Negative experience: Don't buy no cars from this place. He sold me and my wife a lemon. The car worked for a month and then broke down. Spent $7,000 on a car that doesn't even work after a month of using. I highly recommend no one buys no cars from this place. Rip off and I did talk to the owner and he told me we had to wait 3 weeks for him to fix something but he didn't have to wait for our money when he took it I highly recommend no one buys cars from this man he is a Con man the car work one min the next month the car was no good rip off

Negative experience: BUYERS BEWARE! These people are crooks. I put a deposit to hold a car for me, as I lived far away. After viewing the car in person, and seeing what poor condition it was in. They refused to return my deposit!!!! I had it in writing it was refundable. Only after they received a letter from my lawyer, did they return my deposit. Bottom of the barrel used car salesman. Avoid at all cost. They will gaslight you like they have with all these negative reviews. Trash people, trash cars.

Fantastic experience: From the moment we walked into the office it was a wonderful experience. Marc ( salesman) was phenomenal. He greeted us with an upbeat , positive attitude, no pressure tactics, and he was upfront about the vehicles we wanted to look at. Paperwork was quick to finalize a deal. Negative experience: First impression was not all that great honestly.i will keep names away from review but you know who you are. Salesman at this dealer will say anything to make you buy a car. Treats certain individuals with privilege and others like garbage. The owner will belittle you and doesn’t know how to talk to individuals. I’ve seen this with my own eyes. Cars will sell themselves honestly either it’s a good one or not. I’d rather deal with honesty than dishonesty . Owner does wrong all the time. Will wait certain time frame so that he doesn’t have to fix vehicle or blame someone else. Makes you sign documentation so that customer has no say so afterwards. Also is a bad payer when it comes down to it. Thanks for waisting my time Southwest Florida Auto. Don’t do the same mistake I did people.

Fantastic experience: I happened to be in the market for a second generation bmw 3 series, the many versions of the E46 chassis.....So, I just googled a search for a bmw 3 series from 2001-2006. I was looking for a sedan or coupe with milage under 100k, and in good condition for a price range of about 7-9k. Anyways, I ran across a sedan that appeared to be too good to be true!! It was a orient blue 325i sedan. The car appeared to be in great condition with only 32k miles.!!! As sceptical as I was, I figured it couldn't hurt to look at it, the only problem being that I was in Boynton Beach and it was at Southwest Florida auto, in Fort Myers Florida.....a two hour trip across the state. So, I called to try to get as much information as possible by speaking with the dealership owner. They were absolutely 100 percent honest when describing the cars history. I took an Uber across the state, and it was the best decision if ever made when buying a vehicle!!!! The car was in perfect condition ,with one owner and looked almost brand new,especially the interior, which looked more or less untouched!!! I was driving the car back within 15 minutes and, couldn't believe how easy they made the used car buying experience unprecedented!!! They offered to fill out all the paperwork, and guaranteed me a registration and tag with a title in my name within 30 days. They did exactly that and more!!! These guys are the FIRST HONEST CAR SALESMAN I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!! EVERY SINGLE THING ON THIS VEHICLE WORKED GREAT!!!! There was absolutely nothing that didn't function PERFECTLY!!!! To make it even better, the vehicle was made in Germany and, it was the deal of a lifetime!!! These guys are so trustworthy it's almost hard to believe!!! If you're in the market for a used vehicle, please check them out, because if you do see a vehicle that interests you, I can promise you that the guys who own Southwest Florida Auto will tell you the truth about the price, pros and cons, it's full history with not only carfax but, Auto check too!!! There's many things that Auto check lists that carfax misses!!! I simply did not want to haggle and, just thru out a price that included everything, tax ,tag,title,and any other fees, which there were no other hidden fees anyway.....I told them I want to pay this much( out the door), and without any BS, they said fine!!!! As I stated previously, they literally did all the paperwork after I left, which I've never even heard of. There's plenty of good deals there,and the inventory changes frequently!!! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! THANKS GUYS, JASON

Negative experience: Don't trust them. They made a bunch of promises on everything before I bought the car and once the purchase was made they screwed me hard and I can see they generally reply to negative reviews as if they don't have them on file which honestly makes sense to throw the file away after they screw somebody so hard.

Negative experience: I purchased a 2005 Subaru Impreza for $5000 in August of 2023. I live about 3 hours away so there were a few trips made back and forth as the car needed some repairs before the sale which was fine. However, after I finally bought the car and was driving it home, the car started making extremely loud noises and was leaking fluids. Immediately took it to 2 different shops and was quoted around $2000 in parts and labor for a blown steering rack and broken exhaust flange. I called the dealership about the issues as they had sold me a car that couldn’t even drive 3 hours home without falling apart. I was told they wouldn’t do anything for me except take it back to them and possibly get a better price on repairs. They also refused to pay for a tow back to their location. I ended up having to pay for the $2000 repairs myself, at a local shop as the tow would have cost me hundreds as well. I would advise anybody who is thinking about purchasing a car here to reconsider and try finding somewhere else. I could have bought from a private seller for less if I had wanted a vehicle that needed thousands in repairs.

Positive experience: I bought a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe for a very good price. I was nervous to buy online and have it shipped but I love my car. When it arrived, it did have a chip in the windshield which I had fixed but I'm not sure if that was at the dealership or those who delivered. The car is much nicer than anything else I've owned.

Fantastic experience: Mark was simply amazing. He was not a hard pressed sales person and allowed me to take my time to look at the car I came to purchase with no haggling. Marc is very courteous and very knowledgeable of the products on his car lot. Before finalizing the purchase Mark gave us a free Carfax report on the car so that I was fully aware of any maintenance issues and service records before I purchased. And although the car did not have any issues I found his honesty to be very refreshing. When purchasing a foreign car, especially a used car, you have to be very careful and I advised Marc that I had read his reviews and that was one of the reasons that I drove two hours to his car lot. When I advised Marc of my credit score and my concern with him running it through several banks he acknowledged my concerns and made one phone call to a trusted lender in which it was immediately approved with no hassle. And all without ruining my credit score with a bunch of unnecessary inquiries on my credit report. He even had the car detailed and followed me to the gas station to fill it up; and we all know premium gas isn’t cheap. It’s truly refreshing to find an honest and upfront used car salesman. Not only was my experience worth the drive but I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Negative experience: We recently bought a car from them and it had a clean car fax and a drove well and two weeks later the car totally broke down we take it to get looked at by a mechanic and he tells us it had a junk yard motor in it none of which is on the car fax or was disclosed to us. We have tried to call them only to get told they will call us back its been well over a week now and can not get a hold of anyone who can give us some answers. Never buy from these people while they seem nice and honest they are not!

Negative experience: Do not purchase anything from this facility, they are thieves. I just bought a vehicle from them and they sold me a Lemon. I am currently in communications with the States Attorney General. They will reset the on dash computer to cover up any error codes the car may be alerting you to, so be careful.

Negative experience: I have bought two cars from here my first time went pretty smooth 2 years ago. This time was really bad I had no communication from Marc Allen until I relentlessly demanded answers. I had the car shipped it arrived 3 weeks after they received payment. The title did not arrive and I was blown off when I called twice to ask where it was. I gave them the benefit of a doubt and waited another week it still didn’t arrive.so I lost all patience with them and demanded answers it turned out they never shipped it but they did overnight it. Got it the next day and went to register it the Secretary of State they had to investigate as there was a newer title somewhere. So now the investigation is done going on 6 weeks. I finally got the car on the road and it is so far out of alignment it’s not drivable after 600$ in repairs to front and rear suspension and alignment now it is finally drivable. The other sad part is they charge a 399$ dealer fee for this caliber of service. Needless to say I will not be doing anymore business with them and I wouldn’t recommend any one else.

Fantastic experience: A breath of fresh air in the used car industry. I car shopped for several months and was exhausted from dealing with typical used car salesmen trying to sell me junk with the only intention of making a quick buck off of me. I was referenced Southwest Florida Auto by a friend, and when that friend told me they were the best in town, I found out it was a complete understatement. The staff is not only super friendly but also down to earth and human, they took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for and what car would fit the best in my budget. The owner personally came out and shook my hand and showed me around ( it was a bonus that his twin daughters were there.. Absolutely adorable) anyhow after test driving several of their cars I was mind blown at the inventory and how clean everything was. I found the vehicle I was sure I wanted, then the on-site mechanic came out and showed me everything he knew about the car and that he had recently changed the brakes and did an oil change. Once purchasing the car, they did not try to gouge me on the price and I felt as if I walked away having got a very good deal. The whole transaction went so smooth and pleasant I was almost upset it was over. Southwest Florida Auto has earned my business and I would return for a car in a heartbeat. Negative experience: Scammed me right from the beginning, I pointed out a couple flaws and they said they would have their mechanic take care of it for me later in the week after I bought it. Not only did they refuse to fix the minor flaws afterwards, actual serious problems arose that they obviously refused to fix as well. Do not trust these guys, they will say whatever is needed to get your money.

We had a conference call regarding this vehicle to which the guy said oh you have my word, this is a good running van .....well, I run my hubby's company and I told him, don't scam us , we been scammed b4 ,.....he assured and insisted van was in great running condition . Turns out , the van was total junk . I would not give them a damn star but you can't let a review without giving them one . First red flag was using eBay as the ad to sell it but not backing it up thru eBay's policy's....these people stole our money, would not take van back or try to help with any costs including towing bills , transporting , even after THEY ASKED us to take it for a estimate from a huge ford dealership as per their REQUEST!!!!!! BACKED OUT , DON'T ANSWER CALLS OR CALL U BACK THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS AND NOT GOOD PEOPLE BEWARE , DO NOT TRUST OR BUY FROM THEM. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS, TELL U ANYTHING U WANT TO HEAR TO MAKE A SALE OR GET UR MONEY. I'M AN OUT OF STATER SO THEY TOOK FULL ADVANTAGE OF US ! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD GO TO JAIL FOR ROBBING PEOPLE!!!!!! They don't even have the decency to return calls or talk to you, COWARDS! Take note, after we wired the money they were no where to be found via phone!!!!!!!! SCAMMERS SCAMMERS thieves ! I hope they go to jail by someone who can get to them because when I get down there I am going to confront them , you can run all u want and hide bit I'll find you and call u out on this with all my records receipts and PROOF U LYING UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE . Negative experience: JUNK JUNK JUNK!!!!! BEWARE! These people are scammers! Sold a Van and said it was in running condition in good condition it was completely false van did not run did not start had to be towed and fixed and they did not pay nothing or try to help out in anyway with the situation! The repairs that this vehicle needed were over $5000 Plus had to pay all the towing fees ourselves. They even said to take it to a Ford automobile shop and they would help with the bill and when they heard the bill they backed out and didn't want anything to do with it! Worst experience ever! Would not recommend buying from these people!
