Fantastic experience: I decided to take my test at Merkley’s, and I’m so glad I did. Even though I had to use their car, the entire process felt calmer and more supportive. Sean, my examiner, was incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring. I was so nervous I was shaking, but his calm demeanor helped me stay focused. I passed and finally feel like a weight has been lifted. Thank you, Merkley’s and Sean, for turning such a stressful experience into a positive and affirming one. I’m truly grateful!

Fantastic experience: Instructors are great and their process is simple once you get logged in and get your bearings. The cars are all in new condition. We had an email issue receiving the drive test approval email. It was Friday and on Saturday morning it hadn't come through. I emailed and Ashley not only responded, she sent me the approval so my daughter can drive this weekend! Great customer service. We really appreciate that she can drive this first weekend. It's an exciting time for her. Thank you Merkley's, great job!

Negative experience: I wouldn’t trust this place to teach driving based on my interaction with one of their drivers today. The car turned right on red into oncoming traffic. Slowed down to my same speed and tried to get over into my lane. They were apparently upset that I didn’t slam on my brakes to let them over and they proceeded to road rage and honk at me for simply driving and following right of way. Whether it was a student who was poorly instructed or an instructor, it was enough evidence for me to steer clear of the school.

Positive experience: Got everything done just fine. Ryan was great in the classroom, and Alicia made the drive times easy!10/10 Tyler drove me 10 minutes to my home breaking the speed limit. 60 on a 45 mph road! 0/10 Safe driving everybody.

Fantastic experience: My daughter, Gracie, is a driving student through Merkley's. Last night, she was hit by another driver during her lesson! (I'm shocked it wasn't her fault too. lol) Ashley made it to the wreck before I did and kept everyone calm and safe. Taught my daughter how to deal with a wreck, the police officers, and reassured her that she was completely not at fault. Honestly, while an accident is not something you wish your child ever goes through, I was incredibly happy to have a professional help Gracie through a traumatic experience. Ashley has continued to check on Gracie and I recommend Merkley's to everyone! I am very impressed with the love and care for their students.

Positive experience: I have never used this service. However whoever the driver is that was driving the black Honda civic 4 door with the tag that ends in 620 needs driving lessons. Cutting me off on Wiltshire Blvd. Then running the red light which led to speeding up and cutting off another driver in front of the Hertz building. There was no student in the car. There was only one person in the vehicle.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just went there yesterday(July 11, 2024) and completed her 2 day course and will be doing her driving. She passed yesterday with a 100!!! She said Scott Merkley and Ryan Merkley were amazing and made it fun and engaging. Great place.

Fantastic experience: Teenagers and driving can be scary and hectic and not a pleasant experience. We got ourselves into a bit of a situation at the tag agency in the process of licensing, and suddenly there was a voice of a teenager, that said, "Its so much easier if you go to Merkley's". We found our way there in the middle of a nightmare of a day and my kid was beyond defeated at the process. All I can say is that I know we were in the right places at the right time that would have led us there. Thank you ladies for being "stand-in-big-sisters" in a situation where I needed a village. It is well worth doing things the family owned way! EVEN IF YOU ONLY NEED THE LICENSE, IT IS WORTH SKIPPING THE TAG AGENCY! I had no idea that we had options, so I hope that WORD GETS OUT! Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would. GREAT EXPERIENCE! I did the 45 min practice then did the driving test right after and I passed! I enjoyed the help the instructor Sean gave me. He was very kind and encouraging. I recommend anyone if you’re contemplating on where to go just go here!

Fantastic experience: We used Merkley's for our son to take his Driving Test. We also did the 45 minute practice driving - worth the $$! He passed first time and the process was seamless! Thank you Merkley's! We will use you again in a couple of years for our next kiddo!

Fantastic experience: Definitely worth paying for the test here over taking the day off to go to DPS and waiting forever. I was failed on my first test, rightfully, and passed on my retest, rightfully. After my fail they told me what I needed to do different to pass and when I went back asked me if I had any questions. The entire process was very easy and Ryan in particular had great people skills and made me feel very at ease. And all on a Saturday with a set appointment time!

Fantastic experience: The folks at Merckley’s were awesome to work with from the first phone call to the drive test. Ryan was awesome and made my daughter feel so at ease before and after the test. I highly recommend using Merckley’s. We will be back in 3 years with my son!

Positive experience: I remember way back in the 1960s, when they used to teach driver's ed in public schools. But with the decreasing funding, school after school has dropped the program. That's why these driving schools are essential. If you want your child to learn how to drive safely, and how to understand and follow all the driving rules, you need some place like this to teach them. Because believe me, you've picked up some pretty bad habits over the years that you don't want them to follow.
