Fantastic experience: I went to class here and Im going to say that the classes were great and understandable, Thank you for everything.

Negative experience: They are fake not good people literally smoked by a student and then literally picked with me as well as manipulated me don't mind how I texted this but please read this because they are very much concerning and I'm just tryna get this message out there for those wanting to bring there kids. Thanks I surely will receive my permit and license though no matter what if they try to stop it because they are not right. I will remain resilient. So I texted this out before they dropped me so now I'm finna add more because I found out today they dropped me they didn't call or nothing so that's even more concerning but these people lack respect and lack professionalism they try to make you seem as the problem but they were in the wrong from the start then want to make it pointed out to you so I could say so much but what I already said was enough August 8/25/2025 I wouldn't recommend going to cove for DPS arrive alive isn't even legit they are a joke and they're communication is just bad literally they don't even see they're wrong doing but try to tell someone else what they're doing when the person has good intentions I'm referring to myself a student that was there but God saw that they weren't worthy of me and that I didn't belong there thankfully I have my permit so they haven't stopped anything they just wasn't for me and I'm glad everything happened when it did because when I first got there I just didn't get treated with respect Mr Sean or however you spell his name didn't respect the females as I seen in other reviews and that's crazy because I read the reviews after everything happened to me and he and the other people did mistreat me yet manipulated so please do see the problem clear because I do and I'm self aware and very observant thank God for his direction Amen. Edited They said I disrupted ya no I was answering and had questions like I was told to do if I needed clarification then I got disrespected and even more thrown at me for no real communication or explanation they were trying to continue to manipulate the situation and me I speak up yet they tried to say I had a personal issue going on ya no I was great lol this is crazy and diabolical how they tried to make it seem like iw as the problem whole time I respected others and made people laugh and even connected with others because I'm a real genuine soul I can only say the truth yet I'm not perfect the way they handled me wasn't right it was messed up and that's honesty they said what they said because they need people there so they can make they money as usual lol this place is a joke and they even tried to use my mental that's so messed up clearly they just want to make it seem they are doing they job but it's showing bad on they side I was safe and even then I didn't harm any one so I'm confused lol the instructors and people that worked there (some) were the problem. Get your consequence or even then take criticism because it's freedom of speech remember plus Danny said you are when I said I'm kinda slow to understanding certain things but I know I'm awesome and smart he isnt right they cuss and all but they don't speak on that I even could've had the other kids say the same because everything was so obvious. But God bless they failed me but I'm still going lol I didn't want to go there anymore anyways so I was happier to know they dropped me they are unusual for real all loveeee ❤️

Negative experience: Arrive Alive of Texas is a money grab — don't waste your time or money. From the way Shawn handled the test, I could tell it wasn’t about helping people pass — it was about rushing you and finding reasons to fail you. You're timed on your parallel parking, and if you make even one mistake, you're failed immediately. They don’t let you fix anything or finish the full test. Honestly, failing should only happen if you knock over the cones or do something serious — not because you needed a few extra seconds. Frost Driving School is the complete opposite — they actually make it worth it. They don’t time you on your parallel parking, they let you take your time and finish the test, and they explain your mistakes in a way that actually helps. I knew I wasn’t fully confident yet, but from how they treated me, I felt supported and understood. And even if you fail the first time at Frost, they cover your second test — it carries over, which is fair and respectful. If you’re deciding where to go, skip Arrive Alive and go to Frost. It’s 100% the better choice.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous going into my road test. I’d done a lot of practice but I don’t really test well. However, everyone on the Arrive Alive team was so wholesome and kind towards me, and Shawn, my examiner, fostered a calm and safe space for me to be able to drive during the test, as I normally do when I practice, and he gave me amazing pointers as well afterwards to help me improve my driving. It’s one of the more affordable driving schools too. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very highly recommended, Trudy was so kind and helpful with ensuring we had all the documents for our son’s road test, Shawn was a great instructor! He took the time to explain all the points on the test, the good and bad, very encouraging and kind. So happy we chose this location for our son to complete his driving test!

Fantastic experience: Shawn, Trudy and Elijah are all very friendly, kind and helpful. They do care to help people. I really appreciate it. If anyone needs a road test done. I would definitely recommend Arrive Alive Texas Driving Academy in Copperas Cove.

Fantastic experience: A great place to learn how to drive. My driving instructor was Ms. Kristy and she was fantastic! She told me as long as I could count to eight I could parallel park and with her tips I was able to do it perfectly every time. I took the road test with Shaun and he gave me feedback on what I needed to work on and what I did well which instilled some much needed confidence in me as an anxious driver.

Fantastic experience: Given I only took the exam here, I could tell Shawn is an excellent instructor that cares about who he teaches by giving advice and shares his experiences about the road. Also, he offered me coffee everytime I came, so that is a massive plus in my book.

Fantastic experience: Got this done within just 2 weeks, All thanks to God and Ms kristy. Best teacher there is!!!! The method of teaching the parallel parking is everything when i tell you i sucked at doing the PP before this school and i got it under 30 minutes with Ms kristy lol.Honestly just pay attention to her, she has so much knowledge to give.Thank you so much ma’am. got approved for license!!!!! -Moyo

Fantastic experience: We have 2 drivers. We did drivers education with them. We made them practice and scheduled with DPS for a license and road test. After attempting to do road tests with DPS, a DPS official told us we should just use a driving school since DPS doesn't like to do road tests. DPS made my drivers feel like failures and have no confidence in driving. This was due to a myriad of things, such as DPS demeaning that the student didn't have a brand new vehicle (2011 Chey Colorado), the vehicle doesnt have a back up camera (Hyundai Tucson) and the other vehicle has a back up camera (chrysler 300), DPS worker was passed up for promotion and complained on the road test the entire time, none of the road tests took more than 5 mins when it should be 20mins, the DPS worker didn't like the color of the vehicle or seats (red truck with grey seats). DPS worker told my driver to back into a truck behind them. My driver pointed it out and the DPS worker failed the driver and got out. My other driver was told by the DPS worker told my driver to parallel parking. The pole wasn't visible because is was laying flat, DPS failed the driver citing the driver backed over the pole. The camera in the vehicles proved otherwise, the pole was flattened on the ground before the driver started parking and pole was on the ground when the driver pulled into the parking lot. My drivers are not perfect. But dealing with DPS was a Nightmare. We found this school. Shawn was able to get my new driver's to pass the test and DRIVE BETTER. He helped them have more confidence. The school made this such a clean, fast, easy process. He even scheduled where they get their license and got the paperwork together for them. I wish I would have known about him sooner. This was so painless and easy. My drivers are better off after seeing. I highly recommend this school and Shawn to get your driver to listen and drive correctly. Thank you so so so much!

Fantastic experience: As a Senior in High School attending the course with Mr. Shawn, he was professional, extremely thorough and his patience helped me to focus on what I needed to do. Thank you Mr. Shawn. BTW, my parents thank you too.

Negative experience: I was told that I "didn't know what I was doing"... when all I failed was parallel parking. My ability to drive shouldn't be determined by my ability to parallel park. I've driven on freeways in big cities at 80MPH with no issue. Owner was rude and got frustrated with me easily. I was charged $60 for a 5 min exam that I ended up failing, I wasn't given a chance to even show my other road skills. Complete scam. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Money doesn't come easy, but these people don't care about that. I'd much rather travel to Harker Heights or Killeen.

Fantastic experience: I will be recommending Arrive Alive to anyone who asks. The owner Shawn was very patient with my son taking his road test, and even helped get his documents in order. Additionally, Shawn gave great feedback to ensure my son remains vigilant and safe while driving. Great service/experience overall!!

Fantastic experience: The staff here was so friendly and helpful. Even though I was the only student, they still held a 6 hour driver safety course just for me. Getting into the course was as easy as simply showing up early for class with the required documentation. Everyone made me feel right at home and they answered all of my questions comprehensively I would definitely recommend this school to any and everyone who wants to learn.

Negative experience: BE WARE!!! The owner, Sean, is very rude and unprofessional. My son completed the driver’s ed program with him over a year and a half ago. Randomly, someone called me from his office about two weeks ago to tell me my son needed to get his license. They stated they could schedule an appointment with Sean since my son would be more comfortable with him. I asked what all did we need to bring because again it’s been over a year. I was told to bring the 30 hour log, proof of enrollment in school, and his permit. I was told there was something else but it could be done later. I showed up to my 830 appointment with Sean and he asked if we had watched a video or something and I told him no but it would have been nice for the guy to have told me that. Sean immediately got upset and told me I should’ve checked his website and canceled my son’s appointment. Again, it has been over a year and a half since we started this process. You are the owner.. your staff should’ve told me what I needed but you did not have to be rude. Be aware. He’s rude to the children. He curses at the children, and he thinks that that’s OK. He is even rude to the young, young girls he hires. That’s why there is always a new young face upfront.

Both instructors are considerate to nerves or first time jitters, make an effort to ensure students are understanding of the content, and are extremely flexible to make sure you get your lessons done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I truly appreciate what Arrive Alive has done me! 10/10 recommend!!

Fantastic experience: If you want to be taught the right way to drive, Arrive Alive of Texas Driving Academy is the place you need to go to! I can't say enough great things about our experience with every aspect of the services offered; and our expectations were far exceeded by the staff and instructors! We wouldn't consider taking or other children anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Driving with arrive alive was so much fun! I learned a lot, and was actually excelling a lot faster than I thought I would. They take real care when putting you in a driving situation, making sure that you and everyone else on the road is safe. I highly reccomend.

Fantastic experience: Both of the instructors I drove with are great at sharing all the tips and what the exam will be like. Shawn is great. He is more extroverted and really likes to test you as a student with jokes to make sure you're paying attention. Kristy is also amazing she really shows care for all her students. She points out accomplishments and improvements. She also does her best to help students when they're nervous. This was the best experience I had as an adult learner who felt like they would never drive well enough to go past 35 mph.

Fantastic experience: Instructor Shawn was incredibly professional and kind. Gave good pointers while doing my driving exam and good advice to improve on my driving skills. Would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: instructor slapped me across the face when i turned right instead of left like im sorry i don’t know the difference , i do not suggest coming here
