Surf's Up Driving & Traffic School

Fantastic experience: Surfs up is the best driving school!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars, I had an amazing experience, the instructors are so nice and patient! I was so comfortable the entire time and didn’t feel nervous when I’d make a mistake. Anyone looking for a good driving school should definitely try Surfs Up! :)

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surf’s Up Driving School was awesome! Ben, the owner, is super nice and really went out of his way to help us. My daughter couldn’t find her driving school certificate the day of her drive test, and Ben totally saved the day. He met us half an hour before her test to get everything sorted and was great about explaining the test routes so she knew what to expect. So helpful and accommodating—we’re really grateful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Surfs Up Driving School, along with Ben himself, completely changed my daughter’s perspective of not only driving, but also of herself!! She started out fearful, unsure and not even wanting to drive. In the end she was so confident, excited and just passed her Drivers Test today. Wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with my kiddo.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had a great experience with Surfs Up Driving School! Ben was very accommodating and adjusted his schedule to ensure my daughter was able to fit in all of her classes prior to her test. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter passed her test on the first try!

Fantastic experience: My son had the best experience! They were flexible with his sports schedule and were able to do pick ups/drop offs from school. Passed his test first try with no problem at all. I highly recommend using them for your child's driving experience!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter had 3 different instructors for her 4 appointments, they were prompt and professional. Everything was easy from scheduling to communication and they were very flexible with last minute pick up changes on our part. Best of all, our daughter passed her test the first time, mostly due to their thorough knowledge of what would be required of her to take the test. Thank you Ben and Rob!

Fantastic experience: Instructors are extremely sweet and understanding, will answer any questions you have regardless if it’s just to clarify. Each lesson teaches you a lot and genuinely learnt driving easily and fast. They’re very supporting and I extremely recommend this driving school for new drivers if you’re looking to ease into driving easily / are nervous to begin driving. I appreciate all the help Ben and his team has given me:)

Fantastic experience: Two sons passing on their first try with Surf’s Up Driving School. Their company reputation precedes them as they are know for having a high student passing rate with the DMV. Calm instructors, easy booking with their calendar and reminders for the parents and kids. Even through the nerves my son felt confident taking his test. They make sure you are ready! Would use them again if I had more kids.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful driving school, I felt extremely prepared for my test and normal driving. They take you through courses that are used during the test. I passed the test with 0 errors because of the two instructors.

Fantastic experience: My son learned to drive with Ben and had a great experience! He’s fun, relaxed, knowledgeable, and encouraging which gave my new driver confidence. My son passed his driving test with ease.

Fantastic experience: I have 3 kids and used Surf's Up each time. Rob and Ben are friendly, calm ( I couldn't do their job) and easy to work with. Easy to schedule appointments. They call to confirm the appt the day before. They will pick up at home or school. All 3 of my kids had nothing but good things to say about their experience. I highly recommend Surf's Up Driving School..

Fantastic experience: Helped my daughter gain confidence as a new driver and taught her the necessary skills to pass her DMV test the first time. Rob even called to follow up and see how her test went. I’d recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Amazing approach to teaching, extremely helpful gives you all the tools to succeed on the DMV test. As well as guides you on what to improve on, very knowledgeable, Rob is definitely a great instructor highly recommend anyone to give him a call and see what his program is about!

Fantastic experience: High-quality instruction from a trusted professional— I always felt very safe and respected during our lessons. Rob was kind and thorough. I gained the skills to be a confident driver. My driving examiner commented that my test was the best of the entire week!

Fantastic experience: Such nice guys always on top of it and on time and even had uniforms! I always felt safe with them especially in their rad prius!

Negative experience: I was a new and very nervous driver and he was nice the first day of training, but it all went downhill after that. He would scream at me if I did something wrong to the point where he made me cry. I would feel nervous every time I would drive with him because he was so rude and aggressive, so I would do worse in driving with him. Not only that, but I also heard he was making fun of me and talking bad about me to my friend in his appointment today! Definitely do not recommend.

Negative experience: I have used him before. He does fine with my boys. He is loud and agressive but not terrible for young men. I use a softer, kinder trainer for my girls. I called to schedule a follow up appointment and was told I blew it and there was no way he could get me in the next 3 weeks..... And quote "can't do it, find someone else. You should have known." Amy from American Driving saved the day!

Fantastic experience: Very respectful and he makes driving a lot less stressful. Rob always has something to talk about so it’s never a awkward ride and he’s very calm when you make a mistake. I’m glad I choose to go with him.

Fantastic experience: Don’t let these people fool you. This guy does amazing work and is VERY respectful. He has a lot of patience and dealt with my terrible driving and we both worked out my problems together. I highly recommend this driving school!

Negative experience: Terrible attitude. Can’t control his temper. definitely shouldn’t have someone like that behind the wheel teaching others!
