From the very beginning, Paulette made me feel at ease behind the wheel with her calm and patient demeanor. She tailors her lessons to your individual needs, adjusting her approach depending on your level of experience. Her constructive feedback is always encouraging, and she never makes you feel rushed, which really helps to build both skills and confidence. She’s punctual, reliable, and always positive, creating an environment that’s both supportive and motivating. Thanks to Paulette, I not only passed my driving test but also feel confident and safe on the road. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: Gary Rich is a fantastic driving instructor! I am 25 and was very anxious about driving, starting practically from scratch, and in 10 lessons Gary had me road ready. I passed my driving test on the first try thanks to him!

Not only was he the ultimate professional, he was also very patient and showed our son the correct way to learn the rules of the road. My son just passed his road test and Gary played a huge part in this. Fantastic experience: Tom P. is the friggen mann! I took my one lesson at 12:45pm and he was very insightful and a kind person. I then had my roadtest at 1:45 pm at Hicksville and got a sweet friendly instructor with short hair and fingerless gloves. I passed!!!! My third time taking it and i finally passed!! Thankyou Northshore Auto School, you all rock!

Negative experience: This company has potential but not as proficient as they should be. The simple fact that they close the business in early September is a prime example. Alex can be pretty technical but he’ll cover everything about what to expect during the test. I asked if they provided lessons for beginner drivers and he said “No we’re a small business” which was perplexing despite what the website says. Overall I think they should be a bit more considerate, especially since I’ve received the certificate from here.

Fantastic experience: I was originally learning with Mitch driving school and the service was terrible. I took the road test 3 times with the same instructor and failed each time. I was convinced I was just a poor driver, but then I decided to switch schools and instructors. I had Adam teach me to drive and I had no clue how much I didn’t know. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have been able to pass my road test yesterday. I highly suggest him as your instructor, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Adam Nazirian is the most patient individual I have or will ever know. He took my nervous driver daughter and turned her into a confident and careful driver. Considering that because of COVID-19 she got no driving instruction from the school driver's ed, Adam started with a completely untrained driver and turned her into a kid who was able to pass the skills test on her first try.

Fantastic experience: I had an extremely positive experience learning to drive at North Shore Auto. My instructor Adam was very patient, polite, and informative. I honestly wouldn’t have passed my driving test on the first try if it wasn’t for his help. He gave a lot of tips and pointers that I’ll use for years to come. Negative experience: I recently called them on July 12th, and the man I spoke with was absolutely rude. I was inquiring about a 45-minute lesson, to which he said, “Why haven’t you tried calling other schools?” I told him that I previously drove with them. He said that his assistant, Nancy, shouldn’t have set up any of those appointments to my location and reluctantly acquiesced into setting up an appointment.

I had thomas as my driving instructor. im so happy i took 5 driving lessons & passed my road test the first time ! i couldn’t be more happy i just bought my first car and ready to drive it ! im so happy i found this driving school. dear tom - Thank so much for everything you taught me , thank you for your passions & great service god bless you always.

Fantastic experience: I have been afraid to drive for the past 18 years due to a bad car accident in my early 20's. Thanks to all the great reviews about Joey, I decided to choose North Shore Auto School. Joey helped me to overcome my fear and I passed my road test yesterday, I never thought this was possible. Joey truly is a godsend, god bless her!!

Took my 5 hour class here also took lessons threw them my driving instructor was Joey and Joey is the most amazing person she's amazing at what she does extremely informative and so patient works with you until you get it and explain to yu what yu need to correct she will give you the confidence you need not only to pass your road test but confidence from that point on behind the wheel you will leave feeling confident and secure she takes her time and explains everything from your day to day driving up to what you need to know to pass your road test I've went to a few other schools before coming here and I left each lesson even more insecure about being on the road but that will not be the case with north shore I passed my road test on my first try thanks to Joey god bless her
