Negative experience: Went to Emerald Coast Harley today. I wanted parts for 2000 Sportster. This was my sixth and last trip there since the place was built. I walked in with Harley part numbers in hand. Nothing fancy, a primary chain adjustment shoe, magnetic plug for the primary and a spring. They had NOTHING on hand. They would order aftermarket parts from China for me. Red the service/parts manager looked up the parts and said they had used none of those since 2019. I wonder what they use for parts for normal servicing? Emerald Coast Harley is a T-shirt shop with very expensive window dressing! I do not recommend!
Hi Chester - Thank you for the feedback. We apologize for not having all the parts on-hand that you needed (if I recall correctly, we did have 2 on-hand). We love seeing older bikes come through the dealership because they always come with some of the best stories of great rides and memories made, however we’re not always able to keep parts for those bikes in our inventory. As Red explained, the last time we had anyone inquire about the specific parts in question was 2019. We always try to provide the best possible customer service which is why our team offered to locate the parts for you – opting to go with Genuine H-D parts, if available, and searching aftermarket options, if needed. We wish you many more miles on your bike and are here if we can help with anything!
Negative experience: Worst dealership I’ve ever been in. The kid working in service was the only nice person there. 20 sales guys not doing anything and apparently no one can answer the phone on a Thursday either. I had actually gone in to trade my bike but I’ll take my business elsewhere as should you.

Fantastic experience: I want to leave a review for my excellent buying and first service experience at ECHD. My 24 PAS was due for its first service and from start to finish, Shorty and especially Zane took excellent care of me and my bike. They answered all questions with patience and expertise. Zane took extra effort to help me with some problems and ensure a more safe and comfortable ride in the future. I have confidence in the work done and service of these professionals.

Fantastic experience: Rode into town from SW Missouri, had to swing by and see if these guys were good. I am absolutely surprised how well we were taken care of. My father wanted new tires on his bike while we were down so they gave us a good deal. They even warrantied a leaking transmission seal and stayed late to do it. We didn't have to wait days like we're used to. These guys took care of us, our experience was nothing but positive. We made it back to Missouri no issues!

Fantastic experience: We all know Harley-Davidson can make it hard for dealers to be transparent with pricing. There are rules and restrictions HD establishes. However, I want to give a shout out to Emerald Coast Harley-Davidson. They've been consistently professional. If you're looking for a bike, ask for Chrissie. She'll do everything she can, to help you get into a bike, well-being clear about your options, your pricing, and terms. These folks are a step above. It's a different experience than other dealerships. I highly recommend giving them a shot. It's worth the drive.
Positive experience: If you asked me 2 years ago how much I liked this dealership I would've told you a different story. But today, we decided to give them another try. A completely different staff, management, and attitude. Always love seeing my fave James BUT Chrissy, Chris, Larry, Gene, Danniand Gus. You all changed my views today about ECHD. Whatever has happened there is for the better and you need to keep on doing that! As a person who has bought now 4 bikes from you....this was by FAR the BEST experience. You all are not pushing bikes just to meet numbers. You are understanding about the passion people have and also understanding what you can do to make it reasonable. Also love the added touch of prices on the used bikes...makes it easy for us to see what would be worth our time buying so happy my local dealership has turned around. Thank you all!
Negative experience: My husband and I were on vacation and decided to drop in here. Derrick was our salesperson and he was great. He didn’t pressure us and he listened. When we were ready to walk out, here comes Gene promising “whatever it takes”. He pressured us from the start. We had been pre approved a week ago and he said he would not run our credit. He said if it’s within 30 days he didn’t have to return it, just take possession of it. I told him no, but he kept on. Finally I told him if he swore not to run my credit again and he wouldn’t lie to me, he could. We never signed anything allowing them to run our credit. We left. Next thing I know I have 2 hard inquiries! 2! My husband asked if he did it, and he said yes. He said he was just trying to get the deal done. So basically he thought asking forgiveness was better than permission. I will be disputing this, but I felt so disrespected. I will NOT be back and it’s needless to say we will not be purchasing anything from this dealer.
Fantastic experience: Had 5K maintenance done here. Tom in parts and service was exceptional. He took time to correct a previous issue. Had great attention to detail on all aspects and demonstrated a willingness to ensure that my bike and I were taken care of at the highest level. Walked through every step and made sure everything was spot on. My experiences at other dealers has made me chuckle at words like stealership in the past but Tom and his team made it a forgone conclusion that I will be back for all my HD needs moving forward.

Fantastic experience: Kyle and Jeff were AMAZING! Kyle came out we explained what we were interested in. He showed us a few bikes and then we met with Jeff! Now let me tell you about Jeff..... this man right here listens to you and doesn't try and push anything on you. He's not going to put you in something you can't afford or DO NOT WANT! He goes through everything step by step on paper so you are not blindsided. Kyle stayed with us the entire time. Took a test ride with him. He even took us to "NO MANS" land in the back. That's what I call it. Sometimes, there are hidden gems back there. Jeff came back with some numbers and different bikes. He's straightforward! We have bought bikes from 2 other dealers, but this one is where we will go back too! Everyone was so nice and helpful! 5 all the way! Thank you both!
Negative experience: I went to the test ride event back on May 11th. I live 131 miles away from this dealership. I was told that the event T shirts will arrive by late June to mid July. That was correct. I got notified that it arrived the end of June. I asked the sales manager if its possible to have it mailed to me due to my distance from the dealership. He said sure. I have called numerous times since the July 1st asking about the shirt being mailed out. I get told it will. One time I was told it probably got lost in the mail. I asked to speak to someone else and they said its still here and they were looking at it. I called this morning and was asking the same question. Mid conversation with a staff memeber a guy came on the phone and told me to not call back, it will be mailed out. He said "We are doing you a favor buy mailing this FREE shirt." I offered to pay for the postage in order to make this less troublesome for the dealership. I know its a free shirt, but I shouldnt have to be talked to like Im being pushy. I just wanting something that Harley offered me. Nothing more. I really hope no other Harley customer is ever treated this way. I am starting to regret thinking that Harley is a family of sorts. I ride A LOT. I have never experieced that before from a dealer. I didnt put names in here because I dont do that, but I am sure that if they read this they know who they are. As for the 2 women who tried to be helpful, THANK YOU.

Negative experience: Hi , I spoke to a sales person on a used Kawasaki they have for sale and the conversion was good until the sales director Jeff got involved and changed everything that was said! He said that the bike was wrong on their site and I should be happy to get the bike for wholesale! Of course he added dealer fees on top and didn't want to negotiate anything! Very rude person, so I asked for the Owner but was told I be waisting my time and he had nothing to do with any sales! Never had this happened before, bought over 30 years bikes, cars and never had someone be disrespectful! People beware! God bless Update July 5,2024 I read the response from Harley Davidson ( Sarah) and have not received any calls from the owner of the location! The day I had that problem with the Harley Davidson location I left my name and phone number for the owner to call me and never received a call then! That said, people buy a motorcycle but please watch where you buy it! Which dealership you choose is very important for any later service or help needed. God bless....

Fantastic experience: Excellent establishment. Kyle Maxwell helped me find the perfect bike, 2020 Road Glide. He was extremely knowledgeable and presented all options available to me. The entire staff as a whole was kind helpful and personable. Giving a tour of the entire building from the sales floor with the bikes to the apparel section with all the gear you could need to the parts and repair section, with any upgrade you could want. They finance in-house, and Gene walked me through every aspect of the paper work. Superb establishment all the way through.
Positive experience: Loved this place, did the riding academy through them, used them for parts, even ended up buying a bike from them. But even after the riding academy they would call me 2 times a week to try and get me to come buy a bike, no matter how many times I said no. Fast forward to now, they call me every 2-3 days chasing a title for a bike I traded to them, even when I explained the situation to them about the title and told them it would take some time because the other slime ball at Black Water Cycles had “misplaced paperwork”. It’s not their fault, and they need the title, but they will not listen to what I have fo say and call me every other day. Their little “stunt show”also chipped my bike when the guy did a burnout right next to my bike down to the pavement.
Fantastic experience: On our way to the airport to come back home, we had our Uber driver drop us off at Emerald Coast HD, to do some shopping. We were greeted at the door immediately and made to feel at home. Once we were done shopping, we went outside to wait for our 2nd Uber driver. We were approached and ask if we needed anything. When we explained what we were doing, we were offered a ride to the airport. While checking to see if we could still cancel out Uber, they actually brought a car around to load the 3 of us and all of luggage to drive us to the airport. We were not able to cancel our Uber, but the fact that they would have gone this far out of their way to provide such great customer service will stick with all 3 of us, always. I will visit this store every time I go to Destin! Make sure you shop here!!!

Fantastic experience: Went in to pickup parts for my 15 Road King but started talking to one of the sales reps. I never felt strong armed the entire time. They listened to what I was looking for IF I bought something new and just so happened to have just gotten on in, wasn't even on the floor yet. They were very helpful in answering all questions I had and were very friendly, not to mention time efficient. I would definitely go to Emrald Coast again and will for any parts or services I need on my new bike.
Positive experience: Large dealership, just wish they had more womens clothing with their logo on it. We were in town from out of state and had visited before, so we thought we'd stop in again. Ladies working in the clothing department were so nice. Unfortunately, I had to buy a men's t-shirt to get the cool mermaid logo. Great dealership, I hope next year's visit they will have more ladies t's with your dealership logo. We will for sure be back.

Negative experience: I was just at The Board Room around 9pm. There was a small group who said they are doing some sort of stunting and are doing an exhibit there at your store. There were 6 people ordered lots of food. Left the server $3.20 sum odd cents. Who ever reads this at your store. Thell them if they can't treat our locals right who serve them . Just stay home.
Hey Shane, thanks for letting us know. Our team has been frequenting The Boardroom since the day it opened (literally) and always make sure to take care of the hardworking team there. I am personally friends with the old owners and am excited for the new owners to keep the place going since its such a great spot. Can you either change or remove your review, though? This isn't a reflection on your experience at our store. We've never asked someone to remove a review before (we can handle constructive criticism and always take to heart what people leave in reviews) but this isn't about us our store. Negative experience: For the price of the bike I felt like the dealership should have granted my wishes and added an antenna to my bike @ the dealership expense and then after they decided not to add an antenna I asked for an in store voucher and was denied that as well

Fantastic experience: Looking for the ultimate dealership experience? The folks at ECHD are top notch! We recently bought a new bike from them and from the initial greeting, throughout the buying process, finance, motor clothes, parts and service we had a great experience. Recently moved to the area and have been to quite a few dealerships all around the east coast but these folks seriously impressed me and earned a new, long-term customer! If you're in the market for a new bike, or looking for a better place to bring yours, you won't be disappointed. Funny thing was, we only stopped by to buy a new seat!

Fantastic experience: Had a skeptical experience the first time a bought a bike from this location. Was very hesitant on coming back but once the new management stepped up, I feel like that righted the wrong from before. Geoff definitely took care of me when it came to finance, and Alexander was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when guiding me in the right direction of which bike was right for me. Negative experience: Bought a 30k bike three weeks ago. Asked the sales manager for a quote on my current bike to trade and was never given one. I bought my street glide and got an online price for my old bike. Bdc department called me and verified the price of my bike. Drive over an hour as they asked so they can see it. Offered way below trade value that was given. Total waste of time. If this is how they treat customers then I will gladly go somewhere else next time.

Want to thank Shorty in the service department for the updates on work in progress between purchase and delivery, great communication. Negative experience: My Wife and I were on vacation back in November. We stopped to buy shirts and ended up buying a 23 Road Glide Fast Johnny. That experience was great with Gene and DJ. Here's the problem. In the deal was a 40k service for my 18 Street Glide Special and a new brake lever. We trailer bikes home to Wisconsin and stored them for the winter. Less than 400 miles on the bikes. As there doing the 40k service, they said you need a brake flush and some other things. I said ok $500+ dollars out of pocket. I was ok with it, because I felt like they treated us great. March rolls around I decided to have my hometown dealer put a new suspension in. They call me and tell me my break reservoir is leaking and there is water in the system and the seal is bad. I called Emerald Coast Harley and talked to service manager Kevin. He said I will look into it and get back to you. Crickets nothing. Oh and the brake lever they sent to me 3 months later.... wrong one. My bike is all black no chrome. The only reason yall got 2 stars was sales!

Fantastic experience: James was awesome! Showed me exactly what I wanted. Listened to my desires and didn't try to do anything but give me the options that would fit me best. Incredibly easy to chat with and no pressure environment from him and the team of professionals. My family enjoyed our experience so much that even though a new bike wasn't in my budget on that day, I will be back and will purchase my future bikes from James. Fantastic experience: I’ve purchased several bikes from ECHD. The staff there is always friendly and professional. DJ Custer, my salesman, has followed my interests for a while and calls me when he thinks there’s something at the dealership I’d like. When I take a bike for a test ride he’s informative but doesn’t put any pressure on me to buy. Gene, the Assistant Sales Manager, works hard to negotiate a fair price for me if I’m interested in something (not that I always buy!) Jillian, the Finance Manager, is always thorough in explaining options, but never pushy. Highly recommend this dealership. Update: Looks like I forgot to mention the parts and service department. The staff is always courteous and professional. I usually work with Zane, who goes out of his way to help me out. Their clothing and accessories department.has a good selection, and Ariel is pleasant and helpful.
Fantastic experience: I’m a business traveler, yesterday I arrived at the HD store. The entire staff was welcoming. A young lady Stephanie started helping me. I will warn you about Stephanie, she has the biggest, brightest smile you’ve ever seen. I was hesitant about a jacket I liked because I didn’t have room in my luggage. Stephanie told me not a problem, she would just ship everything to my house. Problem solved. Stephanie made my visit to Emerald Coast Harley a very pleasant one.
Fantastic experience: I was in the area for a short little vacation. I always like to check out any dealership I can, it's kinda my thing. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. Just bought a 2022 Pan america from here and it was efficient and friendly the whole way through. Aaron and Gene from the sales team knew their stuff and answered all of my new bike questions. They made sure I test rode a few that met my list of what I was looking for. Stephanie in motor clothes was super friendly and got me squared away with a sick new jacket. Duane from the parts and service department is also amazing and the exhaust for the new bike is on its way. 10/10 would shop here again.

Fantastic experience: The entire crew at Emerald Coast Harley Davidson are awesome! I have been doing business with this dealership for a longtime. At this point I feel more like family than a customer. If you are like me and buy everything for your wife from Harley you need to make sure you get with Stephanie. She is great at helping pick the perfect combination of clothing and jewelry, she is a great salesperson and should probably join the sales team :) If you need service I highly recommend seeing Zack, he has always been my go to Service professional. He is very knowledgeable and always goes out of his way to ensure my Harley is in tip top riding condition! When you need your bike picked up you are going to be greeted by Mel. Mel is a cool dude… He treats my bike with dignity and respect and knows I’m a little OCD and ensures it gets pampered when it gets delivered and gets in the right hands every time :) As far as the Sales team I love working with Craig. Craig is very versed in his knowledge of Harley Davidson and all of the innovations that are coming out whether Harley specific or aftermarket add ons. Sarah the Marketing manager is the sweetest person. She is always ensuring there are plenty of great activities going on and shows continuous support of an organization im co-founder of called (MRE) to help us raise money for many local charities. Now to the man him self, Mr. Gus! Gus is so humble. He doesn’t just sit behind a desk and collect money. Gus gives so much back to the community and makes everyone feel welcome when they come into his dealership. Truly a great guy and I’m honored to do business with his establishment! ECHD Family…. Fantastic experience: Aaron "Teabag " was amazing from the time he introduced himself to us. He took us on an amazing test drive and provided outstanding customer service throughout the entire purchase of our C-VO. everyone we encountered throughout our purchase was amazing, but Aaron made sure we had everything we needed to make our trip back to Ohio safely, even making sure to tell us to message him when we made it home safely.
Fantastic experience: Aaron and Gene were great! Aaron answered all my questions and was great about letting me test ride as many bikes as I needed in order to find the right one for me. We talked through the pros and cons of each…although there were not that many cons! This was my first Harley purchase and those guys made it too easy. If you get a chance to chat with the owner Gus, he’s a great guy and super friendly…Never felt uncomfortable with high pressure sales tactics and he made a customer for life. If you’re looking for Harley, this is your spot. Great group of folks. Very happy with my new Road Glide Special!

Fantastic experience: We were on the 6th day of our 8 day trip & the cold wet weather was all behind us. We stopped at the store for a little break, Stephanie greeted us with a smile & her cheerful personality. She was very helpful to everyone in our group, helped us find what we were looking for, but for my husband and I, she went above and beyond the aspects of her normal job. We didn't need our rain gear or our cold gear anymore, and we didn't have the room to keep hauling it around with us, so she shipped it all home for us. It turned out to be a lot cheaper than it would have been to go through the post office. She was awesome!!
Fantastic experience: Took the ARC there and the instructors were great. They even had a new instructor in training, but that didn’t slow anything down. I was more impressed by this course than the many others I have taken.
Fantastic experience: We just love Gus! He always remembers you no matter how long it's been since you last visited. He is present and involved with his staff as well as his customers. We also love the staff. They're welcoming, not pushy in sales, very educated on the bikes that they have on the lot and are always happy to help. We love the atmosphere, variety, service and special events. We take our bikes into their service apartment quite often for upgrades, maintenance and service. We absolutely love this place! We both took our MSF course here also and ride Harley's ourselves. Coach Dave was amazing, patient, understanding and is truly passionate about teaching newbies how to be safe all while doing it in the time allotted. You can't go wrong visiting this Harley location. You won't be disappointed!!
Fantastic experience: James and Sarah made my most recent purchase seamless for my 2023 Ultra limited. James worked with me over the phone while I was at work and had everything ready when I got there. Sarah worked her magic and got me over to Jillian to finalize everything and I was back on the road in no time, definitely recommend!
Fantastic experience: Great customer service, no matter what you ride. They are not high pressure sales people. It is a community with commonality, whether it is prior military or just loving bikes.
Fantastic experience: We were not planning on buying a new bike on vacation but DJ and the rest of the staff at HD were amazing at getting the job done! It was great getting to know DJ and the other staff. DJ is that guy so go to Emerald Coast HD and buy the bike today!

Negative experience: Stopped in looking for a Street Glide. The staff was friendly and the dealership clean, like all Harley dealers. I have owned several Harleys over the years and in the past the price was always on the bike. Nothing is priced in the dealership, I asked why and he said, "I might be able to sell it to you for 20k today and tomorrow I might charge you 26k so we don't bother putting prices on them". He literally admitted they don't price them because they might be able to gouge us for more money the next day, or maybe they decide how much to gouge you for when they size up the sucker, I mean customers. I bought one used online where the price was clearly stated up front.
Positive experience: Overall good experience with the dealer. Only issue I've ever had is the fees that are tacked onto the prices of the bikes. Sales staff are always awesome I will say that!
Negative experience: This is my second 1 start review. I deleted my first review because Craig the manager reached out to me and attempted to help me out. The whole process started on March. It took almost 5 month to process my refund. I left my first one star review due to the lack of communication. I made several attempts to get a hold of the finance manger and I would never get a call or email back. After speaking with Craig he assured me that this wouldn’t happen again. About a month went by and it because a repeat of my first experience. Again I would call and leave voicemails with proper call back information and I never got a call back from Harley Davison. Over all a very unprofessional experience. I do not recommended this store to any one.
Fantastic experience: Just purchased a 2017 Harley Freewheeler trike from ECHD. Salesman Blake was great throughout the whole experience! All the staff was great! Highly recommend Blake and the whole team at ECHD!
Positive experience: Nice clean store! Big selection of bikes. My only gripe would have to be the sales staff wouldnt leave us alone. I get it.... you have to sale.... but at some point you need to just let folks breathe a little

Negative experience: Just left out,paid double of quote and tell me things didn't work that they say worked with their test module when I was in there last week. Then said they didn't test turn signal the first time,your changing the turn signal control module and you don't make sure that everything works that it controls.they also told me I have no rear brakes, taking the bike off the trailer it was rolling and I stepped on the brake and it stopped me,then I I took it for a ride and guess what the rear brakes stopped me

Positive experience: Every one was nice but that must think they are the only HD dealer they priced a used 2019 street glide special to me at what the bike cost new in 19 I couldn't believe it when I said that is what it cost new they said they really hold there value

I traded it in on my second HD, 10Dec2022, a 2022 Road Glide ST, Battleship Grey! Love it. Tour pack, 2up seat w/back rest going on today, along with the jiffy stand extender.
