Fantastic experience: The best!

Fantastic experience: Got my first motorcycle ever back in April and quickly signed up to get my endorsement through John’s class. He kept it fun, high energy and extremely entertaining. He imparted a wealth of knowledge and supportive instruction that gave me far more than the basic fundamentals of riding. My only regret is that I’ll only be able to take HIS class for the first time only once!

Negative experience: The owner John Pretti has been nothing but a problem since signing up for the class. They do not go by the hours advertised for their classes since after singing up I immediately get a text saying to be ready to be there all day Saturday and Sunday. I replied to his text and explain that this won’t be possible for me since I have to work later on in the day and I picked his course due to the hours THEY advertised. He then called me and with an attitude explained that the Florida online E-course is down and it may go back up by the class he then aggressively started saying he's done with his business and this is the last class he's doing, that he’s tired of dealing with everything and the FLDMV that he’s sold everything and he’s done. This didn’t sit well with me since this was my first interaction with John and he’s already having an attitude, showing aggression and saying he’s shutting his doors after the class I signed up for. He was very rude about it and was rude from the get go. When we had sever bad weather pending for the entire weekend I tried to inquire if the class is still going to be held since the person who was covering my shift at work until I got there was wanting to know so they could make plans if they didn’t need to cover me. I tried calling him but he didn’t answer and his voicemail said to text so I did which I though was fine since he first made contact with me via text and then called me. He then was rude about me asking if it was still on even though it was a valid question with the pending bad weather. Unfortunately Friday night I had a family emergency that took me out of town for the weekend so I texted him since he doesn't answer his phone and apologized for not making it Saturday morning and explained to him the situation and asked him to see what my options were to see if maybe i can get squeezed in or maybe a private lesson to make up for it. I get a one word response “NO” and then right after he called me and started cursing me out saying im asking for a refund, which I never asked for, and kept saying this is why im not doing this anymore because of people like you, i had people begging to take the class and you didn’t even show! He kept trying to belittle me asking how old I was and talking down to me for trying to communicate with him. Once again I never asked for a refund knowing there is a no refund policy but they do have a $60 reschedule fee so I thought maybe something could be worked out due to the family emergency. Instead he cursed me out and belittled me when I’m dealing with something major in the family. He cold heartedly went off on me after I apologized for not making it and tried to explain why! If this is how he runs a business I would stay away from any business he owns. He turned a very bad family emergency into something worse and cursed me out just for asking what my options were since I was not able to make it. John Pretti seems to be unstable and needs anger management or therapy. I was never rude nor did I stooped to his level of behavior and even asked him several times why is he was being this way when I’m trying to solve a problem and dealing with something major and never asked for a refund, I just asked what my options were and he kept saying I’m asking for a refund when I said I wasn’t and he assumed I was asking for a refund. Never have I had a business owner blow up on me and belittle me like this crazy man did. Stay away from John W Pretti and any current or future businesses he many own!

Fantastic experience: Took my course here earlier this month, August 2023, and it was a pleasure. John and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to learn from. We had riders of different skill levels, from complete novice to not-quite-a-beginner (myself included in the complete novice group), and they made us all feel right at home. I can't recommend them enough, and I definitely recommend them to everyone I know that wants to take an MSF course to get their license. Great folks to teach you how to ride.

Fantastic experience: This was a great class and helped out tremendously. The instructors were there to help and made us feel comfortable with the riding lessons. No pressure! My recommendation is to pick a date when it's not 98 outside (there is no shade on the track).

Fantastic experience: 100% legit and a no pressure class regardless of skill level. A really beneficial and FUN operation. Great bikes, supportive and proffessional instructor and team. Again regardless of your experience level, you will come out of it a better rider than when you came in and had some good laughs in the process.

Fantastic experience: I recommend this course and John to all my friends who are interested in motorcycling. My brother took the class with me and he went from never having touched a motorcycle to being the only one in our group to get 100% on the practical. 10/10 experience.

Fantastic experience: The class has the perfect amount of rigor and a great balance between business and pleasure, but the real selling point is John, the instructor. He's funny, snarky, helpful, and truly committed both to his job and to playing his part in developing motorcyclists who know and use safe practices. The exercises sound intimidating at first, but this fades away after John demonstrates and has you practice them a dozen times -- or slightly more, like me, if you needed extra time to build up your confidence. I'm excited to be able to say that I went from not knowing how to put on my helmet correctly to being able to ride like a not-completely-new rider. If you're looking to learn, sign up with John about a week before you will meet on-site, so that you can do a little bit of the online course every afternoon/evening.

There's also quite a few different bikes to choose from and I got to take mine on a brand-new z125! I left his class and went right up the street in Monticello and got my license the same day. Fantastic experience: Best decision I could’ve made when it comes down to where to get your endorsement! I was a bit upset thinking my whole weekend would be spent in a boring class environment, but Mr. John sure knows how to keep everyone engaged and make it fun and informative! I’ve had some prior experience riding a motorcycle but I still learned valuable skills and knowledge. Some new and improved swerving skills potentially saved my life the next day as a truck was driving in front of me and large cardboard boxes started flying from the back of his truck! Would I recommend this place? Heck ya! Would I do it again if I could? Heck yaaa!!!

Fantastic experience: I have never rode a motocycle in my life, and after taking this course, I was able to confidently hop on a even larger bike than what is provided at the course with ease. The Coach has a very big personally and love keeps things fun and light hearted but will make sure you are completely aware of the MANY dangers that come with riding. Fantastic experience: Had my course back in February of 2019. Super great teachers who where very helpful. My entire class passed and not a single person dropped their bike. I started my journey after here with a Honda Rebel 300, to a Honda CB650R and now enjoying things on my Honda Rebel 1100. Would highly recommend any and all interested riders to attend courses here!

Fantastic experience: John was very knowledgeable about control and handling of motorcycles and also had great tips based on his years of experience as a motorcycle police officer. He focused on the rider and ensured each person was comfortable with each portion of the course versus just trying to push students through the program. In addition to John being personable and attentive to students, he was very easy to schedule a class date with and agreed to change dates to accommodate for weather concerns. My motorcycle has an aftermarket intake so riding in rain is a no go for me. John made rescheduling the course super easy and did so without any fuss or trying to charge for changes. I would absolutely recommend this course and John as the instructor to anyone. I will be coming back for more. Jason Willis
