Negative experience: This company screwed me over. I have less than a year with my cdl and before I came here I was in the oilfield. Different ball game. I got hired with no trainer and I damaged a trailer door. They give me a warning then a week later I get fired at the terminal. They made it to where I'd fail now I'm having trouble due to lack of experience and this incident. they just see you as a number.

Negative experience: CRST BROKERAGE, IT IS A COMPANY OF LYING THIEVES THAT SHOULD BE AUDITED BY THE FMCSA, THEY OFFER LOADS TO DELIVERY FOR THE NEXT DAY KNOWING THAT THEIR CUSTOMER DOES NOT OPEN AND WILL NOT RECEIVE THEM THE NEXT DAY, THAT IS A SCAM AND THEN THEY WANT TO PAY YOU THE MISERY OF 250 DOLLARS TO HAVE A LOADED TRUCK AND TRAILER WAITING FOR 2 DAYS.

Negative experience: I'm a driver to. This was my first job in trucking. I only used them to get my foot in the door. If your gonna try there, DON'T. You sit more than you drive and the pay is terrible. You won't make enough. The dispatchers act like they don't know what they are doin. Don't waste your time.

Negative experience: If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. They posted a load for $1,400 from MI to NY. I called them to try to negotiate the rate, they said the best they can do is $1,500. My dispatcher called later to book the load for $1,500 - they told him it's $1,300 and had no idea who posted the load for $1,400. They were asking me, the carrier, "Who posted this for that rate?" How am I supposed to know who posts what on the dashboard? In addition to this, why is every broker giving us different prices? One says $1,400, one says $1,500 and one says $1,300. Such an unprofessional company and no one answers your calls/emails - you literally have to call them 100 times just to get a hold of someone.

Negative experience: Try calling. You'll be disappointed. I guess. They have a different number for their drivers. I was a truck driver for CFI 26 years. If you would call, someone would answer. Just dial their number on the web. You'll know what I'm talking about.

Fantastic experience: Former employee. I worked on the caterpillar account. It was great. My route was home daily mon-fri (not everyone is home daily) crst pays very well. I was there a little over 2 years only reason I left was because I found a 3day work week somewhere else for school. If I planned on staying a truck driver forever I would have stayed. Definitely the best driving job I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: WORKING FOR CRST DEDICATED SERVICES WAS A GREAT ADVANTAGE FOR MY CAREER TRUCK KEPT MOVING WITH OR WITHOUT ME HAVING A STUDENT ONE OF THE BEST OUTFIT THAT I WORKED FOR THAT WAS A SUCCESS THEY KEPT GREAT CARE OF THEIR EQUIPMENT THAT WAS VERY IMPORTANT AND AT FIRST I HAD A SMALL PROBLEM IN REGARDS OF THEM HONORING MY PAY BUT THEN I TOOK IT TO A HIGHER DIVISION AND THEY FIXED THAT PROBLEM AMD NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM AGAIN 1 THING I HAVE LEARNED WITH THE COMPANY YOU CANT TRUST YOUR DM THEY LIE AND PLAY GAMES AND WONT OWN UP TO THEIR OWN RESPONSABILITY

Positive experience: Enjoyed this job, really easy, but the three drivers before myself wouldn't work as a team and keep the load rolling. the load would sit or the driver would stop and nap, never knew when you were going to work. frustrating.

Positive experience: We are awesome to not give up when our customers are struggling at times and appreciates our patience. We are all focused on improvements and share our ideas , concerns and communicate strategies. We are selfless moat of the time.We try to comprehend their changes and advance with them. Other times we anticipate our companies needs also, for our success as drivers with fleet management and time needed to care for us (CRST).Our customer exercises and disciplines with patience and expects results . Some loss wages on occasions we fear.Example...I have a DMV test due for particular days taken at home base; although, 8 to 9 am I am asleep due to federal regulations kept by trust, that I accumulate those 8hrs sleeper. 6 pm load pick up. I'm homebase approx 3 to 5am with no other duties involved with equipment. We lose 2 runs on 1 day lost. We cannot regroup these runs and remain stationary. Holidays invades our obligations and must be stratigized ahead to maintain steady personal payments. Our fleet management assist us as much as possible. I want more also for their dedication as well...beyond positive responses and utmost incouragement.Their support has us undeniably steadfast. Im proud of this team as we communicate important inspections. We work on relaying necessary reports to keep our runs clear as much as possible of break down delays. I'm tired...worked nearly 14 hrs. But our receiving customer shouts" perfect timing" and I'm late with shippers delay. Customers Supervisor jokes" you're late..oh yes you are! I respond....im as early as my customer allows me to be! The cup is half full. Stay positive everyone...your turn will arrive as mine for many days to years with CRST. SEE YOU THERE, sincerely Kathleen Whitney. Thank you CRST....always.

Positive experience: Great experience so far, but as in any workplace, there's always room for improvement, and I know they're working hard at it. For me, communication is key! At times, I feel like as if I've been avoided when trying to reach them. It happens in such large companies.

Positive experience: Enjoyed working for CRST! They scared me out of it when at my second orientation they said that any time you’re in an accident, it’s the truck drivers fault. They then had me sign statements that would indicate that I was told about all the safety regulations to include not driving on bald tires. On my second trip that involved a relay, I was given a trailer with a bald tire. I refused to run with it, and by the time it was fixed, had run out of hours. The next day, they called and said I wasn’t the man for the job. I guess they were right.

Fantastic experience: I drove for CRST Dedicated for 2 yrs. I left because of disagreements with Co-drivers. The management and my driver manager were excellent. Always respectfully and always gave me the benefit of the doubt. I wish I could have stayed with this company.

Fantastic experience: I ran Caterpillar dedicated and never sat still, always home on time. When my wife's mother passed away we were in Cheyenne WY and sent us a repower team so we could deadhead back to San Diego and STILL paid us per mile to the house. They really went over the top to get us home!!!

Fantastic experience: I delivered for CRST to JoAnn Fabric stores in the Midwest and northeast. If JoAnn hadn’t canceled their contract with CRST (due to another trucking company under bidding CRST), I’d still be driving for them. The pay was more than fair (most money I ever made in trucking). I had a newer Freightliner that drove great. If maintenance was ever needed, it was usually easy contacting someone to help get setup. And my dispatchers we’re friendly, helpful, and available when I needed them. If a driving opportunity similar comes up again in my area, I’ll be back with CRST quickly!

Fantastic experience: Great outfit, 95% drop and hook. Dispatchers always got me home on time. I left making $0.53 a mile.

Positive experience: Great company to work for I worked there 2 years I loved it .I had to quit only because my kidneys failed .I'm missing the great employers like catterpilar I wish their was a way I could get back on board now that I'm going to dyalisis.
