MOTORCYCLE SAFETY TRAINING OF POLK COUNTY

Fantastic experience: Completed my BRC here and absolutely recommend the course at MST! The instructors led by Charity are knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining, and excellent teachers. They clearly communicate core concepts and build your confidence as you learn. Explanations and feedback throughout the exercises are very thorough. Thanks Charity, Nick, and Shaun.

Negative experience: Not recommended if you are new to bikes!!! I m a beginner. They failed my class twice and asked for an extra $100 for additional classes.No refunds. I paid to learn and not to be told -You are not doing it right ,Come back next month. Same time My girlfriend who had a little experience passed it ,while i was asked for an extra $100 for more classes.(maybe because I rolled in Porsche and looked like $$$) I have a clean safe driving record just FYI ..... Sad You denied the fact I was in the class..Lying.

Fantastic experience: This is an Awesome BRC. The instructors are very personable, patient and, Informative. The lead Instructor even helped me get my endorsement 10 days earlier than I was previously going to be able to! Highly Recommend to anyone looking to improve Their riding skills. It’s Also great for any trail riders that want to work on their street skills!

Fantastic experience: I took the motorcycle class this past weekend. Being new to riding it was a great experience. The small class size was a big plus. Instructor Nick was amazing. Took time for any questions. Weather may not have cooperated, but it was good to learn in the real Florida weather . Nick fully explained everything as we did the exercises, making sure everything was understood. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn.

Fantastic experience: I took this course and had very little knowledge about motorcycles and zero experience on a bike and after this 3 day course and how great the instructors was about explaining the in and outs of riding and helping show how things work and proper why’s to do things I feel safe going out on my own and riding but will still continue to listen to their advice and continue practicing to improve my skills as a rider I highly recommend taking this course and even more so if you have never been on a bike they really take there time and make sure you do it right and that your safe and what makes it even better is they make all that learning fun. AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! Way better then 5stars

Fantastic experience: I was the only female taking the class but I know from my experience, any lady (and guys too) would have fun and learn the best skills here. I want to go into detail about this training course. First off, Charity and Shaun are amazing instructors. Day 1: the bookwork and written test. It's not a difficult test but you do need to pay attention. There are a few questions that were tricky. Day 2: First Riding Day: Listen to your instructors suggestions, both of them. Shaun has a way of explaining the motorcycle object avoidance section really good. He stood in front of the bike and showed me how to turn one way but lean the other way. (You'll understand what I'm talking about when you get out there.) Charity is amazing at giving you more confidence in your riding skills. She gives you that little push to try harder and do better. Day 3: Oh man!!! Now they really test you!! Small U turns in tight spots, quick stops, weaving between cones, etc. These are all good things because usually riders just jump on a bike and go but REALLY these slow moving skills are going to make you a much better rider on the road.

Fantastic experience: My family and I took this course, and as first-time riders, we enjoyed and learned a lot from it. The team and coaches are excellent, flexible, super patience, and super tough, but they know what they are doing. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Listen, I get it. You've been riding forever. You know what you're doing. Let's call you a seasoned rider. Then after your first day riding and put a few pieces here and their together you realize this was a good investment. You ride with some that's been riding 20 years and others with no experience. BUT, you will learn something and for those beginners I can honestly say they do show patience. No extra charge if you don't pass the first time. They want you to succeed and I really appreciate that. It was a great experience.

Negative experience: This course no where near prepares you for the road and the instructor passes people who can’t even make basic turns without falling over, but if you want an easy pass go for it lol

Fantastic experience: Finished the course today and passed! Thanks to the amazing staff. Came here not knowing anything about riding motorcycles. They made me feel comfortable and were friendly. Fantastic experience: Thank you to Becki and her team of rider coaches! You guys taught an awesome class that was great for anybody of any skill level. I saw people that had never touched a bike riding like naturals at the end of the course. The instructors and aides took their time to make sure each student was properly and safely taught, leaving nobody behind. You can tell they care as much about the rider's safety as they do about teaching the basic skills. I do not know where the other reviewer got the idea that they discriminate against different backgrounds, but I did not see anything of the sort in our group that consisted of people from all walks of life! Thank you!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. Never contacted when class was delayed. Left people hanging. When they made mistakes never owned up to it or apologized for them. Rude to people of different backgrounds.

Fantastic experience: The MSF course taught by Rider Coaches Bill and Becki was a great class and very informative. They made sure everyone was properly trained, and was always there giving you the confidence to go and do the exercises! I feel trained and equipped to now practice on my own and refine my new skills. I would definitely encourage you if you are looking to get your license to take the MSF course here with the best coaches around! ✨✌

Fantastic experience: It was an awesome fun experience. I’ve been riding for about 10 years with no endorsements (lol) and I thought I was a pretty good rider, but after I took the 3 day course I found out I was wrong. They had a lot more to show me than I thought and they did it in a PERFECT way. I would recommended this course to anyone as a start to riding or even as a brush up for experienced riders. Can never be to safe around here in fl and they teach you the tools to make sure your as safe as possible. They had awesome rider aides and demos (Thanks Andrew and Deo!) it was overall fun and I also made new friends and it was all possible because of the AWESOME teach at MSF here in Polk County.

Fantastic experience: The first and last time i got on a moto before taking this class was when i was 10 on my uncle's Dirtbike ... it didn't end good. So coming in knowing virtually nothing about riding i was a bit nervous but anxious. Becky & Bill , and of course Andrew, quickly changed that. These are real teachers! In as little as a few hours, i went from darting around uncontrollably to confidently cruising around. As long as you listen, there's no doubt these 3 can guide you thru this process.

It’s a small class so if you’re struggling in an area they have the people to give one on one help. Would highly recommend and it’s very affordable compared to other similar classes

Fantastic experience: Only had about 3 hours experience on a motorcycle before taking this course and Becky and Bill taught me a great deal of information. They were friendly, helpful, and most of all patient as I learned the ropes. (funny too!) Every lesson they teach is something you'll actually use on the street. 5/5 Can't recommend them enough.

Becky and Bill I honestly appreciate the time and dedication you both put into teaching me the safety and knowledge on how to ride a motorcycle. This is a great course to take even if you think you know what it takes to ride a motorcycle. After taking this safety course I personally learned that there is a lot more to it than just getting on a motorcycle and taking off. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking forward into getting there motorcycle license and would also like to learn how to ride the safe way.

Fantastic experience: Great class... actually have been riding in and off for almost 20 years(illegally no endorsement lol).... very informative class. A lot of experience and hands on... they don't try to be forceful, they speak to respectfully and try to help you understand why you should approach situations in a different manner... i would definitely recommend this class floor other people...

Fantastic experience: Just finished the course today, can honestly say great individuals run the class, was very easy going no big pressure. The instructions were explained throughly and a demo is given before every exercise to clear up any confusion. Both rider coaches Bill and Becky very patient with all riders and take the time to explain any issues or concerns they may see and will help you fine tune them to make you the best rider you can be. The evaluation at the End is nothing to worry about by the time you have gotten there you will have received plenty of training and have been taught all the skills needed to pass. Highly recommend this course, they are passionate and enjoy teaching this class and it shows

Fantastic experience: They have amazing instructors and they make a really relaxed and fun experience out of getting your endorsement. I had never ridden a motorcycle before this class and I felt no pressure at all during any point. If you are wanting to learn how to ride at all like I was or if you just need your endorsement to ride legal, these are the people to go to!

Fantastic experience: Whether you are new to riding or getting a long over do refresher you will have fun and learn to ride and ride safely with Motorcycle Safety Training (MST) of Polk County. My 16 year old son and his 55+ year old dad recently took the course together and were pleased at how the Rider Coaches (code for trainers) were able to teach not just us but the other 6 experienced riders in the class. They did so with a mix of professionalism, humor, practical experience and hands on (or butts in seats) training with the patience of saints. Becki, Bill, Andrew and the entire staff know their stuff and take pride in YOUR success. If this old dog and his son can learn and have fun while getting the basics down in order to get the required Florida Motorcycle Endorsement you can as well. Take the Course, Have Fun, Get you License!

Fantastic experience: Great experience for a person who never been on a motorcycle before.. I mean by the end of day 2 I built my confidence thanks to bill and Gary! Location very convenient for a polk county girl! I thought motorcycle classes were only offered outside of Polk. So that’s a big plus! Good job team! Definitely recommended:-)
