Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Angelo Driving Academy and their third party testing. Angelo Driving Academy offers a package that includes a practice driving session and then driver testing that cannot be beat. It is well worth the money! And, Mr. Pittman was not only professional but a natural at this. He put my daughter at ease and made the experience enjoyable instead of some tense moment for a young person taking their driving test. I highly recommend him and the Angelo Driving Academy for third party testing.

Negative experience: Worst place in town. They really need to learn customer service and maybe how to answer the phone. Not to mention they treat your children horrible. NEVER USE this place for your child's driving experience.

Fantastic experience: The instructor, Mr. Pittman, is greatly knowledgeable and patient with students such as myself. Through an engaging learning environment, he’s helped me improve my driving confidence and skills to a significant extent within only a short period of time. I’m exceptionally pleased with the quality of the lessons provided. Therefore, I strongly recommend ADA.

Negative experience: Mr Pittman apparently likes to call teenage girls MS. JUICY if they are "thick" making them and the rest of the class feel uncomfortable. The wife in the office is very unorganized with little to no social skills and extremely rude to the children. Instead of Mr Pittman making phone calls during the day, he likes to call after 9pm when we would be in bed. I will not be using this service for any of my other children. Had the business been respectful and professional I would not be leaving this review. My daughter had a horrible experience as well as other children that I have talked to. It amazes me that this is San Angelo's only option other than parent taught.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say if you have been pondering taking your kid to Angelo Driving Academy to do a 3rd party test it is well worth it to pay Mr Pittman the full $70. It gives you a 30 minute practice drive, he helps you practice on your parallel parking, and you take the test in HIS Toyota Corolla not Mom’s Yukon XL which has been quite the chore to teach PP. I highly highly recommend him. He was prompt, personable, very communicative through email, and just all around helpful. It was a great experience!

Fantastic experience: The Angelo driving academy was so easy to get into for drivers ed for all three of my kids. It is defiantly worth paying for this rather than do online self taught because they do all of the class instruction and the drives to get them prepared before they get their learners permit and actually get in a car with you! I recently had my 16 year old take her driving test through them as well which I hadn’t done in the past but it was so simple and much easier than taking it at the DPS. It was only $20 for that and all we did was called and made an appt and Mr. Pitman was very helpful through the whole process. I emailed him several times and he responded promptly and called me personally to explain the process. I highly recommend Angelo driving academy for teen drivers ed and for the driving test. Thank you for taking good care of my kids and making them safe drivers!

Fantastic experience: Mr Pittman is a great instructor and extremely knowledgeable on his craft. As a previous servicemember himself, he was very accommodating to my very tight military schedule and overall went above and beyond to help me get through the process. Excellent establishment!

Fantastic experience: I signed up for the class and driving test and ultimately received my license. Very pleased with the amount of knowledge, skill, and precision by the teacher. I honestly learned a very large amount of things from the class and from the driving test. As long as there is good communication, I don't see why you shouldn't sign up for Angelo Driving Academy. I am pleased with the service.

Negative experience: Crazy outdated material being used. They teach students signs that aren't in use anymore.

Negative experience: Literally signed up for classes yesterday for my daughter. Classes begin next month. Paid the class in full. No classes have been had. Classes are not full. Called today to see if I could switch her to the earlier time slot and was told there is a 35 dollar change fee. I could understand if classes were about to start but it had literally been 24 hours. And by the way when I went to sign her up at their open time of 12, no one showed up to their office for over 15 minutes. Should have read these reviews!

Fantastic experience: My son took the driving course and some extra driving lessons. It took a while because my son did it on his personal schedule and pace. We were both absolutely pleased with the end result. :) VERY HAPPY!

Negative experience: My son missed his last day of class he did good in class but just did not get the Certificate from them but we messed up and waited till the last minute to go pick up his certificate. My son being 16 today is very upset. He has been waiting this long to go take his test and Angelo Driving Academy can not find a record of this, as if he never went there, but they sure took our money.. Maybe this will get cleared up but its sure an inconvenience and this can ruin a kids birthday.. We are very unset about this whole thing and I will let everyone know not to go here it that's what it take, BBB will here from me also.. Thank you for your time.
