Negative experience: This course is a scam and a shameless money grab. The instructors are rude, nasty, and provide unclear instructions, sometimes even conflicting, and are on an ego trip, so beware. One bragged how he rides 150 mph in the canyons, (and he teaches responsible riding!) another spent hours yammering about herself and how great she is. The third was mean-spirited. The thing you’ll learn best is how to get on and off the bike because that’s all you will be doing; 10 minutes exercise, 10 minutes twiddling your thumbs while another group is doing the exercise, then debrief, then setting up the course, then unclear instruction… 10 min riding, 35+ min doing nothing useful, then a break, etc. In total you get maybe an hour of riding experience which is woefully inadequate... and cost $425. Basically, the whole thing is structured to provide a minimum of instruction, a minimum of actual riding time, and a maximum of profit. It’s totally not worth the money, and certainly not worth putting up with churlish so-called “instructors”. Not to mention that you will be pressured to sign up for more courses.

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn to ride. Bernadette is an awesome instructor. Jason is also a very helpful and patient instructor. If/when I lose my license, I’m definitely coming back to this place.

Fantastic experience: Gottta give props to all the guys at Ride Rite. I had some knowledge of being on a bike many years ago but never got training. Best investment I could have done. Glad it was with these guys. Allen, Akbar, G, and Russ all had patience for the whole group. We all received adequate criticism to help improve our technique, and it worked! I'm excited to return with my bike to learn more from them.

Fantastic experience: Had the privaledge of taking my course with some of the most awesome, well educated, and encouraging instructors Starting with Bernadette who was a real fire cracker, Ted who will razz you till you wanna ride rite (no pun) Jason ( dude is down right chill) for you nervous Nellie's and Cherie the sweet heart drill Sargeant over all all instructors are patient, they want you to do well, if you dont pay attention or let your nerves get the best of you it's only how you'll fail remember they want safe riders on the road. And their trying to prepare you for that.

Fantastic experience: I learned so much in the Basic Riding Course. Ziggy and Kai were excellent instructors with patience and the ability to explain to a new rider what needs to be done to correct errors. It's rare to find people who can break riding down into easy steps for a new rider to follow. I entered the classroom on the first day thinking I will probably need to repeat this course because I was truly a novice. I left with the confidence I needed to practice riding my motorcycle not only in a parking lot, but on the streets. I am really looking forward to taking another class from them in the future. I highly recommend Ride Right to anyone who is considering a riding course.

Fantastic experience: I'm a 67 yo man that hadn't ridden a motorcycle in 45 years. This course was exactly what I needed to get back in the saddle. The staff were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I began the course with some trepidation. I left feeling much more confident in my riding skills. I highly recommend this company and course to any first time rider and to those needing a refresher, as did I.

Great information in class and on the practical course. Our instructors Guillermo, Amy, Jason were great. They took the time an worked with your skill set. Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience. I had never driven a motorcycle before taking this course. They teach you an emphasis on safety and how to ride from start to finish. You start with simple exercises and build on as you grow your confidence. The instructors are right there with you the whole time; offering constructive feedback based on your learning needs and weaknesses. There’s also great feedback on when you are doing well. The instructors were dynamic and entertaining and their passion in safety and riding was evident in their teaching. A very well organized course; although I don’t feel safe to go on the road by myself just yet- I feel I have learned the basics in a safe way that will allow me to continue safe practice until I feel ready. Can’t recommend them enough. Would definitely consider intermediate classes when I’m ready.

Fantastic experience: The people at Ride Rite in Corona truly care about their students. My specific instructor, Bernadette, was everything a beginner rider could ask for in a teacher. She was patient, encouraging, and explained the reasoning behind every technique she taught, so I knew why I was learning them. Fantastic experience: (27F) Before taking this class I had never been on a motorcycle (other than the half dozen times I was a passenger). I was a little nervous about what to expect, but this class was AMAZING. They started off easy and progressed just as I was getting comfortable with a maneuver. I was never so far out of my comfort zone that I was anxious. All the staff was friendly, encouraging, and informative (I had Amy, Bernadette, Allan, Louis, and Russ). I learned so much in those two days, and am so excited to get a motorcycle and start riding. 10/10 would recommend. It's worth every penny, especially if you are new to riding.

Fantastic experience: I took the 3 day beginning Motorcycle Training Course with Ride Rite at the Corona location. I have never even sat on a motorcycle before the class. The instructors were so great, they made class fun and very informational. On the 1st night we have classroom with Bernadette. She made class very welcoming for a person with 0 experience like me. Rich and Ted were the instructors the 1st day and Rich and Russ were the instructors the 2nd day on the range. All instructors are very serious about safety and want us to succeed in the course. I ask many questions and they answered them with patience. I was nervous before class and now I feel confident as a beginner rider and excited that I learned something new that is out of my comfort zone.

Positive experience: I did this class a few weeks ago and I now do have my motorcycle license (and first motorcycle) thanks to this class. It seems a bit expensive and the wait is long, months in advance needed to register for a class, but I’m glad I did. Though, there were issues I cannot look past and must state here. The main issues I faced were on the “range”, what some may call the “course”, where you actually are on a motorcycle and riding in the parking lot. Biggest issue I had was that there was an inconsistency between the two guys training us. For example, one exercise was us coming to a complete stop. One guy tells me to be over the tank and focused on the road ahead very seriously. So I do that with him again and he tells me I’m doing a good job. I go to the other line with the other instructor and do the same, but this one says I’m too tense and I should be relaxed. This exercise is about pretending this is an unexpected obstacle. Two contradictory things. Another example: we are going around in a circle and I’m going a bit faster than others in the group so I’m close on them. The instructor tells us to separate and not be so close together. So I slow down and keep a similar pace. When I come around, the instructor tells me to speed up. But if I speed up, I’ll be with the group and he told me not to do that. So which do I do? I can’t do both. Another issue was when we first started, one instructor instructed us to just use the clutch with no throttle to practice. We go around and the other trainer tells me to speed up, so I let off on the clutch more to speed up. He tells me to speed up again except I’m completely off the clutch so I tell him. He tells me to use the throttle. But the other trainer told us not to use the throttle. Along with that, no one ever really went over practice over the throttle, we were just expected to jump into it. The explanation over the clutch and moving forward wasn’t explained well enough for me. I’m now spending time on my own to properly learn that. It should be noted that the groups were separated on two different parking lots and the other group didn’t seem to have the same issues we faced. But it wasn’t all a waste. I did learn a lot, a lot more than if I didn’t take this class, which was part of the reason I took this class. Also to get the insurance discount and bypass the DMV behind the wheel test. This was decent, but it could have been better. $350 doesn’t seem like a fair price, but inflation has risen everything, so it may have been necessary, unfortunately. It seems to continually rise too as a few years ago, some older reviews state $250. All in all, it’s alright. Just be prepared to do more learning if you pass this class. It’s inevitable, but it’s more than I was originally thinking would be needed.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I took this course!!!!!The more confidence and proper procedures of this hands on training made it worth every penny!!! I'm a better rider already shortly after putting these skills onto the streets!!! I wish I can remember all the names of the instructors from Ted,Jason,(hope i got the names right!)and the rest of the instructors.These guys are great!I will be back for the advanced courses!!!!!!

Negative experience: They just need money, it’s a shame.

Negative experience: They pretty much stole 350$ from us. How can the instructors be 20 minutes the first day, and I am not allowed to enter for being 10 minutes late the second day? What a scam.

Negative experience: awful, just awful, the instructors have terrible judgement!

Negative experience: They Discriminate if you're not white. White dude messes up all class, can't follow instructions, can't shift, and passes! I fail with 1 point over, because my head was not turned sharp enough. DO NOT give them your money, the DMV test is easier and they don't discriminate.

Fantastic experience: Ted, Russ and Luis have been my motorcycle instructor for May 30 and 31st. I want to thank these three wonderful instructors who gave me the confidence and knowledge of motorcycle riding. They broke down the classroom information in ways that is understandable to a novice beginner who have never ride a motorcycle. Once we were on the course, the critique they provided were not ones that discouraged us but build us up. This is crucial because fear can cause a domino effect. Once the techniques were explained, demonstrated and practiced, the fear is replaced with understanding and confidence. Ride Rite instructors such as Ted Russ and Luis, made the experience so awesome. I will continue my practice and work on studying for the motorcycle license I credit these three for their excellent teachings. I will recommend Ride Rite to my friends and family. 5 STARS, A+++ and my thanks to you three.

Positive experience: It could have been a five star school but I wouldn't know since I called and no one answered even during business hours so I left a message. It took 5 hours for a call back which I missed because I was on a work call. Called back immediately and again no one answered and It went to the same employees voicemail. Finally went to another school because they answered.

Fantastic experience: This Motorcycle course was great. Guillermo ‘G’ our range instructor was very good. Time went by fast and I learned a lot about how to control really control my bike. Also they have some nice bikes to train with too. I’d recommend this company. Super chill and laid back. Russ was my classroom instructor. He did a great job too.

Fantastic experience: signed up with 0 knowledge on how to ride a motorcycle, after my first day of the beginners course with Russel and G, i was confident that i knew the basics of how to ride, by the 2nd day i was riding and shifting gears, braking smoothly and really just enjoying all the things i learned, definitely recommend this course if you’ve never been on a motorbike but want to learn, they have a good selection of bikes to practice on and the environment is super welcoming

Fantastic experience: Ted was amazing and patient. I came in with zero experience and by the end of day 1 I was confident. I was able to handle and drive a motorcycle safely and understand the basic controls. Day 2 I learned just as much as the first day. I was able to pull off turns and maneuvers I thought were out of my skill level but with the help of my instructor (Ted) I was able to do it easily. He is very understanding and knowledgeable. I also learned the dangers of driving a motorcycle and how to avoid or get out of dangerous situations. Ted gave an awesome experience I would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: My instructors were insanely helpful and knowledgeable. My class was primarily first time riders and they were so patient with us and made sure we fully understood the instructions we were given as well as first hand examples. They are very thorough with both the class and the riding segments each day. Their encouragement was outstanding and definitely appreciated. The course itself was fun and exciting and they are able to tell you if you passed at the and of the 2 day course. They said it takes a week to receive your completion certificate in the mail but my class was Monday and Tuesday and i received my certificate that Thursday. I couldn't be happier with the experience i had and would highly recommend this class to anyone. I'm waiting for them to have their intermediate course and I will be taking that as well! Thanks ride rite staff, you gave me the confidence and knowledge i needed to pursue this dream I've had for so long!!

Fantastic experience: I had never ridden a motorcycle prior and had no knowledge of how to operate one prior to attending this class. After the first day, I felt confident that I could get on any bike and comfortably ride it. After the second day, I learned so much more in regards to maneuvering and avoiding potential risks. Richard is absolutely an amazing teacher that made it fun to learn about all of the safety precautions and has invaluable technique tips that are a huge bonus to everything else he teaches. Ian couldn’t have been a better teacher out on the range. He took his time and made sure I understood what I was learning. I would take this class again for the opportunity to learn more from Richard and Ian. I highly recommend this class to everyone who rides, rather you’re just starting out or are a seasoned rider. This class is phenomenal!

Positive experience: I went there long ago (2014) for a class and it was amazing. I recently contacted them to get a copy of creds which they couldn't produce. I don't hold it against them since it's been 6+ years. I would strongly reccomend Ride Rite. Just maybe admin stuff could be done and kept digitally for people.

Fantastic experience: I have never been on a motorcycle until my homie Instructor Russ convinced me to go for it after a few beers at Post 241. When learning new things, I am usually really confident in my learning abilities. But when I first got on a motorcycle, I was like a fish out of water. My confidence was shot to Sh1t after stalling out again and again. And when I finally got out of 1st gear, my frustration got the better of me and I was wored. I even called a personal timeout during class to recuperate my brain. I dont think we were allowed to do that though (-__-) The class portion was very informative and well delivered. All instructors are very knowledgeable and has a very relaxed loving kind of warmth. I felt the instructors really care for our overall safety and well being on a motorcycle. I have learned many live saving technics. Whenever I get on my bike, I will think of my awesome instructors. Lastly, I want to give thanks to all who works for the motorcycle safety program. Thank you all for being very attention to details and big thanks for being Honest with us. I wholeheartedly appreciate all of your honesty when I didn't pass my first drive exam. Not passing was a true motivator for me to take motorcycles seriously. Please continue to do a superb job in teaching the people how to safely handle a motorcycle.

Fantastic experience: Had a blast in the basic riding course with Richard, Dave, Kristy and Allan last weekend. They all did a wonderful job teaching the basics and how to stay safe on the road. I can definitely see that having some sort of riding experience makes this class a bit easier. Coming to this class with zero knowledge of how a bike operates or a manual transmission will make it difficult. I’ll be back for a higher level class in the future!! Thank you guys.

Fantastic experience: My long overdue review! The class was amazing and I can't thank Ted, Richard and David enough, they really know their stuff and they made the class FUN, plus, we did really have a good group of students in this class which I'm sure helped. Though I was not really a "beginner" I still learned a lot and gained a ton of confidence in my riding from taking the beginner course and it was obvious what my weaknesses were and they helped me through it, answering all of my questions and even demonstrating the things that were harder to explain. I will most definitely be signing up for the intermediate course ASAP, with one of my classmates I still keep in touch with and look forward to it. Thanks again guys! You're great!

Fantastic experience: Great instructors, learned a lot even though I took a class 11 years ago. Ian, Bernadette, Bob, and Dan were entertaining and gave very constructive feedback in the classroom and on the riding range. I had to take the riding skills portion a second time, as it should be. You don't want instructors giving a passing grade willy nilly, defeats the whole purpose of making you a safer and more proficient rider. Will be looking forward to taking more advanced riding lessons in the future. Thank you all for your time! I went to the Lake Elsinore location due to scheduling all the way from Irvine.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience! I've riden for awhile, this course was great for you weather you have never been on a bike or you are experienced. Great for a refresh and to get better at handling your bike at slower speeds. Which if you have never riden you will know is much harder than speed. Plus you get an insurance break and can skip the permit process! The instructors where great and really helpful for all levels of riders. Hilghy recommend!

Fantastic experience: I went and took the beginning course to get get my motorcycle learners permit and I was worried that it was going to be like an ok we have your money now we need to get you out the door with a pass or fail. But that wasn't how it is they want you to learn and if your willing to learn you will learn alot. This course made a big difference in my riding I had only ever riden off road before this course. So it wasn't like I was entirely new to riding bikes but yeah. Course made a big dodifferen in my riding no doubt

Fantastic experience: Took the family for a weekend in Lake Elsinore to learn to ride. None of us had much experience and the step-by-step process was set at a comfortable pace. The instructors were amazing and this was an experience that I am glad I had!! I would highly recommend ANYONE WITH THE SLIGHTEST INTEREST IN RIDING, CALL RIDE RITE!! They will exceed your expectations!
