Fantastic experience: My man Stan goes above and beyond to keep updates rolling in. Paul and Stan are a very knowledgeable couple of guys that’ll make sure your bike is taken care of. If there’s anything that doesn’t appeal to you they’ll have it taken care of immediately.

Negative experience: Besides great customer service the execution wasn’t there. Stan was a great guy, but the repairs were not completely done when I took the bike home and examined it thereafter. I needed fork seals repaired, which were done but the bolts were not tightened down, sticking about an inch out. Thank God the bolts didn’t come out when I rode it back home. In addition I was told my rear tire was going flat so I was informed to buy a new set by the shop (tread was plenty on old set). I paid a general diagnostic fee for the motorcycle upfront, and when the shop told me I needed new tires because my rear tire was going flat, I trusted their advice. But it turns out the rear tire was originally not seated properly -something I thought the shop would catch, but I ended up having to buy brand new tires…for no reason essentially. Then when I dropped off the new tires they didn’t seat the rear tire correctly so my brand new rear tire wasn’t holding air when I checked it a few days later. I called another mechanic and he came to show me the rear tire was not seated properly and that was why it was losing air. I ended up having to pay the mechanic because he diagnosed and fixed the tire, even though it was the shop’s mistake. Stan did try to rectify the situation, and was more than willing to come pick up the bike and fix the tire, but I already paid the mobile mechanic to fix the shop’s mistake. So it would have been better for maybe a refund, but I didn’t ask so thats my fault. Overall the shop is very knowledgeable and was of great help when I told him my problems but it was already a headache transporting the bike to and from Bike repair, in addition I paid $860 for forkseals and tire mounting which never really got completed properly. I hope you guys are more thorough next time. I do appreciate the help though. Happy holidays, ride safe!

Fantastic experience: I can't express how good this shop is. I have been going to this shop for every maintenance and upgrades needed on my bike. The staff is knowledgeable and Paul Carter really is a master of his craft. I always leave learning something new even after riding over 12+ years. Chain and sprocket sets, a great set of tires that fits my riding style! Every time I’ve worked with them they have gone above and beyond to make sure everything Is taken care of properly! Fantastic experience: Had my 2005 zx6r serviced and couldn’t be more satisfied with the result. Bike had trouble starting and wasn’t able to ride it to the shop. Stan was able to provide a solution and work around my schedule for the bike to get towed by Paul. He kept in contact with me and sent updates throughout the process. Stan is a down to earth individual and I’m able to talk to him like a friend which made the whole experience even better. Negative experience: EXTREMELY SHADY/UNPROFESSIONAL Paul worked on my bike and I let him know based on my own research it needed a new ECU. He was able to find one and said it would be around $250 for a new one, but he was gonna hook me up with only $20 to install it since it was such an easy job and he would get the part ordered ASAP. I called him later that week for a status update and he became VERY aggressive over the phone saying that "he hasn't gotten his money yet" and that I was "changing his tune on him" I was confused because I've NEVER had a shop request payment before work is completed and Ive been riding for the better part of 10 years and owned cars that have had work done, we never had discussed an up-front payment so his attitude caught me completely off guard; 1st major red flag. Come to find out that the reason he wanted money up front is because he straight up lied about how much the part cost. He got the part at like $90 but in the end charged me almost $300 for a job that required removing the back seat and plugging something in. Literally 15 minutes of work. All that said, take your business elsewhere, dude comes off as polite but is aggro and untrustworthy. Pictures and reciepts for proof of interaction and payment.

Fantastic experience: Took the engine of my 07 zx10r here for some timing adjustments and head resurfacing. Paul was extremely professional and answered any questions I had regarding the work. I was able to reach out to him at any time during the process for updates and he always got back to me in a timely manner. Despite the wait time due to him being so popular, I managed to get my engine back in a reasonable time frame and get my bike running and back out on the road just in time for summer. Everyone at the shop was super friendly and I plan on bringing any work I can't do on my own to them so that I know it gets done right.

Fantastic experience: First time to get my bike serviced at Sportbike repair. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Paul (owner) with a handshake and a smile. I explained to him I had just purchased my bike and i needed a tire change and a quick look over. Paul was able to get me in and had his employee Two Time start on it. While looking over my bike Paul advised me that my rear sprocket had some wear on it and would probably need to be replaced in the near future. Luckily, Paul had one on hand and I opted to have it replaced since the rear tire was already coming off. There was no pressure to replace anything but just an educated suggestion. Paul and Two Time were very personable and extremely helpful. Paul has now gained a new customer for life. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Paul was very knowledgeable and had the clutch on my Daytona 675 replaced very quickly! He also worked at accommodating me by having the bike towed to the shop. Once I got the bike back I was able to do a 300 mile ride back home with no issues. Highly recommend Paul and his assistant's services!

Negative experience: It seemed like he didn't want work on my motorcycle after he got the diagnosis of it, just kept putting me off and never gave me a date on when his next opening was after he told me to order the parts for it and I waited on him for about a month in a half afterwords kept asking him to just give a date that would work for him and all I got was hope you find someone else horrible way of managing your business and customers if I could I'd give this shop a zero star but it won't allow it

Negative experience: After he picked up my bike he charged 200 for a diagnostic and said there were gonna be things in the future that we’d probably run into I said that’s fine we’ll take care of the issue at hand which was the fuel pump. When I picked it up after 3 weeks the gear shift came by off after backing it out. He then said he didn’t want anything to do with the bike and there was only enough room for paying customers. I have to now find another mechanic and tow to pick up my unfinished bike

Fantastic experience: Paul is a Phenominal person and Mechanic. I brought my bike in to get a diagnosis and oil change. 04 Honda F4i with about 30k on it, so I was nervous on what it might need. He was meticulous about the little details on the bike that make sense to work on right away, while compiling a list of other recommended services when the time is ready. Prices were Great, and timing of completion was Fast! He sits down and speaks to you as a friend. You WANT a person like this with years of knowledge and wisdom on how to SERVICE a bike, but also able to handle one on the TRACK as well! I definitely will be going back to get work done!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service and personality. As many reviews have noted, Paul is friendly, knowledgeable, and will talk you through any repair or modification you would like to make. I, being a teacher needed a chain & sprocket replacement done on my commuter Versys 650 and I had it back basically the same day. He even did an inspection on the bike to make sure I wasn't in need of anything, free of charge. He did the entire job for less than what other shops quoted me for just labor alone, and I got a higher quality part. Every time my wife and I visited the shop, we had a 45 min conversation with Paul, just because. He loves what he does and it shows in the work. His ability to talk with you about what you need or might want helps build your confidence that you are making the best choices. I recommend this business and owner to anyone looking for a personal experience.

Fantastic experience: Lots of reviews about Paul, but let me talk about the service. Got new brakes, chain and sprockets installed, and front and rear tire. Just on the ride home I could tell everything was done in a quality manner. The bike feels much more solid, shifts more smoothly, and everything I felt was off about the bike feels right now. Paul went out of his way to check extra items and make sure that fluids were good and did a bang up job mechanically after checking the chain tension and air pressure and feeling of the tires. 10/10 will be back for a lot more work. As a side note, the pricing was VERY fair, and he worked around my crazy schedule while still being prompt.

Fantastic experience: Great experience Paul is really good mechanic he replaced the rectifier and stater on my zx10r the rectifier that was sent to him was defective it started sending 18 volts to the system I informed him and without hesitation said bring it back I did he replaced the rectifier with another new one and even replaced the headlights that blew for nothing . And he gave me a good price to begin with for the work I needed done I will b taking my bikes to him for whatever work they need done .

Fantastic experience: I have two older Kawasaki motorcycles, a 2003 ZX-12R and a 2005 ZX-10R that Paul has worked on. I decided because of age of the two bikes to upgrade the braking systems and other wear-parts and Paul did an excellent job. I keep my bikes in immaculate condition as the photos show and would know if any problems where present and have mechanical experience, in other words Paul did a great job on everything! I have not had a bad experience yet with Paul at Sport Bike Repair and put the negative reviews here as anomalous and lacking credibility for me. I will keep using Paul's shop without hesitation, I trust him!

Negative experience: Very nice guy but brought my bike for a ecu and fuel pump install and when I picked the bike up the front breaks were shot because he didn’t know how to bleed brakes I guess which is a big deal going 150+ and no brakes and messed up my buddy’s engine install and it blew up after driving it home. Good prices but he doesn’t take pride in anyone’s stuff but his own. Will not be wasting time here bc it’s super in safe that he doesn’t care

Negative experience: Don’t know start from where, when I called Paul about my bike he was talking all nice friendly, long story short I was trusted Paul I paid him over 500$ for what ever my bikes need, told him my bike fairings wasn’t in great shape but after he’s service got worse he didn’t screw enough break and shift lever cup. when I got my bike next day break fluid was over flow from break cup and he didn’t screw it was very loose, my bike left side mirror washer was missing Paul told me shaking but it’s not big problem when I was riding bike my mirror was so shaking that you could not see who was behind you, I end the up open fairings and installed something that I find in my house, the reason I waited for this review, 3 day ago took my bike extreme power sport, and they ,told me my break fluid and my break was done wrong and my fairings missing a lot screw and push pins, I didn’t mind paid 500++$ for labor, Paul friendly nice talking, I wish he’s service like that too, but he didn’t give my bike good service, I don’t think I’ll take my bike to Paul ever again. 2010 vfr1200f

Negative experience: Paul was recommended to me, but I should have read these reviews first. I brought my Ninja 1000 R to Paul to have the brakes looked at. He bled them and said that was all that was wrong. When I picked up my bike, they were still very soft and I assumed something else must be wrong with them. After taking them to another shop and getting them looked at they bled the brakes correctly and now they work like a champ! I called Paul to let him do the right thing and refund my card for his poor bleed job but he got upset. In reading some of the other reviews this guy can get angry! To his credit he did apologize for raising his voice by the end of the 10 minute conversation. However, he still didn't do the right thing and credit my card. You get what you pay for isn't always true, he was even more expensive then the shop that fixed it properly.

Negative experience: I will testify in court and I will gladly take a polygraph test! THIS HAPPENED! “Super Nice” Highly reccommeded and “Devout Jehovah’s Witness”, Yells and Curses at me in front of my wife and Threatens me by saying “We need a desk between us, or else”. He became aggressively upset all when calmly asked why he had not replaced my oil, oil filter, and coolant with the oil, oil filter and coolant that I provided him. The scene was escalated further when I requested to please provide me specific details of the completed job, and importantly, the valve adjustment; he provided me only vague specs on scratch paper (I have the picture to prove it). I have very questionable doubts the work was done as he claims. Firstly, he did not replace my fluids, filters or coolant as requested. Secondly, he cursed at me and threatened me. Because of these transgressions, how can I trust anything? Who Curses and Threatens customers? The air filter, as he claims he replaced and charged me for, was not even replaced (stock filter still in place) as witnessed and photographed by a local certified motorcycle mechanic. I took my Perfectly running R6 for a routine fluids, air filter and plugs change; he highly recommended a $900 valve check and adjustment job, even though, now knowing, 5-7 dealerships in Texas all said to wait until 26k as the Yamaha manual recommends; my bike had 9500 miles! I entrusted this guy and even paid him $1400 five days in advance per his request. In all, I paid $1400 for simple maintenance and a valve check and adjustment 16k miles too early. I offered him an opportunity, via email, to refund me $1100 of $1400 and he stated, “I had fabricated most everything, so he would not be responding.” I spent another $700 at an Authorized motorcycle dealership to ensure my bike was safe to ride. I am not sure how people are able to erase yelp reviews? My gut, is he will remove this review immediately. Lets ALL read what his clever response is. BIZARRE/SURREAL EXPERIENCE! PLEASE BEWARE!

Fantastic experience: What a great place! And Paul, an honest, down to earth guy who will go above and beyond too not only educate you but to correct any issues you have. And if he can't do it... He'll have alternatives for you. He's somewhat become a mentor for this noob. People like Paul are the lube that keeps the chains of the world turning smoothly.
