Fantastic experience: Steer Clear Driving School is one of the best drivings schools in New Jersey. I saw the reviews and decided to go with them, I was not disappointed at all. To start, for 6 hours of lessons to get my permit has a very reasonable pricing for 400 dollars. They kept you notified on any updates or issues that may occur which is wonderful. My instructor was a blessing. She was extremely benevolent. Helpful and supportive. Learning the basics of driving made it so much easier and more fun with the instructor I had. No questions are dumb to her. The car was kept spotless clean to ensure the driver is comfortable and able to drive. This is hands down the best driving school. I would highly recommend this school to anyone needing to get there permit or need some lessons. They have the best instructors in the area and wonderful service.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with Steer Clear Driving School. They were listed on the NJ MVC website as one of the accredited schools in my area. My driving instructor was Pete Kay. I experienced Pete to be professional, reliable, friendly, and most importantly, a highly skilled driver and instructor. His style of teaching is very effective in a way that it is not overbearing. By the time our lessons were finished, I felt completely prepared for my road test and I passed. Last but not least, in my personal opinion, their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: We chose Steer Clear Driving School for our daughter, and she was very happy with her lessons. We initially spoke with Pete, who addressed all of our inquiries and assisted in scheduling dates and times that suited both my daughter and them. Seeing that my daughter was a bit hesitant at first, we decided it would be best for her to have lessons with another female instructor, Andrea, who was incredibly kind and supportive. Both Pete and Andrea are also educators, so they are able to provide driving lessons after school hours, which was ideal for our schedule.

Andrea was fantastic and immediately put our daughter at ease, giving her the confidence to drive a wide variety of road types, from neighborhood streets up to highway driving, also learning K-turns, parallel parking, reversing etc. Couldn't have been smoother!
