Renaissance Road Testing

Negative experience: Me and my mother have called a number of 3 times throughout this summer, not once out of these three times has anyone picked up. We both left messages hoping for a call back and nothing.

Fantastic experience: Trust me this road testing center is the way to go. This is the only examiner I’ve seen yet that doesn’t look like he doesn’t feel like doing your test while taking your money. He also engaged in small talk and would even help me calm down and relax when he could tell I was a bit nervous. 5 stars from me.

Fantastic experience: As a foreigner I was quite nervous to take the road test. Bradford is not only professional but he effortlessly makes sure you are made comfortable and your nerves are calmed. Bonus was that he advises on best practices and shares useful tips and tricks. Excellent place to take the road test.

Fantastic experience: Very Happy with Renaissance Road Testing. Bradford was very good and communicated well. Very Professional as well as personable. My 3rd Kid passed her drivers test today and all 3 of my children tested with Renaissance . Top Notch all 3 times and highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Took my test today I was very nervous but the examiner was very calm and patient with me. After the test he went over some things that I need to practice more on and he passed me. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I really liked this place. The guy was about business but not a jerk. He was thorough, fair and reasonable. I would totally recommend him to any that ask. And although my child passed, I really appreciated him giving tips and advice for the future.

Negative experience: Not recommended. Got scheduled. Even a reminder one day before. Seemed OK to that point. Office closed at the day we got scheduled. Personnel never showed up. Never told us they were not going to be there by any means. We called all their phones without an answer. Left voicemail. Also no answers. Sent text. No answers.

Fantastic experience: Great tester. Made some small talk to calm my teenager down. Professional test. Good feedback. Very calm during the test.

Negative experience: I scheduled a test and I got a confirmation text message but when I showed up no one was there and I was informed by a person next door that the guy was on vacation. Completely unprofessional to schedule a test then go on vacation without reaching out.

Fantastic experience: My son was tested today and had a very good experience with Brad. He made my son feel comfortable with small talk, thoroughly explained what was expected during the drive and spent time at the end to talk to him about what things he can work on to be safe on the road. I would highly recommend him!!

Fantastic experience: It was a wonderful experience, the instructor was thorough and amazing at explaining instructions. I previously went to Kenny's and Waterford Driving Testing and they were horrible. I highly recommend going here first.

Negative experience: Very rude, passive aggressive, condescending instructor named Bradford. He made so many comments to make a 16-year old girl feel bad the whole time, talking about “a car her daddy bought her” and “that may be how you drive in West Bloomfield, but not anywhere else”. It was inappropriate and uncalled for. Then at the end of the test after about an hour, he failed her saying she failed after running a yellow light at the beginning of the test. It was not a good experience.

Fantastic experience: All three of my daughters have taken their test here. Super friendly and informative instructor. I would recommend this agency to anyone with no hesitation!

Negative experience: Unfortunately I did not have a good experience, the instructor, while nice, failed my son on a road test, due to a questionable call on his part, he said he ran a red light, while it was his decision I understand. My problem with it was the So called red light was within the first 10-15 minutes of the road test he didn't end the test right then and there we proceeded to drive around for another 30 minutes. If his intention was to fail him from that moment, why waste his time and my time and gas if he felt my son was a danger on the road. Oh well, I lost my confidence in small business and looking at it as a money grab to keep making parents pay for testing multiple times. I will try some other place and suggest to parents to BEWARE.

Fantastic experience: Super chill instructor with prices lower than most places by about $10. I never felt intimidated or rushed, and I'm so glad I went here. I've been recommended by so many people and I see why!
