Joe's Driving School

Negative experience: Very unprofessional, does not understand the needs of the client, please for your sanity never trust someone like this. Does not know how to teach and should be investigated by the Occupational Board licensee of Massachusetts.

Negative experience: I feel obligated to share this experience with everyone. the driver (Joe) was super mean, unprofessional and irresponsible. After finishing my driving lesson with him (which I don't recommend in the first place, he was always chatting on the phone). He kept booking several appointments for driving tests and canceling WITHOUT even bothering to tell me. Until, of course, the RMV has blocked my account for due cancelation payment, and again WITHOUT me knowing. Which in the end prevented him from further booking and cancelation (thank god). He choose not to tell me about all these and kept silent for around 4 months. During this period, whenever I called he says" no appointments yet" and that's it. However, I felt fishy, especially after knowing others from other schools were scheduled for their test. I wondered why he took super long to book me. When I faced him and asked what was going on, he yelled saying "no the appointments are available but your account is blocked for due cancelation payment, why you didn't pay yet, you should pay, so I can book you again" he acted as it was my fault and he has nothing to do with it. I told him why I was not aware of all the constant booking and cancelations, he kept yelling and raising his voice not allowing me to talk and hang on me. I hated this man and how unprofessional he was. I could not find any other number from his company to report him. So I went to another school and they served me right and took the exam (after paying all his cancelation fees around 90 $) and took the exam.

Negative experience: I have not learned from this school and failed the license exam test, however, when I went with different school I immediately passed, also this school was not well organized and they kept booking and deleting the road test multiple times without me knowing which caused me paying triple amount of the price. I hated my experience with this school.

Negative experience: I don’t mean to sound rude but this needs to be addressed. So recently I called joe and scheduled myself for driving school. I was supposed to start today at 12pm and end at 1pm. And he never should up or even gave me a call to let me know that he wasn’t coming. I left him a voice message hours ago and of course never called me back. All he told me was “Tuesday, January 11th, 12-1pm” but again, NEVER SHOWED UP!! Maybe there was a misunderstanding but I will not recommend anyone to someone that doesn’t show up to do their job so if you don’t want to waste your time, do t even bother calling Joe. Joe, if you see this, please be more professional and intentional with people that are trying to get on the road.

Fantastic experience: Joe's the best driving teacher, definitely recommend to anyone who is trying to get their driving license. He treats everyone equally and with respect, he's was very kind and patient with me. He gave me an extra hour free, just because he wanted me to be ready so I can pass the test, so, yes, did pass my test. Thank you, Joe, you the best of best

Fantastic experience: This man is great he’s helpful makes me feel great. I am 8-9 months pregnant and he does everything to make me comfortable maybe if you people were less concerned with him being on the phone you would’ve learned something.

Fantastic experience: I think the reviews show how people are so quick to bash someone because they of miscommunication between both parties. This guy is great and makes everyone feel comfortable when you first join. He doesn’t judge which is one of the biggest factors when choosing a driving school for yourself or someone else. Just because he has an accent doesn’t mean he isn’t qualified to do the job, he does a better job than half of the people who don’t have an accent. He’s the only person running this business and I think he does a pretty damn great job. For anyone who gave him one star, shame on you trying to ruin his business.

Fantastic experience: After two failed road tests from two different schools, I decided to go here per my cousins recommendation. Joe was very kind and patient with me. I finally got my license! Thank you joe!!!

Negative experience: Spent 10 hours driving here and received very little instructions and little help. Had to find a new school. Extremely disappointed. Wish I could get my money and wasted time back.

Negative experience: The worst driving school don’t lose your time and your money and make sure if take just one 1 hr with them or just you give your ID he is gonna take a appointment for road test without your accept just for retaliation I take with them just 1 hr I don’t like him he is rude nervous, I make appointment at 3:00 I don’t start until 4 because he is late he talked at Phon a lot in your hours he take other students on Sam car in your hours I paid in RMV $70 because he take for me appointment without my accept he never called me or text this retaliation PLEASE don’t LOSE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME THIS IS THE WORST DRIVIN SCHOOL

Negative experience: If only there was a way to rate this school with a zero. The instructor is very unprofessional. He refers to everyone as "baby" which is quite creepy and he's always on his phone yelling "weh..weh..weh". He makes you pick up the next client instead of helping you focus on your areas of need. I requested him to let me practice something about 15 mins before the end of my lesson and he ignored my request asking me to drive thereby picking up his next student. You will spend more than 10 classes simply learning how to turn a wheel and then he'll ask you to take more classes due to having learned nothing. All he does is put you down throughout your classes. He calls you out on one mistake for at least 15 mins making you more anxious as you drive. Please invest in a school that actually cares about more than getting money out of you.

Negative experience: No thank you. I wish I could rate zero stars and get my money back. He calls every woman "baby" and it's offputting and creepy. I didn't learn anything and if I asked a question- it was as if I was bothering him. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

Negative experience: The worst school, you will not learn anything, the instructor is impatient when asking questions. My experience was bad, I take more than 5 classes didn’t learn anything plus they are not professional while training the instructor spent the whole time talking in his phone. I used to drop him off to his home and I must wait 5 or more minutes for him in the car. Not good, I do not recommend it.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst driving school ever. Scheduled a class for 5pm and started driving right away, he made me drive to Somerville to drop off the previous student, the enter drive we were stuck in traffic, had me go through a rotary that has cars coming from all different directions and is crazy at that time of the day. Was completely rude and yelled at me for not going with the traffic light was already yellow twice!! I do not recommend this school to anyone interested in learning the right way.

Fantastic experience: It was a great experience overall. I did not have much driving exposure prior to taking up lessons with Joe.Throughout the lessons, he was extremely patient with me which gave me a lot of confidence to clear my driving test in the first attempt. Would definitely recommend him. Keep up the good work!!

Negative experience: This guy has an accent and a bluetooth in his ear and he is always on his phone. He refuses to pick up and drop off if he is far away, even though it is only 4.5miles and he is very impatient. Worst experience ever. I would not go there again.

Fantastic experience: My experience driving with joe was excellent. I never had any difficulty driving with him. His feedback and advice on the road was very helpful. I passed the test easily with his help. I would recommend any new student to start here.
