Had no plans to purchase a bike, but began talking to a manager who was just plain cool and not pushy and we just talked bikes n hobbies. No pressure, we did the obligatory dance which is part of the fun, and a deal was made. Owner came out and congratulated me… Super impressed with the shop, love my new Street Glide. About the best vehicle buying experience you could hope for. I usually get annoyed with sales people, but this place is different. Check em out for and of their services.

Negative experience: Was told I was approved for a motorcycle I was planning on getting but wasn't told if I didn't put money down n while waiting for financial they would sell it that was really bad drove all the way down for nothing

Negative experience: I’ve been waiting for over a month to get my bike back over a simple circuit breaker. They haven’t called me back once for an update and every time I’ve tried to call the service department I get sent to voicemail… they’ve probably answered 2/10 times “We’ll call you back tomorrow with an update”… yeah, ok. They have never called back. When they finally answered the most recent time they advised they couldn’t test run the bike because of tail light issues (which isn’t true)? They didn’t even make an effort to let the bike idle for X amount of time at the garage to see if the issue was fixed? Very upset with their service and will not be returning. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

Negative experience: I paid for the learn to ride class about 1.5 years ago and this dealership has refunded the class and the manager of the program refuses to call me back to help me. As a business this is pathetic. As a business owner I would releave a couple of managers of their duties. Sense it’s Apparent the job titles they hold are to much for them to hand. He couldn’t even get my name on the class registry. Thats an enters level task. That he can’t complete? Jason is supposed to be a manager? … Interesting

Fantastic experience: The staff were pleasant to speak with. The parts manager answered my questions without any issues. The staff at the parts counter will go out of their way to assist you. The store portion was well stocked with HD merchandise. They also have discounted merchandise to choose from. I got mine. I was a little bummed that they didn't have challenge coins. The sale portion of the location had a huge selection of NEW bikes (sure, wanted to get another one) that you can choose. They also have a good selection of used bikes as well. Come on down and check them out. You will have a great experience.

Chris went out of his way to strike up conversation and give us some nice advice about the area. We asked for a place to check our tire pressure and air up our tires if necessary and they had us pull around to the service area and did it all for us! What?!?! I have never seen service like this. It was extraordinary. If we ever plan to invest in new Harley Davidson, I assure you that we would drive all the way to Chico CA from Medford OR to buy it from these guys simply because of their remarkable customer service! Fantastic experience: Mikey and Chris in the sales department are excellent. Liz handled all the paperwork. She is a joy to be around. All the staff in every department know what they are doing. I had a no pressure experience while test riding a 2021 road king. This was the bike I wanted, which really wasn't the bike for me. I was matched with the perfect bike for me. A 2020 softtail slim. The entire staff are nice and professional. I had a full service done according to the mileage recommended by the service manual for my harley, and the service department is great. They take their time and explain everything. All questions are answered. They explain everything so well, actually there aren't many questions. The parts department is exceptional. They go above and beyond to find what you need/want and I am a challenge because I don't know very much about harley-davidsons. Parts department staff are all so knowledgeable that they can explain the differences in parts and accessories. The clothing and accessories department have a team who are very friendly and easy to talk to. The selection of clothing, leathers, boots, shoes etc is very well covered. They know their stuff so they make sure you get the proper fit and comfort. I love Sierra Steel Harley-Davidson the most because they are family oriented!!! They host many events for you and your children. Photos with Santa . This dealership is beyond great in my book. I tell many people about them.

Fantastic experience: After riding thousands of miles so far, it's nice to come into @sierrasteelharleydavidson after a shift lever issue, and have the kind of customer service you would expect. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Surprisingly, they didn't even charge me for the repair that Mark, in the service department took care of after Jay Ron in the parts department tried to find what I needed. Also, thanks to Sarena in sales for helping my brother Slide out with his lid. Now my brother Compton just got back from a test ride. Let's see what happens...

Negative experience: My Father and Friend rode across the country. While there we needed 3hole oil change. They were able to get us in rather quickly. And had the bikes done quickly that afternoon. Here is where the problems started. First the person that placed the zip-tie on the lever with the key had done so in such a fashion as not being able to release it, it had to be removed with a knife. It was places high up and was hard to get the knife into. While attempting this task my father slipped through and cut his thumb very deep all the way down to the bone. Blood was everywhere and they were not very accommodating in helping him with a bandage. Then the gentlemen that did finally come to help, was not knowledgeable. That was bad but not 100% on them. Then as we left there I went to put my feet up on the highway pegs, and sure enough my left peg went limp and loose. It had been stripped out and ruined. I'm unsure of the way they take care of their local customers but I can grantee me and my father will not be back. As for our friend, they over filled his motor oil and he had oil blowing out to his air filter on his 2014 ultra. Absolutely terrible. I would not recommend to anyone on a long trip.

Positive experience: I'm not happy with the way price haggling happened but Ryan is a consummate professional and they let me test ride their bikes and gave me a free hot dog.

Fantastic experience: Drove 4 hours from Guerneville to purchase a used 2016 lowrider and had a great experience. All of the staff were very nice and informative and I can tell they were all passionate about riding and they worked with me on getting a great price I will come out here again to get my next bike In the future I highly recommend them

Negative experience: The sales people are very pushy and the trade in offer we received was 5,500 less then the dealer in Redding where we went a few hours later to get a bike. They offered us 500.00 for our bike haha. I would not buy a bike from them if they were the last dealer on earth. Beware. We ended up in Redding CA we got a good offer and a no pressure sale.

Negative experience: Do not buy a vehicle from these guys if you plan to service it here too. Service department is absolutely atrocious. They aren’t knowledgeable or capable of preparing, or repairing the vehicles they sell. Ownership has been a nightmare since the start. Delivered me a vehicle that was wildly out of alignment after Intold then to check this prior to delivery (they didn’t), had damaged wheels, and windshield cracked within 48 hours while just sitting in my garage. They never answer their phones or return phone calls. Took them over 20 days to adjust a windshield (1 hour job) and of course it cracked for the second time minutes after leaving their shop and they’re trying to claim it was a rock now vehicle has been inoperable for 30 days with no end in sight because they’re now wiping their hands of the issue they caused and telling me to contact the manufacturer. Absolutely incompetent and highly suggest you purchase and service elsewhere. Update: I see these guys responded to my review which I find interesting they admitted they had to replace the windshield because they installed it incorrectly causing a stress fracture, while completely ignoring the fact that they then started claiming it was a “rock” chip after I left their shop and it cracked again within 50 miles down the road.. the fact that they didn’t address this in their respond to me is all the evidence anyone needs to see to know not to do business here.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing group of people. Was riding and got a flat time. They towed my bike, replaced my tire and brakes. Ok ok no biggie right: Well they were closed. They did this after hours because they were still there. Mechanic stayed over. They all stayed over.

Negative experience: I took my 2007 heritage softail in for service … they did nothing and charged me $180.00 … oh sorry… I’m mistaken… someone took my motorcycle for a ride around town and then they did nothing … so I guess I payed them to do that. I called a mechanic that has his own shop in Gridley and he was able to help me for a simple greasing of the computer terminals !!

Fantastic experience: I visited Sierra steel Harley for the cmsp course. They have several different courses to choose from, I did the 2 day weekend program. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about what you need to know to help you get started with the knowledge to learn how to ride. During the course you are using the Harley fuel injected sport 500. You learn a lot in a short period of time. The instructors for my class was Ricky and Rob. I highly suggest this course if you would like to see if riding a motorcycle is the thing for you.

Fantastic experience: On the road for a few days traveling through Chico and noticed that the shift arm on my 2014 Limited was not tight on the splines and I couldn’t get it tightened up with an Allen wrench. Stopped in at the dealer and Mark totally took care of me. He took it around back and torque it to Spec. True Customer service man! He did it for the sake of doing it. That is the deal! Service did a great job on repairs, and caught everything I already knew was wrong. They had it repaired and ready for me in time, even though it put them in a pinch. (See Mark in service), he's newer but fantastic. Sean/Shawn, (not sure how he spells it) the sales manager is also top notch, once again he's newer but he's eager to help and is on your team! Matt the fitment manager is also great. Super knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. Courtney in DMV is wonderful, I'm sure she got annoyed with my 10k calls a day... and the girl in clothing (can't recall her name) but she/you rock! Bruce the finance manager (kinda behind the scenes guy) didn't see him much but he worked hard to get it done.. My situation was a challenging one and the whole team at sierra steel HD pulled it off. I started this process at another dealership who was not helpful at all! (Won't mention the name) but I pulled out of the deal and went to sierra steel. Sierra steel HD made me feel important, safe, and informed. They met my deadlines and believe me, it was challenging given the time! They will be my go to dealer from now on! Negative experience: Unfortunatly they are failing to honor a Due Bill for repair of damage they caused to a Vanderhall Venice they worked on. The work and damage was done July 2020 and unfortunatly due to covid and money issues owner decided needed to sell. He gave me the Due Bill believing it would be honored. I reached out to ask about them honoring this and even offered options to make it easier and less cost. Unfortunatly they decided since it was sold even though i have copy of original due bill to not honor fixing damages they caused. I am disapointed that this is their decision. I understand things like this can be difficult but this last yr has not been normal. Part 2.Below you will see the company response. Note they didnt refute damaging the machine. They just tried to justify poor responsability as business owner. They say that they could not honor it since i was 3rd party. I woukd say its more case of woukd not vs could not. A personal and profesional choice of integrity. Problem and fact is that the Due Bill from them was still in effect with the dates they wrote. Plus no where did it say in writting non-transferable. So it wouldnt hold up in court. Unfortunatly for me too much trouble for me to travel all that way to Ca from Oregon to sue them in court. The previous owner sold it to me in good faith believing the business would honor their word and written due bill to repair the damage they negligently caused.Too bad they were not willing to stand behind their word and honor a claim to fix something they admitted to damaging with the Due Bill. There is no striving to improve customer experience as they say there. Only excuses why they could not make right what they made wrong. I would still be willing to allow them to improve the situation and modify my review if they stepped up with integrity and honored their word as a business owner. I even offered scenario's to make it easier and less expensive to them. I offered to remove part and ship to them for new powdercoating then they could ship back and I woukd re-install myself. I would even accept in trade a headlight part upgrade that they could get from factory as dealers (less expensive).But they refused innwritting "email" I could even remove and have repaired here and they could reimburse me the cost. But improved customer experience dssnt really mean much other thnn words if no action is followed through with. So I write this as a warning buyer beware of any warranty of workmanship. They may try to find a way to not honor that too. Siera Steel i would be happy to revise this if you show me honorable action vs words of improving customer experience while not honoring a warranty you issued. Feel free to reach out to me and resolve the matter in good faith. Change my mind and opinion and I will be happy to change my review.
