Fantastic experience: Today was my last day of my 3-Day driving session. I had awaited this day not to rush myself and be done & over with it, but to leave a fantastic review. Flint genuinely has THE BEST, NICEST, and organized staff ever. Kasey is the sweetest, and so my instructor. Never ever did I want to drive before this due to major anxiety, but now I am more than excited to be on the road. Fantastic experience: They were extremely accommodating to scheduling lessons in short time notice, and assisting me in last minute changes/ cancellation + refund when my daughter got sick. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Flint Driving School! My instructor was Pat and he taught me how to drive in the most simplest way, he also knew what to do to keep me calm, and had a great personality! You don't have to prepay, just book your lesson, they show up at your door, you pay them by cash/card(extremely convenient) and you start driving! Completely seamless. I was very nervous for my driving test but I passed with flying colors thanks to Pat!!!!

Fantastic experience: Can't even begin to say how awesome this place is! Everyone is so friendly & quick to get back to you about any question you can imagine. They work around your school/work schedule and you can either pay as you go or pay in full (I did the adult package) As an adult I was so nervous to start driving but both Pat & Ken make you feel so comfortable that driving almost comes natural to you after 10 mins of your first lesson! And I got my license on my first try! As long as you soak in the information that they give you & you pay close attention and have the motivation to get your license, you WILL succeed. I'm so glad I chose this company and will continue to refer my friends & family to them! Thank you guys for everything!!

Fantastic experience: As an adult, that hadn't driven in about 10 years, I was beyond happy with the service of Flint Driving School and Instructor Ken! Ken kept me informed and relaxed. Fantastic experience: Pat and Ken were phenomenal instructors. They always made sure I was confident and comfortable driving during my lesson. They provide helpful tips that I still use to this day. Fantastic experience: I have always had the biggest fear of driving. I’ve obtained my permit 4 times, always getting way to anxious to leave a parking lot with friends and family. I decided it was time to get serious and reach out to flint driving school for the adult lesson plan. The first day I was driving in the street, by the second I wasn’t nervous. My instructor was nice, professional and gave me all the knowledge I needed to be a confident driver. After 6 lessons, I was able to obtain my drivers license and feel comfortable safely driving on the road. The only negative thing I can say is he taught me how to parallel park a little too great and that has given me a big head. I can’t go without saying how great I am at parking LOL! Negative experience: I paid 300 dollars for the Adult Road Lesson package and was told we could use the company car for the day of the road test only to be told we can't after we did the road lessons and had the road test booked. Claimed it was a "broken link" in their website and we should have clarified before hand.

Thanks for taking the time and leaving us your feedback but please help me understand the issue a little more. Who told you that we would provide a vehicle to use on the road test? We haven't provided that service since June of 2020 when the RMV resumed their road testing program and started utilizing DOT vehicles. They will continue to utilize DOT vehicles until January 3rd, 2022.
Our website, http://flintdrivingschool.com/adultroadlessons, clearly states what is included in the adult package and it does not mention anything about road test sponsorship so I'm just trying to understand where you got the idea from that you could utilize our cars on the road test.

Fantastic experience: Chak is truly office manager extraordinaire! When I had to transfer from another school that was overbooked, Chak agreed to accept us into the program. We corresponded in the middle of the night by email and had my son registered before sunrise. All the lessons were scheduled before my son's half birthday. Ken is a veritable expert. Even though Flint is in Fall River, he drove to New Bedford. He gave tips on the road test and all the points needed to pass. Chak saved the day by sending the material to RMV the next business day. He also told us that there are only 8 RMVs that are offering road tests, despite what is written on the website. We drove to Pittsfield and received a license a week after lessons. All gratitude goes to the efficient and expertise of the Flint Driving School. I just wish I had more kids to send to them!
Negative experience: I had pat and he was terrible he was so rude and always had an attitude but on a positive note I also had Ken and he was great

All joking aside, thank you very much for taking the time and composing this review, we appreciate your business and wholeheartedly respect all reviews but let me clarify your statement for the reader.
You attended driver's education where Ken was the instructor in the classroom and ALL of your behind the wheel training was done with Pat. Pat has trained over 1,000 students and let me guess, you passed your road test on the first attempt did you not?
I apologize if Pat's demeanor was perceived as rude but you have to understand, there are certain guidelines that make the entire experience more enjoyable for both the student and the teacher. I'm more than certain he may have harped on you for being tardy or not having the required documentation ready for each training session but in hindsight, hopefully it raised your awareness on the importance of preparedness.
What you needed to hear and what Pat gave you was constructive criticism. Too many students (and even adults) have been habituated to think that criticism is a hindrance to their growth when in actuality, viewing criticisms in that manner IS the hindrance. With contracted awareness, perception becomes cloudy and one may miss the golden nugget that lies at the heart of every situation.
Lao Tzu once said, "When the student is ready the teacher will appear. When the student is truly ready...the teacher will disappear." Even Jesus has much to learn...God speed my friend and keep the rubber side down.

Fantastic experience: Flint helped my son when his previous driving school was overbooked with road lessons due to COVID. I had my money refunded from previous school for road lessons and Flint picked up where the previous school left off. They sent an entire schedule for my sons required lessons which was amazing as he could schedule his work around the lessons. My son liked the two instructors he had. Any questions I had were immediately answered by the owner of Flint. We are extremely thankful to Flint as they were extremely professional ans responsive. My son passed his test, a credit to Flint.
Negative experience: place is a train wreck

Flint Driving School is certified to provide passenger vehicle training (Class d) in the commonwealth of Massachusetts so there are no trains involve (see what I did there - it's a play off your review).

Fantastic experience: I was struggling learning how to park and know what way the wheel is turned and Pat was my teacher he helped me so much I only got two lessons from him but I learned so much in the two hours with him. Today I went for my driving test and passed with in 5 mins! Thank you Pat!
Negative experience: I signed up and paid for 2 minors to attend. 1st started ok, the school messed up on the 2nd, they even admitted to messing up. When I questioned their business practices they removed both students and only reimbursed half my money. Currently filing a complaint with bbb.
Hi Melissa, It's not human nature to remain objective when we peer at reality with our subjective mind so we thank you for your feedback but as we stated in our email conversation - "we understand your frustrations with this mistake, there's no malicious intent to rip anyone off or screw anyone over." We couldn't allow anymore people in the class because of RMV mandated capacity restrictions and we didn't removed the students because you questioned our business practices, we provided a refund based on the statements you made in your email as seen below:
" I've spent over $1700 in the last 2 months at this school and I still have more children to sign up, needless to say you will not be on that list. Not only did you screw me with Student B class but I paid for the upgraded package for him and the student that already took the class only to learn that it was a waste of $, the compensation for what you can't complete is not worth the extra $ it is a total rip-off and I am completely disgusted with your business practices. .............................. It's greedy mf's like you that completely destroy my faith in humanity and make the saying "we're all in this together" a complete joke. "
What business practice are you questioning specifically, the practice of listing exactly what is included in each packages or the practice of indicating exactly how much things cost to the dollar? We provided a full refund for student B and provided partial refund to student A who already completed classes and parent class. As we stated in the email, best wishes to you and your family and we appreciate the opportunity to work with you this far.

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school for anyone looking to start driving and pass their road test. Pat is a great instructor, patient with students, friendly, and teaches you everything you need to know in the most effective manner. I've been afraid of driving for years but was able to overcome it and pass my test thanks to his lessons. I can't recommend this school enough!

Fantastic experience: 5+ Stars definitely! I originally did my 30-hour classes and started driving lessons with A&M but it is so unprofessional there and the instructor I had was always having an awful attitude. It was so hard to learn driving for the first time ever. I have done about 12+ lessons and took my road test once and PASSED, and I am telling you, you will NOT regret coming here or sending your children here !! Flint will go above and beyond for you to get you where you need to be. Patient, and will make sure to target what you need extra help with. Thank you so much for everything !!!

Fantastic experience: When I tell you this is the best driving school. It’s an understatement of just how amazing they are. I relocated here from SC and was so nervous taking the test. I booked the one with the 1 hr warm up. Driver was early, very pleasant, and taught me anything I was lacking. He put me completely at ease and is a great instructor. Took the road test and passed. I recommend this driving school to any and everyone. When my lol cousin moves up here in the next two months this is the driving school he will be attending. I am not a licensed driver yayyy!!!

Fantastic experience: Flint driving school was just what my son needed to help him pass his drivers license road test. Such great instruction. In less than 10 minutes the Flint instructor was able assess my sons areas that needed to be worked on, and provided the proper instruction for him to succeed with the road test. I highly recommend Flint Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend to anyone older that has not driven in years and is trying to get their license again to use Flint Driving School's warm up program. This program is well worth the time and money. Without it I would not have passed my test. PLEASE ANYONE OLDER USE THIS PROGRAM YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.... To the owners of the school: Patrick is so good at his job. Patrick kept me calm through the warm up and just before my test, he is the best. To: Patrick Thank you again for all your help I could not have done it with out your help.
Negative experience: Called and emailed, all we get is a text response saying keep trying? Nobody called us back, you would figure they would want business but it seems like they can't be bothered. We will look else ware for a driving school.
Thank you for your feedback but we can't find any voicemails or emails with your contact information. It's illegal to use our phone while we're in the car with a student so we apologize if we didn't get back to you in a timely fashion. Unlike others who are willing to use their phone while instructing a student and put themselves and the student at risk, you won't catch us doing that anytime soon. Best of luck in you search for a driving school.
Fantastic experience: Revamped locations in Fall River and Swansea. New vehicles and a staff of all new dedicated instructors run a great professional school! Kids all love it and the old owner the crazy lady is long gone!
