Fantastic experience: They were a huge help!

Negative experience: Vey bad driving school , the owner only want money upfront, talk very nicely to pay the fees upfront, the trap is that the cancellation fees of 20 percent you paid.There no place that is doing so. I never recommend this place ,their fees is also high compared to other best driving school … plz don’t loose u r money!!!

Fantastic experience: My son used Mik driving school to practice driving and they were very helpful. We purchased the 6-hour driving plan and the DMV driving test as well as 1-hour highway driving. They were always on time with pickups and drop offs they pick you up and drop you off directly at your home. They were asy to schedule and communicated quickly and responsively through text messaging. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone else!

Fantastic experience: I used the "day of the test" service of which the company provides test takers with a car to take the test and a short pre-test training. Allen was my instructor. He came right on time to pick me up and he explained everything I needed to know to pass the test. Allen clearly knows all the ins and outs of the behind-the-wheel test.

Fantastic experience: Great for nervous beginners! It’s my one year driving anniversary and I felt compelled to give a shout-out to my lovely instructor, Ramesh! I had tried other driving schools who made me feel even more anxious(i could feel the instructors frustration) and I felt like i wasn’t doing any of the accelerating/braking. Ramesh made me feel at ease and I felt in full control of the vehicle. She’s very supportive. Passed on my first try ! Thank you once again :)

Negative experience: I would like to start off by saying that the people I spoke on the phone with are nice and they aren’t who I have the issue with. The issue I have is with one of my previous instructors. TLDR; If you don’t feel comfortable with your instructor ask for a new one. You need an instructor that wants to see you win and motivates you. A year ago I purchased a driving lesson in preparation for my driving tests. He taught me the correct procedures to drive but had a short temper and wouldn’t explain things without getting annoyed and calling me “stupid” I thought I had to grow thick skin so I did and pushed through. I later booked him for the drivers test privately through the school and offered me a discounted rate. I didn’t know better and accepted his offer. It seemed since I was booking privately, I wasn’t afforded the same courtesy when I was with the school. He constantly gave me anxiety prior to the test and never helped calm my nerves. Long story short I failed 4 times. First one was on me, I was nervous and screwed up. Second time I was so close to passing, but then I ended up at a traffic signal and I didn’t know what it meant. I thought my instructor taught me everything. It seems not. Third time, my instructor screwed me over big time. My nerves was through the roof since it was the last strike I had on my learners permit. What made it worse was that it was a very hot day. I asked him to turn on the A.C and he refused. Mind you, I’m sweating buckets and it’s getting into my eyes. On top of that he left the window open and bugs were flying in the car. He only turned on the AC when the proctor arrived last minute but it was too late and I was already nervous and sweat is still in my eye. I nearly ran into a car during my test since I couldn’t see properly. The driving proctor literally had to yell “BRAKE” otherwise I would’ve crashed the car. My instructor said it was all my fault and didn’t even take responsibility for the A.C issue. At the time I had low self esteem and felt terrible. I kept blaming myself for being stupid. Fourth time I failed, he made me take the bus all the way to freaking Van Nuys to take the driving test in an area I never practiced in. And since I didn’t have any scruples to refuse, I woke up at 6am and trekked over there. I’m still paying the guy to take the test in his car and HE STILL doesn’t make me feel at ease before the test. I was constantly belittled the moment the money switched hands. I later failed because once again, I wasn’t taught everything. I had 12 hours of driving under my belt and no one seemed to tell me that it wasn’t enough. I felt humiliated EVERYTIME i failed the test and my instructor never cared or even told me to practice more. He only saw dollar signs over my head. I felt taken advantaged of. You have the right to feel comfortable with your instructor. Please remember that and if they don’t motivate you, find someone else.

Fantastic experience: Today marks a very important day to me. I passed my 1st driving test!! For the most part, I felt nervous more than worried because I thought I can just take it again if I fail. That's the confidence of youth I suppose, thinking you'll get better chances when you fail instead of sulking about it. God placed good people in my life for all good reasons and my instructor is one of it and Im so thankful for guiding me with her knowledge. Thank you Nik & Ramesh!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had previously taken lessons from another driving school but had a difficult time learning. We later found this place and began to work with Carlos. My daughter passed her driver's test on her first try! I highly recommend instructor Carlos, he's patient and a great communicater.Thanks Carlos! Highly recommended this place to all new drivers!

Positive experience: The instructor was highly proficient, professional and patient. She arrived on time and communicated clearly. For this reason alone we would recommend this school. The business operations could use a serious update to practices and procedures. They are non responsive when you try to call, email, contact through the website or contact directly through their social media. It took over 6 months to receive a response to any of our requests. The owner was very difficult to deal with. Regardless, the instructor is the most important factor and gained our 4 stars for her professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend their service, it was easy to communicate, book an appointment and they teach very well. The owner is very polite and takes his work seriously, they are very trustworthy and teach great. They even ask you if you have any preference before assigning an instructor to you so if you're a girl and request a female trainer you can ask for one, I did not do that but got a male instructor who was very knowledgeable and professional. Totally worth the money.

Ms. Ramesh explains every single thing in detail, by drawing in pen and paper and pointing towards what's the mistake and how to fix it. She worked hard with an always smiling face and showed me how to drive without making any mistakes. Ms. Ramesh scored my driving like an actual test that helped a lot. Because of her, I passed my driving test in the first attempt. I highly recommend her and Nik's Driving School.

Fantastic experience: i took the 10 hour package for 5 sessions and i successfully got my drivers license !! ms. ramesh is such a kind, funny, and the best driver instructor anyone can ever ask for. she makes u very comfortable, gives you the best advice, and has many years of experience. on the 2 hour session before my 11:40 pm drivers test i was very nervous and i surprisingly had trouble parallel parking, ms. ramesh taught me a different technique and i did it perfectly once she showed me another strategy. i just wanted to say that if u ever pick nik's driving school make sure to request ramesh as your driving instructor she's the best and i would give her 10 stars if that was even possible, 5/5 i recommend. i also wanted to thank ms. ramesh again for being very patient with me, this was such a memorable experience thank you !!!

Fantastic experience: I passed the code a week and half ago and I called Nik right away and took the 10h package and today I passed the driving test on my first try with 2 errors only! Important to say, I never drove before having lessons with Nik! That's how good he is, explain very well and makes Shure your understood and ready for the test. Fantastic experience: I am the mom of the student - and Nik Driving School fantastic! As of yesterday - my son - because of this driving school now holds a new driver's license! He passed the test! YAY! Loved after the training - the course Nik sells that the day of test - they pick you up and have you practice and the student gets to use the car for the actual test...so it feels comfortable! AND the cars have a brake on the side of the instructor - that was great for when Brian first started lessons....thanks Nik and the Driving school! My Brian a new licensed driver ...YAY!

Fantastic experience: Nik driving school is great. I was put behind the wheel the first day, and after a short lesson we were driving through the neighborhood. Halfway through the first lesson I got to experience main streets and by the end of my training I was driving smoothly on busy streets like Ventura. Nik reviews each day before he lets you drive and makes it an active learning process. He is a very calm and patient instructor

I bought the 6 hours training for my younger daughter 4 month ago and Ms Ramesh and Mr Nik taught her , very well. Both of them passed the first time . I strongly recommend this reputed school to all young students .

Fantastic experience: My experience Nik Driving School was phenomenal. It was my first time getting behind the wheel and i was very nervous.The instructor was ALWAYS calm and never raised his voice even when i would make big mistakes. He would let me know what i did wrong, tell me how to fix it, and he would then make sure i did it again correctly. As we drive he gives you advice on what to do, situations that you may come across while driving, and teaches you to be a cautious driver that is aware of his/her environment as well as one that will be ready to take the behind the wheel exam. I am the third in my family to take lessons with NIK and every one of us has passed the driving exam the first time with no problems. Taking classes with him will highly increase your chances of passing the drivers test and i would recommend him to anyone that is looking for not only an experienced instructor but as well as one that helps you feel comfortable behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: Instructors take the steps necessary to enhance and correctly shape your driving experiences. Everything from bad habits to life choices, these guys embody the role of the instructor and TEACH which is hard to come by considering the amount of horrible drivers in the L.A. area.

Negative experience: I'm not sure if the instructors are different in every area but I did lessons in the Northridge area. I've had three different instructors so far and I can't stand any of them. These instructors are so uncomfortably creepy. As a young girl I was incredibly uncomfortable and would warn any other girls to not go here. I had my fourth lesson today with an instructor I haven't had before, He touched me a few times, and grabbed my hand while it was on the wheel as I was driving. He called me 'baby' numerous times, it was infuriating and uncomfortable. I was ready to turn around and drive myself home in the middle of the lesson, but for some reason I stuck through it. This wasn't the only horrible teacher, let's talk about the others. My first lesson I had a guy who played religious talk radio throughout the whole lesson on pretty loud volume. Also, when he showed up at my house he wouldn't stop asking me about a couple packages waiting to be shipped out. He insisted on helping me bring them inside even after my telling him multiple times that they're supposed to be outside. My second and third lessons were with a different driver. When I got into the car he grabbed my leg and kept moving my leg between the gas and brake as if I didn't already know which was which. This guy was the most obnoxious instructor yet. He would not stop talking through the whole thing, repeating the same things every few seconds. On my third lesson, I had an appointment at 3:30. This guy shows up to my house at 9:30 am, I was really annoyed. I can't really say anything good about this driving school. Every time I try to call the office, no one answers. One time I was very sick and had to cancel an appointment, I called three times, and no answer. I left a voice mail and they didn't respond until two weeks later. I have one more lesson to finish, although I don't know if I can take any more driving with these creepy, obnoxious instructors. After this last lesson, I'm so creeped out by the instructor that my mother will be joining me in my last lesson so I won't have to be alone. I hope other young girls will not have to deal with these creeps, please find a different driving school.

Fantastic experience: Took 5 lessons, 1 with Ken and the remaining 4 with Nik and they were good instructors. Nik was really attentive with my driving and kept reminding me and correcting my driving ways.While having previous experience driving in my home country and not here in the States I've lost touch in driving. Nik trained me in getting used to the road systems here and also helped me build up my driving confidence. After a 4 (2 hour) sessions, I managed to master the left turns at the traffic light and parallel parking as well as driving on the main roads. I passed my behing the wheel test the first time and did really well. Thank you so much Nik for training me for the past month! And to the rest of you reading this review, your research is done. Nik Driving School is the best there is.

Negative experience: Terrible driving instructor......just terrible, he was soooo freaking annoying and did not speak good English! I think their license to practice should be removed. The instructor was not professional at all and was on cell phone for 15 min.
