Rae's Driving School: Reviews
Negative experience: website isn’t updated waited here for over an hour just to get told that it’s adults only.. while the website says otherwise. He was utterly disrespectful and told us to go to another place with no help what so ever. he smelt like alcohol. The experience had here was the worst i have ever experienced.
Negative experience: Very, very unprofessional and unorganized, I do know how this driving program is still running.
Negative experience: Told people to show up for the 8 hour class this weekend, had people waiting outside for a while before it was clear he wasnt showing up. I called to cofirm that by the way. Totally wasted every ones time. Don't go here.
Negative experience: i go here now, its pretty lazy and kinda weird. just pay for the online classes with eyes on the road, also its hella expensive when all you do is sit and watch videos no one pays attention to. the license test is 110 and it doesnt cover the cost of the license which is 95. just take it at the dmv
Negative experience: It was in I believe 2019 I took my 2 hour driving practice with Pete, back then I didn’t think to leave a review but I definitely should’ve. Driving with this man next to you is awful and gave me way more anxiety than I needed to have behind the wheel, at one point he yelled at me and said there was no way I would pass the test basically trying to destroy my confidence. As someone on the spectrum for autism this left me feeling so destroyed once I got home but I DID end up passing with flying colors and to this day I have driven well with no marks on my license. Pete may seem like a fun funny guy in the drug and alcohol but I wouldn’t ever let this man back in a car with me. My exam instructor was much more relaxed and reassuring.
Negative experience: Zero stars is what is deserved. UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL…..set up driving test nearly a month prior and upon driving test date, unable to test due to INCOMPETENCE of Rae’s Driving School….test date moved to 3 weeks later. This should NEVER happen. People have lives and this incompetence has genuinely caused serious issues in the day to day life of several individuals.
Negative experience: No respond , what’s the point of having a phone number
Negative experience: I have been trying to get a hold of anyone for the past month, I've called and left messages, emailed and even texted. horrible customer service.
Negative experience: My son took the safety class with them and I reached out multiple times to sign him up for private driving lessons as well. The first time, we talked through email and they told me to call and never returned my messages. The second time they told me to meet them for the two hour lessons and when we arrived, they were closed. I called several times and left messages but never got a response of any kind. I stopped trying and we’re going with a different place.
Fantastic experience: Great help getting the driving license, mike has a lot of experience and was just on spot with everything need for the DMV and the eight class was super helpful and full of information and experience so we did pass the test once again thank you.
Fantastic experience: All the staff and employees at rae’s are genuinely down to earth people. They all care about the kids and want to make sure they’re safe and succeed. I did my drug and alcohol test here and my driving courses. I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone, it’s much easier and less of a hassle than going to the DMV. They also provide their own car to practice with.
Negative experience: Paid for drive time… still waiting but they never answer the phone or emails! They have their money though!
Negative experience: No one pick the phone listed on the website. No paperwork was provided when the class finished, they stated that the certification was going to be sent directly to dmv and one via email to the email provided, that did not happen. Looking at the reviews they are most negative, but no one is doing anything about it. We already pass covid, theree is no reason why they don't answer the calls.
Negative experience: My son signed up for this class in 2020 thru his school (Grasso Tech). The school closed for COVID after only 5 classes and the class was never completed. We have left several messages and have there to get our money back. No one returns calls. I ended up having to pay another school to complete the process. It’s been 3 years and I still can’t get my money back. PARENTS SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
Positive experience: my first class was good but i just want someone to call me back ive called left several msgs and i haven't received one back yet
Fantastic experience: Idk how people have bad reviews about this place, the instructors were great, they picked up the phone when I called AT A REASONABLE TIME and they even got my CS1 certificate for me a day after completing the course. If you're going for a quick drug and alcohol class at a good price this is the place to go
Negative experience: They literally could not pick up their phone if there was a gun pointed to their head. Awful at their jobs. Just go to apc, eyes on the road, aaa, literally anything but this godawful place. Save yourself from the stress and money. Literally awful.
Negative experience: Had to call multiple times to even talk to someone to schedule appointments even though check was cashed very quickly. Will schedule time to meet and not show. Claimed to forget to put my kid on the schedule. Called to confirm an appointment for next day and then changed them time. Very unprofessional and overpriced given the poor customer service.
Negative experience: I payed 200 dollars two months ago and they STILL haven’t scheduled my 2 hour drive time, very unprofessional people. Save your money somewhere else.
Fantastic experience: Please don't let the negative reviews get your attention. This is the 2nd time that I've used this driving school for my daughters. Considering that this place had to close because of Covid they are handling things very well. Drug and alcohol course is held often, on the road for 2 hours will happen within a few weeks of you turning in your paperwork and a check.
Negative experience: Its so hard to make an appointment for driving lesson. Even if you email, text or call him. He wont answer at all. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Negative experience: After completing the drug and alcohol course a month ago, my husband has still not been sent the necessary paperwork. The clever instructor claimed that they "forgot to put a stamp on the enevelope". Would rate them zero stars if possible. Avoid them at all costs.
Negative experience: Honestly who is running this place? Is anyone availible... EVER??!? $200 for a driving test which only cost $75 at a dmv
Fantastic experience: I have Pete teach the 8 hour class on the weekend. He was engaging and really knowledgeable. Defiantly a great choice to go to this location.
Negative experience: Pete is amazing, but good luck making an apointment to practice driving. Been told to call back at a later time and every time i call back no one answers. been waiting 2 weeks just to make the apointment.
Fantastic experience: Pete was great, learned a lot from that class.
Fantastic experience: Did the 8 hour drug and alcohol class. Pete was my instructor, very funny upbeat guy! Makes sure you get the lesson!
