Negative experience: Don't bother with this school they appear to be out of business..

Fantastic experience: I initially attempted to take the test on my own but didn’t pass. However, with the expert guidance and training from Edison Driving School, I was able to successfully pass both my CDL pre-trip inspection and driving test. Their instruction was clear, thorough, and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to earn their CDL!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t of asked for a better experience from start to finish Julia made the whole enrollment process fast and easy and always very attentive if I had any questions or issues I might of needed any help with. Definitely have to give a big thanks to my instructors Jordan, Ed, and Tony. Always patient and gave a through explanation of any question I had. Never made me feel bad or embarrassed about any mistake or shortcomings I might have ran into. Even after I failed the first time around and started to doubt myself they never lost faith in me, and came out strong the second time around. I got a lot to thank these guys for. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere but Edison 100%

Fantastic experience: This is one of, if not the best, trucking school in LA. Friendly atmosphere, and very family oriented. They understand that every student is an individual. And that every student learns at a different pace. They work with you as an individual. Taking time to assist you in the goal of getting your CDL. I stay in Compton, and I don't regret traveling the 30min drive. Most of the trucking schools in my area are no good (Maters Trucking Academy ). If you're able, I highly recommend this school to you. It's well worth the extra time it takes to get there!!

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and friendly staff. Answering every question I had. Very helpful and made me feel comfortable. And they work around your work schedule. Open on the weekend is the best part for me. Since I work Monday thru Friday and it's perfect for me.

Negative experience: I signed up for this school in July 2021 and I was promised the moon long story short a whole year went by. I never got a DMV appointment made for me or even an opportunity to show that I was ready for the DMV they showed me how to do skills But never went over a walk around inspection, by March 2022 I kept asking to have a DMV appointment made for me but no one would ever get back to me once it was about a year since I signed up I got a call from Tony saying that it was my fault that I haven’t got it done it was pretty frustrating especially since I asked many times for the opportunity. At that time I would go 2 to 3 times a week at 7 AM and nobody would be there. I would only practice my skills and I was motivated and dedicated, but had no guidance. $4500 that took me a good amount of time to save just went down the drain. Thankfully I was able to save up again and I joined another school that got me my CDL in four weeks. They did in four weeks what this school couldn’t do in a whole year. Save your money and just go somewhere else. I’m really not the type of guy to leave bad reviews but I wish somebody would’ve warned me before I signed up I know I’m not the only one who went through this as well.

Fantastic experience: Passed my cdl B with my passenger endorsement all thanks to Edison truck an bus school ON THE FIRST TRY .i was so happy with the school an the way they teach I came back a year later to get my CDL A. There was no reason to go elsewhere or look for another school. Everyone is there to help an answer any questions u have to prepare u for the test. They are very knowledgeable an work around your schedule.i recommended this school to all my coworkers an family that are interested in getting a CDL .that saying is true "u get what u pay for" because I feel like every penny was well spent. Don't take a chance an waist your time on other schools. Go straight to edison if ur serious about getting ur CDL.

Fantastic experience: This school is spot on. Tbh tony and Ed are very informative and give you all the necessary tools to pass with flying colors. It took me 2 months to get my CDL B license here. And to top it off I pass my first time hit it out the park on my first try. All thanks to Ed and Tony . Best school hands down

Fantastic experience: Edison Truck Driving School was the one for me! Eddie and Tony are masters of their trade. They give you all the tools to succeed but it is up to you to put in the work. I got my license in a short 2&1/2 months after showing up with my permit. Channel and Gladia in the office are both very nice and helpful, they go the extra mile to answer any questions or concerns you might have

Fantastic experience: I love it

Negative experience: disappointments 1. It was a constant struggle to get hours. Did one hour per week for two months, then i got "upgraded" to two hours per week. everytime i would ask for more hours i always got push back and different excuses as to why i couldnt do more hours 2. Practice on streets (no yard) 3. wasnt always "one on one" as they said I passed CDL test becuase of my firend who dedicated hours with his own truck to teach and instruct me.

Fantastic experience: Took me a while to what I want to say about Edison. I get my CDl from Edison 2 years ago. Got my 1st job driving end dump in 10 days with my paper license with Ed help. Didn't have any crazy issue driving other than old truck and Job side at point A and B. once I start applying everything what school taught me for out there then I know Eddy and Tony taught me well how not to get in trouble and being safe out there, in my crucial 1st 2 years After 2 years Changing different companies, my last company with JB Hunt port division.Thats where I learned great safety things to practice when you're behind the wheel with crazy driving. Remember school is where you get your license but experience is where you learn from daily driving. Now I just bought my 1st truck, you be surprised when I called up Tony, he will walk through all that permit, required paperwork that you need for truck patiently and gladly. That's what recognize a great school with care. What people say negative about this school neither understand being truck diver job or they aren't ready to be one or may not 1 for them. Old equipment? For sure they will give you the oldest tuck they get in your 1st driving job 100%. No shade? You deal with that when you waiting long time at loading and unloading.. For me it was Smooth 3 month process to get my license. School gladly work with my schedule while I doing Uber. Pay attention don't Skip the yard days and ask a lot of questions there isn't any stupid question for beinger. Be surely, not so Rush and be safe out there Guys. You are in good hands and good place . Thank you Eddie and Tony .

Fantastic experience: I love this place I'm a student now and I paid in full they let me work around my schedule it's the best no rush no pushing me around just total acceptance all the way Tony and Eddie are the best teachers.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with this school. I had high expectations from reviews. They have very old equipment. They only have 2 trailers to practice. There is so many students on Saturdays and Sundays. You are only available to practice on yard Saturdays and Sundays. The space is very limited. There should be better equipment to practice and the bigger space to practice. There is no communication with students. For example when the school is close there is no notification. You drive from far just to see school is closed. They should send you as courtesy a email or a text alert. They also rush you to complete and take your test even if you feel you are not prepared. Staff should be more patient with students. Fyi if you dont pass test by 2nd time they charge you to take trailer to test $250.00. Do not pay in full amount if not you will have to be stuck with the poor management of school. *** School please dont take this personal is called freedom of expression ***

Fantastic experience: Edison trucking school has an awesome group of instructors, who are 100% dedicated to help you succeed. Very impressed with the way they spread out classes through out the week and the weekend, to make it more available and convenient with your personal schedules. Also don’t let the financial part hold you back from getting your CDL, Tony or Eddie will work with you on that. Thx Eddie, Tony and Jeremy.

Fantastic experience: If u are planning on getting your A or B license GO here. Tony will not only get you your license but the equipment they use is what u will probably use on your 1st job. The whole family goes out of their way for u. I got my license in 2014 but I can still go back to edison school if I need anything. Tony used to drive me home to Santa fe springs so I wouldn't have to take bus. Great family. God bless'em! They really work with you. Not just that, this is a better school than the rest. I would have never been able to pass a road test for my first job if I didn't go to edison. They get u licensed and trained to succeed in the job market. THANKS EDISON TRUCKING!!!

Fantastic experience: I got my commercial driven license there long time ago (2006).. I recommended some drivers to get their licences there too .. ⛟
