A Ok Driving School

Negative experience: I would not recommend. But unsure if Abilene has another drivers school as it use to. They charge too much for the services. If i am payimg almost 500 dollars why am I needing to do driving hours with my child, i remember when the driving school provided all that. Why is my child still needing to do a drivers test at the DPS office instead of just going and taking the written portion. I went to pay the final payment and they had lost my daughters certificate and i had to wait while they slowly figured out how to print another one. Maybe its time to close down or give to a younger generation. If you are providing the bare min for these students the price should be half of what they charge. You are better off teaching your child to drive then just following the rest of the steps through the DPS office. What if parents dont have a car? As i said I would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: We had a terrific experience with Ronnie and the A Ok team. We were able to do our driving tests quickly, and my wife and I would recommend to anyone needing friendly, skilled and experienced driving instruction.

Fantastic experience: A Ok driving school is an excellent business! Went to the Dps and the wait was going to be over a month long for a driving test. A Ok said to come on in so they could look at the paperwork and help. They helped get everything in order and let us know what needed to be done and got us in for a road driving test 2 days later. This business will go above and beyond and are very knowledgeable in what they do!

Fantastic experience: I took my wife here for her driver's license exam and her experience was wonderful. Great service. If you're looking for a place to stay, I 100% recommend this place. It doesn't matter if your English isn't good, they treat you super well here.

Negative experience: This was worst experience on my life with this school I was doing great they don't lemme pass and they was trying just to keep me there and paying 74$ and after went to dmv and I did fine and I passed on my friend time .

Fantastic experience: This is the absolute BEST place to get you permit/license. The environment is nice. The people are nice. I really enjoyed this driver instructor named Ronnie. He was really patient and fun!

He is clear and detailed about what he expects and made me feel super comfortable in my driving ability after my lessons. Fantastic experience: We currently have our second child in A-Ok and a third will be starting this summer. We have nothing but positive things to say! From the ladies in the office to the driving instructors! Everyone has been great when we gad to change a drive time or if a kiddo was sick. Our daughter passed her written exam after only her third day and I applaud A-OK on her achieving that! Rodney is an awesome instructor and very knowledgeable and patient and I’m 100% confident that my daughter will be ready for the open road between A-OK and the time I spend with her driving. Thank you A-Ok!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter attends college here in Abilene and is taking classes here and not only was the staff accommodating in getting us scheduled but when we arrived Ronnie gave us an amazing welcome, spoke to us about the program, and has been the best driving instructor for our daughter. We cannot thank him enough and we would recommend this school to anyone. Thank you so much Ronnie and AOk driving school.

Negative experience: Got done with the classes but it’s taken me 6 months to Barley even have 4 drive times when I need 7 I’m disappointed and it’s honestly a waste of time and money!

Negative experience: Warning! You cannot ever schedule drive times. They never have openings. I wouldn't waste your money on this place. They do not offer any customer service and blame you for their inability to provide you the service you pay for. Beware. Scam!

Negative experience: This school sucks!! They Nver have drive time available they will cancel drive time and not have any times open to reschedule drive time so then tht pushes back your child getting their license so you pay all this money for nothing.. but as soon as ur child misses a drive time due to illness or parent had to work they charge you 100.00 FYI the old new lady that took over is very rude and will try to keep adding fees after you have paid for the course in full.. so at the end she will not release them to get their license until you give her more money which is B.S my son missed one drive time and she charged him 100 bucks but then they canceled on him two times and pushed back his drive time for months due to no openings but still added fees on him... so backwards

Fantastic experience: This school is fantastic! The classroom instruction is very entertaining and the instructors are all very nice and fun. The ladies in the office are also very helpful when you call in helping you get your drive times scheduled. I would recommend this school to anyone!

Negative experience: Impossible to get in to drive before deadline!! Too many kids and short staffed. My child has yet to drive and running out of time!!

Negative experience: 5/27/2016. A OK Driving school car is going east on Antilley Rd and pulls into the intersection at Buffalo Gap Rd & Antilley Rd and stops to wait to turn left (violation of Sec. 545.302.3). Now the light is red and the A OK car proceeds to make a left turn (violation of Sec. 544.007.d). What is this school teaching?

Negative experience: Shame on you A OK Driving School for treating my daughter so badly on her FIRST time driving that she was BAWLING, she was so humiliated.
