The instructor was very thorough with my son with both safety and instruction especially in weather conditions during scheduled classes. The testing instructor was aware if my son could handle being nervous out in traffic and how he would respond and remember what he was supposed to do. Fantastic experience: I had my road test today with Marc as my examiner, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we started, Marc was incredibly kind and made sure I felt completely at ease. He created such a calm and relaxed atmosphere, which really helped me focus and feel confident during the test. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely cares about making others comfortable, especially in situations that can be nerve-wracking. Marc isn’t just a great examiner—he’s a genuinely nice human being. If you’re nervous about your road test, trust me, with Marc, you’ll feel relaxed and supported the whole time. Thank you, Marc, for being so patient and encouraging. It truly made all the difference!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had an extremely positive experience after a negative and traumatic experience at the DMV. The instructors here were calm, understanding, and reassuring, and we would HIGHLY recommend using this service!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at John's driving school. I failed the test a couple times before at the dmv because of the parallel parking and I was so nervous. The instructor at John's driving school was very reassuring and made me feel more calm. The parallel parking was the first thing I did and it was easier after that and I finally passed the test!

Negative experience: No instructors in this area... I'll spend my 2k somewhere else, I guess....

Fantastic experience: Mack is the absolute best. Made me feel very comfortable and relaxed my test anxiety. He is an excellent instructor and is more interested in your comfortability and safety when driving. Could not recommend more!

Negative experience: Brought my daughter in law in for her test after she had lessons with John’s. She was very nervous and failed her test. Lessons were a complete waste of money. She’s defeated and depressed. Sad. Thought the goal here is to teach…this definitely was not a teaching moment for her

Negative experience: Different instructors will teach parking differently and will fail you if you use someone else’s technique. Do not recommend. Will take your money and run Edit response to- maybe if that was explained on site and the instructor was not a jerk about it on a Friday afternoon I would not have left such a review.

Fantastic experience: The driving examiner we had was outstanding to my son and helped calm his nerves after failing the first time at PennDot. It was a great experience and thankully he passed this time! I would highly recommend John's Driving School to take driving test.

Fantastic experience: What a great professional experience! My daughters first test was at the DMV in Shillington. The guy performing the test was very unprofessional!! First stop sign there was a tree truck with branches coming out of the truck and completely covering a stop sign. My daughter did not see the stop sign. Proceeded with caution. He failed her even though he said that she did everything else perfect. Went to Johns driving school for the test. She was perfect and the testing was super professional and Precise! I highly recommend staying away from the DMV because they set you up to fail!!! And they are not professional!! Mac was great, very professional, and was not out to fail her!!!

Fantastic experience: Great place for your kid to take his/her drivers exam. Both of my boys went here and it was completely worth it! The people giving the exam are nice and friendly and make it so relaxed for the kids. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Completely worth the investment! Instructor was professional and friendly and always gave me an in-person and email summary of each lesson, providing feedback on areas for improvement. They took him on the highway and also taught parallel parking (not my strong suit!). It was so easy when testing time came as well - no hassle with the DMV and the testing site was nearby. The gentleman who administered the test also provided feedback to my child at the time of the test, and he passed on the first attempt. I highly recommend John's Driving School!

Fantastic experience: My son gained so much knowledge, confidence, and safety. He had Chris and tested with Mack. From signing up to test day everyone we dealt with was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Will be using again for my other 2 children and recommend using them to anyone I know!

Fantastic experience: My son had been practicing on his own but we decided to sign him up for a two hour course just be he was forming safe habits. He learned some valuable skills that helped him ace the test and be a safer driver.

Fantastic experience: John's Driving School and Driving Instructor Dan Mitchell were about as friendly and professional as could be. They treated my 16 year old daughter Ava with care and respect the day of the test, communicated with us prior to the test to make sure we had everything we needed. It was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend John's testing process over going directly to a state run testing center. These guys are way better!!!

Fantastic experience: If you are nervous for your driving test, John driving school is the best to calm you down and pass the test in one go. I was really nervous but mark was so good and he made sure that I am driving smoothly and he was continuously cheering me up.

Fantastic experience: Hi! I always recommends John’s Driving School for third party Non Commercial Driver’s License Skill Testing Program. And specially the examiner TGM he is the best. He is very nice and Intelligent He was extremely friendly and did his best to ease my nervousness and make me feel comfortable. And under his instructions I passed my driving Test in first trail.
