Negative experience: Where do i start? Took my Street Glide to be tuned, they kept it 3 weeks. Couldn’t find the problem. Over $1000 later, it still doesn’t run right. Loose wires, vent hoses loose. Sent their “custom file” to Dyno Jet, they said it was a Dyno Jet unedited base tune file. They didn’t see how it ran good at all. Put my old Fuel Pack tuner on, runs perfect. I texted 3 times, asking for a partial refund. Got no response at all. Do yourself a favor, look for tuning and communication elsewhere. Update….i have texted 5-6 more times, zero response. I even texted a picture of the text where he said “we never leave anybody hanging”….

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time with the service department . A thousand dollars later and my bike still doesn’t run properly . Waste of time and money. If you need your bike fixed try a different repair shop don’t waste your time with this place

Negative experience: So bad service, I havent rode my bike been over seas for 15 years. Called to get the carb rebuild and gas tank cleaned and they said they really didnt have time or didnt wantto take on this kind of project right now they had enough business with getting bikes ready for bike week. Fantastic experience: Just bought a 2024 Road glide, pearl white and blacked out. Thank you Tara, Jamie and Larry for your professional assistance in getting it done. As a salesperson Tara is the best, she's knows the product and helps you find the bike that you want. Jamie is the sales manager and he makes the purchase smooth and get you out the door quickly. Larry is in parts and he can make it all better with everything that you need for your ride to make it your own. My wife and I both felt like we were part of the family through the whole process, and when we need another bike, we'll be going back to Cox's Harley Davidson.

Negative experience: While out of state I, stopped in for a charging issue and service department was unable to provide service. Nothing but excuses from short man power to short on closing time.

Fantastic experience: We have bought 3 motorcycles at Cox's. Everytime we are there we are treated like friends instead of just a number in some statistic. Tara sold us our last 2 bikes and she is awesome.

Negative experience: Purchased passenger pegs. Never opened them until now for installation. Realized I was sold the wrong part and the pegs don’t fit for my mounts. Tried to simply just swap them out and they refused to help. Even though I showed them the packaging was brand new and that the big picture on the box referenced the part I was supposed to have, they simply would not help in anyway. I only wanted to swap them for my part, I didn’t ask for any money. Will not buy from this dealership again. Absolute poor customer service. Reply to Owner: What I purchased vs what I’ve received was incorrect. I wasn’t ready to work on the bike at that time so I sat the product on my shelf until I was ready (thinking I had the right part). When I decided to install them last week is when I realized I was sold the incorrect part. I’m not asking for money. I simply want to swap them out. They’re brand new and you can tell that by the packaging. Even the screws are unopened. I could see if I was asking for money or didn’t have original packing or anything but, that’s not the case. Your company sold me the wrong product and I’m simply asking for you to make it right. There’s no loss for a swap and you gain customer satisfaction/loyalty. I’m a claims manager at my job. If a customer comes to me after our policy I review it and if they want to swap I either process straight out or process a 25% restock given the time frame. I ensure absolute customer satisfaction and care. Unfortunately, that’s not what’s being shown here.

Fantastic experience: WOW....Awesome service!!!! I went to Cox's to look at the new 2023 Harley Davidson. They had the DP CVO in the street glide but not the whiskey neat color. The bike was amazing, just not exactly what I was wanting. Eddie Barry talked with me about the bike then ask me alot of questions to determine exactly what I was looking for and we came to the conclusion it was going to be the 2023 Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide in the whiskey neat color. The problem was they did not have one. They were hard to come by. After calling around for a couple days they were able to locate me one, out of state. They made a deal with the other dealership to trade for the whiskey neat cvo road glide. The next day, on Eddie's day off, he drove hundreds of miles to make my dreams come true (THANKS!). Then the day after, he arrived back to the dealership with the bike, and had his technicians check it out and set it up for me. Larry jump in and got my accessories ordered and had the technicians install the docking hardware for the tour pack that was ordered. While we where hanging out the girls got us fitted for jackets and gloves. Then off to the paper work room "Chip" explained everything to me and we purchased the 2 yr. extended warranty and tire package. He had everything in order to sign. Then it was out the door with Tara as the technicians pulled the bike around she started explaining the functionality of the new Harley CVO instrument screen and the switches. It definitely was a team effort to make my dreams come true. Thanks to the Original Cox's Harley Davidson team. Job well done! Customer for life! THANKS! 5 stars

Fantastic experience: Called, Justin listened to my wants list in a bike, had me come down, take for a road test, with no pressure. . He showed me a 2015 CVO with exactly what I wanted, within 30mins made the deal. Jamie was excellent and eazy to deal with, as well as Larry in parts.Girls in a apparel excellent as well as service dept. Chip in finance great to deal with as well. Very happy to be with a local family owned dealership... with awesome customer service.

Negative experience: Felt like I was pressured into buying everything possible as I went into there as a new rider. Definitely tried their best to make me spend as much as possible. Kinda funny how all the other reviews quote that they do the opposite. Great bike, not great dealership. If your not an easy fix or maintenance service will take their sweet time as well.

Fantastic experience: Stopped by this dealer to just look around. Everyone seemed helpful and not pushy. Was looking for a specific afrermarket part. Didn't see it on the shelf. Talked to a salesman about random stuff and he told me to talk to Larry in parts. Went to talk Larry and he knew exactly what I was looking for and went in back and pulled the part. Nobody else has one. Not even the manufacturer and he pulled one without even looking it up. Very pleased with my first experience there. Will definitely drive the hour and a half for me to get there to visit again.

Negative experience: When shopping there I put 2 helmets on layaway because they were last in mine and my husband's sizes. Today we picked up our layaway and paid it off. They did not check out helmets. We got home an hour and half away we found my husband's was not only a smaller size then we bought it was different and cheaper model than we paid for. We watched the sales lady that day put the right helmet in our box with the ticket. When we called them they acted like we were in the wrong for being upset and told us the correct helmet was not there. When questioned why the item was even taken out of the box they said they let someone else try on our helmet after we had already put a down payment on it. Then told us that we could return the helmets but they were not going to do anything to make up for their mistake or our gas or time to go back up there.

Negative experience: I want never buy another bike at Coxhd as long as Jamie there he a lair only way I go back is Keli and Eddie I bought to cvo screaming eagles there and a lot of parts and jewelry clothing and was going to get another new bike this past Saturday. Well when Jamie lie to me I when to smoked Harley Davidson in Winston they done what I want done and gave me more money for my bike Coxhd lost me every buying anything there again unless I dear with the owner or someone else not Jamie the weasel

Fantastic experience: Today was the first time I have been through Asheboro since the bypass was completed, so needless to say after a wrong turn or two, I toured some country side I have never seen before. But I was able to find Cox Harley Davidson of Asheboro and felt compelled to write this review. I never get near a Harley Davidson shop and not stop in to check them out. Well, today was my first time in this establishment and must say it was one of the nicest and friendliest HD shops I have ever visited. It was not a busy day by no means but I had two different ladies approach me and ask if there was any thing they could help or show me and even offered me coffee. I see lounges/rest areas in a lot of the shops I have visited, but I have never had an associate offer me the customer service these two ladies provided. So I would just like to thank them and give them the recognition they deserve. I just wish this was my home shop and had this kind of service...I would probably would visit them more often!

Fantastic experience: I'm a first time rider, and I visited Cox's Harley-Davidson of Asheboro to inquire about the various motorcycles, which one might be appropriate for me, financing, riding classes, etc. It was also local to me. As I walked in I was greeted briefly by the salesman on duty, Shawn Snipes. After a short but pleasant greeting I was left to browse the showroom. After a short time he asked if I had any questions. I asked him all the questions and concerns I had and he was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I didn't purchase a motorcycle at the time, but I will return to make one in the near future. The dealership itself was a very modern building, well kept, very clean and well stocked with a large variety of motorcycles and accessories. They also had a good supply of pre-owned motorcycles, which all appeared to be well maintained. I would definitely recommend this dealer, if not for the large selection of equipment, but for the very informative salesman. The location is also very easy to find, approximately a half mile off of Highway 74 via exit 68.

Negative experience: Took my bike in for repairs. They diagnose after putting on breaks tires switch. Then tell me needs a another motor. Go to tell me my cost for tires breaks and switch is 1200.00. But tells me bike would scrap for 750.00. They refused to put bike back together. I have 1999 H-D Sportster 1200 paid 8000.00 cash 4000.00 chrome windshield sissy bar etc. They refuse to admit they did wrong. You diagnosis problem before putting 2200.00 in parts and labor. I want my bike back exactly the way they picked it up.

Fantastic experience: First time visitor today. Easy to find dealership although I would put up signs on I73/74 just to make sure through traffic is channeled. Nice, large parking lot. Inviting looking building and overall a picturesque showing. Inside everything was very well organized and easy to oversee which department is where. The business is not Bruce Rossmeyer in Daytona but I think that is not the idea in the first place. Very friendly staff, everybody said hello and hi and the atmosphere inside was really welcoming. The merchandise was clearly separated between the genders. Not too much off it but that is a Covid fate every Harley Dealer shares these days independent of it's size. What I really liked was the quality of the dealer shirts. Lots of colors and motives to chose from and thick print on the shirts. That is how it's done!!! On top of that 3 for the price of two, yeah man, I like. Will come back. Thanks Cox H-D staff for that great experience

Pleasure was the girl that help me . Very nice . Go there everytime I'm in town . Last time got great deals also. Love this place. The one close to me closed on Dec 19. Sad cause it was close to Atlantic beach. They said New Bern store couldnt make it cause of Covid. You guys have a large selection of clothes jewelry and the purses are very nice. Got alot of different things. Loved the marked down rack. I scored.

Negative experience: Waste of time and money. Beginner rider class is NOT for beginners. I felt like that when experienced riders were done with the exercise, we were done, no additional instruction or practice allowed for less experienced riders. Need to split course into new and experienced.

Fantastic experience: I took my motorcycle in for an inspection. I got there five minutes before they opened and there was no wait. Brett got me checked in with ease. Their service department is top notch and the staff is helpful and friendly. This location had a motorcycle riders class going on while we were there. My son took the class in recent years and said it was a lot of fun. Their showroom was open and they had several new and used motorcycles on display. They also have the latest trendy Harley-Davidson attire for sale. Their sales team is always friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant experience buying my first Harley Davidson motorcycle. They treated me and my wife with respect and all our questions were answered without making us feel stupid. Very friendly environment and they make you feel like family. Was given all my purchase options and given plenty of time to discuss. Did not feel pressured. Very happy with the bike I did end up getting, a 2020 Soft tail Standard which was recommended to me by the salesperson Big D (great guy, very pleasant to deal with) I can't stop riding it, it's the best purchase I've ever made. Fantastic experience: I bought my Street Glide from there in 2019. Last week I was riding my Street Glide and my cousin was on his Electra Glide. His clutch cable broke and he was stranded on the side of the road. We called Big John in Service and he sent the service truck out to pick him up. They fixed it for him. They have good and fast service.

Positive experience: I have been looking for a harley davidson from 3 different harley dealers and the customer service here is by far the best I have experienced. Most places are quick to point you to the website about inventory and specs. I called and spoke to Donavan who was very knowledgeable about thier inventory and services and asked all the right questions to make sure he understood what I was looking for and went above and beyond on helping me find it I was contacted by the general sale manager on first day who genuinely expressed if I needed anything or had any questions to feel free to reach out. If you want a harley I highly recommend this place. UPDATE: I have lost all faith in The service department. After buying my bike here the service department said they went through it and it was good to go for 5000 miles.. sadly not the truth. 3 days after haveing the bike delivered to my house I discovered the exhaust wasn't bolted in.. I took it up there they provided the nuts and bolted it up. then in late may my brake pedal just came disconnected. And on top of that my oil drain hose is dry rotted I've owned the bike for less than 3 months. Granted I bought a used bike but these were all things tha tag if were properly inspected would have been avoided. I love the sales team there and the service department always has been polite but I can't help but question their level of thoroughness and I strongly encourage you to double check any work they have done .... I reccomend the double eagle guys
