Fantastic experience: A club school was a 10/10 experience for me. They are very nice and helpful I recommended Thomas as your instructor he really helped me out with parallel parking and helped Me ace my road test the first try! He’s a gem!

Fantastic experience: I started my driving classes last year in July. It has been a long process, but A Club has been so helpful. I was paired with Sebastián as my instructor and he is so patient and understanding. I struggle with test anxiety and naturally, this passed along with my driving. It took some time, but with a lot of practice in and out if class, I was successful. I had to take it multiple times, but I never felt judged by my instructor or anyone else, they were supportive and accommodated as much as they could - which I greatly appreciated. I just got my license and am so grateful

Negative experience: If I could I would give even less. Because how could he forget to sign the paperwork of a driving school student? Because of this situation, I suffered at the exam site. I definitely do not recommend it, it is an undisciplined and unorganized place.

Fantastic experience: This review is for Jeannette! I passed my road test on the first try after 10 lessons with her. I was nervous when I began driving but Jeannette does a great job of being patient and explaining things, even when driving in Sunnyside which can be stressful at times. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I did a 10 class package and acquired my driving skills with Michelle. I have never sat behind the wheel until I was A Club Driving School. I was able to pass my road test with first attempt! When you sign up with them, the office will make a schedule for you based on availability. They are somewhat flexible. Also make sure you’re there on time for your class since there’s usually another student after you. Driving in Sunnyside isn’t easy, but with Michelle, I was able to ease some of that tension.

Fantastic experience: I was taught and trained by Sebastian who was not only patient but also incredibly kind to me throughout the entire program. Prior to coming to this school, I had zero experience and never touched the wheel at all, but after completing 10 lessons under his tutelage, I passed the road test in my first attempt. He always answered all my questions and made an effort in ensuring I honed my skills before the big day.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with A club from Mary Ann who you will speak with to schedule all driving lessons to the instructors I had lessons with Michelle and Jeanette and they were both so good clear instructions this was well worth the money I took six lessons and passed my road test ! If you are looking for a driving school a club is the way to go

Fantastic experience: I was able to get my license with just 3 lessons from this school and 3 from a prior school. It was very easy to schedule appointments as they had a calendar of all the bookings/availabilities. My instructor was Michelle and she provided good feedback and helped me prepare for the road test by reinforcing good techniques. Would recommend this school to any interested in getting their license.

Fantastic experience: Ask for Jeannette! I have had few instructors with A Club and they all are very good. I am in particular impressed with Jeanette! She is an excellent instructor. With only two classes she eased my nervousness and was able to clearly explained everything I needed to know on the road in a way that's clear and concise. She took time to explain traffic rules, signs, and was able to demonstrate who has the right to go first for different scenarios. Jeannette also took great notes and communicated well what I need to watch out for, in real time. I really enjoyed taking the lessons with her and I will highly recommend her for beginners and people that want to brush up on their driving skills.

Negative experience: Very limited availability on weekends and i would not recommend the instructors at this school at all, especially if you're a new and nervous driver. I had two instructors, one basically provided zero feedback unless i directly asked for it and was late on several occasions, and the other couldnt empathize with the new driver/nervous feeling at all which made my lessons more stressful than they needed to be. Their lessons are also only 45 minutes and they will not do pick-ups, even if you're in the neighborhood. Other schools i looked at offered hour long lessons at the same rate and would pick you up and drop you off in front of your place. My experience with the office was fine and professional, but unless you're a seasoned driver and just need some refresher lessons, i wouldn't recommend this place.

Negative experience: I have called ahead to postpone the class, because of an emergency meeting. They have told me that I should have called 24 hrs before and cant take it anymore . Paid $275 for 5 classes and one is gone for nothing. They could have given another chance. What is this? SAT exam? Job interview? It is just a driving practice. So many cheaper options out there and better car quality. I have picked this one ,because it was close to where I lived.

Fantastic experience: First time ever driving...which was extremely daunting...but Jeanette made me feel so at ease. I had a lesson with all the instrutors at A club...mostly Jeanette as i think she has a way of making you feel very comfortable behind the wheel. But i have to say that each of the instrutors are all very professional and patient (which helps alot), they all have their own method of teaching so its probably best to find one who you feel more comfortable with and stick with them. Passed my road test today after having a lesson with Howard this morning...who made me feel very at ease before the test. Louie is great too. Thanks again guys.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school. I had Jeanette and Howard as my instructors. They were very helpful. I didn't have anyone outside of the driving lessons to practice with so I wanted a place that was an area close to the city that gave me the driving experience like a new yorker with heavy driving traffic. Passed my driving test the first try and ready to learn how to drive on the highway

Negative experience: Owner has no idea what he is doing do yourself a favor and go elsewhere I'm completely serious do not do buisness here seems like he is learning the job as he goes along

Negative experience: This driving school doesn't care about its students at all. They collect the money and that's it. Make sure you really take a hard look before signing up.

Negative experience: These people don’t care about the student drivers. they just care about money I saw their book and almost every body who has been their student failed. they want to come back so they get money.

Fantastic experience: I took 6 classes with Howard & Jose, and I passed the road test the first time! They both have different methods for parking & driving in general, but I found it to be helpful getting 2 different instructors just so I can see which way of driving fits me best. I appreciate that none of them yell at you if you don't understand even the most basic instructions. They're nice, patient, & don't push you to take more classes (even if you do need them). I'd recommend coming here especially if you're a nervous driver.

Fantastic experience: Having never driven before I was honestly thinking I'd need more than the 6 lessons I took to pass the test, wrong. These guys are awesome and know their stuff, they'll tell you what to do and what not to do. I had Louie most of the time and he's hilarious as hell and will easily teach you how to drive. Really great place

Fantastic experience: This is a great Driving school that has been around since the 60's. They must be doing something right! I suggest sticking to one instructor because once you get used to their method of teaching its hard to switch to other instructors. I have tried 3 instructors at this school and i highly recommend Jeanette. Very patience, lets you have complete control of the car (not constantly stepping on breakpad unless you make a dangerous move), provides you constructive criticism and points out your mistakes. Make sure you have an instructor that highlights your bad habits, you will need to change this for your road test. I bought 12 lesson package and i was never behind the wheel prior to starting my lessons. I passed my road test the first time with a very grumpy and mean inspector. When you take your road test, try to ignore the fact that the inspector is in the car with you and act confident. If you are confident your driving will reflect that and the inspector will think you have complete control of the car. They are some inspectors that like to be condescending and enjoy having complete power so don't talk back and just ignore their attitude if you end up with an inspector like i did.

Fantastic experience: Can't complain, only took 8 lessons and passed 1st time without any other driving experience. Stick with 1 or 2 instructors because I ended up with 4 and they all have different methods of steering control/mirror usage and It can be confusing. Louie was probably the best instructor.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very informative and quite helpful. My son was ready to learn how to drive and the staff not only put him at ease but most importantly me. After passing the road test A-club congratulated him and it was time to move forward. Purchased a car and went right back to A-Club for car insurance. It is not often that you come across a business that can comfortablely bring you from point a right to z with such ease. I would highly recommend A-Club and would rate them with four stars****

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended me A-Club driving and now I am so glad that he did. I am absolutely satisfied with their service. The staff was very helpful and friendly all the time, I even had to ask them to reschedule my road test appointment and they took care of it with total ease. I paid $225 for a 5 lesson package including the car rental for the road test, later I paid for two extra lessons because I wanted extra practice before my test but nobody ever pushed me to buy a bigger package or more lessons, opposed to other schools I visited that wanted to make me buy a big package. This school is affordable and has great instructors, I felt very comfortable during my lessons since day one. The instructors helped me to improve my driving skills and gave me great tips for the actual driving test. Now I am much more confident in my driving ability. I recommend A-Club to everyone who needs to learn or improve how to drive.

Fantastic experience: I used one of the packages the school offered and it was much cheaper then elsewhere....n every lesson I had lasted one hour... even though it was initially said "Minimum 45 min". Now that I`m planning to get my motorcycle license i`m about to use their services again... since is the cheapest package I found around $300 for 5 lessons and the road test included....
