Nashoba Valley Auto School Llc: Reviews
Negative experience: During my test there was two guys in the car who where talking the whole time and every time I’d approach a intersection they wouldn’t give me instructions on where to go untill the last second it seemed like they didn’t even care about the test all they cared about was the convo they where having
Negative experience: This driving school is absolutely dreadful and a corrupt auto school who are hungry for money and do not care about their students whatsoever. I don’t think i’ve met anybody ruder than the people here. First and foremost, I had 4 different driving instructors who all taught me different ways of doing manuevurs which is horrible for a teenager and their mind. One instructor I’d like to point out is David Bennet. David Bennet is a rude, angry, and corrupt old man who will yell at you and absolutely waste your time by stopping at gas stations for a majority of your driving time. He tends to stare at his phone and not prioritize his students and their time. Not only this, when the day my driving test came I walked in and instantly got a foul odor of cigarettes and an overwhelming amount of stress coming from the lady at the front desk. When asking for assistance of where to wait for my test, I was instantly scolded by the lady there after handing her my permit. She proceeded to point to where I wait and remarked, “Over there!” adding bad attitude to it. I did pass that day, but when I returned to the office I got no sort of enthusiasm when I returned and she proceeded to tell me instructions in her rude attitude again. A friend of mine had a similar experience, but failed and had to pay almost $200 just to rebook another one after a small mistake on parallel parking. If you work at an autoschool you should have the upmost amount of professionalism and respect as we the people pay the school hundreds of dollars for education. The state of Massachusetts should definitely investigate this schools corruptness and lack of professionalism in their staff and reform them immediately. If you’re constantly under pressure and stressed from the job, then you should simply not work there, and not take it out on the students there. In conclusion, you shouldn’t just run from this autoschool, you should sprint from this autoschool and spend your hard earned money on a driving school that thrives in maturity, professionalism, and respect.
Negative experience: I recently had a disappointing experience with Nashoba Valley Auto School, and I feel compelled to share my one-star review to warn others about potential issues. My main gripe revolves around one of the driving instructors who consistently wasted valuable lesson time. During my lessons, my Instructor David Bennet seemed more interested in using the time to send students into parking lots rather than focusing on essential driving skills. Instead of honing in on important maneuvers, we found ourselves sitting in a parking lot, such as Dominos or a gas station. Which not only felt like a waste of time but also a misuse of the lesson fee. I signed up for driving lessons to develop my driving skills and gain confidence on the road, but this instructor's questionable decision to prioritize sitting in a parking lot rather than teaching me, it left me frustrated and unsatisfied. It felt like a disorganized approach to teaching, and I expected more professionalism from a driving school. I hope that Nashoba Valley Auto School takes this feedback seriously and addresses the concerns raised by students like myself. Until improvements are made to ensure a more focused and structured learning environment, I would caution potential customers to explore alternative options for their driving education.
Negative experience: I feel like this driving school does not even deserve a star! To start off many of the instructors were very rude to me and they put minimal effort into driving instruction. The instructors where all inconsistent with the methods they teach instead of a standard method. There is one specific instructor I would like to highlight: Instructor David Bennet - David Bennet is a rude and disrespectful man who took up around 1/4 of my lesson time by making us pull into a gas station, he tells us to sit in the car while he gets something to eat or uses the bathroom (which takes around 20 - 30 minutes). He did this in two of my lessons and, my friends who also had David said he did the same thing for them in every lesson they had him. When another instructor was asked about this they said "Not to worry about it". If people are making a thousand dollar commitment to learn how to drive, they should be maximizing the amount of content they take away from each and every lesson. David also sits on his phone while the student is operating the vehicle WITH HEADPHONES IN. Clearly he does not show any dedication to his job or value in the quality of driving that he teaches his students. One instructor I would like to highlight is: Instructor Anthony Bourque I feel that Anthony Bourque is the best instructor at this driving school. Not only did Bourque provide constructive criticism but he is the only instructor that did not feel the need to be rude. Anthony Bourque allowed me to use methods which I had learned at home that I was more comfortable with and gave pointers on things that the testers would be looking for.
Negative experience: I'm giving them a single star because I cannot rate them any lower. They don't even deserve that one star. They operate under the name of Massachusetts Auto School, but you won't find them on Google. I suspect they use the name Nashoba Valley on Google to avoid negative reviews. The staff is very rude, unprofessional, and appears to be discriminatory. The instructors deliberately undermine your confidence. They refuse to listen or consider your techniques, even when you're driving correctly. Instead, they harshly enforce their own methods. It seems they discriminate based on profiles. Despite attending three sessions with them, they were consistently unpleasant and treated me unfairly. I have canceled my road test and two additional lessons.
Negative experience: This people just want money... i had 3 "lessons" and the first two were ok, they even told me i was completely ready to do a road test (btw i',m an experienced driver but not in this country, SO YES I KNOW HOW TO DRIVE), and the first and second teacher told me just book another class "just in case", ok i let them go and just booked the class, but the 3rt teacher was so bad, the first question he asked me was ,How many lessons did i a have with "THEM"?" NOT IF I ALREADY KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A CAR OR MY NAME, And when i said 3 lessons , he literally grab the seabelt like he was about to die (the car was not moving) AND SAID "I DON'TKNOW YOU OK!, and stepping on the breaks so hard with every single movement the car was doing, and faking that i was a bad driver just to make me book another lesson on purpose, i'm so mad at this place... i choose this place originally because they are cheap but i regret not going to a little more expensive school instead... this school is good for teenagers because they need will make you pay a bunch of lessons but not recommend to experienced drivers who just need to get the license.
Positive experience: Very difficult to get drive times scheduled
Positive experience: Good mix of instructors and styles, my son did well and passed first try. Newer cars with pickup at your home for lessons. Classroom portions still online.
Negative experience: Classes were informative but the driving instructor hit on me as a minor
Negative experience: Some of the people working there are not professional and lock some of Basic customer service work attic.
Negative experience: very rude. not good at all. just changing to other auto school.
Negative experience: Rude, unprofessional, aggressive despite complete politeness from student. Avoid Ma*k Tuc*er, avoid this school. This instructor has been referenced by name in multiple negative reviews and clearly refuses to alter his conduct.
Fantastic experience: A very professional courteous and helpful excellent School highly recommended
Negative experience: Listen, I am a very understanding person but this has happen twice and we in all the United States have to wear mask because covid. I understood that we to do an online class due to safety of ourselves and others. The Drivers Ed Class are so suppose to be online so how come we get the reminders early but, not the zoom link to get on time. Hmm…. seems like sabotage to me. Now we have to reschedule.Since, I the customer have to ask for my link the, day of the class apt. You”ll get a bad rating, I hope you guys are better with the Drivers Ed driving hours.
Positive experience: Good school to get your High schooler take lessons and learn to drive. Driving instructors are great. However, after the lessons are done, the driving test is pretty tricky . While the school distances itself as it's a RMV inspector who handles that, I have few genuine concerns around the testing methodology. That's not something I would share publicly.
Negative experience: One instructor (Ma*k Tuck*r) was very rude, impatient and impolite. He will make you take more classes by saying you are not ready for road test or a confident driver. His comments devastate nervous students. However, most of their remaining instructors are professional and encouraging with couple of them impatient as well, a skill that is not easy to possess. Communication from school is good with Janice. You will pass with flying colors if you practice enough. Good luck!
Positive experience: You guys do a great job though you charge alot.
Negative experience: I feel compelled to share my child's experience with this purported school. A school is where you teach. When it comes time to take the road test one would like to think that the teacher would assist in every way possible to be prepared to pass the test. Although there is no way of knowing for certain, it came to my attention there was a pattern of failures that was more than coincidental. When I heard repeatedly of this systemic pattern of road test failures I came to believe that it was intentional, solely to boost the revenue of Nashoba on the backs of families who have to pay to retake the test-where they always pass. Most of the failures are result of alleged minor turn signal lapses that are in fact noted by the road test instructor to trick the student and used as grounds for failing the test. Mass drivers are impatient and aggressive. A school can teach young people to avoid this behavior. Nashoba did none of this according to what I have come to understand. In the parenting class they warn repeatedly about the turn signal as if to say it's a given your child will fail if they screw up-so they can say to the student you failed-I told you so... So if you want to avoid an additional fee go somewhere else.
Negative experience: Don't support this man and his auto school! My wife and I are currently homeless and he fired her! Just because she's been having panic attacks over our situation so I started riding with her to help her remain calm. It's such a scary time in the world and after we loss everything, we tried to rebuild but this man is heartless. Didn't even have the guts to do it correctly just locked her our the system. My wife was their best instructor. Her first day back and most all her students called in to schedule all their appointments with her. She's his superstar and this is how he treats her. Any and all of Maria's students who see this, boycott that driving school. They don't deserve your money, your parents money, or your patronage
Negative experience: Inconsistent advice from driving instructors. Flat out misrepresentation of the skills worked on with student driver. The staff takes no ownership of facilitating the driver test that you pay them a hundred plus dollars for 10 minutes. Communication was poor. The scheduling website was difficult to use. When I called to ask for support they changed the parameters on the account to space it out drive sessions making it more difficult. They do not even maintain the cars, instructor scraping the education car with a credit car so my student could see to drive. There must be a local better school that appreciates their customers. Will not return with my other child.
Negative experience: Very unreliable and rude instructors. Im not letting anybody I know go here.
Fantastic experience: After a horrible experience with another local auto school, Mass Auto saved the day. The compassionate and professional staff were there to help with any questions that needed to be answered and made my son feel welcomed and worth their time. Highly recommend!
Negative experience: This place stinks. Stay away from it
Fantastic experience: Nashoba Valley Auto School is great. All my kids learned to drive there, no accidents (knock on wood) and our insurance rates are reasonable. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: I passed the test from this school. I tried to pass the road test from another 2 school but not good. Cos i pay for review test many time. I like this school and good teacher. I want to advice if you need driver licence your should try from this school
Negative experience: horrible school refused to help me in any sort of way told me they wouldnt accommodate my special needs when i talked to them before i went then told me they don't accommodate kids with special needs after i complained they wouldnt help me. then when i wanted a refund because how horrible the school and my first driving lesson was then refused to give it to me. no one get shay as an instructor complete ass
Fantastic experience: So organized, signing up for the schedule2drive is so user friendly and great to use. The instructors and office staff are so nice and helpful. Thank you! Diane Cohen
