Negative experience: I took the online defense driving course via zoom (live). After signing up for my two day night course from 6-9pm. I had difficulty receiving my zoom link for the class prior to taking it the same day. Ash was a great help and was able to make sure I got the zoom link for that class. Then I had trouble logging into my student portal to fill out paperwork prior to my zoom class. Lucky it all worked out and I received my certificate, but it was a hassle. The online instructor Kelly was strict at first, sped through the PowerPoint slides quickly, and didn’t really make sure his students were learning.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular group! All team members were very knowledgeable, professional, patient, helpful and guided me towards the whole process of this course. I am encouraged to refresh this course again in 3 years. The information contained in it is invaluable. Thank you kindly!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a good driving school, this is it. I had a very good experience with customer service when anything needed to be booked or changed, and they were really quick to help me! The instructors are great and get you to be comfortably driving within the first few lessons (the lessons are 2 hours each, so you get lots and lots of practice). Mr. Hodge/Ash was my instructor and was extremely helpful and had me well prepared for my road test that I ended up passing. Overall, it’s a great school to get started with and I highly recommend.

Negative experience: I completed an online defensive driving course here via Zoom. At the end of the day, I passed the exam and received my certificate so I still awarded 2 stars for at least providing the service that was paid for. The missing 3 stars is for the fact that the process was a mess from start to finish. There is clearly some severe organizational issues at this company. I should have known there would be issues when it took me several days of trying to even schedule the course. The online platform kept rejecting my order. I sent a text to their hotline and there was no response. Leading up to the session, we were sent several emails with outdated and incorrect information. On the day of the course, the instructor had the wrong zoom link and started the class late. Then he seemed unsure how to screen share the material. It would be expected that the instructor of the course would know how to use the platform they are hosting it on. At the end of the course, none of us had access to the final exam (which is required to receive the certificate). When one of the other participants called about this, the office did not answer and they could not leave a voicemail due to the inbox being full. The office was finally contacted and the office manager did not know how to fix our exam access. It was eventually fixed, but you would think procedures like this would be seamless for a company that hosts these courses multiple times a week. When we finally took the exam, there were several confusing questions and spelling errors. Additionally, the instructor was unprofessional and a poor teacher. He took phone calls during the session and his phone kept going off while teaching. He also spoke to us quite aggressively and created an uncomfortable learning environment. The biggest issue was that he went extremely fast during the lessons in order to give us longer breaks. While I appreciated the breaks during an all-day class, the pacing meant that I was unable to absorb the majority of the information. This made the already confusing exam even more difficult as I was unable to take good notes. While I received what I came to the course to accomplish, it was a messy experience. I will never use or recommend this company again.

Fantastic experience: I took driving lessons from Guled Ahmed. He is excellent. Teaches the minute details of driving. He is very patient. I would definitely recommend to take classes from him. I would rate him 5/5

Fantastic experience: I drove with instructor Vyvyana and she was incredibly helpful. She taught me an easy and effective way to execute a reverse park and parallel park. She also had a great personality and was super supportive and encouraging. My driving is much better thanks to her and I would definitely recommend driving with her :)

I had about 7 lessons with Instructor Guled. He gave great instruction and instilled confidence in me as a driver. I would highly recommend him if you are considering taking driving lessons with 1ACT!

Fantastic experience: I am blown away at how professional and nice everyone is here. Everything is so easy to use, had to change my address for a pickup and it took less than a minute. Anytime I had questions when I called the people on the phone were incredibly nice and answered all my questions. They sent reminder emails, and even detailed progress reports after each lesson. I did a lot of research with other driver Ed companies and I am so glad I went with 1 act. Yvette was my instructor and she was super nice. I recommend 1 act to anyone who is looking for a drivers Ed company.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with 1Act Driving School! Everyone was friendly and very helpful, especially my instructor, Harold. He was encouraging, affable, and great teacher. I had three sessions with him and he taught me everything I needed to know before my road test, which I passed! I’m very appreciative.

Negative experience: I have called multiple times to schedule my child. He has a scholarship grant so they kept telling me I can only speak to Lori. Well Lori never calls back or answers her phone. Then I complained that I wanted to deal with someone else because clearly Lori didn’t care so Lauren called me and said she promised she will have Lori call me. Nope never happened. So I took our business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: This school was amazing!!! My son leaned to drive really well, he's very attentive and never distracted. He actually corrects my driving all the time! And worst part is that he's right. Ash his instructor was so patient and great instructor. Always on time, very professional and respectful. Loved this school and I'm so picky!

Fantastic experience: The leadership staff at 1 ACT Driving Schools has been extremely helpful. We had a situation where a driver did not show up for my son's final in-car driving lesson to satisfy Georgia's 6-hour teen driving lesson requirement. This error was just 3 days prior to his road test for his license and ACT was very accommodating with making it right. All instructors were booked up through our deadline, so the owner of the company, Ash Hodge conducted the final session for my son on a Sunday afternoon in order to keep us on schedule. Thank you, 1 ACT!

Fantastic experience: My boys have both received lessons through wonderful, informative, and well-trained instructions at 1 Act Driving School. They enjoyed the experience and learned a great deal to prepare them not only for their test but for driving in general. Ash and his entire staff are wonderful and very easy to work with. They make sure to communicate well with scheduled lessons as well as evaluations after the lessons are complete. A great business and one that I have and will continue to recommend to my friends for their children.

Fantastic experience: Leticia was absolutely amazing ! What an incredible instructor, my daughter truly enjoyed her. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience on the road.The instructor has such a pleasant personality,nurturing, great asset for the company. We absolutely love this company, they responded quickly to our texts and accommodated our requests to give our daughter the practice she needs to drive with a Permit one day after she received it. This will definitely help us to feel more comfortable when she has to drive us. We highly recommend 1ACT Driving. We’ll also definitely circle back with them when she has to drive for her license next year. Our daughter cane back with all smiles.

Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school hands down. I was treated with the upmost respect and they gave very knowledgeable instruction along with good tips for the actual road test. Fantastic experience: Both instructors I had were incredible and gave me invaluable tips on how to pass the road test. The rates were extremely reasonable and I wouldn't have been able to pass the road test as quickly as I did without ACT Driving School. I highly recommend people to ride with them. The were able to recreate the actual test for me effectively and it was nice that they gave me a copy of the DDS Exam Scoring sheet.

The entire staff exhibited professionalism, kindness, extreme understanding. As a business owner, Ash was the most gracious business entrepreneur I ever met!! His team made me feel totally comfortable about taking the class. The facility was clean amd well maintained. The DUI Invention Program instructor, Eric King was an outstanding facilitator. Fantastic experience: I called on June 10th 2019 to find out about a driving course for a friend that was 47 years old from another country does not know how to drive I contacted act Driving School and they advised me of their prices and what spoke to me and high-value was the young lady that took my phone call did not try to pressure me into attending their Driving School she just had an outstanding attitude and the main thing she told me was long as you are a licensed driver she just need 20 hours or more with a licensed driver in the car and from that point I call back to reach the owner to tell him of my experience I would definitely recommend anyone to go to this driving school thank you for your outstanding customer service Yours Truly Antwan lark

Fantastic experience: This is a very fantastic school! Everyone is extremely friendly and kind, treat you as a person rather than look at you as another work day for them. They make the class interactive and fun for everyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a much better experience at the school than I anticipated. The staff and director were very professional and courteous and did not seem to look down on me. The facility was very clean and I got the vibe that they were trying to make me feel at home if that's possible in that environment.I also got the sense that they were just as interested in helping me get through what I needed to get through over just the money aspect.that might sound strange but if this is something that you have to do this is definitely the place to do it.
