Fantastic experience: This place is great! My daughter did not do the full driving course through them, but she did take a few driving lessons and the final test with them. They are caring and professional and they really helped her feel confident and ready for the test. The person who administered the test was so good about putting my daughter at ease and calming her nerves. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Awesome place and instructors! I did 3 2 hours drive lessons and passed my test in 3 weeks! Highly recommend! The owners are awesome people as well!

Negative experience: The website doesn’t show your in person classes to see if people can do them and it’s confusing. Your website is not it is all I’m saying.

Negative experience: DO NOT I repeat DO NOT a waste your 400.00 on this place , my daughter took course and she can’t even back out the drive way . Why you ask because they didn’t show her how to drive oh she got her 7 hour drive time wow now I get to pay someone else to teach her. Save your money go some where else

Negative experience: I took the desk class in April 2023, it was decent, honestly would give this place a five star if it wasn't for the driving part. My first time behind the wheel today, I had a terrible experience with an instructor by the name of "Otha"... Something like that. I did my best to maintain my composure and stay respectful, but he kept giving unclear instructions, his commands on the road would constantly contradict each other and I would be scolded for being flustered for not knowing what to do. About twenty minutes into my drive I'd say, I was stuck waiting for instruction for a moment because he decided it was a good idea to catch up with an old friend on the side of the road. Additionally, for well over half of my drive he'd have me doing twists and turns through residential areas and driving down busy streets but the other student driver was led to a rural area with little to no traffic and straight roads. Genuinely a horrible experience, I dread the fact that I have six more lessons here.

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school. They take the time to teach teenagers to become safe drivers. They have plenty of instructors and it is best to schedule with different instructors and learn different styles. My child took additional lessons and she came out as a safe driver.

Fantastic experience: My son had an excellent experience with this company. Learning to drive can be scary and stressful, but these people really understand the process. He took his driving test with them too. We found them to be very well put together and organized. We're very happy that we used Lubbock Driving School!

Fantastic experience: No idea why people have said to only get the classroom portion. We did it all and so far have had no issues with getting a drive time scheduled. They even offer weekends to practice. We've been happy with the service.

Negative experience: Only take the classes! The drive time, is when availability is available. Usally when my teens where in school, had to take them out of school to do drive time. In which they do not provide school notes. You will be charged $25 for no show or late cancelation. you also can not call the drive school because no one is there untill 4. If you do not pay your fines you can not get your teens papers for there DL. Also if the weather is bad they do not cancel drive time!

Negative experience: The class is good but don’t buy drive package just class only. They’re not going to take you to drive lesson. My daughter only drive one time. I had a difficult to reserved time every time they send me a text or email about schedule to drive. It’s wasting your time. So I rather to teach my kid to drive at home.

Fantastic experience: All 3 of our children have had a great experience with the driving school. We just adore the owners and all their instructors. Mr Carlos was great in showing our son the ropes of lbk driving. Very professional environment and always keeping us informed. They made 3 great drivers in Lubbock with our kiddos. 1 more to go.

Fantastic experience: I've sent 2 of my teens here. They are great! I was too scared to teach them myself. The instructors are wonderful, they put my girls at ease and made them safe, confident drivers. 2 down, 2 to go!

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous about beginning the driving process for my daughter, but Lubbock Driving School was amazing! Yvette and her husband are extremely professional and personable! The instructors are patient, understanding and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this driving school!

Negative experience: I have took my class in April of 2021 and I haven't seen or heard for any openings with drive time,?!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was hesitant to use Lubbock Driving School because many years ago I experienced bad customer service. This time around, new ownership has provided amazing customer service. Every time I call with a question about my son's driving or information about papers to fill out the lady on the other end takes her time to answer all my questions in detail. Good value for all students who are ready to get their driver's license. I highly recommend Lubbock Driving School. Low cost and no hassle. The driving coaches are amazing and professional.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took the texas driving test for a new driver. Make sure you have your paper work in order before going and everything will go quickly. Great customer service.

Negative experience: I was taught at this school when I was learning to drive. I figured since it was a ice enough school that my son would do alright with it. I was so wrong. While the class room learning was good, the driving was not. My son did not even finish all the driving training due to having to sign up on a website for the hour but every time he got on the site all times were taken. If you pay for class and drive time you should be able to have said drive times scheduled at the same time. I will teach my other children how to drive instead of taking them to this school. I am so disappointed in the new owners and their ownership of this school

Fantastic experience: My other kids went to a different school and the staff was incredibly rude. I heard this school was under new ownership. Glad I switched. Much kinder and more professional!!

Fantastic experience: We had our oldest daughter & her cousin attend Lubbock Driving School. The staff was always a great help & very thorough on their expectations of the students. So glad they have reopened. Our youngest will be signing up this summer!

Negative experience: I wish I could give negative stars. I sent my daughter to this school to save me stress... she still doesn't know how to drive...and I'm still stressed out! Also, I'm pretty sure they just pass the kids along...

Negative experience: And the floors are overed with carpets the floors are dirty they have old vending machines in there place just needs a better look doesn’t look professional and the seats are old loud uncomfortable

Negative experience: My son went to this school about a year ago. Go somewhere else, please. Instructor fell asleep in the car while son was driving on the loop. Instructor had my son drive to a outdoor statue shop, he shopped while the kids sat in the car. Really! Some instructors were awesome like Coach Perez! Other instructors questionable! Somewhere else has got to be better!

Fantastic experience: Both of our daughter ‘s have attended drive’s education here great staff and great teachers as well.

Negative experience: I have no doubt the school will teach you how to drive and give you a thorough understanding of the rules of the road, but the service and employees were not great. Mrs. Eubanks was very nice and good teacher. A few of the instructors were very rude. When it came to drive times I found myself nervous more than anything. The instructors need to realize that for some students this is their first time driving ever. Depending on the instructor some were very snippy about minor mistakes and downright rude. The instructors being rude and reacting strongly to small mistakes lead to me being even more nervous and prone to mistakes. I was not disrespectful to them either. It’s not like I had a problem with my behavior and provoked them. They also give out many papers that all day basically the same thing about when to pick up your certificate and the rules.

Negative experience: I usually don't write negative reviews. I would have given two stars because your paperwork and explanations were very organized. I wish I could give zero stars for two reasons. 1. Extremely verbally abusive and condescending driving instructor. When I called to report it, I was told he was 'no longer with us, but most students just loved him'... even after I explained that we later learned that many students at my teen's high school do not recommend Lubbock Driving School because of this instructor's reputation. A year later we are still working with our teen to overcome the fear and timidity he instilled. 2. to offset the 5 stars you gave yourself to offset the other reviews. I mean, seriously?

Negative experience: The customer service was awful. Valerie... the office lady... was so rude. I explained that we were taking our business elsewhere. Their competitor does not require every piece of paperwork to sign up, they just care that you have brought it all in BEFORE the first day of class, which is all that I asked of the Lubbock Driving School. You would think that this school would want to have at least the same customer service as their competition. IF they would have said, "Oh, I am so sorry, but our policy won't allow us to sign your child up without every piece of paperwork," then I wouldn't have thought they were being rude. There is a way to treat your customers with respect and kindness, but then there is the way your school treated us. I think the lack of respect is why you have so many negative reviews.

Positive experience: Great Staff and good fleet of vehicles to learn to drive in

Positive experience: Staff is very friendly and will help you out if you demonstrate respect for your elders. Extremely informative program. I highly recommend doing Driver's Ed here. However, if you are a jerk and don't know how to treat authority figures, go somewhere else. Better yet, fix your attitude.

Negative experience: I went to driving school in a another state.... Just wanted to say if you've ever driven in Lubbock, you should know you would know that there's no way any of these schools could possibly have a the slightest idea of what they're doing.

Negative experience: they have the worst teachers, one of them almost hit my car when I was entering in the loop

Positive experience: I'm going to agree with #Steph W. Um the Irish lady was very rude and told me the wrong time.... However Mrs. Karen E. Eubanks was very sweet professional and understanding. She gave more breaks than she had to and answered questions to the best of her knowledge

Negative experience: Hated every minute at this place. Everyone was rude here. The irish lady that ran the office was extremely rude. She should not be working with teens. The instructors were rude and wouldn't let you do things on your own.They acted like they were above us teens. Could not wait to get it over with. Go anywhere but here!! Drive Trainers is so much better.
