Quality Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Good school, everyone who worked here was friendly and answered the phones when I called and my questions when I had them. I have 2 more kids to put through the course. Thanks guys
Negative experience: We chose this school for its proximity, despite warnings from other parents. In 2022-2023, our first child took the course over Zoom, where the instructor was unprofessional and overly focused on her personal life. The school was somewhat disorganized, but the on-road instructors were better. With our second child nearing driving age and already having some skills, we decided to give them another chance for convenience. However, a current student mentioned being on a waitlist for over 4-months for required drives. When I called, I learned it could take up to 8 months to complete the course. Their website now states that the course duration is 6 months to a year. We withdrew our child and received a refund of our deposit.
Negative experience: Very rude and racist teacher!!!!!! Let my daughter failed the drive twice and one of the reasons was hesitant to drive after she stopped at a four-way ⛔. Never recommend this business to anybody.
Negative experience: Extremely rude driving teacher, she was standoffish and failed me just because she wanted to. She said i failed the parraell park but the person who took me to do the test said i passed perfectly, As soon as i showed up to test she was already finding reasons to fail me. go somewhere else . its wierd cuz the other ladies who work thier are extremely nice and kind, thats why i decided to go back and take the drive thier too, big mistake.
Negative experience: I drove from Warden to Richland for an appointment that they made. They didn’t show up for the drive and never answered messages or calls. Definitely stay away
Fantastic experience: Yo le pongo 5 estrellas por que las 2 chicas que me atendieron muy lindas y la maestra muy profesional por eso la recomiendo al !!!es mi punto de vista !!
Negative experience: My Google map took me to the previous location of Integrity Driving School. A sign on the door gave me the new address. I was late to the driving test because of this. The receptionist told me that if you are 5 minutes late the test is canceled. I explained my circumstance and was still denied. I found Best Driving Academy who got me in right away the same day with no problem. I asked for a refund from Integrity and was told I had to fill out a form and then after the form was reviewed by the owner I could request a refund. I will never use this school again.
Fantastic experience: This driving school has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only are they prompt in responding but they are incredibly quick to answer all questions, big or small. They value not only your time but your expirence with them. Thank you again Quality Driving school! This has been a great expirence for our family.
Fantastic experience: The instructor was friendly. My daughter enjoyed her drive.
Negative experience: School is a complete mess. Both me and my friend had issues actually getting our license. The DMV said that “they had no record of us going to driving school.” The teachers are ok, but would must rather pay the extra money for a better experience.
Negative experience: Instructors were ver unprofessional. Scheduling issues like others have mentioned. They were also rude to me over the phone and generally unpleasant. I would recommend going elsewhere. It’s staffed with a Karen.
Negative experience: Absolutley the worst! We have had nothing but issues with appropriate behavior from teachers, scheduling issues , teachers not being on time or call 15 minutes before to cancel. They will mark your kid not in class if they don’t answer a question correctly. Got to the point I sat with my son during his online class and listened in also because they tried to say he wasn’t in class and I knew he was. He did answer questions and so forth when asked. Also if your lateness and all these issues I am going to call you out after so much. The service and professionalism or lack there of is absolutely disgusting. DO NOT USE THEM. Spend the extra $100 and go somewhere else.
Fantastic experience: I went to the West Richland school back in 2019 as a 19 year old and took the classes there with Melissa. She just got a puppy that year and I was able to hold it while we learned during class. She was so kind and fun to all of us in the classroom and I could tell everyone was comfortable around her. I came back 3 years later (2022) to finish the drives with the instructor, study for the written text, and practice for the state drive test because I have been experiencing anxiety around driving and it took me getting therapy to finish drivers ed. I’ve always had a fear of driving and needed a break to cope with the anxiety symptoms. When I came back, they instantly remembered me and were so understanding to me and my fear of driving. They didn’t judge me one bit and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and at ease around them and while I was driving. At the beginning of my drives with them, they would go over breathing exercises and would reassure me that I could do it. Jodi and Melissa were so compassionate and I could tell that they genuinely cared about me (and I noticed other students too). If there are any parents who worry about their children’s mental health & wellbeing, these people are not only safe to be around but they understand the importance of mental safety because the husband of Jodi (the woman who owns the building) is a counselor and is trained in mental health. Melissa also told me that she struggles with her own mental health and makes it her mission to be empathetic to young people who are going through their own struggles. I can’t recommend them more. They really were the sweetest people to me and made my experience there so easy going. Thank you Quality Driving School for all that you do. And thank you for helping me get my drivers license despite all of the anxiety issues along the way. ❤️
Fantastic experience: This place is an incredible driving experience, did I learn to drive? Kinda. But more importantly, did Alan teach me how to say f you in Italian? Yes! Thanks Alan, you are a real one. You will have a fun story after coming here, guaranteed.
Fantastic experience: Excellent
Negative experience: While on my drivers test the teacher grabbed my face and told me to look the other way and yelled at me but didn’t really tell me what I did wrong.
Negative experience: Well as for learning it was a failure, because I was doing it online (due to covid) she didn't really teach anything memorable, just notes and videos (which she put a piece of paper on the screen or just showed us another screen) in all I learned everything from the online tests and not really much from the actual class As for driving well The first guy I got put with was really good at teaching me and not stressing me out (I am a nervous driver because of a past experience), he broke his wrist and had to stay home, so I was put with another guy and all he would do was stress me out because I was taking too long to turn or I was taking my time slowing down. He also told me everything bad that I did and kept going on about how I HAD to pass the test first try. It got to the point were I wanted to just die and be done with it but I managed to overcome it, just be careful when choosing who you want to work with and what might happen.
Fantastic experience: its a good place to help our kids learn driving.
Fantastic experience: Very nice people
Negative experience: my friend drew said he was scared by something inappropriate the instructor told him
Fantastic experience: They are just a really good school and it is fun and easy to learn
Fantastic experience: Good instructors, curriculum could use work, but still teaches everything you need to know. Overall excellent school. Edit: I wanted to note, there's nothing the instructors can do about the curriculum, it's given to them to teach
Fantastic experience: This driving school is pretty litt,Melissas dope af and gives dum dums and Allen blows up balloons during drives and makes the class very interesting 10/10
Fantastic experience: Taught everything I needed to know.
Fantastic experience: It was lots of fun I think the tried making drivers ed fun but had some boring parts. Intructer has story time every so often.
Fantastic experience: mellisas a chill asss teacher. gives dum dums and actually teaches 11-30-17
Positive experience: Good school. Learned what I needed to with no studying. 4 stars because one of the teachers made the class watch some “butter lettuce” video and I only got 2 dum dums even though I answered 4 questions. Eric overstated the freedom of dum dums. More dum dums=5 stars
Fantastic experience: These guys have bent over backwards to help my child finish all of the requirements and get his license. They were very accommodating and were extremely kind about it. All three of my sons now have taken drivers training here and I really like how close they are to our home here in WR. It makes for a quick drop off and pick up. All three of my sons have learned everything they needed to know and are good drivers now.
Negative experience: I sent my daughter to Quality Driving School in West Richland due to the proximity to our house. As a bonus, it was less expensive than others. I should have gone with my gut instincts. First, the woman who was either the owner or the manager, seemed very disorganized. Second, the building was filthy along with the bathroom. I understand that it is an older facility, but that doesn't mean that cleaning should be avoided. I disregarded my gut instinct in favor of convenience. That was an unfortunate mistake. My daughter ended up passing and receiving her license despite the lack of quality teaching. First, she was never given a book. Books were provided in class but were not allowed to be taken from the classroom to study. We ended up going down to the DMV ourselves to pickup a FREE book. Regardless of lack of Quality teaching, they created an UNSAFE environment for the students. 1. The teacher brought a large knife to class which he sharpened in view of the students during class. 2. The teacher allowed a student to light and play with a lighter in class. When my daughter objected, he brought out his own lighter to show her. 3. The teacher wouldn't allow students to leave until they finished watching YouTube videos that had nothing to do with driving. I have a son who needs to attend driving school this summer. I will not be taking my son to "Quality" Driving School. I will opt to be inconvenienced by driving into Richland rather than subject him to a subpar and unsafe environment.
Negative experience: Worst school ever!!!!! They screwed me over so bad!!!
Negative experience: My daughter didn't pass her driving test. That's not the issue though. Her treatment upon not passing was wrong! She was in tears, not because she didn't pass but because of how rude the tester was to her. Now even that, in and of itself I would try to teach my child tolerance if rude people but THEN he talks to his class and uses her as an example AND uses her full name. She had friends in that class who told her that he used her as an example in class if what not do do. THAT is unprofessional and intolerable. I would never recommend this kid of behavior to anyone he's child.
Fantastic experience: Great teacher
Positive experience: Pros; Cheaper than all the rest. Good location. Paul was the best instructor ever!!! I honestly miss coming to class was so fun! Cons; I got fined for missing a drive. Could of drove a more interesting car:(.
Negative experience: Waste of money and waste of time, didn't learn anything! Instructor was rude and completely unreliable, all he ever wanted to talk about was drug and how to make them. I learned more from my dad then I ever did at this school. They constantly made mistakes when I booked drives, They canceled on me 6 time in a row!! And they did the same things to my sister and my friend. Go somewhere else if you want to really learn how to drive.
