Negative experience: Zero stars…horrible. DO NOT use these people. You cannot ever get a time to schedule a driving lesson. They have probably 500 people for hardly any spots every week. You have to call on Fridays at 2:30 or online and in 2 minutes there are no spots available. No one answers the phone…ever. Slow to respond on email. They don’t want to talk to anyone in person.

Fantastic experience: Have to say Mr.Don is one of nicest instuctor at All Star Driving School, Thank you for your guidence and sense of humor!

Positive experience: Overall, I’m soooo relieved it’s over… If you have any questions, their employees are Amazing to talk to in-person, but not so much over the phone. I must have called during a full moon or something (why I gave 4/5 stars). Be forewarned: it’s very difficult to schedule a time for required 7 hours of driving with an instructor. They simply have limited slots bc it’s a private lesson. Hence why you need to quick select an available spot before it’s all taken! And I wouldn’t pay for additional driving hours (> 7 hrs) bc it would take forever to finish. *Your teen has a final driving test for the instructor part. But then you gotta pay an additional fee + make an appt for the final driving test! So there’s two driving tests… **Make your appt at the DPS ASAP bc the earliest available dates can be 2-4 months later. And bring your lab top bc we had to wait 1.5 hours twice at two different DPS locations despite we arrive 10 min before our appt time!!! ***And for the last DPS appt, pick “renewal or updating your drivers license” option. Your teen doesn’t need to “return to take an electronic or paper test”. Thank you All Star bc we had ALL the necessary paperwork at our last DPS appt! Good luck to all the parents out there!!!

Negative experience: Rude and unpleasant experience. Their prices are cheap, but I’d rather pay more and get a better teacher. Try Allen instead.

Fantastic experience: Feedback that I received from Don after failing in my first attempt of Road test really helped me in understanding my weak areas. Don made me feel relaxed during the test and shared many great tips. I passed in the second attempt and I want to thank Don for it.

Fantastic experience: My daughter went here for just the driving portion and road test and they were great! Guy at the counter is very personable and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I took my drivers test at the plano location and it went real smooth. The examiner “don” was very nice and informative. He was the reason that motivated me to rate my experience 5 star. Hes also humorous.

Negative experience: We’ve been trying to get a hold of someone, leaving messages multiple times for months. Once we get a hold of someone they’re extremely rude Since they’ve received their money there is 0 I can do to hold them accountable. Do not use this company.

Negative experience: The lessons were fine. Good even. But they couldn't close the deal. We showed up for our appointment with DPS, all of our papers in order after our teens successful driving test. DPS goes to open up the envelope that All Star had sealed the test results and everything in but had neglected to fill out all the required fields on all the forms contained. We had no way of knowing since it was in a sealed envelope. So a DPS appointment that was hard to come by was wasted.

Fantastic experience: My daughter did her behind the wheel training and DPS road test with All Star. Don and crew are patient and kind. My daughter felt comfortable driving and learning from the team at All Star. While it was a bit hard at times to get on schedule, with the introduction of online scheduling, it really helped.

Negative experience: Line is always busy, if you register for the classes i donot see a need for students to call every friday to schedule next week session. They should be on the schedule already. And thry only give one session per week andnever let you get 2 days on a week.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with All Star. I used their services for the road test since DPS was booked so far out. Don my instructor was one of the nicest people I ever met. Explained everything and made me feel confident and comfortable.

Negative experience: First off, they require online prepayment in full for the road test and they were the most expensive of several driving schools we contacted. After scheduling online, I emailed all of the documentation to them as requested, but it was not actually reviewed by in advance. We showed up the following day and they weren't able to conduct the test because my son was a couple days early. They 100% should have known this if anyone actually looked at the paperwork so it was just a waste of everyone's time. It has now been a full month since our visit and we are still waiting for a refund. No one has responded to 4+ emails and no response after a phone call either. I was simply told that they are short-staffed and very busy.

Positive experience: I think I lost my temper at one of the instructors here back in 2017 and I'd like to apologize . It's a fine place, you can take a test, what more do you want?

Negative experience: This guy basically took all of my 100 dollars of cash from me. He will talk down to you during the test and is extremely condescending and rude. You can tell he has a very rasict mentality by the way he talks to you during the test. If you are black, indian, asian, basically anybody who is a minority or has color on their skin the last thing i would do is test with these people and there are plenty of schools owned by your own ethnicity in the dallas area. They WILL take your money and leave you with regret. The tester is more of a trump like person and will demean you, he will be extremely disrespectful and fail you so that you have to pay more money especially if you are a minority. Take my word for it do not waste your time with these people unless your white and rasict. This test will not be done without racial bias. Understand the mentality of your environment.

Fantastic experience: Took a DPS certifies driving test with Mary and she was wonderful! I was so nervous and she made me feel relaxed and She was so nice . I was able to pass my test ! 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience with All Star Driving School. I took their behind wheels training and also booked my road test with them. The process is very smooth and easy. The instructors are very cordial and James in particular was great to work with. Will definitely recommend them.

Negative experience: Were very rude and condescending to me overall a terrible experience.

Fantastic experience: I came to All Star to take my road test because DPS is booked out for months. I was easily able to schedule my test the day before, and it was quite easy to do on their website. I have been putting off taking a road test for years because I had been so nervous about it, but when I arrived Don was unbelievably kind and professional. He helped calm my nerves, walked me through the process, and was the best person I could've asked for to administer my test. I passed because he was able to make me feel comfortable so I was able to drive as normally as I could under the pressure of the test. Afterward, he went over what I could improve on and what I did well with. I wish I had taken classes with them years ago, and done this sooner. I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Pretty solid, although some kids there aren't very nice to the instructors

Negative experience: ZERO STARS..... went here to take my road test because DPS said they didn't have any appointments until the end of July, was desperate so I'll start calling around to find someone who would take me in, was elated when they said they could schedule me, however was disappointed when I was failed. The instructor Don stated that I ran 5 out of the 6 stop signs that he was able to look through his side view mirror at the ground and look at the speedometer at the same time. He told me that he could tell that I didn't make a complete stop, because he look through his side view mirror and that the ground was still moving but was able to tell me that I never got under two miles an hour meaning I didn't stop. I debated with him because I know I stopped at every stop sign and observed but he beg to differ. So I called up Desi's Driving School in Richardson and they were wonderful. How can someone Miss over 30 points with one driving school and then an hour later only miss 7 . Missed over 30 points with all star Driving School. So I recommend not using all star driving school at all. Total waste of money and time and also they were condescending and rude

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience. I had taken my road test at the All start Driving school, Plano office. Todd was extremely friendly and an excellent teacher. I also got some free driving lessons from him, which I am sure would help me all my life. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: All Star has taken care of three of my boys and my mother-in-law. They do a great job and now they give the driving test as well. Very happy with All Star.
