New York Safety Track

Fantastic experience: This place is absolute paradise. That’s where I really learned how to ride a motorcycle. The owners and workers are extremely nice and respectful. The other folks there feel like a family. So many great memories. Needless to say they k ow what they’re doing.

Negative experience: The staff was very nice while I was on the phone paying, but now it’s one day before track day and all 4 of my calls and all texts have been ignored. Just looking for basic entry info. I’d love a refund but fully assume attempts at that will be ignored as well. Lit.

Fantastic experience: This was my fourth time at a track day and three have been here this place rocks I'm originally from Vermont and now live in the state of Georgia but came up and had a track day with my friends from CycleWise in Middlebury Vermont we had an amazing day as always track is awesome and the setting is nice as well. My next track day is going to be at Jennings GP in Jennings Florida.

Fantastic experience: Five Stars All The Way! NYST Team is super helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Whole team from the instructors, staff to the repair shop mechanics are GREAT! They are all willing to help and making sure that you learn, improve and enjoy your time there. At one point I realized my rear tire was losing air, before I ask for help mechanic guys noticed and came for help. They took care of the problem and would not accept any payment, Wow! I can not wait to go back. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

They had a suspension guy there, he was awesome and so helpful! Like I said 10 out of 10 would recommend and visit on a bucket list.

Fantastic experience: Did my first track day in my '04 R53 MINI Cooper a few weeks ago. This place is amazing. It is definitely a motorcycle focused track but it is also a wonderful place for cars. Elevation changes and many different corners. Staff is very welcoming and willing to teach you the proper line, be it by "towing you" around the track or out of the car by their track map.

Fantastic experience: This track has been my summer weekend home for the past 6yrs. Great place to learn how to become a better and safer rider. My whole family rides here and we travel 4hrs one way to get here. There's closer tracks but none of them offer the experience of NYST!!

Negative experience: Ridiculously loud place, all day everyday, you can hear it for miles. The entire community can’t have a waking hour of peace outside in the summer. God it be awesome for just ONE day off a week.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time doing a track day. And I have to say it was one of the best days I have ever had. The people like Manny and all the instructors are amazing. They make sure everyone understands and they are accessible to talk to, to ask questions. Just a bunch of cool guys. NYST rookie. The best time ever. They got me hook now I need a track bike. I def will be back. I have to recommend this place as a bucket list event. Amazing.

Negative experience: Near the end of a Car Track Day, someone began skeet shooting that totally PEPPERED the lower paddock area with shot. Several people were hit and vehicles as well. No one up at the main area knew anything about it. Luckily none was hurt or vehicles damaged, but SCARY STUFF! NO THANKS!!!

Positive experience: First time to this track, parking is meant for motorcycles/trailers, not much good parking for cars/trailers. I think I set a pretty good lap with my 2002 BMW M5 with a 1:41.08 lap, I am pretty sure a few more days on this track would shave off a couple more seconds.

Fantastic experience: Ran "downtown" for the first time the other day. What a brain scramble. I've run the "uptown" direction a few times, but downtown is like a completely different track. Different braking points, decreasing radius turns and coming over Wheelie Hill completely blind to the other side at 70mph is.... challenging.

Positive experience: Excellent track for driving. Facilities need a little attention, but otherwise it was great.

Fantastic experience: I went there for a SAAB track day I had an awesome time. The track was a blast. The event was well organized. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to take their car around a road course.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic experience. The track is an outstanding layout - very technical, not a horsepower track, so smaller bikes can hold their own. The staff and coaches are top notch and the place runs like clockwork. Can’t wait to get back.

They have a big campground, you can camp here the night before your track-day. Have a good conversation with friends, discuss about riding and other fun stuff. Fantastic experience: It was my first time on the track for rookie day and it was fantastic! The NYST crew absolutely nail the perfect amount of safety alongside an easy-going, have-fun attitude. A lot of other tracks make you feel like a tiny fish in a large pond with crazy restrictions and harsh attitudes, but NOT at NYST! Super easy to roll up the trailer to the pits, setup shop, get inspected and then ride! Track is really well maintained and the coaches are FANTASTIC. They recognize each individual's ability and adjust their coaching accordingly. If it's your first time you'll be very comfortable, no one will make you feel like you have to go past your comfort zone. The owner is always out talking with the riders and happy to answer questions, provide tips, or share some crazy stories. Oh and let's not forget the great job the ladies in the food shack do! Get the meatball sub and thank me later!

Negative experience: Track itself is great. Very technical. Other than that the place is a dump. Way over crowded and DEFINITELY NOT MOTORHOME FRIENDLY. It would also be nice if they mowed the grass. Sorry but this is the trut .

Fantastic experience: The races were great. I couldn't participate but my friends did.. They had zip line and bounce house obstacle course for the kids, a buffet style dinner and capped the night with fireworks.

Fantastic experience: I do not have words to convey just how incredibly awesome New York Safety track is! Fantastic grip levels! Fantastic flow to the track! Fantastic elevation changes! Okay, I guess I have one word: FANTASTIC! Just be prepared for a sloped pit area. The lower pits have a grade to them. A little awkward but not a big deal. Enjoy!
