Fantastic experience: I was referred here by a tech from Milwaukee as in Harley Davidson. My pan am special has been a problem since day one. However this dealership has been able to fix most of the real issues. Only issue that no one has a fix for is the below 60 degrees starting issues no biggie its some weird gremlin. I wouldn't really consider the cold start thing an issue. Brought my bike here last week for a loss of rear brake with no fluid loss. Turns out it just needed a brake fluid flush. These bikes seem to be super sensitive to worn brake fluid make sure you check moisture content at the very least yearly. Brake fluid much like on your car is hydroscopic it's supposed to be changed every 2 years. I recommend the service department here. I dropped my bike off in the afternoon next day the called me in the morning and let me know it was fixed. Picked it up and guess what my rear brake worked again and even my front brake felt like it was working like it did the day I bought it. These guys know what they're doing and don't give a hard time to people with the service plans!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this place!!! I’m just sorry I passed Rochester HD to Manchester HD… Wasted 4 hours on 2 trade ins significantly undervalued!!! Went to Rochester HD AND THEY ALL ARE A CLASS ACT FROM START TO FINISH!!! Especially Morgan in the finance dept!!! If you looking I can guarantee they will treat you like family!!! And my wife and I LOOOOOVVVVEEEE the bike!!! Thanks Rochester HD!!! I had to add Derek one of the managers there. He wasn’t even supposed to work Sunday was just there to do one thing and leave but when I came he stopped what he was doing and worked on my 2 trade ins for a fair market value which was pretty higher than fair lol. The deal was done in less than 2 hours start to finish and he wouldn’t leave until it was done!!! CLASS ACT DEREK!!! Last but not least Zach and Robbie!!! Made sure we were taken care of, helped unload my 2 trade ins, touted the store, and of course popcorn lol!!! Again Thanks Rochester HD!!!

I just wish they would come down on their prices for things like boots, shirts, bags etc. They're one of the biggest names out there and honestly do not need to charge what they do for their products. Fantastic experience: This place is now worth checking out; in the past, it had a bad service between parts and the service dept - However, there is a new service manager, who is awesome! - i think his name is Dave - Paul at the service dept was awesome as well - they took care of me, going above and beyond to show me they appreciate my business - Good work, fair price - Highly recommended as of Nov 2023...Highest marks!

Have used the parts department for years, Scott and Wayne are excellent. Always helpful (not always easy finding what fits my CVO) and have recommended Rochester to many friends and even my boss whom purchased a used Harley there.

Negative experience: They want you to buy a motorcycle, but they don't want you to do a test drive it. How are you going to know which bike is best for you if you don't take a test ride.

Positive experience: I own two Harley Davidson motorcycles. I have owned 4 of them. 3 of them were dealership purchases. I can say that like any dealership is, they will always try to up sell. I went into Rochester Harley Davidson with the intent of buying one of their used bikes. I paid for a 2013 CVO road king in cash on the spot. There was a dent on the fender from an apparent mishap from another customer. So I paid to get it repaired. A new fender essentially. The service was excellent, but it went downhill from there. Sure, they thanked me for the purchase, but that fender. 60 days. My bike sat in the dealership for 60 days. To be fair, it only took 15 minutes to install. But it sat in the shop 14 days to get installed.

Negative experience: They are asking $ 6000 over MSRP and they money they offered on a trade was an insult And to top it all off they refused to give me a copy of the offer I feel bad for Morgan the sales associate but I am old enough to remember when Harley Davidson cared about thier customers and not just posting numbers

Fantastic experience: On a recent ride up to NH from NC, I ended up having a dead battery on a Saturday eve. Sunday morning we have coffee and do a google search for "Harley" and are surprised Rochester Harley was within 15 miles, and were not only open on a Sunday, but had Service Dept hours on a Sunday. The service techs had me repaired and out the door in less than an hour. They recognized I was in a bind having a dead/not charging battery, and moved me in as a priority. Could not be more pleased with outcome. My sincere thanks and gratitude for getting Caledonia (my 2011 Road King) back on the road to NC. Y'all were awesome!

Fantastic experience: My daughter brought her used 2008 Sportster here for an oil change and to generally get checked out since she just bought it. This was my first encounter with an HD dealer/shop. Honestly the staff were amazingly friendly. The mechanic who worked on my daughters bike literally stopped me in the parking lot to talk about what he saw on the bike, what should be done and when, and to reassure me that her bike is in good shape and what PM we should be doing and when. This wasn't a planned thing, he was testing another bike, and just happened to spot me getting in my car to go home. I'm sold. You don't see customer service like this anymore anywhere.

Fantastic experience: I bought my second bike, a 2020 softail slim, here at Harrley of Rochester. I wanted to specifically mention a couple of people who were great and went above and beyond. Morgan, my sales person was very patient with me on the day I bought the bike as I was really nervous because the bike was bigger and heavier than my previous bike. She did not rush me and let me take my time as we got ready to take a test ride. She also personally kept in touch with me after she sold me the bike. I definitely would recommend her for your next purchase. Joe, the service manager, also went above and beyond today and got me right in to get the new windshield I purchased put on my bike. He took time personally to make sure I was happy with it before I purchased it and had it put on as well. Kurt, the general manager, also took care of me on a couple of issues I brought to his attention even though he is very busy. I would recommend this location for every aspect from purchasing a bike to apparel. Over the years I have came to this location and all staff have been awesome!
