Negative experience: This place is a scam I paid $588 and didn't get any type of services done and they wouldn't compromise or give me a refund don't go through them these people are a joke and just scam you for money!!!!!! Oh excuse me 558.63 not only that you told me she hasn't done one class and when I asked you if I get to do the driving test and instead of the 6 hours behind the wheel that I paid for you told me no and I can't get a refund and go somewhere else you are a scam. Your company reached out one time just to get money and heard from you again until requesting a refund.
You enrolled your student in an online class two years ago. I texted you the same day you enrolled with passwords and log in information. Your student logged into the online course on March 17, 2023. Our records reflect that your student completed 26 of the 30 required hours and did everything up to chapter 17 but did not complete the final exam. Her last log in date was Dec 27 2023. You emailed this week (4-8-25) requesting a refund, claiming no one ever replied back to you and you were not able to log in. I pulled texts and sent you proof that when you had issues logging in, I assisted, as you were on the wrong website. You texted me back stating, "ok I got it thank you." Today (two years later), you are upset about your expired account being deactivated. I explained to you that contract dates, which are set by the state of Colorado, are valid for 18 months or one year from the date the permit is issued (whichever comes first). You wanted to view your contract, and I sent it to you. You told me that my contract was not "real" and that my company is a scam. The online class must be completed within 6 months of starting it. That is a Colorado rule. You stated that you want to take me to small claims court and that you wish to dispute a credit card charge that you made over two years ago. I explained to you that you need to do what you need to do. I am not refunding for a service that has expired that you used. If your daughter lost interest and phased out of the requirement, that does not constitute a refund. You then reached out again and told me you "were willing to compromise." I explained to you that we are not refunding you after two years. After calling me a "scam" you generously offered to negotiate with me and asked for a free driving test. Personally, I think you are the scammer. You claim you received no services, yet your student completed 26 hours of our program. I compare your request for a refund much like if you tried to "negotiate" with a restaurant on a gift certificate that expired two years ago. Do you think you could call them scammers and get a free drink? You have tried your best to get a free service from our company and I am standing firm, despite your blatant slandering. You did receive a service, Miss Sanchez. Doing a drive test for you is not anything I would take on. I am confused as to why you would want to take such an important test with a scammer. I am confident that if your daughter were to fail due to speeding or running a stop sign, you would accuse our test proctor of being a scammer. Please find a different driving school and book the drive test with them. You DID NOT pay $588. Rethink what you are putting in writing. I understand that money can be tight at times, but your creative attempt to shake a refund for something you used two years ago is not the honest route. We don’t “reach out” to our online students to ask them why they aren’t doing their classe after two years. That would constitute as creepy. The online course is self paced and we are available for technical issues if they arise. You claimed we “reached out” to get payment. Our records show you paid your balance on your customer portal from a remote location. Once again ……Your excuses just dont add up. We don’t do cold call sales. You chose to sign up and chose to pay, and your student chose to quit the class with one test remaining.
Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this driving school. The owners/driving instructor were very professional and made my son feel at ease even though he was very nervous. You guys are amazing, God bless and may your business continue to keep thriving!

Negative experience: 1st Choice Driving Academy @ Brighton Pavillions is hands down more professional. They are definitely more mindful of parents wallet. It's a win win.
Negative experience: 100% would not recommend. Took my permit test there and failed the first time because I had to listen to the owners bickering about taking their dogs home. Anyways- anything else was good but the woman was also extremely rude to me and my father. I recommend going to any driving schools in Westminster in which the process was way smoother. And looking through these reviews to see that any negative reviews are met with an artillery of attitude instead of taking feedback how to make the business better, really shows the true colors of the owners. Save yourself trouble and time. And to respond to your comment- I’ve had friends pass but had a friend complain about talks behavior recently. Which made me look at your reviews and see it’s not a single occurrence. And also 90% sure it’s morally wrong to be airing people’s (customers) results and testing dates online- as you’ve done that multiple times as well.
Neveah: It is unfortunate that it took you four years to leave this review regarding the experience you are describing. I have pulled your records and you tested in 2020, 2022 and took the driving test in 2023. It is tough to address when this much time has passed. It makes me curious as to if you were so upset from your experience and our "rudeness" that you returned to take the driving test at our establishment. Could it possibly be that you are upset that your friend did not pass her driving test last week? I would appreciate the real issue and not one that just looks good on a review. We can work to address issues if they are brought to our attention at least a month after occurring, but when they are over two years ago, that makes things unfair for everyone.

That is Jentel Oberhill bahahahahahahaha. My name is Kimberly. You got me dead. BUT I AM GLAD that you pointed out her unprofessionalism as well, as you are so right. I am not sure why you assume my kids father is my husband as it is another marked unprofessional comment. When you were called and told about the short notice and that we had mistakenly waited too long- you stated it would be no problem. You said you would have to see what the schedule was like for a class close to our call date (6/7/24) but scheduled us for Friday the 14th and Weds the 19th at 9:15 and said you would get back to us. Upon texting you , in follow up - you said nobody was available before the 14th and that when we came in, you would give us our 3rd and last class date. Upon arrival you said the student was absent from a class we were never notified of and that he wasn’t scheduled for Wednesday because you forgot to put it in and now you were booked. At that point, you became frantic and started miss quoting dates and scrambling. That is when I then “Called it as I saw it” and said that it was very frustrating that it did not appear that you had it together for the amount you charge I was surprised. You did not remain calm and started the hostility, when I came back with honesty that you could not handle, you became even more unprofessional. I clearly stated in my review that I decided to give it another chance because you are one of the only schools in our area. I DID NOT POST ON FACEBOOK- QUIT identifying my kids father as me or as being my husband. Of course you are going to reply the way you did - Because obviously you really cannot see it how it is and learn from this instead of combating it . I feel sorry for you business owner to business owner that you are unable to handle the blessed state of busyness that pays your bills and that you think you have the right to call it as it is but when somebody else does it, you cannot handle it. I am so glad this happened because there is another driving school in Brighton that I was not aware of that charges $200 less than you do and is outstandingly professional, and on top of their game. There is an overwhelming amount of reviews that labeled this place as hostile. Please self assess and do better. Original review: I was called rude and venomous when getting frustrated with the unprofessional behavior and unorganized structure of this very busy school. The dogs that roam here were barking so loud we couldn’t have a conversation and then the woman said I was raising my voice. I have experienced this one other time with my daughter as this is one of the only places in Brighton to go. I tried to give it another chance but am very sorry I did.

….Yes, you were called rude and venomous. I call it how I see it. Your husband called me last week to set up last minute required driving slots for your son. Being that we were booked beyond belief, I gave him two dates and said that I could possibly get a driver to drive on Saturday for the third needed slot on the 8th, but my instructor declined and had made other plans. I texted you that. Your son missed his first appointment. That cost our company money being we hired an instructor. I did not charge you a no show fee. I pointed out that he had missed it and you became very disrespectful and would not stop complaining. You claimed that the missed appointment was the one my instructor had "made other plans and could not attend." Despite the fact I had 3 customers waiting to take driving tests, you standing in front of me fuming like no other, I calmly sat and tried to find you alternative drive slots. After about 3 minutes of you going off on me and treating me like dirt, I told you that you did not need to be mean. I told you I was doing the best that I could to resolve your issue and find you dates. That is when you lost it. After back and forth in front of my customers I told you to leave and wait for your son outside. You refused to leave my office and insisted on going off on me. You even had the ignorance to try to get an innocent customer to join in. Funny thing is he did not speak English. You know, the Spanish speakers that you just wrote about on your Facebook review falsely accusing me of telling you two years ago that I did not like Spanish speakers? If that were remotely true, why would you return to such a racist, hateful establishment? We serve every nationality at our testing facility and for you to go to a public site and make such factious statements is unacceptable.
Negative experience: If I can give this place less than one star I would that lady is a rude crude person. She was rudely speaking to a customer on the phone when I walked in for my appointment. She then slammed the phone to disconnect the call in front of me. No customer service ethics whatsoever.

I am sure your review stems from the fact your daughter took a driving test with us and failed. I understand how disappointing it can be when our kids don’t achieve success on a driving test, however I can assure you that no matter which testing establishment she goes to they will fail her for the same law violations she committed with us. It is worth pointing out that once she eventually gets her driver's license, she won't have it very long if a police officer cites her for these same violations. Next, I would be hard pressed to think that I would slam a phone down due to the fact I wear an ear piece and we have no land line. I would not treat our valued customers in such a way nor would my cell phone sustain such a smash. We wish you the best of luck on your next driving test experience.
Fantastic experience: I seen a review that Jenny left and coming from a student that was in that class and was there all day I did not feel threatened by any means and I don’t think anyone else did either. The amazing people running the class were just joking around and had some inside humor. I very much enjoyed the class and had so much fun.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was very nervous and ultimately failed her test. However, she said they treated her well and they were very patient. Seems like a husband and wife team who are genuinely nice people. We will be back after correcting a few things. I do recommend this for anyone looking to take a driving test. Just a tip, have your car registration and proof of insurance ready to show. Enjoyed meeting them. Good people.

No one likes to fail, and we as testers don’t like delivering the news anymore than the teen likes receiving it. We always give constructive critiques afterwards and it’s refreshing to hear you are turning a moment around into one that will better your young driver. Fantastic experience: Such an amazing experience. The instructors are extremely sweet, and made the entire experience fun, light, and less stressful. They provide great feedback, and we’re very professional. I get test anxiety, and they made me feel very calm. Cracked a few jokes to lighten the mood.

Negative experience: Lady was very nervous gasping and nitpicking every little thing making my fiance nervous as hell. Failed her for no reason when the teacher caused any issues along with going against what her drivers ed teacher thats been in business for 20+ years taught her. Highly not recommended. The speed part she claims below i cannot verify but it is legal to go up to 5 over or 5 under in basically any state its common knowledge and was taught by the driver instructor she originally has as well as me 19years ago was taught same thing. And btw i was on the phone muted so i could hear everything which isnt against any rules so might wanna think b4 u speak. If i could go lower i would. DONT MAKE PEOPLE NERVOUS SO THEY CAN PERFORM NORMALLY SHE WAS LITERALLY SHAKING AFTER YOU!

Since you put your concern on a public site falsely accusing me of failing a test applicant for “no reason” I will reiterate what your fiancé, Miss Kaycee Garrison did to fail her drive test on 9-8-23 at my facility. She failed to yield to a vehicle and almost got hit, went 35mph in a 30 mph and failed to use her turn signal upon making a turn. I hope this refreshes your memory. I’ve been testing for over 13 years now and rest assured there was no gasping on my end. I apologize I would not permit her to smoke a cigarette in the car during testing as you requested and also denied you access to ride along as you requested. That was against state policy. I hope you find another testing facility that makes you more comfortable. Let me know if you have any more questions. It is not legal to go over the speed limit in Colorado. Only talking done by me was “at this street turn left” “at this street turn right” There was zero conversation taking place in the vehicle.

Negative experience: Spoke with the owner about a 4hr class for my 15.5yo. I asked why the cost was $200 instead of $65 like several other schools charge. She said because it included one permit test, to which I replied that permit tests cost $6 through the DMV. She snapped "I'm not going to explain my pricing" and ended the conversation. Yikes. Pricing is the FIRST thing a business owner should be prepared to explain. She could not articulate what additional value they create versus the competition. Big red flag and a big no thank you from me. I am going to shell out $200 since we're in a hurry to get this done, but it won't go to her.

You called yesterday to argue and stir controversy with me, not to simply ask questions about programs and pricing. Your tone was very sharp and rude. I stand by what I said. I do not have to explain my price setting to you. Do you act like this at Walmart when you find a more expensive item? You were angry that your daughter had passed the permit test and now has to take a state required class to get her permit. What sets my classes apart from the others is that I hold a masters degree in secondary education and over 19 years of teaching experience. Our programs cater to individual learning styles to boost learning. Allison Miller, it is parents like you that inspired me to begin my own business and get out of public schools where I get to choose who my customers will be, much like you get to choose which driving school you will enroll in. We are not a public school and do not have to tolerate or cater to your berating demands. You are just angry that I did not fold under your wrath. I wish you well with your "shelling out" of $200 and more importantly, I wish the driving school my best because they will have their hands full with you. God bless.
Fantastic experience: Great experience from beginning to end... my son did their online classes, took the permit test with them, did the instructor driver training, and also took his driving test with them! I would definitely recommend Elite Driving Academy!!
Negative experience: We basically gave them our money. They shouldn't say they are able to give instructions in Spanish when that is not the case. As soon as we said he spoke Spanish, whole mood changed. It was a fail before the test even began.

Every direction given by me was in Spanish. We are not allowed to carry on conversation with test applicants during the test whether that be in English, Spanish or Portuguese. We also point to reinforce which way to turn. The particular test applicant you are referring to NEVER misunderstood a direction. Even if an applicant turns the wrong way, it does not negatively impact the score. With that being said, we abide by the standards set forth by the Colorado Dept. of revenue. If someone breaks a law, we mark it. If someone performs a dangerous maneuver, we mark it, no matter what their primary language is. The particular test applicant you are referring to broke 3 traffic laws AND committed a serious action. All Colorado road laws must be followed no matter what language the driver speaks. As driving instructors and testers we are experts at driving between the lines as well as READING between the lines of your intention with this review. You are clearly calling us racist. All types of cards work at Elite Driving Academy. Visa works. American Express works. Even the Discover card works. We, unfortunately, find that the Race card will not work at our establishment. During the driving skills test, testers are multi-tasking. We are focusing on lane keep, stopping positions and completeness, steering technique, scanning patterns, speed limits, smoothness of stops and starts, and we are trying conduct a test where no one is injured. Believe me, at no point does a tester take the time to focus on skin color.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Elite Driving Academy! I am a single mother of two and was having a difficult time getting my two children to drive with me because I am busy and would get a little too stressed, while practicing driving with them. Therefore, I researched driving schools and talked to many people and they all recommended Elite Driving Academy. Brenda and Steve were professional and knowledgeable and helped my two children attain their driving licenses! My children also told me Brenda and Steve were awesome driving teachers. Negative experience: Took a permit test here as an adult. Called beforehand because my situation is unique. Had to wait a week to take the written test when they were already administering it. Came in at my scheduled time had to wait for a teen to take a drive test, passed my test only to be told it doesn’t count and I need to go to a DMV. NO APOLOGY NO NOTHING. Maybe run my id before making me test? Maybe take the time to understand my question ion before blowing me off? Maybe be a professional? Might be great for teens but the business owners could brush up on adult customer service skills
I apologize for your inconvenience of not being able to test at our third party testing organization. It appears you have several complaints: waiting time, running the ID prior to testing and rudeness. First, your appointment was 11:30 and the student driver before you is time stamped in our system to have completed at exactly 11:30. His test data was entered and time stamped at 11:35. We apologize that we were 5 minutes off schedule. Next, there is no way our system allows us to validate or pre-enter information prior to a permit test. Drive tests are always validated prior to the test, for the system allows that capability. We are able to test for new permits and reinstatements. The key is that yours was a re-exam. You received a letter at one point from the Dept. of Rev. stating that. It had specific instructions as to which DMV you were to test at and a deadline. We do not have access to that information, nor at any point was it disclosed to us that you were facing a "re-exam" not a "reinstatement." Those are very different. We cannot act as a liaison between the customer and the DMV. We teach our students here at the academy that in order to maintain the privilege of driving they must be responsible and informed. Reading all letters from the Department of Revenue and complying to all of their demands is critical to protecting one's privilege of driving. Once the message came into our system that you were only to test at a DMV and we informed you, you stormed out and began loudly complaining in front of an entire student drivers education class. You were given a full refund and you stormed out before any apologies or explanations could take place. You also hung up on my office manager when he tried to offer empathy for your situation.

Fantastic experience: I used Elite driving Academy for my wife’s driving lessons after looking up local schools with good reviews.. She had moved here from another country and wanted to get her drivers license. She took a total of 6 hours of driving and had both instructors. My wife had nothing but good things to say about her lessons. Steve and Brenda both where patient and worked with her so she understood how to be a safe new driver. I watched her go from being nervous and unsure, to being confident. This was because of the excellent teaching ability of both of instructors. I would highly recommend elite driving academy.

Fantastic experience: Love love, love this place! Brenda and Steve are absolutely amazing! Elite Driving Academy was recommended to me by a friend for my daughter and they were incredible. My daughter felt so comfortable driving with both Brenda and Steve and they helped her with the corrections that she needed to help her be a better driver. I absolutely loved them, they make you feel so welcomed the minute you walked through the door. But most of all you know your child is in the best of hands with them and that's what matters the most.
Fantastic experience: I had both my son and daughter go to Elite Driving Academy and both were VERY happy with the process. There were a couple times that they were able to be flexible with some last minute changes we had and ultimately was a pleasurable experience. I did read a couple of the negative reviews below and by reading both (which happen to be at the same time with the same argument 2 months ago) that one, you were upset that your child failed and the other was wanting to make changes but the school may not have been able to accommodate. I guess thats the world we live in now where everyone thinks they are entitled to whatever they want without regard to anyone else. Great school, great people and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Fantastic experience: We have had both of our daughters go through training and testing with Brenda at Elite Driving Academy. The girls were comfortable with her and learned so much. I would highly recommend this school to any of my friends or family. I wish this would have been available to me when I was a new driver.
Fantastic experience: By far the best.... Brenda worked wonders with both of my boys. I would highly recommend elite driving academy of Brighton to anyone looking to get a permit, license or testing. Brenda is amazing thank you so much for all the hard work you did for my boys.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Brenda and she was very patient and nice. She worked with me, being very flexible with my hours and when I could do my driving classes. Highly recommend going through Elite Driving Academy!
Fantastic experience: I got my permit and license through the Elite Driving Academy and it was a WONDERFUL experience. My driving instructor was very helpful and made everything seem less nerve wrecking through it all. Picking a place for your child to get their license is sometimes tricky, but I highly recommend coming here, Brenda made everything super easy when it came to getting my license and permit. Overall my experience here was great!
Negative experience: I just had the most unprofessional conversation with the lady there who also happens to be the owner. When she tried reschedule my daughters appointment via text and I called her on the phone to explain for the third time why I needed a late test is because my daughter doesn't get out of school until 4:15 pm. She literally had the audacity to cut me off mid sentence and say "We will do 4:45. Ok thanks bye" and hung up on me! She then called me back because she realized I had said I wanted to cancel and I told her I thought she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She tried blaming the wind! There is no way I would take my daughter there and highly suggest that others do their full research before thinking about doing so.
