Fantastic experience: I bought myself a 2024 Road Glide!! I’m so in love with this bike!! What an upgrade from my 2012 Street Glide. Shout out to Amanda who sold me both of these bikes. She is no nonsense and knows her stuff!! She is the only person I will ever buy a bike from! Amanda has become an amazing friend!! All the staff at Ukes were amazing. That includes sales, service, finance, and motor clothes!! My experience here rocked. Did I mention that I rode 4+ hours there and back for this experience?? Go ahead and check them out!!

Negative experience: The service department has dropped the ball and fumbled this one good. So I brought one of my 3 bikes to Uke's numerous times for work on all of them. So a year or maybe 18 months ago bought some mini apes from them and being mechanically inclined I change the cables and installed them myself. The bars were not knurled so I was informed that they will need to pin them in place to make sire they don't move. Letting me know they will not be able to adjust once they are pinned. So after 900 miles they loosened. So thinking Uke's pinned them and it failed so they most likely will back their work. Well that is not the way they do things there apparently. Instead they ordered me a new set of bars on my dime and the labor to change them. They have my bike since mid June and text me on Aug. 9th (the day they said it would be done) with a pic of the clutch cable being too short. Now something I could have done myself again because I changed the brake and clutch cable when I put the mini apes on. I changed them from the stock drag bars. I am going there to pick up my not quite done bike from them this morning. If your gonna do work here its a good idea to own a trailer and bike table yourself. Best investment ever!
Fantastic experience: Visited the dealership on the way from Chicago to Milwaukee. What a great place to stay. I was positive surprised about the small, but very nice exhibition on the first floor and about the history of the owner and the family. Great selection of Harley Davidson accessories, as well as clothes and other stuff. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will come again, for sure!

Fantastic experience: Great service. Attentive and knowledgeable personnel. Got the beginner riding course here too which adds to the variety of services they provide. The course was VERY insightful and the 2 coaches (Randy & Chris) were very knowledgeable, helpful (and patient). This place is a little piece of Wisconsin history.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been riding for about 3 years and never got my license, just been riding on my permit. I figured I might as well just take the actual road test and not spend the money on a class. My husband on the other hand pushed me to take the class and oh my gosh it was so worth it. The coach was amazing, he worked with us, made sure we were prepared and set us up for the best results possible. It was also so fun while learning a lot of basic skills that I didn’t know even tho I’d been riding before. Definitely recommend to everyone who wants to get on two wheels.

Negative experience: 2nd bad experience with service dept. 1st I brought my new bike in because the left pipe was loose swaying about an inch. Service told me this was normal. I immediately went to sales floor and checked other bikes...no loose pipes! They then agreed to look at my exhaust and discovered a bad exhaust mount! 2nd, had a front wheel replaced by Ukes late last summer and immediately noticed a hum noise and vibration in handlebars. Brought in for service and they had to adjusted a misaligned bearing and it seemed a bit better. I brought my bike in today because my new front wheel by Ukes still makes a hum noise and handle bars vibrate when I lean either way. Service said they took it for a ride and couldn't duplicate the problem and then charged me $119 stating nothing was wrong with the wheel.... Mind you the repair and the bike is still under factory warranty and wheel still humming and vibrating! (2022 Road King). They noted on work order that the cause maybe due to aftermarket lower fairings …even though they say can’t duplicate problem. Service manager told me he can't warranty service because his service tech said the wheel is ok. He then said " do you think I would let you ride the bike if I thought the bike wasn't safe”? They thought the original wheel replacement was safe, but it wasn't and had to repair it! Would not recommend this dealer.

Negative experience: Called them once for a grip I needed on my handlebars. Told them I had a 99’ Dyna Lowrider. The employee at the parts desk then called my bike a P.O.S to the guy I was on the phone with. They do great work, but after that experience I don’t like giving them my service

Negative experience: Stopped by to see if they were interested in buying a bike. The "buyer" said "I hate chrome". So, okay, goodbye. As a side note, I believe Harley sells a lot of chrome.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely blown away. My fiancé wanted to buy me a motorcycle and we went to a few dealerships in Illinois and got quite a lot of flak for her wanting to buy it for me. Absolutely no problems at Uke’s. She actually went in completely with out me and was treated like absolute gold. She was helped by Kurt, who not only treated her with complete respect, helped her track down the exact color and bike I wanted and in no time we were set up. John in finance was amazing too! We got the bike we wanted, a price we were happy with, and now we are getting our brand new bike delivered Saturday and couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend anyone in Illinois considers crossing the boarder and talking to these guys!

Negative experience: Harley Riding Academy: Do not sign up for the class if you are a novice. I am an average-sized woman who has never ridden a Harley before but went with the supposed image of what Harley means. The husband/wife coach: Randy and Kris Olk are knowledgeable, but Randy has no patience for mistakes/teaching. If a novice rider did not get the exercise, they were ushered out. The first day, two hours into the rider course, Randy ushered a student out. How can a novice know about a motorcycle after only two hours? For me, I made it to Sunday, and I was ushered out of the class because I could not weave in/out of the cones or stay in the lines for “S” turns. I told Randy that the bike was too heavy for a novice. Response (rude): that’s what Harley provides, go elsewhere then. In checking with two other motorcycle riding schools, learned that the Harley motorcycle I was on was over 400 pounds – wow. The motorcycles the other two schools used for a novice was 250 to 275 pounds - half the weight of the Harley. Both schools (not Uke’s Harley) also told me that it is important for newbies/novice riders to receive action analysis and suggestions for actions to be corrected and a chance to work on what was suggested - NOT USHERED OUT OF THE RIDING CLASS WITHOUT A CHANCE. The riding activity is supposed to give a student the skills to build upon. Not scare or intimidate them. To me, it’s like having a student driver learn driving with a semi-truck. Not knowing the Harley motorcycle tank that I would be learning to ride on – would cause me to waste $378.99 on the class. Not knowing the impatience of the instructor (Randy) also gave me a negative attitude about a Harley. If you want to learn how to ride a motorcycle with instructors that care and with motorcycles that are designated for a novice, check the other motorcycle riding schools. At least you will pass and not waste $378.99

Fantastic experience: Moved out of state. Wanted the same helmet I already owned from 2019. It was an obsolete sku and no longer in production in a rate color. Thanks to KARLEE I was able to get a helmet ordered through another HD location. She went way above and beyond to help me track down this helmet. There was literally only 1 other place in the country that had this color scheme and because of Karlee and her commitment to customer service I was able to buy it. Excellent experience!

Fantastic experience: I was on a road trip following the coast all the way around lake Michigan. I was 300 and some miles away from home when a wheel bearing went out on my Road King. I didn't figure I should try to go any further so I pulled out my sleeping bag and slept in a church parking lot. The next morning I stopped at Uke's. They got me in immediately and in an hour or less I was back on my adventure. Thank you so much Uke's for getting me back in the wind. The gentleman that helped me in the service department was very helpful and I was able to speak directly with the technician that fixed my bike. Also, I don't know what they did to my jiffy stand but it has never lol, never worked so smoothly and nice. Thanks Uke's!
Fantastic experience: Pretty small dealership, but still a fairly nice selection of items. The cool little museum upstairs makes the stop worthwhile. They were one of the only places that actually had a band on the holiday Monday. :-)

Fantastic experience: Kurt sold me my beautiful heritage softtail and John helped me get all the finance B's out of the way and I gotta say. Both of these guys really went to bat for me and went above and beyond. Negative experience: I walked into a bull ring of sales people just hanging out talking. I was finally approached 15 minutes after walking in and was asked if I was buying anything today. Once I said Just looking, The guy walked away only to continue the conversation with the other 3 people. No customer service. Maybe they use the place as a tax write off. They just don't seem to care and unfortunately it reflects on the Brand
Negative experience: Well for me this place definitely did not give my 2017 Street Glide the care and repair they speak so highly of. To make long story short. Took my bike there for winter storage. 21 days before pick up just so happen to stop in and shop with the lovely ladies in sales. Went over to service and got hit with the need to be done list. WOW really guys what happen to the phone call 4 months ago. There excuse we had a lot going on Sorry. No worries.... Bike fix now .... 1 day before pick up im ready to ride cant wait to get her back. Phone ring look its Ukes finally got my first phone call.. All Bad... We are sorry went to start your bike and the amplifier went out. Get my bike back 30 days later with and extra 100 miles on it that i did not put on there. But who cares lets ride. OMG the speakers from the bages and the fairing just went out. Yup you guess it they never set the settings correctly after installing the amplifier. No worries Sound Decision is my new best friend. Never received a phone call back from Ukes after the complain. No worries you can charge it to the game. I paid enough to keep myself away.

I’ve also always done business with their service department exclusively. It’s a family owned and run business and when I go there I’m always recognized as and greeted. They also sponsor a great HOG chapter. No reason to even think about going anywhere else.

Negative experience: A friend of mine went there not too long ago, was very unprofessional. used profanity while talking to me and my friend. Also tried to falsify documents under his name. I highly recommend trying another store for your Davidson products as these ones are not worth being harassed by the employees there. We called about an issue we had with something we bought and (i forgot his name) lied to me started to raise his voice and hung up. We went back and returned it all and went somewhere else.

Negative experience: They called the cops because they forgot to ring up the helmet I came there for.... they told the cops I stole it even though they bagged it up and put it at the cash register, their is much better places to go for parts and such

Fantastic experience: Bought my bike last month January 2021... Kurt was my sales guy and I just have to say that first off I will only by from Ukes in the future based on my experience there with Kurt. Second there was no hassle and no pushing you into a sale, with a completely laid back and fun atmosphere The way buying a bike should be. Kurt was knowledgeable and a straight up good guy. They even picked up my trade and brought my new bike to my house. Thanks Kurt and thanks Ukes!!

Negative experience: Rude salespeople. Slow and dim witted parts people. Lousy service department. Greedy owners that only care about how much of your money they can get. Everything is overpriced. Poor selection on bikes and accessories. Large office worker walking around and bumping everything with her hips. Really weird, try a salad once in awhile. Bathroom was clean.
Fantastic experience: Quiet in the winter but the guys are always fun to talk to and share stories with. Harley is like a family!
