Fantastic experience: Had a test here after trying out Same Day Road testing. Night and day— Hoth is the only place I’d recommend for anyone in the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area to go to. Personable instructors that help you relax and also are very practical when it comes to driving. If you’ve put in the work but you still feel nervous about the test this is the perfect place for you. 10/10.

Negative experience: Exceeding expectations in customer service is crucial. However, taking my autistic son's money without providing service was unwarranted. Ideally, I would have been present with him, but unforeseen circumstances can arise, making it impossible to cancel or reschedule services promptly. When customers face genuine challenges, it's unreasonable to request additional payment; instead, offering a more affordable alternative or a second chance at a later time, without retaining their payment, is more appropriate. Word of mouth significantly impacts businesses, and demonstrating kindness consistently yields positive outcomes.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with this company. The examiner was extremely nice, patient and made my daughter feel comfortable the entire time. He explained everything clearly and gave good advice after the test. I highly recommend this place to anyone taking their road test.

Fantastic experience: Did the motorcyle test with Hoth. Excellent with scheduling, answering questions over email, and communication about weather on the day of the test. The state's web portal had some issue with my licensing on the day of the test, but Haley (hope I got the spelling right) was able to get that straightened out on the spot. Definitely will be recommending to friends when they get their endorsements.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test today and I am really glad I got an excellent road tester. I made a mistake in parking that I had never done before and started panicking, and he told me it was okay, to stay calm and fix it. He was really kind and attentive the whole time. I really recommend this company and Nadia from A+ driving school as a road instructor.

Halley for easing the exam very friendly when it came down working with him I had a big fear of taking the test but he insured me to be very confident his instructions was very clear and very easy i’m very glad that I worked with with mr. Halley and choosing this agency very kind people there were many agencies, but I know I made the best choice by choosing Hoth testing.

Fantastic experience: Hoth is no joke. They won't give you a free pass. Expect blunt feedback throughout the test drive about everything (which I appreciated), from driving speeds and traffic lights to watching for pedestrians and staying in lane. Don't be upset if it seems harsh. He's there to help you drive safely, so a few words of caution to heed to are better than getting into a fatal car crash later on. Have confidence, don't worry too much about not doing everything right, and don't take it personally. You will pass the exam and get your driver's license.

Negative experience: Do not waste your time with this company. They have no idea what is an IRP registration. One of our driver schedule an appointments for CDL manual transmissions road test, The tester insisted that we have to have a Michigan plate registration. He does not understand that IRP is Michigan plate registration. As a matter of fact I conference called the State of Michigan IRP department with them and she clearly explained to their office employee that IRP is the registration and once she was proven wrong, she hung up the phone. To Respond his baseless reply, same documents were provided for another testing facility and they had no issue confirming that IRP is a Michigan plate registration and scheduled an appointment to conduct the testing.

They were professional, friendly, and organized. One of the testing sites in Ann Arbor gave me a hard time and refused to accept my vehicle for testing by saying it's a fleet vehicle even though it's not. I drove over to Hoth testing site and explained the issue. They were kind enough to give the appointment the following day. They provided clear instructions, communicated effectively, and remained patient and encouraging throughout the evaluation process. Also you only pay the money on the day of the test after they verify your documentation not like others where you have to pay the money at the time of booking the appointment

Fantastic experience: 100% loved this experience instructor was chill didn't yell like most very clear with instructions I didn't have to ask him to repeat he was awesome!!! Whatever worries you have I promise it's really not that bad and these guys make it feel so simple to pass worth every penny I passed first try.
