Fantastic experience: Five stars are not enough to capture how great an experience Telluride Moto provides! Frankie and Cris are amazing hosts, instructors, and guides. From the start, they expertly custom-tailored our riding experience. Here is a brief summary of our two days with TM: My wife spent a day with Frankie on the range, getting the rust off her MC skills and learning how to ride in the dirt. Frankie is a patient, knowledgeable, and skilled instructor. Meanwhile, my friend and I picked up off-road tips from Frankie while practicing on ‘the range’ in the morning. In the afternoon, we explored surrounding trails with their very competent son as a guide. The following day we were treated to an all day ride on the trails outside of Telluride with Frankie as our guide. All the while, Cris ensured that our experience went smoothly, ensuring we were appropriately geared up, providing food, taking pictures, and joining us on her own bike too. Wow! The combination of the beauty of Telluride, the stellar service provided by Telluride Moto, and the down-to-earth vibe and hospitality offered by Frankie and Cris (and family!) make for a truly magical experience. I am grateful to them for the amazing memories they helped create. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: This was a five star experience. On the off-road rides that I’ve done since… things have clicked in for me In a way that has eliminated anxiety and raised confidence. I am now correctly, coordinating the controls and positioning my body. Frankie is a gifted teacher, but this is also a family business in the best sense of that word. Fantastic experience: 5 stars doesn't do Telluride Moto justice! Where's a 6th star when you need it?? I spent a day outside of Dolores, CO doing a skill development session with Frankie. What an incredibly gifted teacher; great observer, communicator and deep, deep knowledge with he's all for sharing with a smile and kind chuckle. Didn't meet Cristina in person but spoke on the phone with her and found her very helpful in explaining options and what to expect/how to prepare. Location was gorgeous with varied terrain to practice different skills at various challenge levels. Couldn't imagine another company topping this experience. I'd post pictures but I was too busy having fun, learning and smiling to take out my phone.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing experience. We brought our office staff here for a retreat and our expectations were exceeded. The whole team did an incredible job making us feel comfortable and safe, while offering well paced progressions. I recommend this for anyone who is beginning and anyone who wants to improve their current skill level!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic day with Frankie on a guided tour! He offered a few different options for a ride and I chose the "little bit of everything" ride. We did some gorgeous fire road, high desert, and some amazing single track. He was very knowledgable about the terrain and was able to time our route to make sure we road areas as they dried out throughout the day. He took the time to give me tips on some of the more technical sections and shared a lot of knowledge about the surrounding area. I would highly recommend booking with Telluride Moto for a guided tour, there is so much amazing riding to be done if you have someone like Frankie to show you the way! Booking was also super easy with Cristina and she made us a great lunch for on the trail!

Fantastic experience: I rented an 850 GS a few weeks ago and had an incredible experience. Everything from the reservation process, to the bike, to the service was second to none. The owner is extremely friendly and took the time to familiarize me with the bike, the best routes in the area, and fit me with complementary gear that worked for the trip and my bike. I’ll be renting from the again when I’m back in the area. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Adventure riding class was excellent. The facility presented a variety of off-road challenges, and the instructors were top notch. The family (owned business) was welcoming, engaging and couldn’t have been nicer. I will certainly be returning!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a great time with Telluride Moto on a weekend ADV course. Excellent training grounds in Dolores with miles of nearby trails to explore and practice. Telluride Moto helped with bike rentals and tasty food and had the whole family out for a nice atmosphere to have fun in the dirt.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend telluride Moto! What a pleasure it is to spend time with their family team - they care so much about your experience - their process is easy to sign up, and communication is excellent. The riding - they have some of the best places as part of their tours - and I would encourage anyone to participate or take their riding course to learn proper riding technique. I am an experienced rider of 20+ years and I learned great things for the first time after taking their course. You'll also leave your time with them with some amazing photos and videos of your trip. I can't wait to sign up, and ride again with them!

Fantastic experience: I took the beginner course with Telluride Moto and had an awesome day! Frankie and Cristina are super knowledgeable and wonderful teachers. We started from the ground up and they broke down all the basics to get you riding quickly. I left feeling comfortable to start riding on my own/with friends. Fantastic experience: Cristina and Frankie are fantastic moto tour operators. I was wondering what to do with my afternoon after being dropped off at the nearby hostel. When Cristina answered the phone and I asked about riding she said you have to go riding it's such a gorgeous day. She sent her sister to pick me up and her boys set me up with the gear and Frankie laid out 2 loops for me to ride. It was an amazing afternoon riding up into the high country with views forever. They have many bike for all riders. Husky, KTM, Honda take your pick. Last Dollar Road was a beautiful climb and the drop back into the valley floor was just stunning. As the sun set I arrived back at the shop and Frankie was prepping bikes for the next day. He maintains them perfectly and the suspension was set delightful for the rocks on the trails. They were both thrilled the me and the bike were muddy and the creek crossings were perfect. I am getting with my friends and we're gonna book a big tour very soon And have Frankie guide us to his hidden treasure single tracks. This is an amazing family to go riding with. Don't miss out!

Fantastic experience: I’m ABSOLUTELY telling you that this experience is THE BOMB! Frankie and his beautiful wife Cris are BEYOND AWESOME! Frankie is the quintessential instructor and leads you one step at a time. I had no idea what I didn’t know but he builds skills and confidence quickly. The tour (after the skills day) exceeded my expectations. You get to see and experience the true pure backcountry that few do. If you have any sense of an urge, don’t wait. Book your experience now as you won’t regret it! GREAT people and you can check it off the bucket list!

Fantastic experience: The dirt-biking training we did Monday will end up being the high point of our summer. Frankie took me, a bit of a ninny of a 51-yr-old mom, and three 17-yr-old boys and one 13-yr-old, all of whom but me were stone cold beginners (and I had much to unlearn) and somehow had us grounded in the fundamentals and on trails by the end of the day. He’s a remarkable explainer and teacher. And he does it with joy and humor. Learning isn’t always fun; it is with Frankie! And Cris put up with our last minute additions and information. She also put the teens at ease (they have teens, too), and set my expectations clearly on the phone. We really enjoyed it! Meanwhile, a more experienced rider, one of the kid’s dads was able to head off with guide Rick for the day to explore trails he never would have found on his own. We can’t recommend Telluride Moto enough. If you’re thinking about it, do it!

Fantastic experience: This place is really special. My son and daughter (ages 15 and 17) just had the best day with Telluride Moto School. They are beginner riders, and the instructors were so nice and so thoughtful in the way they taught them the bikes. By the end of the day both kids were just beaming. I’ve always hoped that they would find a love for riding but it’s not an easy thing to teach even though I ride a bit myself. These guys have a gift. They also provided all the gear the kids would need and took great care to make the day an incredible experience. 10/10, and we hope to be back again next summer!

Their training facility is a fantastic area where they can facilitate driving drills for all levels of riders, novice to experts. Then there are miles and miles of trails to ride. If you are in Telluride and have a motorcycle license, I highly recommend renting a dirt bike from Telluride Moto and exploring the awesome trails in the are. The owners will be happy to make recommendations. I went up over Ophir Pass to Silverton, then came back via Imogene Pass. The ride was incredible!

Fantastic experience: I took The MSF Adventure Rider Course 2 days. I like a safe, control environment to learn. Telluride moto delivered! I was safe, fun and I learn a lot. The facility couldn’t be any better for MSF class.

They are passionate about what they do and nothing is a hassle to make sure you have a fantastic experience. The rides themselves are out of this world and will be memories that will last a life time. Fantastic experience: My friend and I came over from the UK amd rented 2 x 390 KTM's from Telluride MOTO for 3 days. A first class experience with excellent support from the guys at Telluride MOTO. Got lots of great advice from Cristina especially the recommendation of doing the Y11 route beside Bedrock. I would certainly rent from them again as they looked after us all through the process of the initial booking until we returned the bikes 3 days later.

Fantastic experience: Chris made the entire rental process easy, and she was able to provide some insights on places to ride, and what to expect. We really enjoyed our visit to Telluride area, and Telluride Moto enable us to get to some places we never would have found. Highly recommend this organization

Fantastic experience: Telluride Moto was a great experience for us. The bikes are excellent and well maintained and Cris was sooo very helpful, patient, very knowledgeable and rides herself so she understands the bikes and the trails in the area. We will definitely be back!!!

Fantastic experience: Telluride Moto certainly deserves all the 5 star reviews. I rented a KTM 390 at the last minute on Labor Day weekend and the bike was in great condition. I left the house so quick that I forgot all my gear by the back door and they gladly got me all set up with helmet, gloves, pants, jacket, backpack. The visor on the helmet looked new, clear and no scratches. You get the feel that's the way they operate all the time, first class. Christina was telling me about the instruction classes they have and I didn't take one, but I'm guessing from how they operate they would be well worth it.

Fantastic experience: 5 STARS! I've now had the pleasure to doing both Telluride Moto's training classes and tours. Everything about this operation is professional and first class. They offer a range of equipment to suit all needs, delicious meals and snacks, and the instruction, whether in a class or on a tour, is terrific. Fantastic experience: Great experience renting an 850GS for a motocamping trip with friends. Owners are especially helpful and friendly, and kindly gave a discount for the day we picked it up at 5pm. Bike was in excellent shape. Couldn't recommend them more!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of experiencing the highly impressive training program offered by Telluride Moto. From the moment I contacted Christina to arrange the training, I knew I was in good hands. She quickly understood what I wanted to accomplish, the preferred dates, and the number of friends in my group. Christina swiftly organized a custom training experience in the breathtaking Dolores, Colorado. Leaving behind the uncomfortable heat of Sedona, Arizona, we immersed ourselves in the stunning surroundings of Dolores. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an exceptionally well-organized program. The training was not only fun but also the most beneficial motorcycle training I have ever experienced. The instructors at Telluride Moto are MSF certified, and Frankie, our instructor, held the additional MSF Adventure Bike certification. This combination of certifications proved invaluable as we started with dirt bikes and progressed to the bigger and more challenging Adventure BMW’s. Frankie's teaching skills were truly extraordinary. Despite each member of our group facing different challenges, Frankie quickly identified our individual difficulties and delivered step-by-step instructions that helped us understand and overcome our lack of experience. His expertise and personalized approach allowed us to progress quickly and confidently. One standout aspect of Telluride Moto's training program is the variety of training locations available, depending on the time of year and weather conditions. This flexibility ensures comfort and safety throughout the training sessions. Overall, my experience with Telluride Moto was exceptional. The professionalism, organization, and expertise displayed by Frankie, our instructor, was outstanding. I cannot recommend their training program enough, and I am already looking forward to returning in the future for more training adventures. Primary differences between Telluride Moto and other training programs I considered…. *Customized program to meet our specific needs. *Although our course was semi-private, normal courses are limited to 5 students per instructor which provides sufficient repetition and personalized instruction. *Qualified MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) instructors *Dirt, Adventure and Street training (or any combination of) available. *Rental bikes available *Full days of riding with instruction. *Lunches and drinks provided each day. *Video taken daily so you can see your progress.

Fantastic experience: Where to start. I am not prone to hyperbole but when you experience the incredible professionalism and decency of Christina and Frankie you will understand its validity. In a nutshell. I had not ridden in 30 years, arrived with four friends for a five day motorcycle odyssey in Telluride. My friend who had recently passed his test and I booked a two day course with Frankie. The other three attacked the trails with bikes courtesy of Telluride Moto. Frankie's attention to detail and skill building on those two days was extraordinary. I still cannot comprehend how he managed to watch our every move and correct and advise us in such a helpful and kind manner. Halfway through through day two and after realizing that Frankie was lightning in a bottle, I asked if he could give us one more day of instruction on the road. I was rusty, my friend a neophyte. 160 miles later on a superb BMW GS 850 and through the most stunning scenery complete with two way helmet communication, and surgical instruction on lane picking, cornering, leaning and road craft, I am now a much improved and confident rider. Frankie has left me with a toolbox full of riding tips at my disposal. Thank you tons Telluride Moto.

Fantastic experience: Did the Imogene Pass tour in July on my trip to Telluride... what an experience of a lifetime. This company is the "real deal", the equipment is first rate, and they offer different tour options based on the riders ability (and appetite for adventure). I wanted something "challenging" and Telluride Moto delivered. The trip up Tomboy Road from Telluride to the top of Imogene Pass was challenging and thrilling. Frankie was the ultimate professional and knew all about the area. I will definitely come back for future rides and want to bring my kids to the dirt bike school to learn to ride.

The equipment was first class and they gave us several areas to go explore that we hadn’t ridden before. Fantastic experience: Frankie taught my 16 year old son how to ride a moto in one day! He started with all the fundamentals and by the end of the day he was riding on single-track trails. He is a natural teacher and was so patient while repeating/performing the key points over and over. I highly recommend Frankie and his excellent company.

Fantastic experience: As a rider with many years experience traveling on two wheels around the world, I knew I could get through most anything. I also new I had a lot to learn to be more confident getting my new T7 through the roughest terrain. To be honest, I was a little intimidated by the size with my fairly short inseam. The team at Telluride Moto blew me away with their welcoming approach. Beginning with simple exercises building into more difficult maneuvers emphasizing the basics to build good riding habits. Frankie and Rick gave precise direction, followed by demonstration which we then attempted to repeat. They both watched intently giving each individual detailed critiquing which helped me to make small adjustments that drastically improved my riding. The land where the course was held was just perfect and made sure we were all well fed and hydrated while also giving great support and encouragement. The whole crew including the other riders made for one fun day. I left feeling accomplished and ready to practice my new skills. I look forward to more riding, camping and spending time with this crew.

Fantastic experience: Took the women’s beginner class and it was one of the best experiences! Frankie was very patient and encouraging and it made me feel super comfortable trying such a new thing. The progression was amazing and we were fed a big lunch with lots of snacks and drinks throughout the day. Fantastic experience: AMAZING EXPERIENCE! To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect out of the Skills Development course Telluride Moto offers. Our office management team used the course as a team building day. Each person in the group brought a different level of moto experience, from never ever to thousands of hours on dirt and road. The Telluride Moto team absolutely knocked it out of the park and exceeded all expectations of everyone in our group. The Telluride Moto instructors (Frankie, Cris, and Rick) assessed our individual experience, goals, and comfort levels and delivered a safe, fun, and educational day that was filled with smiles, camaraderie, and great memories. Thank you Telluride Moto! I can’t wait to bring my wife and kids to learn to ride from these pros!!!

Fantastic experience: Love the location. Private area with the uncertainties of public space removed. All the necessary amenities to feel comfortable; bathroom, shade, comfy chairs. The instruction is top notch! So professional! Gave us an introduction and smooth transition to getting on the bike and riding it slow speed. As a novice, I wasn’t scared, I was excited! Lunch was perfect! Afternoon session we got a chance to put our skills to the test and we sure did! Fun riding the trails and experiencing new challenges. Awesome day! Can’t wait for my next day of riding.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to explore the area, ride moto, and make some friends, then sign up! I consider myself an intermediate rider and Frankie was absolutely helpful while we toured 100 miles around Telluride. They ride based on your ability and do not put any pressure on you if you’re not comfortable with something. Along the way, you’ll see wildlife, stop for an amazing lunch they provide, and have views that are just breathtaking. I cannot wait to come back and ride!!

Fantastic experience: I spoke to and texted Cris multiple times over the last year planning my trip to Colorado and she was most helpful and very responsive every time. She delivered the KTM 500 EXC Six Days to the AirBnB in Telluride ready to ride and added the Mosko Moto saddle and tail bags so I could pack rain gear and stash extra layers. The motorcycle was top notch and ran flawlessly over two days and several hundred miles of high alpine trails. The KTM 500 EXC Six Days with its fuel injection was the perfect bike for the Alpine loop. It climbed up every pass with no issues and was just the right size not to small and not too big. Thanks for helping me check the Alpine Loop off of my bucket list. For anyone not wanting to haul a motorcycle all the way to Colorado I highly recommend giving Telluride Moto a Call.

Fantastic experience: Took my 13yo son and 9yo daughter along with me to learn to ride off road motorcycles. We had so much fun we booked another outing 5 days later! Cris was great with me and the kids, super helpful and thoughtful about keeping the kids safe and training methodically. Will definitely be a regular outing when in Telluride, highly recommended it! Fantastic experience: I had an excellent private class with Frankie. I've had difficulties handling my heavier dualsport bike and he really helped me gain more control and confidence on the bike. Fantastic experience: Researching a few options for Adventure Bike Rentals and came across Telluride Moto. I called and immediately was greated by Cristina (Cris) and was pleasantly surprised that they had such an incredible collection of motorcycles and adventure bikes available. Followed up via email, text, phone, and was always super responsive and helpful. Picked up the BMW F850 GS Rallye Adventure Bike and was impressed with the upgrades (Givi Crash Bars, Oversized Foot Pegs, Skid Plate, Upgraded Ride Mode Software, and MotoZ RallZ Tires). Bike was virtually New with only 3k miles. Overall, amazing experience, great communication, excellent Service with a smile. Highly Recommended to check them out and support local as they are the real deal. Will definitely be back and would love to check out their training / instruction courses even as an advanced (experienced) rider.

Fantastic experience: Cristina provided me with a great work horse BMW G 650GS, it performed really well in the mountains at Telluride, Ridgway, Million Dollar Highway, etc. Cristina guided me with all the best things to so in the area, she has great area knowledge. She even guided me on what to see, where to eat in Moab and Arches. Will bring my family next tome to go on a tour with Telluride Moto again.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing and fun day in the beginner class. We had limited riding experience entering the class and by the end of the day felt very comfortable riding on the trails with challenging elements. The course curriculum is very well developed including incremental steps starting with basics and then building upon these. We are planning to head back for the additional classes for more advanced riding. I highly recommend Telluride Moto!

Fantastic experience: I spent 2 weeks at Telluride. We want to do something with the kids that mix outdoors, adventure and learning process. Finally, we had the chance to rent some bikes and take a master class of dirt bikes in a safe environment: Peach Valley! Was amazing!!! Fantastic experience: Loved the adrenaline-fueled off road motorcycling course. My dad, brother, and I built on our pavement skills with gravel and dirt capabilities in dynamic terrain. We've been before and we will be back!

Fantastic experience: Scheduled a training session with Telluride Moto and had an EPIC DAY! I made new friends and learned new skills. I am an absolute beginner in the world of ADV riding and this was exactly what I needed. I never felt rushed or pushed, I got coached up at my own pace and it really helped build my confidence to train and ride with groups. A fun day of drills, laughs, and learning. Fantastic experience: Took part in a three(3) day tour with Telluride Moto. Experience was amazing. Started with a morning of slow speed big bike dirt training which was very helpful in getting used to the bikes (BMW G650). After which we hit the road and trails. Tour guide was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and did an amazing jog of routing us around weather. The scenery was beautiful, the riding was great, the camping was epic, which all added up to an unbelievable experience.
