Fantastic experience: I have taken In-Car driving lessons here, given test at the driving school and yes I got my license. Huge thanks to Mr. Paul. He is very kind and helped me with learning all the driving skills. I really appreciate Mr. Paul for his kindness and patiently teaching me all the required skills.

Negative experience: Unfortunately they have us all wrong information over the phone and all they wanted is to collect the fees and now we have lost the fees as we can’t take the test. Over the phone they let us know what to bring with us and never mentioned we have to get a permit from DPS first. We showed up and they said no rest today and it is a $35 to reschedule and the 1 hour course we took is valid for 90 days and the closest appointment we can get with DPS is in 6 Months. What a wasted of time and money.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited here to take my DPS road skills test, and I had a fantastic experience! The examiner, Mr. Paul, was extremely professional, calm, and encouraging throughout the process. His clear instructions and patient demeanor helped me feel at ease, which made the test much less stressful. While I didn’t take training here, I can confidently say that the professionalism and supportive environment make a great choice for anyone looking to build their confidence on the road. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Frank is an amazing instructor hands down! He made my kid feel very comfortable while taking the driving test. He genuinely cares about his students and for that i am grateful.

Fantastic experience: Today Shane helped me get the driving time in I needed in such a short notice. If you call this school you better pray you get Shane on the line cause with him you will get what you needed done. Shane knows what he’s doing and deserves 5 stars from everyone! He really did that for me and I’m so thank full. Shane you did amazing I’m so greatful for you! You deserve a raise big time.

Positive experience: So far we’ve had some interesting instructors. Amanda was nice and concerned about the students. Joe is pleasant and as well but he’s not available on weekends. No issues with Mr. Boyd. But then there’s Bennie - whom at first glance criticized my teen’s appearance. Apparently he was talking too much while giving conflicting instructions, waving his arm/hand too close to the students face and steering wheel, and making ridiculous, unnecessary sound effects and repeating BAM! BAM! BAM! I have this on audio if anyone doubts me. Let me tell you Bennie that my teenager is there to learn -not by choice! These are teenagers who need guidance and instruction, some compassion, and a lot of faith. Instead, you are tearing them down by judging their appearance first, then disrupting their focus by talking nonsense and getting in the way of their view, not to mention intimidation by throwing around a military tune, then comparing one student to the next that’s in the same vehicle giving praise to one while criticizing the other’s driving. The disparaging remarks are not appreciated Bennie! You need to quit your job and work in the prison system if you want to belittle and put individuals to shame and do your BAM BAM BAM rap! We need instructors with patience and poise because you should teach by example if nothing else.

Fantastic experience: Mr.paul is very amazing way better than dps. He made it very comfortable for me and way nicer.

Positive experience: We had a mixed experience with this driving school. We only did the 14 hours of driving and observation, not the classroom portion. Most of the drivers were fine, some didn't pay attention while the student was driving, some grabbed the wheel while the student was driving, and some were helpful. Communication is not the greatest, there was one class that was canceled 10 minutes after the appt time while my child was waiting in the office. I tried to email them about the missed class and I never got a response. Despite other reviews, the schedule is actually pretty easy. The calendar looks full at first but they send auto emails when new appts open up. We had no problem getting classes scheduled.

Positive experience: My son needed a driving test, I scheduled with Mr Paul -a true nightmare. Mr Paul didn’t communicate well, was condescending and rude. My son didn’t pass test on 1st round. I scheduled retest at no extra fee with Mr Frank…..WOW ….what a difference. Mr Frank greeted my son and made him feel comfortable from the start. He communicated what to expect and had a sense of humor.. My son passed! Mr Frank is the best. Avoid Mr Paul at all cost.

Negative experience: Here's our experience with PDS: a) They lack on available days/timeslots on their behind-the-wheel lessons. Its June today and the next available slot is on September. Most (if not ALL) of their students are teenagers. By September, teenage students are back in school already. We enrolled our kid in Summer driving classes, so not to interfere with school days in the fall. b) Behind-the-wheel lessons. The supposed to be 14hr-lesson is actually 7-8hrs only. Because there are always 2 students in the car per appointment. While 1 student drives for an hour, 1 sits at the back waiting. Also, lessons are most of the time cut short. The supposed to be 2-hr lesson is cut short to 1.5hrs or 1.75hrs. There were even a few occasions when there were 3 students in the car. c) Classroom lessons. The supposed to be 32hr-lesson is actually 30hrs only. They canceled the class for last 2hrs of the course.

Negative experience: The classes were fine and the test process was quick and simple, but some of the instructors here should not have been as rude as they were. There was some great instructors who taught me well and were patient with me, but there were also some very rude instructors here. I was yelled at and mocked during one of my lessons. The people teaching here need to understand that these are young teens who are going here to learn how to drive, not to be belittled and yelled at. Seriously don’t understand how people like Al can work here when it seems like every other review I’ve read also complains about him.

Negative experience: I would like to share my experiences with a horrible driving instructor, Al. For someone who is driving for the FIRST time, it is essential to have someone who is going to encourage you and actually give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. This guy, Al, was borderline terrible and JUST the worst. He would scream very loudly if I did something wrong, he would tell me to turn lefts and right in the last second and then get angry if they weren't proper and he would push my hand very aggressively. I came home doubting myself and I am so scared to go to a class again, even if it means wasting $350 I spent on these classes. I don't understand how someone so horrible can even be allowed to teach young drivers how to drive? And after reading many common experiences with the same driving instructor, why is this person still teaching there? Please, if you do wish going here, MAKE SURE IT ISN'T WITH AL.

Positive experience: I would give five stars if Al was not an instructor here. My daughter is taking in car lessons and her first session was with Al who yelled and grabbed her arm and the wheel when she didn’t understand what he wanted her to do. She and I talked through that and practiced and she had sessions with Mr Boyd which were fabulous as can be seen with other reviews. Then because the schedule is so tight she ended up having another session with Al and the exact same thing yelling and grabbing her arm or the wheel. I then sent an email to the company never hearing a response. I had to sign her up for her last session without knowing who the instructor was and when it came out that it was Al I tried to get it changed but couldn’t. They stopped the car and she called me telling me all about what was going on. I had to calm her and get her back in the car because there just isn’t availability and told Al not to touch her or the wheel. I feel this man is a disservice to this company and should not be teaching our young people or anyone who has never driven because he can’t teach in a positive manner. For this I can’t recommend the school if you are left to drive with this man.

Positive experience: Here’s a review i did a while back on my first driving experience here, i would not recommend driving with Al.. especially if your a new driver. “ I believe his name was Al. He was awfully rude and impatient. He grabbed and yanked my leg aggressively when i didn’t understand where the break was when we got in the car. Yelled at me when i didn’t fully understand how to do a certain turn and such..overall was super rude and impatient. He was visually aggressive and verbally, absolutely never working with him again. I ended up crying home from all the amount of stress he gave me. I’m assuming the other people from the reviews were talking about him as well when they mentioned “aggressive”. Absolutely unacceptable.” The reason i leave a 4 star review is simply since, i’d recommend driving with Mr.Boyd! He’s a super patient guy and has taught me so much! :))

Fantastic experience: I brought my twins to Prosper Driving School and they both enjoyed the experience. They loved driving with Mr. Boyd because he is extremely patient. I would will definitely bring my youngest back here once he turns 15 years old.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with Prosper driving school. All employees kind and professional. Communication was top notch. Mr.Paul prepared my Daughter for her driving test and out her nerves at ease. Had testing with Mr. Frank and it was very professional and my daughter felt very comfortable and was not stressed at all. We will definitely be returning customers for our other children in the future!! Good job!

Negative experience: That school is irresponsible, I had an appointment for my exam and they never came to go to the exam with me, I lost money and asked permission in my work because of their irresponsibility, they are inconsiderate, they did not recommend it at all.

Negative experience: When I joined this driving school, I hadn’t really driven before so I expressed that because I really wanted the teachers to be patient with me but that was not what I got at all. The teachers were not nice to me and I had one that would constantly yell at me whenever I made a mistake. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Negative experience: Shaun was very polite and professional. I asked him about the payment program on the website. On the website it says you can pay half now and half after the class is over. But that is incorrect, if you do not pay in full your child will not be able to get their permit until the class is paid in full. So be prepared to pay in full. It is hard to speak with anybody so best of luck if you have a question. If your child uses there car there is an extra 35 dollar fee amd you have to pay 65 dollars for your child to do the driving test with their company. So be prepared to pay at least close to 500 dollars. Other then that my child liked the instructors, but I felt I had to do more teaching my child to drive which I felt uncomfortable but we did it. I was hoping the school will teach my child.

Fantastic experience: After an underwhelming experience at another driving school in Frisco, we decided to try Prosper Driving School. We could not be more pleased! Our daughter passed her test today with a 94!! Shane and the staff are awesome - responsive, accommodating, and all-around good people. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Let me start this review by saying I threw my hands up trying to teach my daughter how to drive. The fights that ensued, while white knuckling the seat as she nonchalantly made her way through yellow lights. I couldn't do it anymore. We were referred to Prosper Driving School and I was happy to turn my 15 year old over to them. To my surprise in the first session she had improved.Each week I saw marked improvement. By the end of her classes I had a confident driver. The school is extremely accommodating. The best part for me... Not hearing "MOM stop nagging me" Yesterday on her first try she passed her drivers test with a 96. Prosper driving School also offers the option to take the test and avoid the DMV. for a very reasonable fee. Trust me do this. Shane and his staff deserves the accolades I am bestowing. They Gert 2 thumbs up.
