Fantastic experience: I recently completed my training at Right-Way Transportation Academy (Kelso location), and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. The instructors, Kevin and Joeley, were amazing and taught me everything I needed to pass my driving test on the first try. Kevin has a lot of experience and is an instructor at heart – generous with what he knows, approachable, and available. Joeley was patient and encouraging, and her calm demeanor took away a lot of the stress one experiences on the road when driving for the first time. Prior to joining Right-Way Transportation Academy, I tried two other schools in Vancouver and Portland, and the class size, quality of instruction, and patience in the learning process differed a lot! In addition to my CDL, I also got a certificate in brakes adjustment, which Kevin generously offered to all students without additional cost. The administrative part, handled by Angela, was seamless, from the first enrollment call to the last ceremony of completion (Yes! There is a ceremony followed by a lunch at a nice restaurant!), it was top-notch. The tuition fees are competitive and offer great value for the quality of training provided. This school helped me a lot and I recommend to anyone looking for a good school that prepares you not only for your exam, but also to be a safe driver on the road.

Fantastic experience: I needed to get my 5th wheel restriction removed. I called other schools and they wanted me to go through the full 4 week class and pay tons of money for something I already knew. When I called Kevin, he was very happy and motivated to help me accomplish my goal. He made time for me to come and spend the day practicing my skills, 1 week later I was testing and passed. Instead of charging me a full tuition he was able to do a daily rate which for me was exactly what I needed. Kevin, Angela, and Tracy were all so kind, willing, and down to earth knowledgeable people. I fully recommend this academy for all your CDL needs!

Fantastic experience: I recently attended, graduated, and got my class B CDL. I would definitely recommend going to that school, and I did recommend it to another employee at my company. All the instructors are awesome. They’re very helpful and will make sure you understand what they’re teaching you. They make sure that you’re ready to take and pass your skills test easily. They definitely take extra time to listen and help if there’s areas where student's are struggling or need extra time. I’d definitely say they go above and beyond just the bare minimum to get people graduated and send them on their way.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a school that helps you in every aspect of obtaining your CDL, this is the school for you. They keep a very open line of communication with students and are very accommodating with helping you achieve your goals. Their motto is "Train hard, test easy" and they live up to it. You will start with 35 chaptes of book work, a few videos and then it's training training training. They even helped me personally with job placement. Kevin, the chief instructor is very knowledgeable and has been in the trucking industry for many years, and can help with any situation that you may you might have questions about.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this school. The staff and curriculum are top-notch, the owner is highly involved and will do everything in his power to prepare his students for success. I was not only able to earn my Class A CDL but additionally the passenger endorsement in just under 5 weeks, including testing. I passed both tests on my first attempts. Their stellar success rate and reputation are a well deserved result of the quality of instruction they provide.

Fantastic experience: This school is great! They have your best interests at mind. If you need help the teachers are willing to come in in their days off to help. They have multiple kinds of trucks and vehicles to train in and are very good at training. They have snacks out every day. Water and shade for when you are in the yard. And they are there with you till you pass the test. They say train hard test easy and they mean it. My test was very easy because of them. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I attended the school and when I attended I had no experience with driving a commercial vehicle no experience with a trailer. And I loved how they didn't treat anybody different depending on if they had experience or didn't have any experience they treated everybody equally in the same. Kevin and his entire staff are amazing people and they will do whatever they need to do to make sure that you have the experience and the knowledge to pass any CDL test. They give so much extra time if it's needed, they care so much about what they do, and that you are confident and you can do it. Fantastic experience: Class was great. The training they give you was top notch. They give you lots of time in the truck. If it was on the road training, to around the lot, pretrip and backing. The staff takes you into consideration to find what you need to succeed. Your not treated like a number. The train hard pass easy motto they use definetly helped to passing my test on the first try. The many instructors keeps your classes small to give you that one on one training you need. All the pretrip videos are made for the truck your testing in which helps you pass the pretrip. Definetly would highly recommend this school to anyone getting their cdl.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this company to provide training for commercial drivers' license, motorcycle license & pilot license training. I enjoyed learning from all the teachers and appreciated their training style. They went above and beyond to accommodate the students by providing refreshments, snacks and even meals! They taught real life techniques as well as what was required for testing. I felt welcomed and always assured that they would be with me until I got my Class A license and even after. They are an amazing group of people. The DOL tester did a great job too, making a nerve racking experience pleasant. My fellow students provided me support, encouragement and entertainment that I truly appreciated. I am thankful for this experience and will miss visiting them!

Fantastic experience: The school was great, very helpful and reasonably priced. They have quite a few trucks and a large area to practice driving in. They had a very friendly and helpful staff that seem to really care about their students and their experience. They helped me get my doubles and triples and tankers endorsements along with my class A license. If you’re looking for a school I would say that this school was 100% worth it.

Fantastic experience: When I started looking for a CDL school, I was looking for something smaller that could give me more one on one experience. This was exactly what I was looking for, great instructor that has years of experience in the business, always taking extra time to make sure you get the information and that it will stick. The head instructor is super passionate about getting good truck drivers on the road, and have them ready to work, not just pass the state test, you'll learn more than just the basics on making the go forward, backward, left, and right. Different trucks that you'll be driving on to get real world experience, and you'll pretty much be in the truck right after the first week of in classroom, till the graduation day. So no worries about getting time behind the wheel. If you're looking for a school that will teach old school trucking, but new world practices and safety, and feeling confident going into the industry, look no further. Fantastic experience: I did it! I graduated truck driving school for my class A CDL. Next I take my test in about a week and a half to get my license. But I feel very confident that I will be successful in my test with what I have learned from this school. I am so glad I went to this school. It was an awesome experience with great instructors and a small class. They taught me so much and I learned so much in a short period of time. I know they didn't intend for it with the name right-way CDL academy but they really teach you the right way. They go out of there way for you and do what ever it takes to make sure you are successful. Would very much highly recommend this school too anyone who wants to get their CDL.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Right-way while getting my CDL has been the best! Kevin truly cares about his students and does his best to help everyone succeed! Old school true truck driving training while still making sure us students understand modern safety! Highly recommend! Update: A week after passing my drive test I got a job hauling cars with United Road. I have already used the training I have received from Right way CDL in real world situations and im looking forward to the future of driving truck and hauling cars!

Fantastic experience: This school is great. I pursued the CDL Class A course, and I was very satisfied with the program overall. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn how to drive a Commercial Motor Vehicle time and time again. Kevin and Angela are great people. They want to make sure that you completely understand the material that they are teaching, and they will work with you until you get it right. They pride themselves in creating safe, efficient, and knowledgeable truck drivers. I am so grateful and appreciative of this school. I mean, my commute was 65 miles one way, but I didn’t care. There were a few schools closer to me, but I chose this one because after talking with Kevin, I knew that other schools just couldn’t compare. I say this because Kevin has an exceptional teaching approach. He remains calm, cool and collected, and he won’t ever allow you to do something that he doesn’t think you are ready for. He will progressively take your confidence level way up. Secondly, He is always trying to maximize efficiency. He does his best to make sure that no one is standing around waiting. When it’s time to drive the trucks, we drive the trucks all day. The student to instructor ratio perfect. Needless to say, we were very busy driving and practicing, and had very little downtime. I have heard many stories of other people that went to surrounding schools, and I am counting my blessings that I attended this school. Choose Right Way CDL. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Let me tell you something about my experience at Right-way CDL academy LLC. 1. I’m a guy who has major classroom anxiety. I went to another local school in the area a few years back and things didn’t work out well for me. My anxiety made it so I couldn’t finish the class. Well I waited a few years to try again. Time passes by and I decide it’s time to try again. I do the good old google search CDL schools near me. And this place pops up not many reviews. I decide to give a call and little did I know a few weeks later I was in class. 2. The class rooms are smaller so your not just there with 29 other students not learning a thing. It’s 1 instructor to a ratio of 3 students. Kevin is a great guy and his wife are some amazing down to earth people. Truthfully I’m sad class wasn’t longer . When I got there I could kinda drive a semi truck. I got a few weeks of experience beforehand because I hired on to a company that was willing to put me threw school. I wasn’t the best at upshifting or down shifting and didn’t have the best confidence in what I was doing Kevin is super calm, cool and honestly isn’t your typical instructor his mission is to teach you not just pass you threw like other places do. First week was all class time…. Yeah the boring book part. Typical school thoughts run threw your head… just the books and packets. then Angela “Kevin’s wife” the class teacher is just as cool as kevin literally two souls ment to be she made class a great learning experience willing to have fun but still maintain seriousness about the trucking world. She keeps the class moving so the first week just flys by… 2nd week we started driving a bus. At first I kinda thought it was weird but it has its purpose for what your getting ready to learn and that’s how big your gunna be while driving a semi truck. It was weird but it clicks into your mind and sticks. Started to get into the semi trucks also by the end of the 2nd week. 3rd week is in and you realize how much you have picked up from schooling and your noticing how your skills are improving and your confidence is growing your driving around town and other areas like the highway/freeway your getting better at your pretrip day by day and building up more skills and your thinking man next week is the end of class 4th week your driving around and literally practicing everything all day and feeling so much better about your skills. Kevin and Angela help strengthen you up for that last part that is coming up the final classroom test. You should pass with ease if your paying attention then you have to practice and have self motivation to study extra hard while waiting for the final test with the DOL testing guy. Will post a follow update for when my test comes up in a few more days I’d take this class again 100% This school is growing and onto major things that I hope let them stay around for many years to come. With this school I didn’t feel like I was just a pawn on a chess board I felt genuine care about safety of the new drivers coming to the road. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend these guys more! I knew absolutely nothing about truck driving (never even been in one). I got to drive multiple rigs and driving a semi is second nature to me now. Between having a small class and two great instructors we were able to learn so much more than just basic truck driving. 10/10 really great experience!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my experience at Right-Way. The instructor has done his best to equip us with things he saw lacking in some other CDL schools. He has a very wide range of experience in truck driving for 20 some years, PLUS a lot of training experience, and can give you lots of sound advice. I recommend them.
