Ace & Bharat Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Geethendra , Khichi’s son helped me to get driving’s licenses. He taught me every minute things that needs to be taken care while driving. Driving test went smooth for me. Thank you Geethendra:)
Negative experience: This clown passed me on a double yellow line in a school zone and proceeded to zip right past a school bus with its stop sign open. You should lose your license. Late model gray Toyota Corolla. You have no business running a driving school. Also, I was in a turning bay with oncoming traffic. Basic driving rule is turning bay has to yield to oncoming traffic if there is no green arrow. I waited because there was a bunch of oncoming traffic. This guy started honking like a maniac. And when I finally turned, that’s when he decided it was appropriate to cut me off, cross a double yellow line, and zip past a school bus… in a school zone… during SCHOOL DISMISSAL… an elementary school no less, in my neighborhood… If you are a new driver, do not learn to drive from this maniac. You will only learn bad driving habits.
Fantastic experience: Mr. Khichi is an excellent driving instructor. He taught me how to properly understand the different parts of the road, when to use the accelerator and brake, how to make turns, and different types of parking. His techniques are really clever and easy to follow through and he ensures to make you practice until you have perfected it with him. He keeps suggesting to read the driver’s manual to understand the test items, and it is very helpful. He gives good recommendations throughout the entirety of the lesson. What I have learned in these six hours I don’t think I would have learned at any other driving school. He is overall very professional and has given me confidence in driving. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
Negative experience: I am extremely shocked to see any positive reviews. The owner only cares about money instead of helping students learn how to drive. Very unprofessional and would not recommend to new drivers or anyone.
Negative experience: This instructional driving service is THE WORST and beyond foul!!! This review isn’t even one star. He is unprofessional, inappropriate towards women, rude and unhelpful, and inappropriately handsy. He does not care about his job which is to help young adults learn. His communication misleads you which is basically a scam to take your money. Especially from innocent young adults. Also, they do not follow the DMV guidelines in any capacity! This degraded service needs to end ASAP!
Negative experience: The instructor will scold you filthily and make you feel filthy when you get out of his car. Very abusive, uneducated guy from some village I guess. Did not even wear mask during Covid time. I am an experienced driver with license and just wanted to learn Parallel parking since the state I took my license did not require Parallel parking. The kind of abusive words, listed below: - for holding the steering wheel in a particular way - to my general driving…. - He kept saying I will meet with accident, - He cant spoon feed me, when I asked what is the 45% angle. - he kept saying dont know driving, (he kept shaking his head) - Indians cant do paralle parking, the list goes on. Is this appropriate? I just went to him reading there would be simple technics according to the reviews. But NO!!!!! I just took one class with him and fell into depression. I cant imagine how he will train the new drivers. I am seriously wondering WHO gave the good reviews on his “””simple techniques…”””. ? I got cheated with the “nice reviews’. What a time waste and money waste. Btw His Parallel Parking technique wasn’t helpful at all. I just got trained from a different American Training School for Parallel Parking and they explained the technic wonderfully.
Negative experience: Such a horrible experience. This man is robbing innocent kids. They are con-artist. Shut this place down!
Negative experience: Horrible customer service. I'd rate it negative stars if I could. They don't follow DMV guidelines, try to milk you for everything they can. The instructors text the entire time they're with a student and provide no credible feedback.
Negative experience: DON’T DO IT. It was a nightmare “learning” from these people. The guy kept on yelling at me every time I made a wrong move, he made me feel so uneasy and almost degraded me. He literally said “you’re not going to pass”. When it was finally time to take my driving test I felt more comfortable in the car with the DMV instructor than with these people. I was so relieved to be out of that car.
Negative experience: Imagine running a driving school and not following basic rules. His car is parked at no parking zone for more than 20 mins. He is very unprofessional, rude and eats gutka during class that smells bad (at least dont eat during classes). He will insult you instead of guiding you. There are better driving schools. Save your money and time.
Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable and best tutor for Driving sessions . He gives good techniques for driving.
Negative experience: Very impatient..
Negative experience: Very impatient and not encouraging. Wouldn’t recommend
Negative experience: Today i took driving test. I failed test because of him. He gave 3 hours practice but not spent time on required training. Always he says, you need more practice... . I have car driving experience 10 years in USA and in India. I didn't hear any motivated words from him. Please choose person who gives motivation.
We strive to teach techniques that not only keep you safe while driving but also help you pass the Road Test. We will do our best to help you or your friend /family pass the first time!
Negative experience: This guy teaches you everything except driving. Doesn’t know how to show respect, he believes he is the only driving teacher in NJ who knows how to drive. Won’t let you stop in the stop sign- he will just ask you to slow down. He askes questions like- “did you read the book?—bloody how will i pass my exam if I did not read the book?”. He just focuses on asking you to come for more classes instead of teaching anything. Stupid guy always on phone talking to some lady. Accepts only cash.
Negative experience: Their pricing is outrageous for the 6 hrs it’s 295$ really?
Negative experience: Attitude guy...Too much aggressive and thinks he is the Sadguru for entire world
Fantastic experience: My wife has taken training from Bharath Driving School. Khichi is the best instructor, The way how he was teaching is excellent. my wife got license in first attempt in Kilmer road Edison. Kilmer DMV office is toughest one to clear road test, still she was able to make it. I strongly recommend to go with Bharath Driving school. Once again Thanks to Khichi.
Thank you Mani! We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing to be Safe with Ace!
Negative experience: Please don't go to this school. They are not good at all.wastage of money...
Negative experience: Please do not go to this school. Mr Khici is rude and aggressive. Terrible attitude for a teacher. He was chewing tobacco and speaking on the phone during my lesson. He will constantly insult you and believes that he is the only person in the world who has his life figured out. Please do not go here. I would suggest Ajay driving school.
Fantastic experience: Hello, First of all, I respect the reviews of all the people who took their time to make sure that their voice is heard whether it may be good or bad review. Like everyone, I went to Mr. Khichi through one of my friends referral as I was new to NJ and I didn't go through the test. I took my time and recollected where was my mistake. It's our perception that matters, I agree with few people that his technique is different and it's hard to understand because we don't want someone to teach us from the very basics as it'll be silly but that's the point here. I just went to him for the second time and those 2 hours I subsided my mind that I'm a good driver and listened to him carefully and followed his instructions and yes I got my driver's license. Thank you again Mr. Khichi.
Negative experience: i have the worst experience with them. firstly they kept me waiting for more than 45 min after the appointment time. when the person came, he was teaching to another student and i had been allocated 9 am slot and actually started my session at 10:10 am. else, the tutor was more interested in convincing you to take more sessions from him, instead of actually teaching. also he was more interested in giving irrelevant examples just for timepass. he was the best guy ever to discourage you and to break down your confidence if u haven't taken enough sessions from him n going for a road test. few tips he gave that could be beneficial to pass a road test but again overall experience wasn't good enough for even 2 stars. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM.
Negative experience: I would like to preface this review with a strong suggestion to not send your loved ones to this driving school. I had a lesson with Mr. Kichi (owner/sole instructor) today and it was traumatic to say the least. First, he came a half hour late and took my permit very abruptly. Then after 15 secs of driving down my own road he made me pull over and started telling me that he is the best driving teacher/business man in America. He then made me stop at his house where I had to sit in the car for 15 minutes while he, and his wife were trying to fix their personal car. He made me very uncomfortable during the entire lesson calling me "baby" and asking me personal questions about my parents lives and earnings. When we reached my driveway I thanked him for the lesson and ran out into my house letting him know my mom would come out to give him the money. I later realized that I forgot to take my permit. Long story short I had to drive to his house with my mother and get the police involved just to return my permit which he claimed he didn't have until the officers showed up. Worst experience of my life.
Negative experience: Mr Khichi is the worst driving teacher ever. He doesn;t has any techniques to each; he never tries to understand the student and the the problem area to focus on..his main motive is to get as much money from you as possible..DONT EVER go to this guy .. he behaves very bossy ..JUST to make sure you dont question him about driving technique...ppl may get confused that being a good teacher hr is strict..BUT he behaves like that just to waste your time.
Negative experience: Khichi is a fraud and lier!!! He has no shame even at this age. Do not risk your and your loved one's life as I was involved with an accident with him and he was using the cell phone instead on focusing on the trainer's break & road and hit the another car. Run for your life!!! DO NOT USE his cheap service !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic experience: I want to share my experience with Ace & Bharat Driving School. Mr. Khichi, was excellent. I can surely say that, with out him I would have not clear my driving test in Killmer, Edison.NJ. I have attended altogether 6 classes. I had always driven on the left side, Mr. Khichi, Help me to understand all the rules of driving in the US. He made my mistakes to be corrected. He gave me a very practical experience of driving in NJ, and was incredibly articulate in explaining what I needed to know. I would also appreciate Mam as she was very kind in calling my number and reminding my scheduled time when ever I had the appointment. After few lessons, I feel much more confident of driving here. I would highly recommend Ace & Bharat Driving School and Khichi....!!!
Positive experience: I highly recommend to go to this school. Mr Khichi is a type of instructor whom his student want to excel. He monitors each and every steps of you. Don't get disappointed on some of his comments related to your mistakes, he is very kind and supportive. He is honest and want you to pass the test with 1st attempt.
Fantastic experience: This is very professional driving school. They were the only one who managed timings according to my work schedule. Mr. Khichi is very honest and experienced trainer. I can say because of him only I could get the licences. I tried few sessions with other driving schools, but with Mr. Khichi, I could learn much more.
Positive experience: Because of Mr. Khichi I gain my confidence and I sucessfully pass the driving test in my first try . His teaching methods helps me in test. Thanks a lot Mr.Khichi.
Negative experience: Very rude in talking and do not understand from new person's perspective. I asked a simple question what all do you cover in your session then both uncle and aunty got irritated and did not ansfer the question and said your question is wrong. Please do not go there they are good for nothing
Fantastic experience: Most knowledgeable, honest, helpful and sincere service. They actually help you to learn to drive and get license where others only try to make as much money as possible out of you. I wasted a lot of time and money with other schools and instructors until someone referred me Ace and Bharat. Ask for Mr. Khichi. He is the best instructor.
Negative experience: Not even 1 * . he is a money sucker. does lot of personnel works during the class. waste of money . Lot of desi attitude problems. Talk rude. Never respect you. don't go this guy.
Negative experience: Mannerless illiterate these guys don't have even 1% of etiquette to talk the lady you answers the ph and the guy who teaches no one should go for driving lessons she doesn't know how to talk
Negative experience: This is my honest review about this driving school. As people say the instructor is really really bad and an old guy who doesn't have basic manners to talk to people. I was new to NJ and as others read the review and took up his classes. On the very first day, he was right in front of my house for a pick up and i missed to get the permit while i took my passport. He asked me one stupid question - "Does anyone teach you what to do on your first night after marriage"? This is exactly what he asked while i missed to get the permit for the very first day. I would recommend anyone who want to lower their confidence level to this person who calls himself "Mr Kichi". I tolorated his comments just for the sake of practising driving, but he's not worth it for the money and time spent. He praises himself that he's Great teacher in parallel parking technique. But beware, if you follow his technique you would be able to do parallel parking on day of test, but it will only work only using his car. If you really wanted to learn parallel park with confidence with any car, then this is not the place. It took me 2 attempts to clear the road test and on 1st attempt he'll try to lower your confidence level as much as possible on the day of test, make you panic that you will surely fail. The more classes you enroll with them, the more money they get. So beware of their stupid tactics. There's a lady who answers phone calls and books appointments and she's as rude as him and even worse who shouts on phone, if you request a rebooking of appointment even for a valid reason. This is not a place for people who really want to learn driving. I wouldn't recommend this for ladies or anyone who's sensitive and has self respect. This is my honest review.
Negative experience: Rating: 0 My wife had her driving test recently, She took few classes with Kichi(Biggest mistake). Mr. Kichi told her not to stop at the STOP board right away but should stop at the solid line that appears few feet away. My wife did the exact same thing and examiner failed her test right away because she didn't stopped before the stop board. So how come he doesn't know this small thing, and he claims that he has 35 years experience. No professionalism at all. Arrogant by nature. Over priced. My suggestion is don't get trained by him. You don't know what you end up with.
Fantastic experience: I attempted driving test on 09th July 2015 at Rahway and cleard on my first attempt. I specially thank Mr.Khichi for his excellent support and the way he trained on parallel parking and K turn especially. I would like to recommend this driving school for any one who wants to clear their test without issues.
Fantastic experience: I have cleared the road test on my first attempt at Rahway on 17th June 2015, I would like to give the whole credit to Mr. Khichi. Its that I see lot of people saying that he is rude and was never encouraging.. One important thing that I have to say here is that he corrects you right immediately when you make a mistake and warns you, if someone takes it to heart please see it as to our benefit only.. if someone feels that he is rude then better go for an instructor who is sweet but corrects you later.. I had gone to classes of other two instructors in NJ and see that they are not good enough to get me cleared on my first attempt..Mr. Khichi is just awesome in teaching your good and bad driving habits and explores you to help in correcting your pain areas..He will also explain the realistic unexpected scenarios and helps to get rid of such obstacles..Thanks to Mr. Khichi and ACE & Bharat Driving School..
Fantastic experience: I took few classes with the expert trainer of Ace & Bharat Driving School, and so many nice trick which makes driving easier. I appeared for the test and passed in first attempt. I like the way of teaching and recommend my friends...
Negative experience: Really bad experience. The instructor is not at all professional. He is not encouraging with words and rude. Fees is expensive and does not have a sense of time. Does not take you road test center for practice also. Do not recommend.
Fantastic experience: Hi i am Sunderraj,I got my driving license today in Newjersey.I thank my driving instructor,Mr.Kichi for this.He is very good driving instructor. His way of teaching is very simple and very organized. He is so experienced. His approach is really good.I wish him that he should have long life and good health for the years to come.... Thanks Sir...
Fantastic experience: Mr. Khichi.... he is an excellent and best instructor and he is very patient and friendly. He has some special tricks for turnings, parallel parking. You can just blindly follow them to park properly in a single attempt. I would strongly recommend this school.
Negative experience: Beware of this driving Institute. Very rude. I think First they should learn how to listen and talk to customers Properly. if you can't listen and talk properly how would you be able to train properly? Utter Nonsense. You cannot speak to the lady on the phone. I recommend not to go there. Don't end up having a horrible experience on learning skills that goes with you for the rest of your life.
Negative experience: i had one class with this person(mr khichi ) .. very rude .. does not have sense to talk just an old man .. who shouts and talk rudely .. he behaves as if he is doing favor on us .. but take a huge amount for teaching.....he is not even patient .... jus shouts on u and very very rude.....
Negative experience: Today I have inquired about their fee and who ever pick up the phone(male)has no sense of talking with customer.Very rude and stupid. Was raising voice on me so I did as well and then he hung up.Like he was going to give me lesson for free.He should go to teach to truck driving school to teach to those thick headed ppl not to professionals. If you can't talk nicely then you shouldn't be in this business.Get the hell out from it.Stupid.and yeah I agree with those who says they are rude and if possible I want to give them minus ten star.
Fantastic experience: Mr. Khichi is an extremely good teacher and really teaches the tricks of the trade. He is like a maths teacher who teaches you the certain things that you never forget. He makes steering control very easy with his small tricks (quarter turns + half turns). Very nice gentleman and very good teacher. I was a first time driver (31 year old never driven a car before) he taught me with utmost care and sometimes was strict whenever I made stupid mistakes. Overall you will never forget him and his lessons. Very good person to deal with he makes parallel parking a piece of cake. He is normally over-booked so make sure to make your appointments pretty early around 7-8 days before. Prabal
Fantastic experience: I have NJ driving license now and I owe the success completely to Mr. Khichi for his brilliant and precise training given to me. Three main things you need to remember is : 1) Listen carefully to each and every training advise and tip given by Mr.Khichi 2) Retain those tips in your mind during your test 3) be patient during your test. Once you adhere to all above points , you will come out smiling after your road test ....this is guaranteed. For me, I was in hurry and took very few training classes and I was worried due to the same. Still within such short span of time , Mr.Khichi taught me with so much care that, I was confident during road test and now I am a license holder. Mr Khichi could help me get success because of his huge amount of experience in rendering training lessons to his students. He makes sure you come across and become efficient with all the traffic rules and everything that road test examiner can ask for....Parallel Parking and K turn especially is taught so well by simulating same condition similar to the actual road test. He will even make you familiar with test location during training period. This gives you an idea about test location , tracks and gives you good confidence. He is simply superb.I definitely recommend his training school. As a person is is very nice, friendly and to my surprise, on the day of test he came to pick me up and before start of the test , he took me to Dunkin Donuts, bought me a coffee and asked me to relax. This experience was very amazing for me. Making appointment is very easy --you just need to call or send email to his training academy. The pick up -drop is on time and in case if you have time constraint, he will manage the timings for you, provided that you inform him in advance. One more thing...during training it might appear to you that he is scolding a bit, but believe me, those are not scoldings but pointers and these pointers create magic when you give road test..... Thanks, Rajneesh.
Fantastic experience: I needed a licensed driver to accompany me for driving test at Bakers basin today. A colleague referred Mr Khichi and I called his school last evening. They were kind enough to reschedule their driving lessons to accomodate my last minute request for this driving test and suggested that they could give me a one hour prep before the test too. I can parallel park and have always managed to fit my car into the tightest of spots without issues. But going and doing that at the test is an altogether different thing. So, I took up that offer. Mr.Khichi gave me all the tips and tricks needed to parallel park, taking a k turn out of the parallel parking spot (the manual described k turn will get you in trouble at the test; so his technique was really helpful), backing up etc. He was able to get me in early and I passed the test with absolute ease. I would surely recommend him. Trust me..He knows what he is talking about. Follow his instructions and you will be here writing a positive review soon... :)
Positive experience: i think my review will be useful for others. Today, my wife had the road test in Edison, Kilmer road DMV. She got her license. The credit goes to Mr.Kitchi. My wife has been driving for past 7 years in India but struggled a bit in US initially until she took couple of sessions from Mr.Kitchi. If you are not new to driving, but new to US driving, I suggest you get 4 hrs of driving lesson from Mr.Kitchi and you are all set. Infact, my wife makes better parallel parking than me now :). Mr.Ktichi knows the tricks to make it so simple. just follow his instruction, your license is guarantee, off course, you should also put your effort. Getting appointment is also easy and he maintains his time for the sessions. Overall, I am very much satisfied by his coaching and thanks to Mr.Kitchi. Again, the above review on based on my personal experience.
Negative experience: This place is horrible: unprofessional and rude. The woman in the office was in a state of constant aggravation from the first moment. When the initial appointment was made, instead of coming as agreed, the school called the contact number. We did not pick up right away as the confirmation call was not discussed. After I noticed a missed call, I called back and the woman started yelling at me that I did not pick up the phone and how can she come if no one picks up the phone or says it is a wrong number. I explained that we did not discuss confirmation call and I did not expect it. Furthermore, they DID call the wrong number as we never talked to her. She kept ranting and eventually hung up the phone. STAY AWAY!
Fantastic experience: This is a very good and professional driving school. They will schedule your appointment over phone, pick you up and drop you after the class. Mr Khichi is very experianced and professional trainer, and teach you the driving skills in a very easy and professional manner. i have a very good learning and i improved my safe driving skills. Trainer told all the safe driving skills that needs to be followed on road. he will train you in parking skills. there is a boost in my confidence after the training, i cleared my road test too.
Fantastic experience: he will teach you various techniques for parallel parking and other, i know little driving and i took an hour class before my drive test and am passed. i would advise you to go through him. he is excellent.
Fantastic experience: A very professional driving school. Mr Khichi as a trainer is perfect because he makes sure you know how to clear the road test. And also gives many tips about safe driving in general.Would advice a 3 hour training minimum. Keep in mind he might not be the most soft speaking trainer, but keep your ego aside and you will learn a lot in short while.
Fantastic experience: Hi All, I am writing this review so that it would help anyone who is searching for an ideal driving school like myself. He gave the tips then and there to re-correct myself if i did any mistake. His patience and guidance in making the students understand the road rules and the way to drive is cool. The driving classes and the instructions he asked us to follow are very effective. I took classes from Mr. Khichi.... he s is an excellent and best instructor and he is very patient and friendly. He has some special tricks for turnings, parallel parking. U can just blindly follow them to park properly in a single attempt. I would strongly recommend this school.
Fantastic experience: Best driving school to learn. instructor mr khilchi have devloped his own technic to Teach for reverse, parllal parking, street parking, k turn once you learn you will be confident to drive on roads his student passes road test very easly. mrs.pr singh
