Tom's Superior Driving School

Fantastic experience: Had a really great experience here and was taught many things. I was also shown many scenarios that I would not have known what to do if it wasn't for Tom's teaching. I would recommend Tom's to everyone looking for a great driving education.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter recently completed her driving lessons with Tom and we couldn't be happier with the experience! From the very first lesson, Tom was incredibly patient, professional, and knowledgeable. He made her feel at ease behind the wheel, even when she was nervous. His clear instructions and practical tips were invaluable in helping her become a confident and safe driver. He tailored each lesson to her progress, ensuring she mastered each skill before moving on. They were also one of the few local schools to offer IN-PERSON classroom learning, which was invaluable. Tina was an absolute delight to communicate with. She is so kind and generous with her time, answering our many questions throughout. We highly recommend Tom’s Superior Driving School to anyone looking to learn to drive. Five stars all the way!

Fantastic experience: Both of my sons attended Tom's driving school. After the classes, they would be super talkative retelling the stories. Both boys were able to get their license on their first try. The examiner that tested my youngest son asked if he went to Tom's because he is so confident in his driving.

Negative experience: The driving school was fine. I got to learn from there, HOWEVER, the wife, the red headed lady, was very impatient. She especially had an additive with the women drivers, while Tom, I didn't drive with him so I didn't know, but that red headed lady even had am attitude problem with my Mom. If I were to take this again, she wouldn't be talking like that with me again.

Fantastic experience: Both of my sons enjoyed Tom's Driving School. They both would come home from the classroom and in- car training telling stories of what was discussed and what they learned. The instructors, especially Tom, clearly had them engaged and knows how to keep their attention. Definitely recommend this place!

Negative experience: A woman called on the Sunday before my son was supposed to start driving school. She was rude and condescending, after we hung up I looked at my husband and asked if it was just me. We sat on it until Tuesday morning and decided we would prefer to have him go somewhere else then potentially have him feel uncomfortable behind the wheel. Disappointing due to the reviews.

Fantastic experience: After 23 years of driving, Tom's Driving School is still a fond and important memory to me. He made the classes fun enough to keep us interested, but also made sure we knew and would remember how serious a responsibility driving is.

Fantastic experience: 20 years later and I still rememeber everything Tom taught me. He tells stories from his first hand experiences in captivating and sometimes heartbreaking detail. He really drives home his messages and truly cares for his students. I think I may owe my life to this man. No other local school even holds a candle to this mans business. Negative experience: We paid hundreds of $$$ for this driving school. My son started last sept. It is now January and he has yet to begin the behind the wheel portion because they are “backlogged”. clearly they booked more students than they could handle being greedy. Had we known it would take this long for our son to get behind the wheel training after paying hundreds of dollars we would not have signed on with this driving school. I’m not sure how they have such high reviews

Fantastic experience: We used Toms as the schedule worked better for us than other places around. I am extremely pleased with how well prepared my daughter was come time for her driving test. We will definitely use Toms again and recommend to others!

Negative experience: Tom uses too much profanity during the classroom education. Several students have complained outside of class. He can teach and get his point across without using profanity.

Fantastic experience: Khalil is a great instructor for in cars. He taught me a lot and made a lot of conversation. Came out a way better driver then before.

Fantastic experience: A great place to start driving! Tom teaches really well and cares a lot about the students he puts effort into knowing there names even tho there there for a month hopefully, and he want the best out of every student no matter what. My in car instructor Mr. Z was extremely polite explained everything well and if you had a question he would answer the best he could. All around I would highly recommend going to Tom’s I had the best experience and I wouldn’t want to choose any other driving school!!!!

Fantastic experience: I called Tom’s Driving School when looking for a place to get my daughter in. Tina answered the phone and was super friendly and helpful from the start. She helped me get my daughter in as quickly as possible by going over our schedules and being creative about when we could make it work. Even though Tom’s was not the most convenient because we live a bit farther out, it was totally worth it. Thank you to all of the instructors for your time and patience; I can imagine it’s a scary gig at times : ) We understand and appreciate the importance of your job and will recommend Tom’s Driving School to others!

Fantastic experience: It's a wonderful place to have your young first time driver get lessons on driving. I highly recommend it to you, please give them a chance. They have a lot of patience, extremely helpful with young people.

Positive experience: Took a while because of Covid, but we eventually got everything on the books. My son got his “in car” appointments completed in a weeks time.

Positive experience: Tom is a wonderful instructor and very helpful. All he wants is for his kids to succeed! However, Barb is another story entirely. She was plainly not helpful during ALL of my in-cars and INSISTED that, when driving a road with cars parked sparsely on the side of the road, you MUST weave in between cars. Well, I did that on my first driving test and got points off because of it. DON’T DO THAT. It was ridiculous. Overall just not helpful. She obviously played favorites. Everyone else was pleasant and perfectly helpful.

Positive experience: My son had one of the instructors insist that "9 and 3" (clock) is the wrong way to hold a steering wheel. Rather, the instructor insisted on using the outdated "10 and 2" hand positioning. I wouldn't even have much of an issue w/them saying 10-2 is preferred, but to bluntly dissuade my son from using 9-3 is just bad form... Other than that, the rest of the instructors were good. (Don't like that they're always different, but probably hard to coordinate for a driving school I suppose). Fairly hard to reach people on ph.
