I discovered this after owning the bike for a few days. I called them and there was no hesitation in taking to the matter. Fantastic experience: While traveling with friends my bike started stalling every time we slowed down theses guys fit us in at3:30 on a Saturday and fixed the problem for me. Great job guys
Fantastic experience: Appleton HD Service Center is AMAZING! My friend and I were traveling through on a multi-day trip and got broke down about half hour away, on a Friday afternoon. They sent someone for us, trailered it back, and stayed after hours repairing his bike so we could keep going. The entire team was a blessing, made a very meaningful trip possible for us. Thank you to all the service techs and management who helped us. Yet another reason to be Harley Davidson forever, the loyalty of the culture matters.

Fantastic experience: I recently went back to Appleton's to purchase my third bike from them. Each time I have felt that I was treated respectfully. I have known Larry Lyle for many years and he is a straight up man, will shoot you straight and I appreciate that. In fact my salesman, David and the general manager, Evan were awesome as well. Do yourself a favor and give them a chance to make a deal. I believe you will be riding out on a new bike, at least that is what happened to my best friend and I on the same day!

Positive experience: This place is a mixed bag, sometimes the service is good other times not so much. It was pretty good on this occasion. Prices on motorcycles are definitely the worst/highest in the general Nashville area, so be warned.

Fantastic experience: Had issues with all other Harleys shops not wanting to take my bike in to get warranty work done since I didn't but it from them. But Appletons came and picked it up and got it done . Great staff, comfy environment!!
Fantastic experience: It would be easy for us to give in to the emotional stress that we have all felt the past few months, having lost so many tragically in such a short time to the dangers of the road. These men and women continue to soldier on despite their sometimes close personal losses of fallen comrades. We veterans know something about that. Positive experience: Could not give 5 stars. With appointment for 5k service, it took 4 hours. Really? Never have I had to wait more than 2 hours. They did do a battery check for me, but that was finished well before 2 hours. I did light check before I left. One of my bag lights was not working. Unplugged. Mechanic didn’t do an operation check before he released it. Kristi apologized for the delay, but still, 4 hours is absurd.
Fantastic experience: I was in there Saturday, and even though it was super busy Phyllis made sure that I was heard and helped me find what I was looking for. Very sweet, and amazing customer service
Negative experience: Took my bike in to get oil leak fixed, new exhaust gaskets, and new tuner. Original quote was $800 but said it could fluctuate which was understandable. I recurved a personal text stating “if any questions you can text this”. So I text to make sure she noted it had a big bore kit in it that same day. No response. Waited 3-4 days without a phone call so went in to check on it. He looked for the paperwork and said “They have questions on here and a new quote.” He read it off and now was $2,300. Simply said I can’t afford that and I’ll be back with my trailer to pick it up the next day. Went in and a new set of people were there and asked why I was picking it up and I told them. Then all of a sudden they had a cheaper turner (which wasn’t brought to my attention in the first place) and came up with an agreement on what to work on. Full service, exhaust gaskets (I put a new exhaust on it but left the covers off since they have to remove them anyways to replace the gaskets and left them there with it to be put back on), and tuner. Waited another 3 weeks and still no phone call. So I called and asked and she said “it looks like everything was done, when they get back I’ll make sure and let you know.” Cool I’ll be there to get that bad boy!! I said that in my head. I get it worked out to have a buddy take me 4 days later. Decided to call before I went just to find out the tuner hasn’t been installed yet. So I threw a fit and he said they will work late to get it done. Went the next rainy day with my enclosed trailer. He just sat it in the rain while I was paying thinking you guys just cleaned! Then she proceeds to ask me if I wanted them to put the exhaust cover on and if so it will cost extra. At that point I’m just ready to get out of there and told her no I guess I’ll do it. Finally get it paid and rushed it on my trailer to find it dirtier than when I dropped it off after she specifically asked me if it was ok for them to wash it afterwards. So I’m in my garage taking parts back off to get the covers on to find my foot board mounts were only finger tight. I literally unscrewed one with my fingers. Whole point of taking it there was to avoid this type of stuff since I’m paying premium prices especially at a Harley dealership. Shame on your employees for not caring more about customers or their property. I will not return as I do not trust your employees. 08/09/2024 Went to Appleton again just to get my starter checked out. I called to see if they could test it and he asked what it was off of. I said my Harley. He asked what kind. I was just wondering so I asked “does it matter what kind of Harley it is?” He said yes some we can and some we can’t test. So I told him 2007 Ultra Classic. He said wait one minute. 10 seconds later he hung up on me. So I drove out there anyways with starter in hand. Some young kid was at the desk said hold on let me check with my tech. He comes back saying he’s busy right now but will check when he gets a chance and it will be $81 to test it. So I walked out without a test and called Four Rivers Harley. They didn’t even ask what kind of Harley just a simple “yes we do”. I asked what the charge would be and he said it was free to test. Now I did the old school foot on top with jumping cables and got nothing I just wanted to be sure before I buy a $350 starter from them. GO TO FOUR RIVERS!! Way better customer service and you will definitely save money. I will never walk into Appleton again nor will I let anyone I know do it.

Fantastic experience: Bike quit working properly. Stopped by without an appointment. Explained the problem. They informed me what parts to purchase. Fixed the issue with out charge. They were polite and welcoming. Very professional. Will be returning.
Fantastic experience: Had a really awesome Valentine’s Day at Appleton HD wife told me I could buy my dream bike a new breakout if I got rid of the camper and these guys made it effortless took my camper and got me some gear and the energy was A+ from everyone.

Positive experience: I’ll start by saying that everyone who works there, that I have met, are very polite and courteous. So, I was looking to buy the lowrider ST for my wife. I was originally dealing with moonshine Harley in Franklin. My buddy happened to be in Appleton and told them I was looking for one and they told me they could easily beat moonshines deal. We verbally agreed on the price of the bike. That price was not better than what moonshine offered but I live in Clarksville and it would just be easier. Go in to do the paperwork. My wife was the applicant for financing and I was just co-signing. Thats what we wanted, that’s what we told them, and that’s how we filled out the application. But instead they took it upon themselves to only put me on the loan. Was a little irritated. Then we sit down to sign the papers and I noticed they had the bike for $1,000.00 more than we agreed on. Mind you, Moonshine provided a better deal than the number we verbally agreed on, so this was even further away from the deal I would have got at moonshine. Yes, I could have just walked out but I had already paid a deposit, it still wasn’t a bad deal on the bike and I just wanted to get it done. Was just more irritated because I expect the price on paper to be the price we agreed upon. Was then told they made sure my wife’s name was down for the HOG membership as the bike is for her and I already had a membership. Fast forward a week and I find out he didn’t put her down for it, it went to me. I also had all the aftermarket products thrown into the loan. Ordered everything there. We took the bike because she didn’t want it waiting at the shop for all the parts when she could be riding it. Was then informed all the parts were in so I made an appointment with the service department to get the install. Right after I made the appointment I received a call from parts informing me they forgot the add the tuner itself in the deal but did add labor. Now he gave me a discount on the tuner but that was still out of pocket money I was not expecting. More irritated. Went to pick bike up and found out they also forgot to add the extended cables in the deal since the bike got risers. That was an extra 515.00 straight out of pocket we were not expecting. I will still go there to buy apparel, buy A part if I need one, and will still take my RGS and my wife’s ST there for service. No issue with service, service department is great, or the store itself. The store itself is set up really nice and they have a lot of cool events. I’m not at the point to where I would actively persuade someone to buy a bike elsewhere, but in a couple years when I get my lowrider ST to go along with my RGS, I will not be looking to buy at Appleton.
Fantastic experience: Only Harley shop I go to. Everyone here treats you like family, especially Danny, Tia, Trey, Chip, and Larry. They have most everything in stock. If they don,t they can order your parts and get it quick. I bought a couple bikes here they treat it like a king.

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a bike, this is the place. Mak was our salesman and is a top notch guy and not pushy either. Talks to you and let’s you make a choice. Then, Dale the sales manager is very knowledgeable and great at his job. All around a great experience and will recommend anyone here.
Fantastic experience: Really excellent Harley. Lots of bikes and a separate showing area. Very clean bathrooms, parts and service department, and a barber shop which is very unique! They have lots of great merchandise and a fantastic clearance area that’s quite large and has amazing deals. We saw Men’s jackets for around $100 which is unheard of. Basic tees start at $29 which is excellent and poker chips are $3. Staff was nice too and very helpful. We looking forward to stopping by again when we drive through.

Fantastic experience: I recently took the Harley-Davidson Riding Academy here and I just want to simply take a minute and acknowledge this GREAT group of people working at this dealership. From my helmet fitting with (I didn't get her name, long, curly red hair) to my class everything was ABOVE and BEYOND my highest expectations. While fitting me for my helmet, her and I cut up a bit about how nervous I was and she simply said, relax, you'll do fine, putting me at ease which was a NICE touch. Customer service and kindness are rare these days to find, try going to any supermarket. David and Terry, the instructors, were the absolute BEST teachers one could ever ask for. Class was FUN as well as VERY educational. They took their time explaining everything in detail as well as giving us tutorials with explanations as to why to do things and what to look for when we hit the road on our own bikes. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a bike, gear, or looking to take a riding course, you will not be disappointed, I guarantee....

Fantastic experience: Went to a comedy show their put on by funny for funds and it was absolutely amazing. Had nothing to do with the actual Harleys just there to watch some really good comedians
Positive experience: first I need to shout out to the salesman Mac. I called him on Monday morning and told him my parameters of what I was looking for in a bike. He spent about 20 minutes with me on the phone going through the on line inventory. Never tried to up-sale me on a more expensive bike and never tried to tell me what I wanted. When I got there at 330pm he had the bikes we talked about outside for me to look at. Dale was the next one I want to give a shout to as he did the rest of the paperwork to get me what I wanted and needed and worked with me on items. Kristi in Service was amazing as was Brian. After the bike was bought, he went over the entire bike with me to tell me the ins and outs of this bike. I am very familiar with Harley so he did not have to go in detail, but he did explain things I did not know about soft tails. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the redheads name that was in clothing (just imagine the cartoon BRAVE with the curly red hair) she was super sweet and helped us pick out the shirt we wanted. I was impressed because the store was closed by the time we got to that part and she did not pressure us to hurry. Parts department I did not get a chance to go to as we did everything over the phone the following day. There was a young lady who helped me the last time I was in there and she was super helpful. I would buy from them again. I wanted to give it a 4.5 star but there is no option for that. I took off halk a star BC NO ONE told me there was a cam and upgraded engine in there. Which was super awesome easter egg but I think I should of been told that on the front end. Actually, it really should be a 1/4 star off.
Negative experience: I went to Appleton and purchased a Harley I was told it had had an inspection that there was nothing wrong with it except cosmetics all the bike needed was a rider I noticed on the second day of having it there were wiring issues I brushed it off got it fixed after a week of having it I was broke down on the side of the road the mounts for the rear shock had completly broken as well as a number of other issues I took it to a certified Harley mechanic who said I was lucky I wasn’t injured or killed riding the bike that it was very unsafe so I did without the bike for a few more weeks then I get it back and my next ride the motor blows up I haven’t managed to put 600 miles on a bike I’ve had for months the first sales manager I dealt with completly blew me off and ignored me then I was assured the new guy was going to be helpful he told me they would help me get on another bike and now he won’t answer the phone or bother speaking to me I would not recommend this store to anyone I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with them waste of time and money after months of trying to resolve the issues the bike has despite being told it had none and was rode ready they offered me less than payout on the bike after I had spent months not being able to ride and thousands trying to get the bike fixed but a year later it looks like I may be able to ride this bike for the third time since I purchased it staff is rude and I’m helpful I wouldn’t buy a tee shirt from this garbage store

Fantastic experience: I went to several Harley Dealerships and I have to admit Appleton wasn’t my first choice…. That being said I wish it was my first choice. I told them what I owned, what I was looking for and what I wanted to pay. Billy was able to help over the phone. She didn’t try to over sale me or sale me a bike that I didn’t want. She listened to me and got me the bike I wanted. The next day I went in they gave my bike the once over and gave me the trade in value they told me they would. The financing part was straight forward. Again, they didn’t try to get me to buy the extended warranty. I sat down and we signed the paper work. That simple. Let me tell you I will buy my next bike from them and I would recommend them to anyone.

They were nothing but helpful and probably the best experience I’ve had in any dealership of any sorts. I recommend Appleton to anyone looking for a Harley. Positive experience: A very nice and clean dealership. We had a long hot ride and went with every intention of trying to trade bikes. But nobody seemed to have time to work with us other than Khari "Red" Pack. You get 5 stars and are the reason for the big 3 star review.

Fantastic experience: This is the best place purchase a Harley. Billie is awesome to work with. I went to 9 different Harley dealerships from Ill to Fl. Billie and the crew listened to me and worked with me to find what I wanted. After such a good experience, I sent my son to purchase a new Harley. He received the same service as I did. Fantastic experience: I have to say….the staff at Appleton H-D are by far , the most courteous, helpful people around. I was visiting family (6hrs) from home, bought some rain gear, the girl( sorry don’t remember her name) was most patient, helping me out with getting the right fit….was leaving for home the next day, but found that the ignition switch had been left on, draining the battery. After trying without success to get it cranked, I called the store….I spoke with Chip, the service mgr, who told me, “I’ll be right out, if I can’t get it cranked, I’ll haul it in for you. WOW! But that wasn’t enough, since I was on base( 30 min from the store) Chip had to stand in line at the gate to get a pass to get to me. It took him 1 min to get it cranked, and answer my questions. I also asked the charge for the service, he shook his head, and said there is no charge, it’s a service we provide. He wouldn’t even take a tip. So impressed with Chip, and the others I came in contact with At Appleton HD. Words can’t express my gratitude…..Thank you! Chip and Appleton Harley Davidson!!

Positive experience: Good: worked with me to make a deal that outweighed the deal I made at Boswells in Nashville. Staff took loads of time helping me in answering questions and taking me out for test rides to help me find what I wanted in a motorcycle. Bad: Tried to push me to buy a bike before I was even knowing what I really wanted . It’s a dealership. It’s their job. I just do not like to not be pushed. Good thing I didn’t buy then, because I bought the bike I truly wanted in the end from here. Went to change my handlebars and no one told me that they had to rip off the grips and I would need to change them out. That would have been good to know beforehand.They called me to tell me to go on the HD website to find which ones I wanted. I chose a pair that had a good Fathers Day discount. Well apparently this dealership doesn’t honor Harley Davidson discounts. That would have been good to know when I mentioned the discount to the person on the line with me as I chose them. They did gave me a discount to reconcile the situation, but it still wasn’t as good as the discount from the website. That was the reason why I chose them to begin with. Had a service related question, left my contact info, and was never contacted. I figured out my issue myself. When conversing about the competition (Indian brand and other Harley dealerships), they had nothing good to say and would slander them. I truly respect salesmen that know their competition and respect them enough to not slander and disregard them. It’s poor taste. Instead, offer me a solution to my problem instead of turning the conversation into a “us vs them” situation. Overall, this dealership is just that, a dealership. Not the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Pretty decent staff. I’ve enjoyed Billie’s company though. She was always available to offer insight and her time to help me learn about each bike I inquired about.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of stopping by a few weeks ago just to browse because I had seen a post online. Little did I know that I would be walking in to a place full of knowledgeable, courteous and professional staff. Even though I plan on making my purchase soon, Sebastian Shaw gave me the rundown of understanding my first purchase. Fantastic experience: After having bilateral knee replacements I couldn't Handel my street glide. So after talking with Adam we ordered a Triglide. Well it was taking a while to come in I stopped by the store and low and behold a 2 tone had come in. Adam rolled the trike out and we started the paper work! Awesome job there Adam

Fantastic experience: Billie has sold me 2 bikes, she is the main reason i deal with Appleton. Though everyone there is professional, knowledgable, and awesome people, Billy is my favorite to see. Whenever I call I ask for her first before anyone else. When it comes to Outposts, Appleton is always my go to.
