Fantastic experience: Love to shop at Docs! Tom met us at the door and welcomed us. The girls in clothing were very helpful, and we we enjoyed a tour of the Service Dept. to learn about the history of the dealership. I also appreciated Tom’s phone message a few days later to thank us for coming in! You don’t get this kind of service anymore! It didn’t go unnoticed. Great place to shop!

Fantastic experience: I had my 2019 Road Glide CVO in for service and have to say it was the best experience I have ever had. I have owned many bikes over the years and gone to many different dealers. This time was different. From my first contact with Angela in service everything was handled very professionally. Angela called me several times to keep me posted on the progress and her attention to detail was the best I have had. The work was performed as I requested and delivered back to me when promised. Thanks to Angela I will be using DOC's for service work again.

Negative experience: DOC's might be okay if you are buying, but stay away if you are selling. DOC's was by far the lowest offer for my bike. I ended up selling to another H-D dealer for $6,500 more than what DOC's offered. They must of thought I needed to sell and just wanted to take advantage of me. That is the only thing that makes any sense.

Negative experience: Needed a seal for my bag and they lied and said someone came in and said they needed it for a work order when they found out I bought my bike from another dealer

Positive experience: The ladies of the shop were incredible!! My biggest complaint is that not a single sales person approached EVERYONE in my group to show off merchandise. My African-American friends, who served our country in the Army, were NOT approached by a single sales person. At All. And one of them wanted a new bike to take home in lieu of a “cage.” Do better. Be better. Remember the golden rule.

Negative experience: They sold me a bike with a bad exhaust on it. I contacted the previous owner. He informed me they were aware upon trade in of the issue. They sold me the bike under the pretense it was maintained and in working order. Ive now had to buy a new exhaust and have it tuned at a price tag of over $1300. I’ve owned this bike for 60 days. I feel Ike they knew I was inexperienced and purposefully tried to deceive me. I was promised a second mirror as well cause the bike was missing one. I have never heard from them on that either. Beware shopping here.

Negative experience: I took my bike in for an oil change and some other repairs, I was coaxed into getting the 50000 mile checkup...red flags started after left the lot, the padding around my fairing came loose, my cigarette lighter wasn't charging my phone...back I went. Was informed i had blown a fuse. Ok, hopefully fixed. Nope, it wasn't and would bring the bike back after the cross country trip. I had to pull over more times than i wanted to because of the poor workmanship by Leon and his team. Super frustrating when I had to spend an additional 600.00 on the road for another oil change due to the oil plug not being tight enough and bent push rods. Long story short, get home and take bike back. Management stated they would go over the bike free of charge, the tech working on the bike broke a bolt off and had to take the engine apart finding a lot of scoring...call to ESP, the rep stated the air filter had not been changed as it was dirty and had holes in it. I thought that was changed on a 50000 check up or am I wrong for being frustrated?

Fantastic experience: Wow…what a 2 month experience! I brought my Dyna Low to the team at DOC’s as it needed to be checked for an issue. Between maybe my explanation of the issue and several other pieces needing attention on the bike, the diagnosis was missed. I got the bike back and had the same issue(s) upon riding it. I returned and dropped the bike with Nathan and the dialogue continued. We had some bumps in the road finding the ultimate culprit for the engine cutting out under load but the team of Nathan, Andrew and technician Mike worked to uncover every stone, pebble, and exhaust resources with Harley Motor Company to try to find the issue. This one even stumped the HD Corporate technical team. This said, we had some difficult conversations but I am more than happy to say that this group of motorcycle enthusiasts and Doc’s service employees stepped up to ensure I had a great experience in the end. In a world of worker shortages, overall lack of desire to go above and beyond, this team made sure to communicate, dig deep, and find the right result to keep me a Doc’s and Harley Davidson customer! Negative experience: Unpleased with the sales department with docs but service is all around pretty good but the sales department just wants to make the sale and forget about you sales will lie to your face just to make the sale it was overall pretty bad service is super chill and a great help but sales is a joke
Fantastic experience: Docs saved me over 600$ because gateway wanted to do all kinds of work for my rear brake not workin like it should when it was only air in the lines n now my rear brake works just as gd if not better for only a lil less than 100$

Fantastic experience: I arrived to check in my bike for my 1K service. Once I walked in the back door, I saw a woman behind the counter looking like Wonder Woman deflecting bullets as she helped customers, answering the phone and the radio she had stuck in her ear like Lara Croft of Tomb Raider and entering things into the computer. She saw me and immediately acknowledged me. I got checked in, found out her name is Angela and she was able to explain the work for my bike and the wait I had to endure as they worked on the bike. Once completed, she again in typical superhero fashion got me checked out, went over my bike with me, answered people on her radio and got me on the road. Then like the Flash, she was gone to help other lucky customers. I even got a follow up call from her a few days later. Thanks for giving super heroes jobs during the slow season, Angela, Keep up the good work!! See you soon!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Docs today to get my lowrider inspection. The lady was wonderful. She got it in got it done so I could get the plates and be good to go for the Patriot Guard om Memorial day. Then she told me she will be praying for my wife on her hip replacement surgery. Things like this is why I go to docs. The personal service the genuine concern they have for people. Thank you Docs once again it shows me why I use you for service.

Negative experience: Would have gave a zero but had to have 1 star. Called about a bike. Told them I had 2.5 hours to come look and they sold it right before I showed up.

Negative experience: After going through the BBB and GM Tom Moore, adding to the lie and lying even more, I went through the Attorney General of MO, and dealt directly with the owner Mr. Schipper. Mr. Schipper was a stand up gentleman, apologized and made it right and rebated money to my loans. He promised Docs is going to follow their ethos of honesty and integrity. No Integrity, Lie, Lies and more Lies! 1st Lie; Mr. Yokum told me they had the bike I was looking for, schedule a test ride, I scheduled and arrived only to find out they didn’t have it! 2nd Lie, found the bike I liked, hadn’t researched it, asked the MSRP, Tina told me it was $59.8k, it was $48,999! 3rd Lie, Bill said they are veterans too, they wouldn’t Lie to veterans, they already Lied to me, but I told them how to make it right and they agreed! 4th Lie the young salesman with beard behind sales counter, assume sales manager, we will make this right, it’s year end close out, I can give you this bike with all the close out deals, the CVO doesn’t get close out deals according to Tom Moore the GM even though they told me I get them, he says only HD corporate gives the close out deals! 5th Lie, I called HD Milwaukee and they gave me GM name Tom Moore, I emailed Mr. Moore about all the lies to me and my referrals, Mr. Moore didn’t even introduce himself, he gave me a generic written statements about Docs being the top ten in the nation, pride themselves on honesty and integrity! They don’t single out veterans with veterans cuts to predator them! All of us wore AMVETS cuts, he was a veteran, he wouldn’t rip off a veteran, veterans that lie and steal from veterans is worse! Docs HD is just like the pawn shop and car dealer across the street from the base, they are predators, worse veterans lying to veterans! I called HD Milwaukee and they are investigating, also going to the BBB, all our business is going to a dealer with honesty and integrity NOT veteran predators! Don’t even walk into this place, they are PREDATORS, lies and thieves! A friend I sent there made a deal on a used bike, when they brought the contract they added $7k to the sales price. I had 2 other friends take their bikes in, the trade in value offered was an insult, they both walked away! Don’t walk away from Docs, RUN! Don’t even call or Tina will call back non stop, if you walk away, they won’t stop calling you! We as a group including the ones that walked away are going to another dealer that will be honest, give good trade in value and NOT Steal and Lie to veterans. Mr. Moore says they don’t target veterans, well that means they LIE to everyone! Lying is Docs standard of business, another friend I referred walked away because they continued to Lie to him. After dealing with Docs, the continuous lies, them adding thousands into contract not agreed to and then not owning up it, manager Tom Moore didn’t address it, said they were honest and had integrity, another lie. I went to at Ed’s and referred my friends to Teds Motorcycle World, no Hadley, treated like family, 3 friends bought bikes already on average $10k less than Docs! Tom Moore refused to correct their stealing from veterans and address the issue, seeing he continues to lie and steal, I am stopping paying on my bike, having them come get it, when they stole over $10k from me taking 7-8 hours when it only takes 2 hours at Teds from test drive to driving away, it’s because Teds isn’t trying to trick you or steal from you, they are honest, Docs has already lost 4 sales and we will never go back! They deserve a 0 star!

Fantastic experience: Rode my bike 2 hours to Docs to have it dyno tuned. I had never done business with this dealership before but had a good feeling about them from previous visits when I was just browsing. Josh made me feel welcome and kept me updated. Even got to talk to the dyno tuner a couple of times to explain to me everything that was going on during the tuning process. I got the bike back and was blown away by the torque and horsepower numbers the tuner was able to get out of it. Definitely worth the ride there.

Positive experience: I love this dealership. We have been coming for a long time. The only issues I have had are pricing on something’s can be a bit high. The other is the don’t always carry smaller sizes in things like glasses and other accessories.

Positive experience: Doc's has a great selection of bikes. It was in mine and a friend's personal experience with the sales team that we could not pin them to a price. Always a ball park range even when they was told it was going to be a cash buy they said they couldn't get an exact price until they ran it through the bank.

Fantastic experience: I rode in from Atlanta to St Louis and on the way my Sportster had several problems. Tony from Doc’s took me right in and got my bike diagnosed. I needed a new speed sensor but Doc’s didn’t have one so Tony called around and found one and Tony’s boss picked it up. The sensor solved all the issues and I’m on my way back to Atlanta rolling smoothly. Tony and Doc’s represent the best of Harley dealers and the Harley mystique. I highly recommend Tony and Doc’s. P.S. Bike ran perfectly all the way back to Atlanta.

Negative experience: Horrible experience, no bikes are priced when you ask what the price is they tell you it depends. I said as it sits, they said prices are online,they are not without giving info. Negative experience: I purchased a 2016 Fatboy Low S on July 27th online from a dealership that Doc’s owns in Evansville Indiana. I also had a trade-in of a 2009 Crossbones custom build, with FL fenders, beach bars and a custom brown leather seat. This bike had stage 2 and was a dynode at Big Saint Charles. I turned that bike in with the title in hand on the 27th. The following Thursday they called me and said it was ready to go. I then asked the young man on the phone if the bike had been inspected? He said that it was inspected in Evansville. I asked him how long he had been working there? He said 3 months. I then stated that he might want to educate himself more because that bike will need a Missouri state inspection and an IDOD. No one at Doc’s went over the bike; they simply wiped it down and said it was ready to go. When I got it home, I noticed the coil cover was off and in the saddle bag. The mirrors were loose and spinning freely on the way home and the right rear passenger was stripped out and falling off. Also the rear right passenger foot peg was stripped. I had to wait until Saturday for the state inspection. Upon inspection they found the rear pulley was very badly bent; perhaps it happened while being transported. They ordered a new pulley and replaced it – as they should have; however they made it sound like they were doing ME a huge favor, when in fact it was their error. They also passed the bike with cupping tires. As you can see in the pictures where I purchased the bike that the tires were starting to cup. I was told that they met the MO State Inspection standards? So after sitting for 40 minutes at the DMV, it was my turn and I gave the packet of paperwork to her and she asked: where is the title? Well the title was not in with the rest of the paperwork. I had to leave, go home and call Doc’s – where is my title? Well they did not know where it was. After 3 hours Doc’s called me and found the title; so I had to run back to the DMV. There was one person at Doc’s that did his best to make things right: Andrew L. While I am grateful for his efforts, it simple wasn’t enough. The dealership values their time at their rate; but is not considerate of their customer’s time. Lastly I will never send anyone to this dealership to purchase a bike. When I showed up there on the 27th, they only wanted to give me 5k for my Crossbones. I walked away from the deal but before doing that I told them that I had a friend wanting to buy a new bike and was on his way up that very day. My friend shows up while I was still there (evidently they didn’t believe me at first), and somehow the trade in value went up?? My friend has had nothing but issues when it came to dealing with the Service Department. He called is a “Toxic environment” Maybe they should concentrate on providing good customer service after the sale instead of ringing bells and playing Mötley Crüe, and planning what’s for lunch with grub hub. When the original owners owned this place they were a different breed: meaning they cared about their customers and they had relationships that lasted over time. I still have my leather jacket I bought from Roger in 1983. I’ll not return to Docs again. Nor will I direct anyone to make a purchase at this dealership. I like my bike, but I don’t like what I had to go through to get it right. What a disappointment…

Fantastic experience: Back in May I was doing a road trip and stop by to get some foot pegs put on my bike because the ones I had on broke. Well they went ahead and had some that they went ahead and put on that I thought I was going to have a bad experience with doc's Harley but even though that the foot pegs were not under warranty they still made sure that they made it right I do highly suggest stopping by and giving them a thank you

Fantastic experience: I took my 2007 Fatboy to Doc's because of their reputation. I live in Illinois. My motorcycle started dying and idling rough so I took it to Doc's. They said they found the problem, it had to do with a cracked fuel pump housing I believe. I picked it up and it ran great for a couple hundred miles, then it started doing the same thing. I called Doc's and the picked it up the next day, that was great. They called me and said they couldn't find any problem with it and it was running fine. They said the only thing they found was a loose battery connection. Well then they charged me $140 for finding nothing wrong, I was lucky to make it home the night it acted up. At this point I asked the person I was dealing with to talk to a manager which he did, he said the charge of $140 stays. Now after a few weeks of riding and quite a few miles, the problem has not happened again. That is why I am leaving this review now. I didn't take the seat off at any time, my thoughts are the same, they didn't tighten my battery cables after the first time working on the bike . So I am not happy being charged an additional $140 for what I believe was their mistake. After leaving this review, I was contacted within 1 hour by Lyon at Doc's , we talked about the issue and it was resolved as fast as one could imagine. Thank you Lyon and Doc's Harley Davidson for rectifying the issue so promptly. I will be back and I would recommend Doc's to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I've bought two Harleys here and have had a good experience both times. They try to make sure things are easy for you and that you feel good about everything, because after all you're making a huge purchase. The sales staff is a bit pushy but that's to be expected and you can't hold that against them; they want to sell you a bike. Stafford, my salesman, was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and answered pretty much all the questions I had about the bikes I was interested in. Kyle, the business manager (who the deal is really made with) was very matter of fact about what they can do for you, trying to exercise every possible promotion in order to put you on a bike. He will even get you more on your trade in in order to make the numbers work for you. He doesn't mince words and is obviously there to make money for the dealership but seems to be genuinely trying to make you a deal that will work for you. I would highly recommend working with either of these guys or both of them.

Positive experience: Went in to get a motorcycle tire Change inch 15 minutes or less down the road. The bike was wobbling real bad. The hardly dealer had to come and get the vehicle again. The motorcycle and then they decided that they were gonna try and keep my bike which didn't happen.

They called me a few weeks before my factory warranty expired to check-up for any potential issues to help me save $$! We discovered a few small performance issues that were fixed quickly to keep me on the road and in front of my riding group. Negative experience: Worst place ever. They over price and rip you off. Very bad experience. I bought a harley from them for 12500. Sold it back 5 years later and they now price the bike for 16000. What's wrong with that pic.

Positive experience: I have been a customer for 5 years. 1 star for the parts department, they have always been helpful and friendly. 2nd star for merchandise department, they are always helpful and friendly. 3rd star for Brad in sa les, we have talked several times. He has never pressured me and has done a test ride along side of me. No 4th star, the parking situation gets blocked often near the exit. It could be managed but they do not provide customers with direction to keep the lane open. I have had to wait for people to load their bikes on trailers before I could get out of the parking lot. No 5th star, I recently took my bike to the service department. I was disrespected by the service associate, while I was trying to ask a question the associate whistled at me like he was trying to get a dogs attention so he could tell me something. The diagnosis was not explained correctly and the charges were not explained. It was such a negative experience that I will now be taking my business elsewhere. Sorry Brad , I will have be buying my new street glide elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Staff knocked it out of the park. My size was not available so the young lady behind the counter took my info and said she would call when they came in. To my surprise she did exactly that a few days later. They had my item in the back reserved for me. And she actually held multiple items so I got exactly when I wanted. Fantastic experience: I travel to Kirkwood my home town from Michigan and have worked with Docs several times. Today they fixed my throttle and did t charge me. I am amazed at the customer service Leon gave me in the service dept. it’s so good to know I can trust this dealership when I am 600 miles away from home and I am grateful for them.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Chris and the maintenance people up at Doc's Harley-Davidson for going out of there way for me I had a flat on the highway on my back tire had it towed to a place that I thought fixed bike and didn't $172.00 wasted my money Chris came to pick me up and the bike Good people didn't even charge me It was bad but they treated me like family and made it better If places would be more like this it would be better for everyone got me back on the road had to 2 pay to fix it but it was worth it. Negative experience: DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Completely dishonest and misleading through the whole sales process. Made promises of an offer to sell bike at 2500 over msrp then when it comes time for deal tries to add 3k more in “fees” after we already had number worked out. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!

Fantastic experience: Brad is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful, and he guided me through the whole purchase of my Softail Deluxe in a very pleasant and professional manner. Also the test ride was awesome too! Phil discussed the financial transaction and was helpful with his tips! Roger processed all the dotted lines for me to sign very nicely! Tina was very encouraging to me in my progression to a bigger bike, and helped me feel more comfortable before going out on the test ride. Positive experience: Doc's H-D I'm Kirkwood, MO. is a great dealership!! Fantastic staff, great selection of parts, merch and bikes. Four stars is because I did not find aftermarket (K&N) oil filters on the floor. I did not ask for them, feel like it should be out if you got it, they have the space to put it on the floor. Personal preference is all.
