Fantastic experience: I'm generally very nervous when it comes to driving so I kept delaying learning to drive year after year, until I couldn't delay it any more since I recently moved from the city to Tarrytown and I also now need to drive myself and my baby to daycare. I chose Better Driving School because of the high reviews, and Wilson delivered. He taught me not only solid driving skills but also good habits so that I can be safe on the road. Fantastic experience: Today I got my license! I am very grateful to Wilson. Coming from another country, the roads are different and some rules change. I am an anxious person, but Wilson was very nice and made me feel at ease right away. He has his way of joking and is always ready to answer my thousand questions. Before my test I was nervous and felt that my last driving was uncertain compared to the previous ones, and Wilson told me something that I will try to keep in mind. Driving, like any other experience in life, has its ups and downs. It is with time that things improve and we become more confident in ourselves. I honestly believe that he is a very competent and precise guy in his work. Always punctual for my lessons and available for emergencies. I have only done three driving with him, and I am sure that if I had done more at the exam I would have been more relaxed. He understands well what your weak points are, he points them out to you and makes you work on them more. Personally I wish him the best and thank him for the preparation he provided me!

I can say that I learned in 5 h lessons from Wilson more than I have ever learned about driving. Fantastic experience: I am so happy to recommend Better Driving School. I am in my 40s and was *extremely* anxious about driving, having failed two road tests in my 20s. Before finding Better Driving School, I previously took driving lessons with 3 different instructors who only made me even more nervous about driving. My lessons with Better Driving School and Wilson were the difference that finally made me feel more comfortable about driving. Wilson is extremely patient and calm and worked very thoughtfully to build my confidence as a driver and I passed my test "the first time" after those failed tests 20+ years ago. Finally, Wilson was always very accommodating in helping me to drive me (and my daughter!) to where we needed to go, which I greatly appreciated. I cannot thank Wilson and Better Driving School enough.

Negative experience: Called to get a package of lessons as a gift. Avoid this place, just a guy in a car, not a driving school, no website, only takes cash. Asked if he had insurance to teach, stated, “not right now”! This is either a scam or a random person who did not follow proper channels of owning/operating a driving school. Look elsewhere.
