Aberdeen All Star Driving School

Positive experience: The only reason im giving this place 3 stars as opposed to 1, is because the ladies in the school are awesome. Now, if they could only get their driving test instructors to show up to work... When my son went in for the written test they were having to turn people with scheduled drives around, due to the instructor not showing up that day. A week later... they (Ron) pulled the same stunt on my kid's drive test. It was a 2 hour round trip drive to get there, just to have him no show on us. Thankfully, the Live & Let Drive school in Long Beach made room for us, on zero notice.

Fantastic experience: The people here are super friendly I felt like I was walking into a home not a business it eased my nerves I would recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: They took my payment for driving school for my daughter, over the phone and asked that I come in to sign the contract before the first when the classes start. They said I could call anytime and if they are not available to leave a message And I left a message to let them know that I needed help with getting the DOL number for this contract and that I was going to come in a certain time to sign it and that I would have very little time to do so and needed assistance quickly that day. Mostly because I am a caregiver and I asked my clients parents if I could take him with me to get this done before the 1st because I work all week during when the school is open to come sign the contract and they already took my payment from my bank account and won't return my calls or answer the phone calls and I went there with him and there were too many people in there and I asked for somebody to come out to speak with me because he can't be in there because he's immunocompromised. We were out there and it was 48° sunny but we were under the porch and it was breezy and my client was shivering so I had to then lug him back down the stairs in his wheelchair to take him back home and not sign the contract because they refused to come out and help me in the period of time I had available because I have to get him back to do more care for him. I won't be using there services ever.

Negative experience: Никому не рекомендую эту школу для сдачи экзаменов. На экзамене по вождению инструктор своими указаниями постоянно нарушает правила дорожного движения, пишет вам штрафные баллы из ниоткуда, вдобавок выдумывает нарушения которых вы не делали. Всё для того, чтобы собрать с Вас денег за перездачу.

Negative experience: The old man who works here should not be teaching anybody anything. I am more confused about driving after getting a lesson from him. He has multiple complaints and racist accusations. Everyone else is awesome and I'm sorry you have to work with him.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend All Star Driving school. The lady (with her dog) was very kind and she recognized every faces and names of each students and that’s very commendable. The owner Debbie and Terry were classic. Debbie was very gentle while Terry was strict but both of their teaching skills were very effective. At first, I had zero driving experience at all, I did 2 driving lessons from them and today I passed my skills test. So, if you are a student or new to driving then Aberdeen All Star is for you. Thank you so much All Star!

Negative experience: Office staff was nice and very accommodating. But the older driver instructor was an absolute a******. My aunt showed up with her insurance card that started the next day, because she put the new one in and threw away the old. So he would not allow that car to be used even though, we had watched him in previous times allow this. When offered to call insurance on speaker to verify, he said NO, practically yelling .Instead he forced a $100 fee to use their electric car, which was totally new and didn't get adequate time to adjust to. Then during the drive test he gave dangerous instructions, including parking in front of people's driveways and such. When politely pointed out that this was dangerous and we were taught in the handbook not to do this, he proceeded to get very upset, raised voice and say do what he says or fail. There's only made the nerves worse and made this a horrible experience. Do not recommend especially if you have somebody with PTSD or anxiety. It's a shame this instructor acts this way, when everyone else there is so nice and accommodating. I don't recommend this place unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service! First, their building was super clean and looked amazing! The customer service was amazing, and I passed on my first try. I have two driving instructors with me who were all super kind and thoughtful. On the few mistakes I made, they kindly explained to me what I had done wrong and kindly pointed me in the right direction to the dol ☺️I definitely recommend going here.

Negative experience: Don't go here!!!! I went here August 2020 (middle of Covid) and was given a drive instructor, an older man new to Aberdeen all-star having come from Olympia. He was rude, touched me without permission, gave dangerous instructions, and would grab the wheel workout telling me beforehand as well as not wearing a mask. When my mom came in after I told her about these issues he got really aggressive and started yelling and calling me a liar. Another instructor thankfully heard what was happening and came over to help saying she'd take me but he started arguing saying duck that we'll just refund the whole amount and they can go somewhere else. When that wasn't allowed he tried to say I didn't pay a fee and that I couldn't continue until I payed it (I had and kept the receipt so nothing came out of that) but he needs fired!!! I think Llstars a good school and the other lady I as given was great but DONT let your child with the older man instructor!!!! He needs to be fired

Fantastic experience: Went in today to see about scheduling a drive test. After having nothing but issues with cascade driving school earlier in the day. And talk with Deb and she explained every possibility of what could have been the issue with cascade since cascade wouldn't do there job nicely. And even had me show her the questions we had about my drive with cascade.And informed me about it. And even told me she would take me on my drive right that minute and she was very calm and patient with me the driver while they were driving. She makes you feel very comfortable insteed of uncomfortable. And will answer any question you. She also explains your results of the test to you after words in away that you will understand. So if you fail your drive dont give up listen to her explination of your test results so that you can practice and fix issues for next time so i highly recommend all stars to anyone. All stars might be a little more expencive then cascade but in this case the statement you get what you pay for iss 1000% the truth... Thank you deb.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is doing great! Awesome driving school!

Negative experience: Originally, I thought this place was fine. However, on my daughters 3rd drive I showed up 20 min early to only be told that I was actually late and would be charged a $35 “no-show”. The drive was schedule for 3pm and I was there at 2:45 and was told they had 2pm. The girl who scheduled it appeared to be in high school and I am sure she either gave us the wrong time or wrote the wrong time down. Either way, we arrived at the time we were told. I have been informed I will pay the $35 late fee regardless of whose fault it is. Even though the receptions said there has been “mass confusion” in their office. If you decide to go here, be prepared to not have an idea of what’s going on. I drive an hour to get here so it’s very unfortunate to be turned away and to be told I need to pay them for their mistakes. I am very disappointed in their lack of communication and lack of confirming appointments. Understaffing seems to be a big issue also.

Fantastic experience: The ladies here have been wonderful through my whole process. Officially passed my skills test today and they made the whole thing easy as could be. I suggest them whole heatedly.

Fantastic experience: Open for business, remote learning aut up and working. Drives are limited to one student at a time. Nice staff.

Fantastic experience: Because of medical problems I have been restrained from getting my license while I watched everyone around me move forward and get their license... Today I finally took the plunge and went for my drive test and I'm so thankful I did! It only took 15 minutes, went very smoothly, and I passed my test and am finally licensed! Very friendly employees, cute dog in building, if you need to go for your license I suggest going here!
