Fantastic experience: Had an excellent time with using this school and its 5 lesson package, all instructors were friendly and knowledgeable, used it for the roadtest as well and passed with a perfect score!

Positive experience: Highly recommended! Friendly, knowledgable instructors who are there to help. Helpful office staff, and the new text and email reminders about upcoming appointments, as well as the reviews of how your kid did on each drive, are great.

Negative experience: The website needs to be updated and is very obsolete and difficult to use or it just doesn’t work. no one ever answers the phone. called Every hour of the day. With no return call… call Karan’s driving school if Dave’s doesn’t call back or answer. They actually pick up the phone and return calls.

Negative experience: If you're in search of a driving school, I recommend steering clear of Dave's Driving School. Their website may suggest otherwise, but they do not offer a professional, high-quality driving experience in a friendly, patient, and comfortable environment. Instead, they prioritize taking your money over teaching and promoting safe driving practices. The instructors appear indifferent to their responsibilities and do not effectively teach their students, particularly young drivers.

Negative experience: Had one of these cars pull out right in front of me in Lee today very slowly. By the time they pulled out it was too late to safely do so. I obviously don’t blame the student driver, but clearly the instructor never said anything if she was going anyways since she basically coasted into my lane. Fortunately I learned at a different driving school and am more aware of my surroundings or there would have been an accident.

Negative experience: Obviously doesnt teach people to drive properly. This student was all over the road, randomly braking and turning the blinker on and not turning, and the instructor did nothing to help. Had a line of cars a half a mile long behind them, going 20 in a 35. Teach them how to actually drive the car, or get them out of the way. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here to learn how to drive.

Negative experience: Unprofessional Jerks.

Fantastic experience: I got lessons with Todd in North Adams and Tim in Pittsfield, and they were fantastic teachers. They were empathetic to my nervousness and very supportive. I highly recommend being sponsored by Dave's before a road test!

Negative experience: Guy has no idea about driving, gives bad info and witness him teaching road rage. Made a student drive through a construction site and picked a fight with road workers. Not professional at all... would only give 0 stars

Negative experience: There were a couple points of unpleasantness but my biggest complaint is the instructor using their hands to position me. This included grabbing on my hands, wrists and shoving in the midst of my back to put me in position. Ultimately I do not feel comfortable at a facility that utilizes these methods. The instructors seem kind but I draw the line at physical touch.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Kenny was amazing. He taught me how to parallel park in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend Dave's driving school and especially Kenny.

Fantastic experience: I took my driving test with Dave’s driving school and I couldn’t be more happy with the service. Before the test the instructor from Dave’s took me for a mini practice test and really explained to me what I was doing wrong and how to fix it. I passed because of them. I STRONGLY recommend for anyone with driving anxiety

Fantastic experience: I signed up for 10 hours of adult classes through Dave’s. All three instructors I worked with were extremely friendly and helpful! They sponsored me for the road test and I passed on my first try. I would recommend Dave’s to anyone who may be anxious about driving!

Fantastic experience: Everybody at Dave's driving school was fabulous. I called them as I was still deciding on a slot to take my road exam and needed a sponsor. They managed to find someone that was available for one of the few open timeslots with the RMV. The prep they gave me before the exam to get familiar with the car was spot on, and Kenny, the instructor, was excellent at giving helpful advice. Awesome experience, they were super helpful in every way they could be. Also try the coffee place next door!!

Negative experience: Super unprofessional didn’t schedule anything when they said they would. The secretary heather had a disrespectful tone when she answered so I could schedule my drivers test because Dave’s messed it up 2 times I was suppose to go next week to get it but now it’s 2 months away because they never scheduled it. Todd the driving instructor was good and did his job right I do not recommend giving Dave’s driving school your money they are a rip off!!! Edit: they also never put any of my lessons or classes in the system so it’s like I never took driver ed

Fantastic experience: Earlier last month I gave Dave’s a one star review. We had repeated issues with booking and scheduling which caused a late license exam. After my son went for his license test and did not pass the first time the manager offered to schedule him again for a repeat test only a couple weeks later. He went above and beyond when he didn’t have to. After trying to withdraw or edit my review and not being able to I wanted to at least contribute to a better review. This is what businesses should be doing. Going above and beyond to make things ok between client and business. Thanks Dave’s. I really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dave’s Driving School. For many years, I was terribly nervous about driving, but then decided to finally bite the bullet and book some lessons. I worked with several of their instructors, all of who were friendly, patient, and very supportive. And who gave me the confidence I needed to pass my road test and become a licensed driver. An all around good driving school. If you’re a nervous adult learner like I was, this is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a fabulous experience learning and improving her driving skills! Dave's Driving School was extremely professional and organized. The instructors were knowledgeable and the administration was always helpful. They were flexible with scheduling and always available to answer questions. Reminders for driving lessons were always texted and emailed ahead. Very organized. Dave's Driving School exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous to get behind the wheel but after Al took me out I felt very prepared to take my road test. I had both Al and Jeff as instructors and I couldn't reccomend them more. A great place for a nervous driver to become more confident. Happy to say I'm now a licensed driver!

Negative experience: Dave’s driving school is super unprofessional! I do not quite understand how they manage to keep their business as well as they do. They charge a ridiculous amount of money and charge you double if you are any more than 5+ minutes late. I have showed up on time and had to wait for instructors, but when I have been late and called to let them know I was charged and made miss my class when I still had 1 hour and 50 minutes of it. Only driving instructors who wait for students to show up and keep in contact are Jim and Todd. Very good people who take their jobs with pride and care about helping their clients. The rest are very selfish and just care about their pay. Which I don’t understand, I can’t imagine it’s much. Wish we had a more professional set up in the area, with higher understanding people who try working with you and your inconveniences.

Negative experience: The instructors I drove with were great, but the office has serious problems with communication. They never call back.

Negative experience: Dave's Driving school does most of their training on my street. Spring Street in Pittsfield. I can see absolutely that they are very unprofessional.I see them everyday teaching people to block driveways and other unsavory driving tactics.I have been watching them for over 5 years now. I went to a real driving school that had integrity Daves Driving School does not know the meaning of the word integrity. I have seen them in some very very dangerous situations. Like going very close to small children playing on the sidewalk and almost causing bad accidents. I would advise to stay away from them.

Negative experience: Terrible acct management they don't keep track of who paid who doesn't and try to make you pay even when you already paid. Go to another driving school so you don't get ripped off They don't let you pay with cards only cash to make sure you never have it electro locally filed

Fantastic experience: I needed some brushing up on my skills and a MA registered vehicle for my road test and learned that Dave's offers this service for under $100. They set me up to practice for an hour before my road test, pointed out where my skills and habits needed attention, and gave me a lot of confidence right before my DMV road test. Well worth the cost! (I passed of course)

Fantastic experience: At first, the thought of driving both excited and terrified me. But after my classroom and observation hours, I was behind the wheel. And I had never felt more safe and confident in my life. My driving instructor, Al, was one of the best teachers I've ever had. I accomplished my biggest fear, parallel parking, in just one lesson. Dave's Driving School is the reason I got a perfect score on my road test, and the reason I have my license. If you're looking for a drivers education, stop looking, because Dave's is the place to go. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: These guys are awesome! I learned everything I needed to pass my driving test and more! They even took me for an extra lesson before my test to refresh my memory and skills ( worth every penny of the extra $75 ). I passed my test and got my licence the first try! Thank You Dave!
