Fantastic experience: Indianapolis Southside Harley has always provided us great service over the past 10 years. Their staff is always friendly and willing to help but give you space.

Negative experience: I’m very sad that I would be treated like I was dumb by a one person in that store . I asked a question about a bike. This is the second time I have visited this store. The woman were absolutely wonderful but it just takes one asshole to ruin my experience in a Harley Davidson store. If I ever go back to store I hope it’s a better experience!

Fantastic experience: Wife and I bought our first motorcycles from Southside, a few months later, wifes brother bought one. Go there for everything from shopping for gifts to motorcycle repairs. Even had them stay open late for us once. Get a chance, stop and say hi, look around and who knows, you just might see something you have to have.

Fantastic experience: I am prepping for a cross country motorcycle trip and dropped the bike off at SouthSide Harley. The staff was extremely helpful in addressing any and all concerns with the motorcycle along with luggage and riding gear. 2005 Softail Deuce for reference.

Fantastic experience: I always find the sales department extremely helpful whether I'm purchasing accessories or at the parts counter. Many times I've ridden a little further to get to their selection.

Positive experience: I had a charging issue on my 2019 Electra Glide Ultra Limited. It took a week for them to pick my bike up another week before they got it in the shop then they had it two weeks after that. I had them do the regular service while they had it and when I got home it was leaking oil. So I had to return it to the shop again and they had it an additional four or five days for what they called a faulty oil filter. Now once again issue and if that's completely died on me. I'm not really sure but I don't think they quite fixed it the first time so I'm not too high on their service department.

Fantastic experience: Southside changed out my handle bars and grips on my 2022 883. They always service with a smile and make you feel like family. Southside is two times farther than the nearest dealership to us but it’s well worth the drive.

Fantastic experience: We rented a couple bikes through Eagle Rider which went really smoothly. But we also interacted with many others in the establishment who were very helpful and outgoing. If I were in the market for an HD, I would most definitely buy from this shop.

My sales rep was Mike Green, and he knew his stuff. He was understanding and very professional. There weren't any tricks or back and forth on anything. Fantastic experience: 15000 MI service, rear tire, and rear brake shoes. Awesome job. My only complaint is my bike did not get washed. When I asked about it they said they don't usually wash bikes when the customer is waiting. That is all fine but I really wish I would have been asked if I wanted to wash or not. Keep up the good work

Fantastic experience: I have bought every one of my new Harleys from Southside and can remember when they were a small store on South Meridian St. What a great staff welcoming and helpful. Greg in Parts is a Rock Star along with George in Sales! And I cannot leave out the women of Store Side who are all fantastic. All I can say is THANK YOU for maintaining a great Dealership when to many have lost their way.

Positive experience: Service was great, team was very helpful. Disappointed that transport charges were applied after charges for service/repairs for my bike. I was not aware their was a charge when I called and set up appointment with service department. My dealership in Texas provided no charge transport.

Fantastic experience: Had a rear tire go flat on my way from Illinois to Kentucky. Was 10 minutes from Southside Harley, they came and picked me up got the bike in and out and was back on the road quick. Great customer service, glad they were close by.

Fantastic experience: Took my 2017 soft tail in for fluids change and brake flush and fill before my 4th of July trip to Detroit. They found out battery was bad and worked with me for two days while I got new one. I couldn't have asked more. I had a hell of a trip and enjoyed myself alot. Thanks for everything.

Fantastic experience: I had stripped out my transmission drain plug when doing my oil changes. Got with Harley Davison south and scheduled repairs . They came to pick up my bike and had it repaired in a timely manner. By far the best HD service I’ve had.

Negative experience: Called this place to get two .99 bolts and this place refused to sell them to me because I'm working pit of state at the moment. Un top of that was very condescending like I'm supposed to know I can't buy bolts for bike because I'm calling from a different area code. What a prick!! Definitely will never do business here, I'll take my money to his nearest competitor next bike I buy.

Positive experience: Went in to buy oil and spark plugs and waited over 30 min and still was not even able to make a purchase. Was never even asked if I needed help. Horrible customer assistance.

Negative experience: They picked up my bike for a no start problem and I wanted it washed and waxed and new tires installed 5 days later they called and said it was done when I picked it up it was not washed and they did no tires I ask the guy and he said well it’s on the work order and I guess they missed it I took it to the north side and had it finished they have lost a good customer as I have 2 bikes and they always had my business this is no way to treat your customers

Fantastic experience: Over the weekend I was riding from central Ohio to western Illinois when my bike broke down about 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis. Called a couple dealers to see who could help me and Southside Harley said they’d squeeze me right in. Got on-site about 4:30 and they close at 6:00 but an absolutely awesome tech named Andrew Bridgeford quickly figured out it was a bad rear ABS bearing. I was back on the road by closing but they were committed to get me rolling again no matter the time and the whole staff treated me excellent throughout. I highly recommend them if you’re in the Indy area!

These guys were absofukinlutely awesome to me, pushed my bike to the front of the line , fixed my issue quickly, didn't empty my wallet to do so and seriously treated me like family. Negative experience: I honesty didn’t want to even give 1 star. Greg, the parts manager has to be one of the rudest individuals I have EVER encountered. I’ve worked in retail and customer service my entire life. If I ever spoke to a customer the way he spoke to me, I would be fired on the SPOT. Just be prepared they will not see you anything if you aren’t in their system.

Jen and Ameara took excellent care of me to make sure my new HD jacket fit me the way I wanted and needed it to. They fitted me for chaps and ordered them for me. Fantastic experience: Stopped by the dealership why I was in town for a business trip. I was greeted by a smiling face(Catherine) she took the time to give me the history of the store and it was family owned. Then I met George and he was super friendly and took the time to talk. I have been in dealership all over the east coast and by far the friendliest store I have ever visited.

Fantastic experience: Did my Basic Rider Course training here to get cheaper insurance as well as adding a motorcycle endorsement. Everyone was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Greeted with good service from the door to the garage. Highly recommend the course even for a seasoned rider. Excellent training course!

Negative experience: My boyfriend purchased a bracelet for me for Christmas and some of the beads were discolored. So I needed to return it and get another one. They did not have one in stock so had to order it. Not a bad experience but not a good either.

Negative experience: I've been going to SS almost exclusively since I started riding. My last experience earned them the loss of my business. I had them put a stage 2 kit on my bike that I had recently bought new from them. After the work was done I kept getting random spark knock. I took it back to them the next day and they said they couldn't hear any noise. Told me to ride it around and if it happened again bring it to them. I took my bike back to them a half dozen times or more over the issue. They recommend a new tuner so I bought that at had them do the tune but it still didn't fix the problem.I was finally. told by Tommy that I just wasn't riding it right. Finally the bike would randomly just quit running and left me stuck in Michigan. I got it back to southside they kept it a week and told me they couldn't find the problem without charging me more labor. I lost my patience paid the 120.00 to southside for nothing and took it to another harley dealer who found the problem in 45 minutes. Southside when installing my stage 2 had cut the throttle body wires and did a poor job repairing them. Then when installing the new breather they crushed the wiring harness they repaired pinching a wire in the bolt hole. I took it back to southside so that they could make the repair and see there mistake. They made the repair and gave me back my 120.00 on a gift card that I had to spend at their store. They refused to make good on the rest of the money I spent trying to get my bike to run right. They refused to accept responsibility and said they didn't cut the harness despite them being the only ones to ever take off my breather considering my bike was new. They refused to honor the warrenty on their work. I'll never trust southside again IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT... yes it was fixed but only after I spent 160.00 at another dealer to find the mistake your technician made and another 360.00 at your shop to have the tune reinstalled after it broke down in Michigan. Your technicians just denied everything despite the fact i just bought the bike new from you and you being the only ones to work on my bike. Your head tech said "Maybe it was done at the factory" but it wasn't his tech. How could I not feel ripped off by your shop?

Fantastic experience: There hasn’t been a Harley Davidson story that hasn’t been friendly. But these guys at the parts counter know what’s is the best stuff for your bike. After all they know what parts have know to be a failure and what parts haven’t. And the sales lady’s in appeals also know just where there items are that your requesting are located and are willing to go get them for you. Thanks for being polite and professional at you hectic environment on your busier days.

Positive experience: Went to service for a collision repair. Work overall was fine and no real complaints with time or communication. However, I am short and had reduced reach forward controls on my motorcycle and they replaced them with standard forward controls instead so now I either have to by and install them again myself or barely reach my brake pedal. Edit: Fro reached out and took care of it all.

Fantastic experience: My name is Bill I took my 07 ultra classic to south side Harley on the say so of a friend who told me all the old school mechanics are at south side my bike had top end noise and I had to head home to Arizona before the snow flys the old school mechanic that worked on my sled not only got my sled running but he got her running better than it's ever has I got home 2days ago not only did it run flawless I ran 100 mph all the way home it ran so good I am in California now at my mom's house for Thanksgiving thank you south side you are my go to for as long as I am in Indiana good job . Ok Southside I don't know if anyone will see this but this is for you I just got back to Indiana from my vacation today is 3 /17 /24 I have put 10 .000 miles on pearl touring around California Arizona all out west she is running just as strong as she was when I picked her up 3 months ago I changed the oil twice and I rode her like I stole her and she performed flawless just like she did when I picked her up 3 months ago I really want to thank your old school mechanics that worked on pearl the piece of riding with no worries I'm sure you understand thank you again. I don't care if anyone reads this but y'all . Bill

Fantastic experience: Great and extremely courteous service as always it's a great place to get your accessories and more. Compared to other places, like that one in Taylorsville we all know don't want to disem but you know it's a whole different vibe in your store and it's much much more pleasant and you have so much more than they have to offer couldn't even find a long sleeve collared shirt there at all and you're just a top notch facility. Thanks for that !

Fantastic experience: They have a great variety of clothes and items, there are alot of bikes to choose from and if you get a dyno tune the service dept go over the results and give you a thumb drive unlike some dealerships.

Positive experience: The departments they took me to after buying a new to me bike were awesome. I had found the bike i wanted over the weekend online and hurried and rushed in once they opened to get it. It was a weird buying experience but all in all i got what i was looking for and they took care of what i needed.

Fantastic experience: Didn't respond until now, this began on 9/9/23. The major problem was the ignition switch, first one lost in shipping, the second probably took about 10 more days. Not SSHD's fault. Picked up on 10/11/23. The new rear brake rotor was not the one I ordered, and the ignition switch cover wouldn't open. Called Michael in service, we agreed I would bring it back in, put on the correct rotor, had to be ordered, and check the ignition switch. All corrected on 10/25/23. Michael went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, I didn't personally deal with the service manager, but I appreciate his efforts as well. Took a while, but ultimately, SSHD service worked very hard to make me a happy customer. Which I am. Thanks to All! Keith
