Negative experience: The instructor is rude and acts like everything he thinks is the truth and talks like he is reading a manual he is overall strict and will want you to do things not normally in the road test without telling you until the end where he will mark you down for.

Negative experience: If you see any positive reviews about this location, I encourage skepticism. I strongly advise against taking your driving test here. There are better alternatives. This site uses extremely small cones with large white poles that are difficult to see due to sunlight reflection, making the test unnecessarily challenging. During my experience, I failed twice here, then passed on my first attempt at another location two months later without additional practice. The staff here engaged in questionable practices, such as asking me to redo a parking maneuver during the test, claiming it “wouldn’t cost points,” only for it to result in failure. For instance, I completed parallel parking, albeit slightly crooked at the front. When I declined to redo it, I was still forced to and subsequently failed. The instructors were also less than courteous throughout the process. On my third attempt, I arrived early for my test and noticed a tail light issue due to a loose bulb I had replaced earlier. Before the test even began, the examiner, Ron, pointed out the issue. When I attempted to fix it, he accused me of “wasting his time” and terminated my test on the spot. My tail lights were working after the adjustment, but I was denied the opportunity to proceed and was only refunded $20 of the $60 I paid. This experience was unprofessional and frustrating. I strongly recommend finding a different testing location where fairness and professionalism are prioritized.

Fantastic experience: We Had an older gentleman administer the test. He was very calm and made my daughter feel comfortable. I like that he took her through imlay city and test in multiple situations.

Fantastic experience: Tom was the gentleman that my daughter had for her road test today. I was leery with some of the bad reviews that are on here but I am glad that we went with this company. Tom was excellent explained everything to a T to my daughter. My daughter was nervous about taking her road test but she did good, and she did pass. Tom was very professional and knew what he was talking about and my daughter was very happy that he gave her some good pointers about driving. Thank You so much. I will be going back when my son need to take his road test in a year. Also I will refer this company to anyone that needs to take their road test.

Fantastic experience: Tom is an amazing instructor, he makes sure to keep you calm at the beginning of the exam and lets you know how the exam is going to work step by step. Just a heads up make sure to look both ways when crossing at that one railroad crossing the instructor takes you through. Overall RJ services is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: We had our daughters driver's test this afternoon. What a pleasant experience. Tom did his best to ease her nerves as all young kids are nervous. He was very clear and easy to understand and direct with his instructions. Easy to talk to and had a smile the whole time. I would recommend this testing site to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend them! Made my daughter feel comfortable and explained things well. When the test was over, he even gave her some tips and explained what she needed to work on. I plan on going back in 4 years when my son begins to drive

Negative experience: I had tom. He wasn't friendly. He didn't even park correctly when coming to the location. He marked me down for not being backed up enough in the cones. I was in the lines not touching them or the cones. He didn't simplify the directions on what to do and I failed. I didn't even get to the road test. I wouldn't recommend him or come back here.

Fantastic experience: The testing instructor is a very articulate, patient mentor to new drivers. He explained everything perfectly before our teen was instructed how to traverse the road skills parking lot cone test. On the roadway, every turn, every maneuver was given plenty of time for the testing teen to traverse what they were to do with plenty of time to do it following the 'check mirrors, look over shoulders, use a blinker and proceed' actions the instructor graded on. At the end of the road test, the instructor was very clear on how the driver could improve, what our teen did well on, what to think about while driving so the new driver was aware of their surroundings. The office lady was helpful with getting us scheduled in a time and on a day that worked for us with no rushing or stress. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a testing sight for their new teen driver to do their skills and road test.

Negative experience: The instructor was rude and intimidating. Don't waste your money or time going here! What a scam, we didn't even get out of the parking lot and my student driver was failed. Of course they told her she could come back and to schedule another appointment with the secretary. Now I know why they say to pay in cash only... they take your money and run!! What a joke!

Fantastic experience: The office staff was friendly. They were flexible about setting up a day for the test.The test administrator, Ron was very calm and friendly. He explained everything well, and made me feel calm. After I passed the test, he gave me lots of great advice on how to improve my driving in the future. Would definitely recommend this testing center.

Negative experience: Me and my girlfriend went here to let her take her road test, we were told she can have 3 other people in the vehicle with her while testing. The guy we got named Tom told us I had to stand outside, while they went on a drive. It was 90 degrees outside.. When they got back I went to go inside the car, and he told me I wasn’t allowed inside. I had to worst experience here, he could’ve made me had a heat stroke. He also marked my girlfriend for not looking both ways every cross road, even though she had the right away. He marked her 3 points for not stopping at a railroad tracks, although there was no stop sign, or yield, nor were the arms coming down. Clean and clear to cross, he wanted her to come to a complete stop like a school bus, or hazardous vehicle. Overall we’re super happy she passed her test and doesn’t have to deal with this guy EVER again! Hope you guys have a better experience than I did!

Negative experience: Worse place. Instructor was very rude . Test last 3min my daughter put my car in between the cones. With out hitting any cones . He immediately failed her. I think maybe this guy was upset about something. Totally unprofessional. Will make sure any one i know WILL NOT test at this facility. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter, 3rd childperson, for her test. Great experience! First they were very kind and helpful especially with scheduling throughout this CoVid period. The tester was extremely helpful. He gave her thorough instructions and allowed her to ask questions before each section of the test as well as during. He explained anything you have questions regarding. He was very calm, friendly, and pleasant. My daughter was very nervous but his calmness and kindness calmed her nerves. After the test, he explained any mistakes and provided suggestions to help with future driving. She passed!! This is a nice location with minimal road craziness too. It was a great experience overall. Highly recommend above any other testing company.
