DIRT BIKE BOOT CAMP

Fantastic experience: Took a 2 day training class ahead of a big dirt bike trip to Utah. Hadn't owned a dirt bike in 8 years or so and it was a great refresher. Roger is an awesome instructor showing us many tips and tricks. Had a great time!

Fantastic experience: Took my 15yo there for a one day experience and he absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend this experience for anyone. We plan on taking our 8yo there next, and I may sign up for lessons myself! Great place and great staff.

Fantastic experience: I just completed the 2 day Boot Camp and I must say what an amazing experience! This is a gorgeous property and it is obviously well cared for! The instruction was top notch and I learned so much: hill climbs and descents, standing up, proper body position, braking and even some small jumps! The rental bikes are great, reliable and fun to ride. I had a Honda crf250 and a Yamaha 230. The changing rooms are clean and so are the restrooms. Pizza and unlimited water and gatorade are provided. Lastly, the folks that run this place are so friendly, eager to teach and always encouraging. There is a wealth of deep riding experience and knowledge, so if you attend, try and soak it up! What an absolute gem this place is!

Fantastic experience: My son went in able to ride, but without a ton of confidence on his little KLX110 and was zipping around a mini mx track on a full sized CRF 125 by the end of it. The instructor, Jesse was amazing. She's like a kid whisperer. My son learned how to properly position himself on the bike, shift and brake properly, ride standing up, pick up a dropped bike and much more. It was absolutely worth the trip from Ohio and we'll be back again. I can't describe how much safer I feel about riding out on public trails with him now that he's been through such a great training class. As a rider who spent a lot of time on a dirtbike in my youth and am coming back to it after 20 some years, I learned a ton as well. It's located about a 45 minute drive from Williamsburg, all there's plenty of places to stay and things to do after training ends for the day. I highly recommend this school for riders of any skill level or just as a fun family outing. If you're a nerd for old bikes like I am, check out the museum while you're there. There's some super cool bikes inside.

Fantastic experience: For YEARS my daughter had been riding pillion with me. I dreamed of the day when we could ride side-by-side, and Dirt Bike Boot Camp made it happen! Between serving in the military and life just getting in the way (including a dirt bike school closer to my house that, sadly, wasn’t helpful), I struggled to make that dream a reality. Finally, and thankfully, my friend Linda told me about Dirt Bike Boot Camp and the successful experience she had there. DBBC didn’t have classes in session; but they make exceptions, and I’m forever grateful they did. They provide everything from head to toe. All you need to do is get plenty of rest the night before and bring long, knee-high socks and a great attitude because you’re going to learn a LOT and have a BLAST - especially if George McCloud is your instructor!!! You’re in excellent hands with Dirt Bike Boot Camp! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Loved every moment went on a Ruesday and the one on one with Jesse was great went from not knowing how to ride to braaaping around the land at times getting up to 4 or 5th gear getting some I learned this all at 25 I learned so much so quickly and I was able to co e home to my own bike and get out and do what I was learned on it also will come again just to ride..

Fantastic experience: This was one of the best experiences my boys & I have had. We were part of a group of 5, 2 adults, 3 kids aged 10, 14 & 17. The instruction, instructors and run of day was perfect. Our ride instructor Will, made it very easy. As we stalled out, he remained patient & was able to assist everyone in our party no matter the problem. After a few runs, we had it down and with each run, we got more and more comfortable. Everyone who works there made today stress free and beyond memorable. Put this on your bucket list & DO IT!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time ever and I had a blast I got lost on the way down but oh my it was fun. Jessie was great and when I was out on the trail once I left the beginners course she came out to check on me and see if I was safe and doing everything correctly . Thank you Jessie for helping me. I appreciate everyone that helped me out today, and to the owner thanks for helping me as well and everyone else that checked on me when I fell! I will definitely be back thankyou thankyou for such a fun and exciting day! I was able to push through it all and I made it. Thanks once again

Fantastic experience: Excellent private instruction provided by Roger and Jessie; they will challenge you within your skill level so it’s a safe learning environment. Modularized “bite size” approach to training and drills. Trails and dirt courses offer everything from beginner level to advanced levels of difficulty. Excellent precursor to Adventure bike riding. Two areas of improvement if expanding facility 1) need to set up a shower or two for visitors, especially those flying in to train 2) need to thoroughly check bikes pre and post class for any maintenance issues

Fantastic experience: Just finished Day One of a two day Boot Camp. It is such a blast! Whether you are brand new to riding or have any experience, every rider is met where they are in order to build confidence and make sure you have fun. I had been waiting to find someone to go with me, UNNECESSARY! I met some great folks, fast friends. So many people from all over the place, here just to ride and have fun. Again, such a blast. Great atmosphere. Great teaching. Great fun. Just come, get dirty and have some fun!

Fantastic experience: We brought our son who is 7 down from New York for a two day bootcamp with Jesse. It was worth it 10x over. From the moment we showed up until the minute we left it was awesome. We left seeing our son ride the smoothest we have ever seen him ride! The way Jesse worked with our son and the other kids is superior to any other training we have gotten him before (we have been to our share of trainings). Ontop of all of that the help I got from Jesse and her father Bob with things about his bike was A+. Great people and a great time! We will be back again!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic way to spend a day or the weekend. They provide all the gear and the bike you just need to show up ready to have fun. Bob and his team are super friendly and the coaches are top notch and the trails are fantastic. Lots of space.

Fantastic experience: Highly, Highly recommend for all types, ages, and experience levels. They took my three kids with no riding experience at all and couldn’t tell a clutch from a choke to jumping in two days. Really one, but the second day is soo worth it. Then there’s me. Experienced rider with plenty of road roading , but no dirt. I learned so much about dirt, turns, and jumping. This is the perfect family Activity. My 13 year old hung the “diploma” on his wall! I about fell over. Way to go Team Bob! And i might add, the place is gorgeous, well kept, bikes are impeccable, and rented gear is good quality. Would do again without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Bob and the Dirt Bike Boot Camp was awesome!!! Far exceeded our expectations. It was the right amount of training and riding. I was surprised at all the families and young kids that were riding and having fun. Can't wait for our next trip. Shout out to Roger our 74 year old instructor...such an inspiration!!!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed The two day fundamentals course at Dirt Bike Boot Camp! My 9 yr old son, 6 yr old daughter, and myself all attended the bootcamp and learned a tremendous amount. My son and I I have been recreationally riding around our property for the last year. learning the fundamentals from Bob and his staff has made us both significantly better riders and far more comfortable on the bikes. This was my daughter’s first experience riding a gas bike and she rode the entire day both days and is excited to get her own 50cc soon. I would highly recommend Dirt Bike Boot Camp

Fantastic experience: I took my 14 year old to the boot camp for a father/son weekend. We had an absolute blast! The courses on the property were excellent for anyone new to the sport and the instructors were fantastic. I can't think of a better way to get acquainted with dirt bikes.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Dirt Bike Boot Camp was great. First of all, Bob worked to accommodate my schedule which was a huge help for me and enabled me to take the class. I took the Dirt Bike 101and ADV 101. I came not feeling confident riding dirt and gravel and left with the confidence and ability to ride competently on these surfaces. Bob let me stay after class and work on my skills and this was huge as I was able to improve one element at a time until I felt like I could do it consistently well and then move on to the next skill element. Roger, my ADV instructor was patient and insightful and I'd recommend him to anyone wanting to build their skill.

Fantastic experience: Cannot rave enough about this experience. My husband packed all four kids and me into the car and we drove down from NoVA for a couple of hours for his surprise -- a day at Dirt Bike Boot Camp. Bob got us all properly equipped -- shirts, pants, boots, helmets, goggles, body armor, gloves, knee and shin pads -- we were COVERED. And all the while keeping to social distancing rules, so we stayed safe. After "class" instruction under a tent, we took our bikes onto the tracks and learned to drive. We took a lunch break, got back onto the tracks, and learned to drive more. The day culminated in about an hour to an hour and a half of guided trail rides with the whole family throughout the beautiful property. All of my kids' training needs -- from the 11 year-old to the 16 year-old -- were seen to by Bob, Anthony, Richard, and Jesse. I. LOVED. THIS. DAY. Thank you all at Dirt Bike Boot Camp for giving us such a great family outing to reminisce over in May 2020!!

Fantastic experience: I brought my 5 year old here and we could not have had a better experience. He was the youngest one in the class and the instructions were patient, encouraging, and gave him all the attention he needed. They road on the bike with him first, then held the back as he road it, until eventually he was doing laps around the track himself. I did the adult class which was great too. It couldn’t have been a better experience - regardless of your skill level (yes that means beginners) come try it - you’ll have a great day.

Fantastic experience: Bob and his team do a great job. I have been with my family twice now and would not hesitate to recommend the experience to anyone. Lots of safety gear, many different sizes of bikes and varied terrain to suite beginners and more experienced riders alike. Thanks again Bob and we will see you again soon!

Fantastic experience: My Brother in law and I took my niece 9, Nephew 11 and daughter 5 up to Bob's school this past weekend. We live in Raleigh and had a recommendation from a friend that this was a great place to learn. Man was the drive worth it! Everyone had an absolute BLAST! My daughter cannot stop taking about how amazing it was. She was so proud to get her diploma that we had to make copies so she could give them to her teachers! This was an amazing family outing that I am pretty sure will kickoff an activity that we can do for years and years!! Bob thank you for the memories!!!

Fantastic experience: My wife Cindy and I had such a great experience at Dirt Bike Boot Camp! Cindy had never ridden a motorcycle before and by the end of the day they had her going through the gears and doing laps around the track. I have lots of street bike experience but not much time on dirt bikes and learned so much in just one day, from laps around the TT track to single tracking in the woods. Great selection of gear and bikes and the instructors were amazing. Highly recommend these guys. Thank you Bob, David and Chris for an awesome day — we will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: My grandson was reluctant to ride at first, but ended up having a great time. He went from never sitting on a dirtbike to riding all around the property and asking to go back. He has a long ways to go, especially when it comes to shifting but all in all it was a great experience. Instructors were knowledgeable, patient and welcoming. If it is something that has crossed your mind but nervous about trying stop worrying and go for it, you will not be sorry.

Fantastic experience: My son, daughter, and I came here with another father and his 2 sons and had one of the best times of our lives. Bob and crew where excellent teachers (comical but serious) and took the time for one on one as needed. We all have been riding dirt bikes for about 1 year but this class just made them all the more fun. Instead of us getting frustrated or trying to figure out things on our own, you learn the basics that you may not learn otherwise from just backyard riding. All of us now feel so much more confident in our riding and balance after learning where to put it and how. One of the best parts is we were able to try other bikes and get advice about what would be a good fit or upgrade. We also got a tutorial on safety equipment and how to keep our head if we get in bad situations. We are definitely going back and I can’t say enough good things about Dirt Bike Boot Camp.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I attended the DBC in September and really enjoyed the whole process. Bob communicated with us in advance to help us find a good date and review our equipment needs (I have gear but my wife had none). The location was easy to find using the school's directions. The staff were ready for us.We geared up and the rental bikes were all prepared and ready. We began with a discussion of safety practices and gear. We then concentrated on very basic drills and had plenty of time to practice. My wife had minimal riding experience and moved right along the course as did several other adult and child beginners in the class. I would recommend this school broadly: whether you are an experienced rider who wants to try dirt riding or even if you have never ridden before. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my 2 sons attended the single day session. My boys are 11 and 13, and had never been on a motorbike. Within a couple of hours they were zipping around the track. I personally had not been on a dirtbike or any motorbike in over 30 years, I was completely comfortable and having a blast before we stopped for lunch. They provide you with all the gear and safety equipment properly fitted and sized for each individual. They teach everyone how to safely operate the bike, throttle, brakes, gear shift, even the proper posture, all before you're allowed to ride. Then there are a series of repetitive drills where you're instructed on how to use the foot brake, then the hand brake, then the gear shift, etc. The training/instruction is not boring or tedious, it's actually a lot of fun. You're learning how to ride a dirtbike! There were a few minor spills, myself included, but nothing that seemed or looked remotely dangerous and was usually the result of over-confidence. One guy said he had to promise his wife that he would return home with their son uninjured. There was no reason to worry, safety was always a priority. By the end of the day you're riding all over the farm having fun! There were 7 people total in our class. My 2 boys, myself, another 2 boys around 12 or 13, 2 other dads and a young girl. Everybody had a great experience. I highly recommend it!

We took my nephew, who is 7, and was zipping around a bike after just a few minutes of training. The instructors were very experienced both in riding and teaching. We all had a blast and can't wait to go back!
