Fantastic experience: The parts department looked after me but Will Hendrix was the best with helping me out. No fuss, no muss, just got it done correctly the first time. He excels at customer relationship.

Fantastic experience: This place “Buddy Stubbs Harley- Davidson” has the best service department hands down. I came on a Monday late afternoon to see if they could help get my Harley back up and running with no appointment and the young lady up front and the gentleman whose names escapes me. Are some of the nicest and knowledgeable people. They were able to handle all my questions and service needs and get my Harley back up again. Prices are pretty moderate. Would definitely recommend and I appreciate the straight answers with me and not a sales pitch. From start to finish A+ services.

Negative experience: I’ve had a few bad experiences, but this was the last straw. I called to ask about a replacement part, got told they don’t sell it, tried to be upsell me on something else I didn’t need. I asked if it’s something I can just order on Amazon since there’s no hope through them, and he answered right away yes. All I did was ask “what is the wording I would use?”. The guy in the parts department got mad and hung up with “I’m not going to help you order on amazon. Ok? Bye” I am a firm believer in ordering the right parts from the right place, which is what I attempted to do. Harley part from a Harley shop. This experience shows true colors for helping out someone in need. Way to drive another customer into the arms of competition. I’ve heard stories, but now I can confirm that if you’re not willing to buy what you don’t need, then BuddyStubs doesn’t give you the respect you deserve as a customer. Hopefully this helps someone else determine if what they are feeling is legitimate. (Update) It won’t let me comment on their response, but I NEVER WENT BACK. I laughed when I read “Thanks for picking up the part”… way to make my day with your BS Buddy Stubbs How’s about doing right by customers rather than lie through review.

Fantastic experience: Buddy Stubbs is an awesome dealership. You will not feel the pressure of big corporate dealers. This is one of the few family run HD dealers left. Staff are amazing and very friendly. It's my go-to shop for all HD related parts and clothing.

Negative experience: Spoke to Adrien Burkhart over marketplace about getting my first harley davisdon. The price he told me over marketplace sounded to good to be true so I called in the next day. Thank God that I did, because it turns out that not only did he blatantly lie about the price of the bike, but he had absolutely no authority in the first place to even make the deal. Buddy stubbs is a 2 hour drive for me. And making the trip out have been a huge inconvenience for me. If Adrien represents buddy stubbs that tells me that this dealership has no integrity and no value for their customers. If management needs proof I have all the messages and I'm more than willing to share them.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dealership. I was there from El Paso Tx for bike week and I went to check out the concerts and walked out with a beautiful Icon the 2024 Hydra Glide. Positive experience: Update: Since my last post after that fiasco... The primary sounded still noisy... I decided to check primary fluid level. It was filled to the very top of the primary. WTH. I bet they added more fluid to reduce the noise issue. So I drained and started to measure fluid after 1.9 qts it was now confirmed primary was over filled. I took the primary cover off and found the new manual chain tensioner was not adjusted as the tech stated 5/8-7/8. Much more loose. So I put in a new Hayden auto chain tensioner in, added correct amount of fluid. Started bike and WOW it was smooth and much quieter. Damn, it looks like I do better work than the dealer. Attention to detail. So disappointing again. Recent PM visit to Buddy Stubb's (B-S) for supposed compensator issue. Not to go into much detail... The diagnosis by B-S was not correct. Hence my time, money, frustration, and stress from missed motorcycle rides. After a week, we got all the issues, problems worked out. A big hand goes to Daria - service woman and Jake - master tech. and parts manager. They were helpful, communicative and proactive in the repair and solutions. I hope in all future visits to be able to give them 5 stars.

So many vintage bikes on display plus a whole showroom of new Harleys for purchase. They have a pretty extensive gift shop as well. Everyone we encountered was so kind and helpful. Negative experience: Update and change of opinion now that I've been dealing with this establishment. I bought my motorcycle with a warranty, I've take my bike in twice for the same issue. Even though they had my bike for 4 days, my front brake has still continued to skip on me. I've complained and complained because I don't feel comfortable riding. To me it feels unsafe, but they don't care 1 bit that they sold me a motorcycle that was supposed to have brand new rotors and brakes. Let's be clear. Within 2 weeks of me owning the bike is the first time I took it in and was told they fixed it and nothing was done. I'm very disappointed and will be getting my warranty refunded because as a MMI graduate myself, this service department is totally garbage. Most easiest vehicle purchase in my life. I walked in and told the sales guys what I was looking for and he took me straight to the bike that fit everything I was looking for. Paperwork was absolutely nothing at all. Everything was so fast in and out and I was on the road enjoying my Harley. I feel everyone I dealt with in the dealership went above and beyond my expectations to make everything easy and comfortable for me.

Negative experience: Got my Dad an item here for Christmas that was a little less than $100. It was the last poker chip framed case they had and I bought it on Christmas Day. I got home and opened it to put the chips in and realized the corner pieces were busted apart without a way to fix. Tried bringing the item back on 2/3, I was told since it was past 30 days so I’d only get 75% back. It was literally 35 days give or take and I had the item, in all its packaging, with the receipt. This is the most BoguS experience I’ve ever had at a store. Customer service was fine but did nothing to try any help with the situation. Last time I get something directly from them. Sell broken merch but don’t take care of your customers. Nice.

The motorcycle museum, that is on the sales end of the shop, is a must-visit. It's interesting and fun, and there are tons of cool bikes. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical at first, as I had never heard of this place before, but WOW...what a collection! This shop is definitely on my list of places to return to. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I'm sorry to be so late sending this. Looks like the gentlemen I wanted give kudos to are not on your list. But I'm gonna send this anyway. Last August, I had a flat tire at 5:00 rush hour traffic, right outside Buddy Stubbs store on Cave Creek Road. I was able to pull into the parking lot here, tried to call roadside assistance, but was on hold forever. I went into the lobby and asked if there was anyone there who might be able to put my spare tire on for me. These 2 gentlemen, Justin and Eddie, started working on my car. Eddie was the manager at that time and had to go back into the store, while Justin finished the job for me. He even took my spare back to the shop & filled it with air before he put it on. These guys were, and are, amazing! Helping an old broad(haha!) during August AZ heat! I came back the next day to tip them, as I didn't have any cash the first day. Wherever these 2 gentlemen are, if it's possible, please pass this on to them, that I can never thank them enough for their help, and going WAY above and beyond!! I also attribute some of their generosity to Buddy Stubbs as well, for hiring such great guys!! Much thanks to all!!"

Always got different directions on which bathrooms to use based on whether you asked the instructors or whether you were asked by a sales floor person.

Fantastic experience: "Both Ethan (regarding our new motorcycle sale, upgrades and delivery), and Kari (regarding the purchase of motorcycle gear and helmets for my wife and I), truly delivered on helping us to find exactly what we wanted with the best of terms. They truly cared about our concerns & priorities, and they really worked hard, all in a pressure-free environment! A great example was when Ethan said he'd follow up with regular status reports on our ordered add-ons, he did exactly that ON or before the day he said he would. He even replied back on a day he was off work which I didn't initially know or expect but greatly I appreciated. There were NO EMPTY PROMISES!! In fact, there were pleasant and unexpected things done that we so greatly appreciated. Things like; delivering our new motorcycle free of charge to our home 2.5hrs away, or Kari helping us to come up with cost saving ways to purchase the helmets we wanted! These people, along with some others, are the reason we are committed now to come to Buddy Stubbs (2.5hrs away) for all of our service and repair needs when initially, very early on, I felt skeptical that the drive wasn't worth servicing the bike there due to the long distance because I have much closer options. And, if I ever consider buying another bike, I most definitely will be a return customer. REAL Integrity, follow-thru & TRUE customer care are qualities not generally associated with vehicle dealerships (at least in my life's personal experience). Negative experience: Walked into the dealership to look at buying a new motorcycle. Walked around for 15 minutes and was not greeted or even acknowledged. Employees would look at me and my daughter and walk away. Seems like they were more interested in being on their phones. I won’t be going back.

Fantastic experience: Every once in awhile I'll need a part for my bike that none of these dealers around Mesa don't have. But Buddy seems to always have. It's a little ways from Mesa but it's worth the trip. They have a really cool museum of motorcycles from one of the first Harley's made to Evel Knievel's motorcycle. They have a friendly, more than capable staff with a full line of clothes, accessories, and collectibles. Can't find the part you need? Go see Buddy he'll usually have it Thanks for your great service Buddy.

Fantastic experience: Great dealer! The staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help find whatever you need. The on-site museum is worth the stop in itself! There are a lot of bikes to check out, and the collection seems to keep growing. The dealer sponsors bike training classes last I knew, so you can take the course and pick up your new bike all in one place. The dealer also has a satellite location up in Cave Creek. You can stop there for clothing and accessories. They put on a "Bartlett Lake Ride" every few months. They offer breakfast burritos, coffee, and water before the ride, and a raffle when you get back. Law Tigers donated a $100 gift card for the winner. Stop pin and see the place for yourself! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: We booked our reservation to rent a 2020 Road Glide limited with Robert at Buddy Stubbs 9 months in advance. When we arrived at 10:00 the shop was already open and people were already there getting their bikes, we did not have to wait long before we did our walk around on our bike. The gentleman that showed us our bike and did the walk around was very nice and he set our first destination on our GPS for us. We own a bike so he did not have alot of explaining, we did appreate all of the helpful hints of the local scenery and the route that we were taking. During the 4 days and many miles the bike performed flawlessly. The check in went quickly and that allowed us to spend some extra time in the MUST SEE Buddy Stubbs museum!! Do not miss the museum if you have the chance to see this. The employees in the store were all very friendly and happy to help with all of the clothing and merchandise. When and if we get to go back to Arizona we will definitely rent another bike from Buddy Stubbs!!

Fantastic experience: I just purchased a 2023 road glide special from Buddy Stubs Harley-Davidson I gotta tell you...I Love these guys! You won't find another Real Harley-Davidson dealership anywhere in Maricopa County and possibly all of Arizona. They are just a bunch of good old fashioned no BS, no pressure down to earth good ole boys with tons of experience!!! The way it should be! In addition to that Buddy started the first Harley-Davidson dealership in Phoenix in 1966! All the other dealership that I visited are owned by large corporations and the sales guys where in their mid to late 20's and couldn't answer half of my questions without going and asking someone...not at Buddy Stubs they nailed every question and even educated me on some things I didn't know. Buddy and his 2 sons own it. And every employee I interfaced with had nothing but positive things to say about Buddy and his Son's. Why on earth would you purchase your dream bike from one of those other Conglomerant owned dealerships is beyond me.

Negative experience: Again. Just like my last visit. I walk in wearing my red Buddy Stubbs shirt and nobody acknowledges me during my entire visit. I spent lots of time in clothing, helmets and HD accessories and nobody came over to assist. Then I wandered over to parts. Looked at every isle and no acknowledgement whatsoever, Again. Very sad buddy stubbs. I'm buying things for my 22 Road Glide. It's Saturday, 13 May 23. It's 4:19 as I enter this review.

Fantastic experience: I brought my 2003 883 sportster in as a first time customer, and the manager of the service area came up and showed me his 2002 883 and all the upgrades on it. He was very personable and even saved me a good deal on labor because it took a few minutes longer than expected. I wish I remembered his name but he is the reason alone I will be returning for future services. Thanks for the great experience.

Negative experience: I've had 3 visits to this dealership. How they've fumbled through the last few decades is pure human ignorance. The 1st time, I went with a friend and neighbor who was very short. The salesman didn't seem to care about my friends comfort, safety or anything but selling him a bike. I had to walk away. the next time I went to their event for bike week, and had a good time watching midget wrestling but after being repeatedly told that your name on the raffle ticket must appear exactly as it appears on a valid drivers license or you will not qualify, and then big bob got to play and won I bet his license did have big bob on it so I lost all respect for there ethics. it was rigged My neighbor purchased a new bike from them, which never made it home. I had to help him tow it home after it was smoking and leaking everywhere. They found it was over filled but that was after I had to tow my neighbors newly inspected just purchased motorcycle which made it 12 blocks. this place is a joke even if they did fire one of the people who caused the oil problem, its hard to find good honest people and I wouldn't go here if they paid me I'll buy an indian before I'd buy a harley from here...

Fantastic experience: They have the best staff in the whole industry. Their basic ride class was absolutely amazing. The instructor was outstanding. He gave us all the tools we needed to feel safe and confident in our progression through the class. The sales team is extremely friendly and helpful. The gear sales team was world-class. Fantastic experience: I have bought two road glides in 2-1/2 years from Buddy Stubbs. Great people to deal with . I just bought a 2022 cpl weeks ago and had them put rineharts on it. Rode it 100 miles and told them i didn’t like them and wanted tab performance 50 cal. They said no problem bring them back and we will swap you out no extra charge. Fantastic experience: This dealership is an awesome place to visit. The staff go out of their way to find whatever it is you're looking for, and they have so much to see. If you've never been there, the Buddy Stubbs motorcycle museum, is over the top, and the guide that offers information on each and every exhibit, is a wealth of knowledge. My son and I spent 2 hours taking the tour, and it was worth every minute.

Negative experience: It took them 5.5 months to repair my bike. They purchased parts before they new what was wrong with the bike. Then put on parts that I didn't need replaced. I had the old parts checked and was told they were fine. Of course the dealership checked them and said the opposite. They cost me over $1000 more than It should have cost because they didn't know what they were doing. The bike I have is hard to get parts for so I believe they were stuck with the parts and didn't want to lose money. Had they opened the bike up and actually saw what was wrong with it they could have saved months of time and would not have needed to purchase a cylinder and piston. The dealership messed the timing up and it took them over a month to figure it out. Early in the repair process when they finally realized there was low compression in the rear cylinder, they told me they couldn't get gaskets and I should buy a new motor! I had to get the gaskets and send them. They will say they didn't charge me for all the labor but the truth is that the labor was them guessing because they aren't truly Buell certified. The cylinder still has the hash marks from the factory and was miked 102.9 mm on both ends. They claim it is egged shaped and couldn't even give me the measurements in MM. Just admit you made a mistake and give me my money back.

Negative experience: I very rarely post reviews, but I thought I’d share this. I recently got a bike, so I went in to get a helmet. I asked for help with measurement and Paige assisted. I left the store with a Harley Davidson helmet she suggested, I went over my budget and spent over $300 to make sure I was getting a quality helmet. After talking to friends who ride they pointed out the helmet was too big. I went back to exchange it and they said I couldn’t return it, even though they measured me wrong. The helmet had never been used, and I simply wanted to swap it for the right size. Very disappointing, it seems like they will sell you anything to get it off the shelf, I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Great dealership. Great place just to hangout. They have a great motorcycle museum people are all super friendly and helpful. If you need a motorcycle it's one of the best places to check out. I have a Harley already but I will buy parts there...

Negative experience: Unfortunately these guys don’t stand behind their product. After the sale is done they could care less. I bought a brand new bike from these guys. I thought they were a decent dealership. So I bought a really good friend of mine over to buy a bike. As soon as he wrote at home immediately started having problems with it. It was the tuner that had gone bad they would not replace it literally happened the same day he brought it home. They suspect it might even be a bad ECM still would not talk to him about it. They do not stand behind their product. All they could say is take us to court. Lol what a bunch of goofballs

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to Harley stores all across the United States, but this way BY FAR the best I’ve been to. It is humongous and has gorgeous bikes! The snakes are also beautiful and are a great edition to this amazing store!

Fantastic experience: When nobody else would get me in for a battery charge or replacement, they said if you can get here, we got you. And they had me. They had to hunt down a part for my old bike, but found it nearby and went to get it. They were friendly and welcomed my chatty anxiety with good conversation. I dealt with people in service, parts and retail. I was greeted or offered assistance by so many people in a welcoming manner throughout the store. The product line was a good variety and well stocked. They told me they had me, and they really did, all around. I'll be going back here for more service when some things come in that I ordered. The owners photo timeline of sorts of him, him and his dad, or him and his sons and the many accomplishments he has done was so interesting to see and learn about Mr Stubbs. He had some bikes on display that were over 100 years old, some of the original hogs, photos of the Davidsons on their first bikes. It really was easy to pass the time browsing this place.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I came in contact with was extremely courteous, part department was extremely efficient at doing multiple things at once. They also have a museum that is packed with incredible motorcycles and not just Harleys, all in all it was a very nice experience. If you are thinking about learning to ride they can also accommodate that on site, go and check em out!

Negative experience: I purchased my bike from them on 7/2/22. Very unimpressed with the sales process, and I’ve been in sales for 10+ years. They charged me $600, supposedly, to go through the bike from their service shop. Upon riding the bike home, within the first 15 miles, it blew a line and ended up dumping a bunch of oil. When I came home and checked it out, it had multiple leaks in the rocker boxes and a blown line from the oil cooler. Checked the oil to see how much was lost, and realized that the oil was overfilled even after dumping a 1/2 quart on the way home. Took the bike back to the dealership, got it back a couple days later and still had an unresolved oil leak and now has an exhaust leak out of the rear cylinder. I have a warranty forever with these guys and still wouldn’t let them touch my bike for free ever again. I recommend using any other service department because the incompetence of these guys here could be dangerous for a rider.

Fantastic experience: Just picked up my Lowrider ST. The only think better than the bike was the treatment I got from Ethan,Eric, and Frank. No games no market adjustments and amazing follow up between the day I ordered and the day it arrived. Have bought bikes from a lot of dealers over the years but will only buy from Buddy Stubbs team going forward. Thank you for a great bike and amazing experience!

Negative experience: Impressed by the speed with which the team at Buddy Stubbs serviced my bike recently. There was a bit of a wait to get the bike in, but once there it was done the same day that I dropped it off. Everything was repaired quickly and correctly the first time. I appreciate that. Please note that the service entrance is on the North side of the building which is sort of like the back of the building. Bit hard to find the first time. Next visit went quite the opposite. Very disappointed. Consistency matters.

Fantastic experience: I purchased my first Harley from Buddy Stubbs, and I cannot praise the folks there enough.  My wife and I went to several other dealership locations - one other that was specifically a Harley dealership.  We didn't so much as get a "hello" from these other places.  The people at Buddy Stubbs were completely different. Very welcoming and friendly.  I especially want to express how appreciative I am of Rick who sold the bike to us.  He was very knowledgeable - he helped find the perfect fit of a bike for me; he was essentially the reason I came out of Buddy Stubbs with a new bike.  He even waited past his shift to make sure I was on my way with the bike without any issue. Clyde in the parts department was very patient with us as well and made choosing accessories for the bike seem effortless when it could have easily been a rather overhlwhelming task.  Kari  helped us get some new gear, and she also was very down-to-earth; she was also very knowledgeable with selecting new helmets for each of us, and shared her own experiences with wearing helmets. Again, I want to thank the folks at Buddy Stubbs for making the process of getting my first bike feel absolutely stress free.  I appreciate them for being so personable, knowledgeable, and patient with us.  I will definitely be a regular there.

Fantastic experience: Best of many great Harley stores I have shopped on 6 continents. I have purchased parts, and of course t-shirts here. Very friendly staff knowledgeable parts guys (My ride is a 2003 softtail custom) the best in service and stock on hand. The main store for AZ bike week as well.
