Fantastic experience: I had such a great time at this driving school.Thanks to Myra for making driving fun and easy. Unlike some driving schools, she makes you feel at ease, and if you make a misktake she doesn’t get mad she just politely tell you how to fix it. As a mom of two, it was essential for me to learn how to drive. After failing my road test couple of times, I felt hopeless and discouraged. Then, I came across this driving school with so many great reviews, and I decided to give it one last try. A big thank you to Lynn for working around my schedule and helping me find the right time. And a special thanks to Myra for being strict yet patient—she taught me how to drive correctly and helped me break my bad driving habits. Fantastic experience: A Woman's Way Driving School is fantastic and very effective. I had Myra as my instructor, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was very patient and understanding while still making sure I was understanding every tip and instruction she gave me. She was never judgmental about mistakes that I made, instead she calmly explained what the best course of action would have been to be a safer driver. She was extremely knowledgeable about the car, the roads, the road test, and everything else you need to pass your test and be a great driver. I never got to meet Lynn in person, but she was also great. She was very kind on the phone and was very accommodating with booking my lessons and rescheduling them when something came up. I was very nervous to take driving lessons, but these women made it so easy. I took lessons for about 2 months and passed my road test on my first try with a nearly perfect score! I definitely recommend this school! They're fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Mira for several weeks and my driving improved so much. I just passed my road test the other day and I could not have done it without her help. Fantastic experience: Myra and Lynn are FANTASTIC! We had our daughter go through a paid driving course with a school and realized that she wasn’t getting the kind of driving lessons she needs to be a confident and observant driver. I reached out to Lynn and immediately got my daughter started- a few times a week for a few weeks. Within the first lesson, my daughter said how confident she felt. That’s what our kids need. The ladies are so kind, humble and will talk to you about your child’s driving and offer suggestions and will take feedback to work with your child. They go out of their way to accommodate your schedule and best of all- they pick you up and drop you back home. And yes- my daughter passed on her first try and is now a license holder. We will continue to use their services to boost confidence and continue driving with precision and experience. Fantastic experience: I found out about A Woman’s Way Driving School through a friend whose daughter had taken lessons there. Not only did she pass her road test, but she became a very safe and confident driver. I wanted the same for my adult son, who was very nervous about driving but really had no way of getting over his fears in the years he had his permit. Taking lessons with Myra helped bring out my son’s confidence. She was patient, kind, knowledgeable and let him learn at his own pace. Needless to say, he is now a safe and confident driver with his own license. I highly recommend A Woman’s Way Driving School. If you are afraid, lack confidence, or just need special attention and kindness, this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: I’m finally writing this review after five years, because A Woman’s Way made such a positive difference in my life. I had a phobia of driving ever since I was a teenager. It seemed like no matter how many classes I took, I could never get over the feeling of panic whenever I got into the driver’s seat. Finally, at age 35 I decided to give it another try, but I sought out a school that specialized in helping fearful drivers. Myra was like a therapist and a driving instructor in one. She helped me to get through the anxiety, and handle the driving situations that made me nervous. She talked through my history of driving with me, so I could get to the root of the problem. Eventually, I passed my road test! Now, five years later, I own a car, and I have the freedom to go where I want when I want. I truly was afraid that I would go my whole life without driving, but thanks to A Woman’s Way, I am a driver - thank you Myra!

Fantastic experience: So my story is I got my license years ago when I was in my teens only because my friends were all getting theirs. Once I got the license I never really drove. I started back lessons with another company for a bit just to get cobwebs off but I never really felt comfortable with driving. I had serious driving anxiety that would basically keep me stuck. I only drove really local and barely at all. I finally got a used car and it came in perfect time because my parents are getting older and one was having health issues. I need to relearn how to drive. I did my research and found A Woman's Way as they help with anxious drivers. Myra was my instructor. She definitely focuses on safety as the priority always. She teaches you how to be safe and the correct rules of the road. She teaches you on how to see more of the road and beyond so that you can be safe. How really break properly. How to approach the road and other drivers. The biggest thing I learned was patience and being safe. You won't be this great driver overnight but they help you build a solid foundation so that you will. I still have my anxious moments and I am still building my confidence. But I feel better equipped. I also learned not to give up when stuff gets too challenging or there was something you didn't expect to happen. If you spend time with Myra you get driving lessons and life lessons too. There were times we had some driving situations where I was fearful but she showed and guided me on how to navigate it and again how to be safe.

My son took weekly lessons and passed his road test because of Myra's expert instruction! I highly recommend A Woman's Way Driving School!

I came to A Woman's Way Driving School after working with other driving schools and failing my road test twice. I appreciated Myra's clear instruction and attention to detail. Negative experience: I do not recommend A Woman’s Way Driving School. Myra is not the most patient person in the world and often spoke to me with sarcasm. I am not there to be greeted with sarcasm, I am there to learn how to drive. Also, Myra had this bad habit of taking me back home before the time that my lesson was over. I did not like that. If I pay for a complete lesson, do not take me back early. Also, the progress of my lessons were too slow. I feel like we could’ve accomplished more in our time slot instead of doing the same thing over and over. Anyway, I went to a different driving school and passed my test :)

Fantastic experience: From “the word go” my first telephone conversation with Lynn was very positive and professional. The driving instructor, Myra is very timely, knowledgeable and thorough, not to mention the nice new Corrola they provided for learning. Even though I have already been driving for years my experience was very practical and enhancing providing an opportunity to learn driving with “best practices” and unlearn out-dated or some bad driving habits I had acquired over the years. Fantastic experience: I was an absolute beginner and after driving lessons with Myra I passed my road test on the first try. Myra has her own style of driving and teaching where safety is the first priority. Another point is that she teaches to drive like a lady, graceful (when you brake;) and taking care of others (when you share the road ;). As a result, I felt confident at learning and do at driving. Fantastic experience: I just want to say I just took my road test today and I passed the first try with ease! Thank you Lynn (the owner) and most importantly Mira. My wonderful instructor that taught me everything I know about driving and road safety. The very first lesson I took with her she told me that driving and operating a vehicle goes hand in hand with physics. She explained everything so well to me so I could comprehend how to operate a car correctly. The lessons here are absolutely worth it! All my hours of practice and hard work with Mira paid off. Even if you're nervous about driving, Lynn and Mira are so patient and helpful. I love Mira's techniques she helped me learn. I use them while driving all the time now. Just a little over 2 months ago I started driving completely with Woman's way. Now I'm completely comfortable driving and have developed great defensive driving skills as well. I will be recommending everyone here.

Fantastic experience: Lynn and Myra did a fantastic job with my daughter with her drivi g lessons. They were flexible with scheduling and sometimes re-scheduling. Myra was patient with my daughter with in-car lessons. Over a few months my daughter gained confidence and experience in the road. My daughter passed her road test recently on 1st try. Highly recommend this driving school !

Fantastic experience: Excellent school for anyone, especially drivers with driving anxiety. Passed my road test on my first try with Myra’s help. She is very patient and easy to work with. Just keep in mind YOU decide how many classes you need, at your own pace. There are no set amount of classes. Everyone is different. But with that, the total amount you pay can get high. Completely satisfied with my experience. & that I overcame my fear.

Fantastic experience: Myra was a great teacher! I had many driving teachers in the past, and she was the only one who was able to give me the confidence I needed. A woman's way driving school is super professional and i highly recommend them to any new drivers or those who would like a refresher!

Negative experience: The sign outside of the school says that they’re open 7 days a week from 10am to 6 or 7pm but yet no one answered the door when I went by today.

Fantastic experience: Myra and Lynn, a seasoned driving instructors. This is my second driving school, with the other school they gave me several instructors and didnt help me with my roadtest so I decided to find another driving school and I found their website and took a chance. That's the best decision I made. I passed the roadtest today. Thanks to Myra who's very detailed in teaching.

Positive experience: Lynn & Myra... I worked with these women for around 2 mos. I have worked with two driving schools in the Long Island & Queens area in the past. I always had male instructors, and they would flirt, try to get a date w/me, ask me to take them to a store to get breakfast, or text their girlfriend on and off during my lesson. I was fed up. It had a negative effect on my focus and my wallet! I knew that these instructors didn't care. They were selfish and very unprofessional. I decided that A Women's Way, while pricey, was the best option. I was focused on obtaining my DL once and for all. Additionally, I wanted quality lessons that incorporated a deep understanding the why's" and "how's" of the driving and work with a school that TRULY understood the learning process. I wanted an instructor who was going to make sure that every single move I made protected my life, and the life of others while on the road. Lynn and Myra shared that same mindset. They helped me to see that learning to drive is NOT a race, it's a process and everyone is different. Not all people learn the same way, at the same pace. So, the individual lessons, while expensive, help you to "customize" your leaning experience. Plus, the amount of wisdom they have is worth the price! In the beginning, when I wanted to learn how to drive it was all about spending as little money as possible to learn the skill. Yes, I was hesitant to spend as much as I did on lessons with A Women's Way, BUT I tell you what...I would have saved hundreds of dollars if I came to them in the first place! Plus, Lynn's & Myra's passion, wisdom and heart is evident upon first meeting or speaking with them. If I had realized that I needed to learn in a certain way, and then align myself with a driving school that shared my values and beliefs about being a driver, I would have had my license a long time ago. And, I would have gotten it with A Women's Way. Also, I did quite a bit of research on Lynn, the owner. I knew her story, purpose and incredible credentials in the field of Driving Education. She is so passionate about her work and purpose in within the industry. Lynn understood my desire to learn, and the specific ways I wanted to learn this skill. It’s no wonder she works with Myra (my instructor) who has tons of experience as well. Myra watches your every move - eyes, hands, and your legs to see your reaction time to step on the brake. She's also encourage me to be a confident and courteous driver, and never to let another driver diver's intimidate you, just trust yourself and your skill. If I made a critical mistake, she'd tell me to pull the car over and we'd walk through it. She'd ask me, "what went wrong?" "What did I learn from it?" and then.."ok, let's keep going, she'd say. Her work ethic and attention to your driving is impressive and inspiring. My advice, make the most of lessons, be dedicated and fully present. Understand that yes...it is a financial sacrifice, you don't get use their car - (you will have to have your own for the test) and they only work with cash. While these can be looked upon as cons, it's a matter of perspective. The price of the classes made me take each lesson more seriously; not being able to use their car for my test made it SO much easier to build comfortably and confidence with the car I now use every day; (This was the car I practiced on in between lessons) Only dealing with cash reminded me of the personal sacrifice I was making to learn this skill every time I took that money out of my wallet. Now, after years of self-doubt and lousy instructors I have my NYS Driver's license to remind me of my journey with A Women's Way. This journey was not easy, it was a fight to have the self-confidence, and focus to believe that I could do it. I wouldn't have been able to do it with Lynn & Myra, they are meant to do the work they do. I hope they know how important their work is, and that this lengthy review reflects that! Fantastic experience: A Woman's Way Driving School I am so very happy I decided to take lessons from A Woman's Way. I realized that I chose correctly during my first contact with Lynn Fuchs, the owner. Lynn was very friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in my needs. Lynn assigned Myra as my instructor. It seemed Myra knew immediately that I was a nervous wreck and managed to calm me down. She explained everything you need to know to drive safely, and had me doing more in the first lesson than I had thought I could handle! I took six, one and one-half hour lessons and now I am comfortable to drive on my own. My goal was to be able to drive my husband home after a procedure in the hospital in his huge 'tank' of a car, which I did with such ease and confidence. Myra continued to comfort me, encourage and reassure me that I was driving well. Myra truly is a wonderful instructor. She has so much patience and her method of teaching has you driving immediately. You will be very happy that you chose A Woman's Way Driving School - I promise!
