Fantastic experience: Affordable and always on time.

Negative experience: AVOID. Especially if you are a teenage driver with 0 experience, even a few lessons i have not learnt how to drive properly, i went to another instructor and actually learnt. I feel that the lessons are not structured and not taught to teach you know how to drive independently. I regret wasting my money here

Fantastic experience: Golds driving school is amazing and super good at making everything feel easy and well formatted. Ask for Mohammed! he’s the absolute best; he’s very social, funny, kind and respectful.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my drivers test today! Mohammed was my instructor and really helped me feel more confident in my driving skills, he’s extremely well informed on the rules of the road, and super nice!!

Fantastic experience: i had two instructors from this driving school and they were both amazing, Shirin was very helpful and nice and helped me in multiple ways, she was my instructor for the first 2 lessons, then for my last i had a man named Mohammed who was great. he was a nice guy and a great teacher, he made me feel immensely prepared for my driving test and im proud to say i passed with no errors, thank you to both my instructors!!

Negative experience: Alex is always on his phone for the 2 hour session and doesn’t communicate well with the student. Did not take student to the freeway and did not teach how to parallel park. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! waste of your money.

Fantastic experience: I really loved my instructor Mohammed. He’s really nice and friendly person. Whenever I first started learning how to drive he would give me the best support ever while Im driving. I would get nervous so bad but he knew how to calm me down and he would always give me the best advices ever. I really recommend Gold Driving School and instructor Mohammed. By the way I passed my driving test 2 days ago and that’s all Mohammed’s work. He did so much for me

Negative experience: Instructor Alex just tells you where to turn. He’s always on the phone texting and calling the whole 2 hrs session. Very unprofessional. No structured lesson with this instructor. If you are a new driver don't waste your money. Scheduling keeps changing. Waste of time to make an appointment. I regret that we used this driving school.

Fantastic experience: This is One of the best driving school that I can recommend to everyone, specially with the Driver Alex, he teach me really well from zero and I passed my test from the first time. He is very kind and really patient. Thank you sooo much Alex you are the best

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately did not pass my test in the first try due to a very dumb mistake at the very beginning of test( I hit the curb ). The examiner didn’t let that small mistake pass which really upset me. However, this school is amazing. Alex was very patient with me . My driving was so bad in the beginning and by the 5th lesson was way better. It was a wonderful learning experience. Alex told me he didn’t like the Van Nuys dmv and now understand why. I failed and the car behind me also did the same mistake I did. I was his oldest student and felt so bad that I let him down on passing the test. He’s an amazing instructor though. He’s knowledgeable and points out your rights and wrongs. I like his positive reinforcement as well when you do stuff correctly.

Fantastic experience: I had Andy as a driver, the best car driver I’ve ever had. He’s honest, kind and effective. I passed everything first time round and I lived in London for most of my life, he was patient with me in adapting to driving in LA. This school knows how to help you drive! Thanks Andy!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been driving for many years in Australia before arriving in LA and although we we're quite experienced, we thought it would be a good idea to take some lessons to know the rules here in the US. Andy our instructor was a great teacher and taught us everything we needed to know to drive safely and confidently on the streets of LA. He made it very easy and fun and we both passed our first time. Would highly recommend Andy at Gold's driving school. Pricing was very reasonable as well!

Fantastic experience: I purchased the package with 7 hours plus use of the company's car during the DMV test. Alex was my instructor for the first session and I ended up requesting him each time because aside from being very nice, he's very knowledable about the rules of the road. He was patient with me which I appreciated since I usually started off each lesson very nervous. He calmly pointed out my mistakes and helped me understand the do's and don'ts of the actual driving exam. I passed my test on the first try so I highly recommend Alex!
